Was Kunden über $1.50 Fresh Pizza & Hot Dog sagen
This late-night pizza joint offers affordable slices, especially the veggie pizza, which many find surprisingly good for the price. However, some customers report issues with inconsistent pricing, rude service, and pizza quality (burnt crusts, lack of sauce/cheese).

Probably the greatest price/quality ratio I've ever seen! Even despite the inflation, pizza is still 99 cents and huge and super tasty! 11/10, would recommend.
Excellent , delicious

It’s solid 1.50 pizza. Open late and rarely a crazy long line. Super close to Amor y Amargo or other bars in the area so it’s very convenient
Excellent veggie pizza slices, just the right crunchiness and not oily. Great price to performance ratio at an unexpected location
I fw this place heavy. Its the best 1.50 pizza in town. The service is usually efficient. The taste is quality for a dollar fiddy. And never any hassle if you pay cash. I stop by almost everytime i hit my gfs apt. Its the perfect snack :)

Its $1.50 cheese slice was good. The guy strongly recommended the vodka slice. It was good, but the bottom was burnt though. Pepperoni slice was okay.
Nice location across from the park. Fast service. But uh... more expensive than I expected. It would rank well as a $1 pizza place but it's not so it rates poorly as a regular pizza place.
Wonder when this place is opening as has looked ready to go for a while now along with its grand opening sign. Would be a different addition to this part of the east village for sure but will also offer an affordable option. Will update once it has opened. I will say that the hot dog and other options definitely offer a twist on your traditional dollar slice joints.

Not awful tasting but I would rather pay a few dollars for a slice over the $1.50 here. The pizza tasted and looked like they forgot to put sauce on it.

I ordered two 99 cent slices and he waited to give my change back. I don't think he would have given me change back had I not asked. Pizza was not bad though.
Recently went here. The pizza is NOT worth it for 1.50 (because yeah, they changed the name of their store to "1.50 pizza"). If you ask me, this pizza is worth even less than $1. It's that bad. I got some pepperoni pizza from here, and the pepperoni looked like it was moldy. I had to remove the toppings from it to eat it. But yeah, if that's how they messed up the pepperoni, I can't even begin to imagine how the hotdogs are. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I overheard the conversation of some skateboarder kids who starred in a commercial and because of pleasant it was. Apparently, one of the kids saw Adam Sandler play some basketball in the wild, and honestly, I don't know if that would be a funny sight or not. He did sound honest about it, so I'm taking his word on it.

Prices are fake on the menu, they'll just charge you whatever they feel like. Took $3 of my money for a $1.50 pizza. Pizza sucks anyway, there's 0 cheese on it and it feels like cardboard

The pizza guy is down right nasty. Heats 2 slices of pizza one on top of the other. Refuse to give a box because it’s 25c even if you wanna pay for it. Don’t go there please.
I used to think this was okay, but never going again. The people working there just don't care. When I interrupted their not-working, they went to the oven, said "uh oh", and pulled out a pizza that was smoking. When I asked for a slice, they tried to pass off this disaster onto me! Don't go here.
Got the $1.50 slice of cheese. Took one bite and threw it away. I’ve had so much better pizza. Even a block away. This place seems popular though. Every night there’s a crowd out front. They have a bunch of different flavors/topping combinations.
This is a pizza place right across from the park. They have a few pies in the front where you can order slices. The workers here are rude, talking on the phone to friends instead of helping customers. They also don't take credit cards if you're not gonna order a full pie, so unless you have cash, it's not worth going in. Also just in general, I wouldn't go here because there's way better pizza places nearby. Lastly, the prices outside are wrong and the real prices are inside which are way more. Overall one of the worst pizza places in NY which is saying a lot.
Their prices are WRONG. Their menu says $2.75 for two slices and a soda, but they will charge you more. I would have no problem if they changed their menu or gave you advanced warning but they do not. Instead, they insist on breaking the law.
The guy behind the counter made my friend and I wait for 5 minutes while the pizza was not even being reheated. After 5 minutes, he pulled the pizza out from the counter and tried to serve it to us. I asked him to please reheat the pizza but then he just asked for the next customer. Would never come back again. Not worth it.
the workers will try to shortchange you. they tried charging me $3.50 for a $1.50 slice, and only gave my correct change when called out on it. they know exactly what they're doing. make sure to count your change.
This place is a joke. They forcibly add on a “tip” to your order. I asked for one slice of cheese pizza and a can of soda, which came out to being $3.50. I paused, and when I asked for the price breakdown, the guy said $1.50 for the slice, $1 for the soda, and then $1 for the tip. I asked the guy “so you guys are just automatically charging for a tip?” And he said “yeah, nobody tips anymore”, which is an insane sentence to say both in the context of the situation and the wider trend of tipping being added on to every purchase in general. This happened around October, but maybe people would be more likely to tip or leave the change if they weren’t being charged extra without their permission or if they would hand your card back instead of just setting it down by their scanner, forcing you to have to reach across to get your own card back (which happened on a different time I went here). Ever since that surreptitiously added-on “tip”, I’ve never been back and walk one extra block to give another pizza place my money out of principle.

Worst pizza on Est side. Nearly no cheese. I’ll never come back again. The employee was mistreated us also. Don’t go.
