Good food and nice portions. Lot of space to sit and liked that the food was not too salty. Fried zucchini and eggplant are great veggie appetizers and u get quite some quantity!

Super thin slice! One of the best pizzas in the area. I had a cheese, pepperoni, and vodka slice. They were all good in their own right. A different flavor for different tastes. The slices were light, so I didn't feel bloated even after 3 slices. Will definitely be coming back. Also, great service with a smile, which, as you may already know, goes a long way for me.

Great slice and friendly staff. First time visiting and I should be done it sooner........

First off, great local spot. We came out for a track meet and stayed for the pies! First impressions: quick service, beautiful ambience with family trappings filling the large seating area.

Let’s be honest. The pizza is the only real star here. It smells amazing when it comes out, the crust is solid, and it is what keeps people coming back. No argument there. That said, everything else on the menu was mediocre at best. Not terrible, but nothing that made me say I need to order this again. For a place with this kind of reputation, the rest of the food should hit harder, and it just did not. Service was okay. Not rude, not warm, just doing the job. No attention to detail, no extra effort. Now the real issue was the waiting area. There was a strong, unpleasant odor near the front that seriously killed the appetite before we even sat down. First impressions matter, and that alone takes away from what should be a classic, comfortable pizza experience. Bottom line. If you are coming strictly for pizza, you will probably leave happy. If you are looking for a full dining experience with food, service, and atmosphere, it falls short right now. This place could be great again with better cleanliness and a stronger overall menu.

I got a peperoni personal pie. The pizza was good but not amazing. I would say a 6.7 on the portnoy scale. The crust was real thin but not crispy or charred, it was a bit too soft. The toppings were good

Visited Joe & Pat’s in Staten Island The place has a great vibe—loved the look and the vintage photos on the walls. We had a large pizza; the crust was thin and crisp, which some people might love. It wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it wasn’t bad either. Overall, a nice spot to check out.

Came by Joe & Pat's with a large group after we had eaten dinner. Dinner prior wasn't too filling, so we had our second dinner here! We thought we were going to have to wait for a long time, but staff was friendly, and put some tables together in the back for us. Probably waited less than 10 minutes. Underwhelming and Overpriced I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The tortellini brodo was the biggest offender—the smell alone was enough to put me off. It had an unsettling, almost bathwater-like odor, and the stock was clear with little to no fat, making it taste as bland as it looked. The cheese pie had potential, but it arrived cold. Judging by its limp, floppy texture, it was probably left sitting out too long before being delivered. The only thing with any crunch was the crust, which was decent, but that’s not enough to carry an entire pizza. The chicken francese was just... there. Edible, sure, but far from impressive. The sauce was too watery, and the chicken itself had no real flavor. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good either. To top it all off, the zeppolis were a complete disaster—no crisp, just dense, chewy, and hard to eat. Biting into one felt like chewing on a tire. They were neither fresh nor enjoyable. For the price, I expected way better. Two stars—one for the price point and one for the fact that the soup didn’t actually contain a dead body, even though it smelled like it might. Wouldn’t order again.

I am in a rehab for 2 broken bones in both legs. The food here is terrible. I had pizza from Joe and Pats about a year ago. I decided to get myself a chicken Parm dinner. I waited over an hour and I was very disappointed. The pasta was overcooked, the chicken was thick and Tough. I ate the cheese, which was cold, and I ate some of the pasta, because I hadn’t eaten all day, and I don’t have the money to waste. I would recommend their pizza but the chicken palm dinner that I had was a disappointment, and a waste of money that I couldn’t afford.

Fried Calamari smelled like ammonia. They said that's "normal" and "it's fine"... Profits above food safety, apparently. Pizzas and pastas were very average. Overrated place, especially considering the entirety of NYC.

Not sure what happened to this place! Been ordering from there for years but the last couple of orders have been terrible. The sauce lacks flavor and hardly any salt in it. Pizza is burnt and way too thin. Thinner than their usual pizza pie. Eggplant parm tastes and looked like a five year old made it! Calamari that’s fishy and isn’t crispy. Might give it a try again in the future but I can’t see myself spending a couple of hundred dollars on a dinner that goes in the garbage anymore simply because everyone is disgusted by it and no one wants to eat it.

I'm very hesitant to leave this review because I work in the industry and hate to slam a local business, but honestly it was so bad I have to. The veggie pizza is officially the most depressing pizza I've ever eaten. :( $50 for two pizzas is insane for it to not be excellent. Soggy, over-loaded (crazy problem to have because who complains about that?), and tasteless. And what's up with not giving itemized receipts? Also- I asked for a half but this looks like a full. Took the L today with this one.
