Holly Trammell the manager was very friendly and joked and laughed with me and that is important to me. Reagan who checked me out was super nice and had a warm and inviting smile. The facility was spotlessly clean. The service was fast and friendly. And of course the food is fantastic. I mean really its Whataburger what else do you expect. 5 stars all around.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! This place is always busy and they accommodate this very well. They frequently greet the customers and often check on them at the table. My family and I wanted for nothing and even when our food came out incorrectly, they were more than happy to remake it and check on us to be sure it was fixed to our satisfaction. I had the sweet and spicy burger, which was amazing, beefy and saucy. Our fries were hot and crispy. Unfortunately they ran out of sweet tea,(which is a sin in Texas) but another batch was promptly made and brought right to us. My children loved the kids meals and my mothers burger was perfect. My husbands burger, Bacon cheese whataburger was simple and exactly what it should be. Everything was amazing, the staff was phenomenal, especially Ray. Very courteous and accommodating. The store is staff correctly and ran smoothly. We WILL return based on this experience and this staff alone. There is a reason that people come to Texas for the Whataburger and miss it when they leave. This store certainly embodies what the company stands for!
It's whataburger. Food is always good. It does take a while to get your food so patience is needed especially during busy times. We usually order ahead and pick up and still have to wait until a little after the "pickup time". But it is worth the wait.
I've seen bad reviews for this location, but I've been twice and it's been really good. Granted I order 1 meal for myself and it's not during a rush time. But the burgers have been great, I'll keep coming back 👍 the kid at the window was kind and service was quick.
Quick in and out but very friendly service
Came in around 5:15 pm on 3.4.2025 during the power loss that happened in azle. The restaurant was extremely busy due to being the only ones open while all the rest of Azle was out of power. Witnessed Manager Candy handle a disgruntled customer very politely amid all of the chaos. She also stood up for her employees which now a days you don’t see very often. HUGE shoutout to COLLIN who was handing out food to customers for keeping so calm and being up most respectful , apologetic and just amazing ! Although out order came out wrong the first time , he apologized and handled getting us our food as fast as possible while also keep a calm and cool demeanor . We appreciate all of the hard work of all the employees during such a chaotic time. We appreciated the customer service so much we went back a second time later on in the evening. JENNA who was working the drive thru was so polite and handled our order well! SHOUT OUT you guys and thank you so much for all you do!

My husband works for Whataburger I always observe every one working hard to accomplish the job and accommodate the customers best they can. I enjoy meals with my husband and appreciate the opportunity to eat at your establishment the food is always delicious 😋
I’ve eaten here over 50 times. Food has its ups and downs. Mostly good. But today They had a young man named Seth working there. He was so polite and seemed to love his job. His customer service was far superior to the usual. He definitely is a cut above the normal service I have received before now. Thanks Seth.

Very clean dining area with friendly service
The kids whom were having to work Thanksgiving evening were all great. They looked like they were having fun and that made the trip there that much better. The food was hot and tasty and was such a nice relaxed place to sit and chill for a while after a long day.
Nothing to complain about. This location is quite busy so long lines and wait times are the usual but otherwise all us good.
Sometimes takes a little bit but worth the wait, because they cook it on the spot,hot and fresh

A couple weeks ago our church youth group was doing community service and we ate at the Azle Whataburger every day Monday through Friday. There were 21 of us and the order was as 100% and in a timely manner. The staff there is incredibly helpful and friendly.

We had an issue tonight where our burger was missing the extra patty, avocado and grilled onions and we didn’t notice until we got home. With that being said, when we went back the manager was SUPER helpful and kind! They not only remade that specific burger fresh, they made our entire meal fresh again and let us keep the old ones. Super happy with the service. Not many fast food places will make it right like this so I was very shocked. You don’t find good customer service much any more! 😊

Tons of folks in the drive through, but it was fast and easy...with the app folks on one side and the rest of us in another...Bravo! And of course, the burgers were hot and tasty. The only thing easier for me would be if you made it possible to order ala carte in the app. Burgers, bacon, condiments... let us order them by the piece, people would like to do that. You might make money!

Whataburger always hits the spot. The burgers are big, fresh, and made exactly how you order them, which makes a huge difference compared to most fast food places. The patties are juicy, the toppings are fresh, and everything tastes like it was just made for you. The fries are hot and crispy, and the spicy ketchup takes them to another level. Breakfast is just as solid, especially the taquitos and honey butter chicken biscuit. The staff is usually friendly and keeps the line moving, even when it’s busy. Jam-packed on Friday the 13th/Valentine's Eve we stopped in after Night to Shine to grab food. Even under all that pressure, this particular Whataburger kept cool and friendly and got all of our order perfectly right! They all deserve raises!!!!
I stopped in for lunch and thought the driver thru would be quick - apparently, so did a lot of people! The staff were polite, friendly, and kept touching back, communicating about wait times. Not the longest wait in a Whataburger drive thru, but easily the best handled I've seen. Thank you for making today as painless as you could!
Okay so let me start by saying WOW! This place took my breath away today. To the crew that worked the black Friday lunch rush, you guys are impressive. I pulled up about 11:30 am and the parking lot was full, the lines were doubled wrapped around the building. I ordered my food online and went in to get it. It took a little longer for my food (to be expected ofc) Im glad it did because I got to see this amazing crew in action. This tem worked like champs together with smiling faces and skills I've never seen before. They were fast, friendly and no mistakes. This team had it together. People were having to wait longer of bc they're so busy but even the customers had smiles on their faces and were enjoying seeing this team work as a team and not let the work overwhelm them. I've never seen anything like what I saw today. You guys deserve recognition for the outstanding teamwork I witnessed today. Thank you for that experience!
Asahi, also known locally as Wasabi, provided unexpectedly speedy service. ‘Twas the evening of thanksgiving, and all through the drive through… Asahi provided speedy service, for both me and you. A milk shake, size medium, was all we requested. Never in a millions years, could Asahi be bested. He sprinted promptly towards our car. We could tell he meant business, even from afar. A Gobble Gobble we gave and through to commotion… Whataburger’s next order is to GET THIS MAN A PROMOTION!
I absolutely loooove this location!!! Not only is their food always freshly delicious and made correctly, but the service is fantastic! The beautiful manager -Kristy- is so kind, polite, welcoming to all who walk in, and is even back there helping her crew with the overwhelming rush they get here! She's so hands on! And omg! The art work inside is awesome! I love this location! It has that amazing Texas feel atmosphere! Definitely my favorite Whataburger location! Hit like if you agree or you found my review helpful.
I've been coming here for years. Favorite Whataburger in DFW. Very friendly customer service, consistently. Diner's are clean and usually busy. Nice murals on the walls and the food is always fresh. No complaints here.
The place was packed tonight and I still received my food in a short time. Everyone up front was so helpful! Claire took our order and made sure everything was correct. This is definitely one of the better locations for Whataburger. It’s easy to get in and out of. And the food is always hot. I’m a spicy ketchup fanatic. So if I could tell you to try anything, make sure you try the spicy ketchup. While I have never had it. My son loves the spicy chicken sandwich. So if you’re not into burgers, this would probably be a good option to try.

Food is usually pretty good, using the app and ordering curbside is the way to go, they are spot on and quick. I go here a lot and the people are nice they always have great service towards me.
I went with a friend for lunch and I have to say it was pretty good! I got a chicken sandwich (highly recommend!). It wasnt crazy expensive and our order was given to us right away. The dine-in atmosphere was comfortable and the food was good, so I don't have much to complain about, but one of the employees made me and my friend a little uncomfortable (I dont think that the store can really do anything about it though). Overall, I love this place!!

Today is March 9. It is currently 11:50 AM. I have lived in AZLE my entire life and I have frequently eaten at this establishment. The current manager on duty at this particular time was beyond exceptional due to some app malfunctioning this manager on duty handled this situation, very cool, calm and collective very prompt. If I was overhead, I would for sure. Make sure that this woman is taken care of thank you again. Ok i dont give more than 3 stars for fast food unless the location deserves it . The whataburger off hwy199 and 730 counry rd in azle is the Best whataburger in Texas. I drove trucks for 10 years and it gets Jason's stamp now approval . Also the Blackberry Dr pepper MALT MALT NOT SHAKE IS GREAT . THE BLACKBERRY REALLY COMES THEOUGH WITH THE MALT MALT NOT SHAKE . Long wait, as usual. Was bit disappointed that they ran out of large buns. I told them that a smaller one was fine... but considering that I paid full price for my meal, I did not expect to also receive smaller pieces of chicken. Only one of the three chicken strips was the typical size. :-/ The other two were closer to nuggets.
This is the slowest Whataburger I’ve ever been to. Doesn’t matter if it’s delivery, dine in or drive through. Food is always good that’s why it is getting 3 stars but customer service sucks and so does the urgency of getting food out. management is not good. Whoever owns this place should really do some internal modifications because it’s not working.
Burgers and fries are good, although fries tend to be somewhat lacking and not fresh and hot. Breakfast items are great too. Table seating is not as good as the booths were after they went to tables and chairs. Drive thru is efficient.
I’m really disappointed with my recent order. I ordered 3 bacon burgers and 1 Jalapeño burger, but the labeling and preparation were completely mixed up. The Jalapeño burger had all the jalapeños piled on one side, and one of the bacon burgers was labeled as the Jalapeño burger. This caused a lot of frustration at home since no one got the meal they expected. Definitely not a great experience today.
I can get over time, but my only issue is alot of fast food businesses are cutting to many corners and getting sloppy. My mother got a quick bite for the family to find a piece of a blue latex glove in the salad she ordered. Between bugs and other non edible items getting into food I don't recommend them anymore. I just don’t understand why it is so hard for people to make a sandwich or burger as if they were about to eat it themselves! Honestly, how difficult is it to evenly distribute condiments and vegetables on a sandwich? If I wanted to make my own food I wouldn’t have came to a restaurant! They were very busy, I placed my order at the drive in, and it took a hour to finally get my food. When I got home, I opened the bag and the burgers were there and the sides, but they didn't take things off that I asked them to, and they added jalapeños to all the burgers. My daughter wasn't able to eat. When I called back up there, the lady told me to just bring the food and receipt back up there and they will fix it. I wasn't about to spend another hour in line. I won't be going back there again.
Food is good, I've never had someone take my payment there that isn't wearing greasy gloves which means they are touching money and then making your food, and on average at 530 in the morning no matter if there is 1 car or 5 in the drive through, you will be lucky to order and get your food within 15 minutes. Unfortunately this Whatabuger location was a bust. Wanted to grab the family a quick bite before a road trip and spent 30 minutes waiting for food. Thankfully the food was good and our order was correct.

I’m a long time customer of Whataburger in Azle, TX. For the past several times that I have ordered online for pick up, my orders are consistently incorrect, many times they are cold, I ask for extra condiments & told that they will put it in the sack, and I do not get them. I typically love Whataburger, it’s one of my go to’s for lunch. But I’m so tired of everything being wrong when I go. I chalk this up to bad management and training, or they just do not care. I’d like to see it tightened up and have better customer service. We should not be expected to check our bags before we drive away, every time. We should be able to trust that the order will be right. I’ve seen good restaurants close down around Azle, many times because of bad management, One of which was Wendy’s, who I also really liked. Their service was getting the exact same way, orders wrong, & cold, consistently not good service. Then they closed. I do not want to see that for Whataburger.

I'm giving it a 1 star because of the manager. I cannot stand to watch the employees get screamed at or treated bad. However at 11:25 am 11/08/2020 I sat there and observed the mistreatment of employees by the female manager. If you have kids don't ever let them work here, who wants to come to work to be treated like trash. Someone needs to fix this, no one should be treated bad and very unprofessional to do so in front of customers.
I ordered 2 small chocolate mint shakes, nothing else. After 25 min watched several families who ordered after me get their entire meal orders. AFTER 35 MIN I got 2 shakes however not correct...they offered to remake the wrong one, but I did not have another 30 min to wait. The women in the drive through I think she may have been manager, she was very rude an snappy for no reason other then she was asked a question. I did not realise a certain item was not available an she snapped as if she was irritated from having to answer it. Don't order the Onion Rings. This Whataburger will re-fry and continue to re-fry the same batch of Onion Rings until they sell and by that time they are dark brown, hard, and smell/taste burned. They have done this to me several times at this location, its a 50/50 chance you get fresh onion rings when you order so just don't order them and get fries instead.
Every time i have given this place a chance for the past two years it’s gotten worse and worse, and today was the last straw. Keep in mind i’ve been coming here for 8 years. Anyways, my chicken strips are usually undercooked so i ordered the bites thinking maybe those would cook better. Get my food, chicken is BURNT, half the fries? Burnt. Even had some fries that were fried with no potato inside. Kid you not. Didn’t get my toast. Had to walk back to the front to get my toast they forgot. Place is dirty, even when it’s not busy. This place is 100% not even worth it anymore. Sucks because it used to be the best place in Azle, now pretty much anything fast food here is terrible. Thanks for the waste of 7$ when over half of it was inedible 👌🏻
Once again they served me a leftover burger with cold unmelted cheese. Every table was filthy! Trash on the floor and under many tables. 5 out of the 12 soft drink dispensers had post-it saying OUT. 3 out of 4 tea containers were empty. Girl behind counter never took my order instead was loading the ketchup napkin tray right in front of me until a manager walked up and asked if i have been helped. Please tell all of your restaurants to STOP PRECOOKING FOOD! Should be fresh cooked as the order is placed every single time! This is the easiest job in the world so there's no excuse for this crap!
Well, there's a picture of the chicken strips on their website. The chicken pieces( they were TOO SMALL to be called strips) were cold, hard, and so stale I couldn't eat them no matter how hungry I was. This place is packed all the time. No excuse- we waited a half hour in line for THIS? Maybe the CAT will eat it. I'm so mad....
Food sucks. Every time I get the breakfast burritos, they taste like they were made the day before and I had diarrhea from it twice in a row. The employees are horrible people as well, I had a simple request and the girl screamed and yelled at the top of her lungs “oh my god” at me and walked off, so I pulled out of the drive through line and went inside to talk to the manger and I was polite and told the manger about the girl in the drive through yelling at me and the manger just started at me, with a blank stare on her face, you could tell she didn’t even care, when I said, if y’all are going to have that attitude and scream at me, y'all can just keep the food and she just said “ok goodbye” and walked off. So I haven’t been back since.
Horrible! Placed order in drive thru at 5:41, received 2 combos ordered at 6:01. You would think food would at least be hot right??!! Absolutely not. Fries were super cold like they were sitting the entire time. Traveling through for work, I must say the worst Whataburger experience ever! This place should just be shut down, no urgency whatsoever. I love Whataburger, but I'm going to have to just start avoiding this location. In the last 2 years, I have not had a visit without something being wrong. From missing items, to incorrect orders, to burned food. But this last visit took the cake on messed up orders. I ordered a curbside pickup order and they gave me three empty cups that were supposed to be shakes. And there's no point trying to get your order fixed because most of the time they won't answer the phone or they are too busy to assist anyone. I prefer going extra 15 minutes out of my way to order from the one in Haslet
Whataburger usually takes a while, but this one is one of the worst. Especially if you Uber. I stood here ignored for 10 mins and finally got recognition for standing here waiting, lady went back and looked, then kept on walking around like a lost puppy. No update to tell my customer. I don't know what in the hell they're doing in that kitchen or if they just cook one person's meal at a time but it is an unreasonable wait time to get one burger and some fries. I get there at 3:00 and by 3:40 I finally get my meal and all I got was an avocado bacon burger with some fries and a root beer. Forgot to mention there was only two people in front of me when I pulled up to the drive-thru so they are slow regardless of how busy it is it's insane

They are out of knives and forks so eating a salad or bunless burger is out the question. I ordered a bunless burger that I eat with a knife and fork. No utensils. Got my money back but going hungry tonight. The question is, how long have they been out of utensils? If I was the manager I would have got some at Walmart. Harmon would be ashamed. This is pathetic.

If I could give it no star I would! Worst Whataburger I’ve been too! I have no idea what needs to change whether it be how management directs crew on how to operate and get orders out efficiently or if they are just short staffed there. I always regret ordering online or at restaurant. Never get in and out experience. Takes forever no matter how many people are there. I’m sorry 30 minutes or longer to get order at a FAST FOOD restaurant is absurd.
This location cannot seem to consistently place all of the items you ordered into the bag with the food. Almost every time we are missing something. Sometimes a whole meal. These guys are terrible.
Orders 2 meals and a sandwich in the drive through 15 after 10pm, was told to wait in the far right lane and did so until 30 minutes went bye. Went inside at 10:46pm to see what was going on. Was told someone was supposed to have come and spoken with us about why fast food apparently is no longer fast. To top it off the food was unsurprisingly not warm and trash. Worst fast food service I’ve ever received. Steer clear, it certainly isn’t worth the time, money and frustration.
I don't know who is in charge of ordering the product but every time I come they are always out of something. It's a waste of my time and money when I order something just for them to tell me they don't have it when I get there.
Yeah went to eat breakfast there a few weeks ago just to have to deal with the woman behind the counter with her attitude. She was rude and I think she took our order but everything was wrong. I think she di d it on purpose and will not come back to this location again. You should really try hiring people with better attitudes and know how to work your equipment. I will be sure to encourage all my friends and family to start going to any location other than this one. Your store and employees are slow and I think get orders wrong for fun. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day but your store has changed that for me now. Will not come back because of some of your employees and wrong orders. This is not my first time here but the last.
Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches with fries and when I get home with food there are no fries. Come on people‼️ Disappointed ‼️Note to self. Check your order before you drive off.
They barely put any sauce for the barbecue and buffalo sandwich. The fries have been stale every time I’ve went.
Very simple order, their comps crashed and asked me to drive back up to replace the items they forgot instead cuz I guess they did it off memory idk. Instead of just refunding just kept my money and said the receipt had it and to bring it in again. I don’t want to go again now so there goes that money. Almost the wait is atrocious most nights.
I ordered from Whataburger through the official app on September 23, 2025. The delivery (via GrubHub) was a complete disaster — the driver went to what seemed like a dozen other houses before finally showing up, and by the time the food arrived it was a joke. When I called the restaurant to try to fix it, instead of accountability I got hostility, arrogance, and was hung up on. That’s the level of “customer service” Whataburger thinks is acceptable now. This isn’t the Whataburger people remember. Ever since outside ownership took over, the brand has lost all of its family-owned values, its quality, and its care for customers. Now it’s just another faceless fast-food chain that can’t even deliver its own product reliably. For the record, I did eventually get a refund ($37.87, Case #01580028232) — but that doesn’t undo the experience. If this is the new standard, then I genuinely hope the health department gets very familiar with this location, because customers deserve better than questionable cold food and contempt on the phone.
The worst! Ordered online for pick up.... why do o keep putting myself through this with this location??? 20 minutes in the parking lot. 17 minute wait AFTER the time they said it would be ready. To it off WRONG order.
I ordered the honey bbq chicken sandwich yesterday and a medium fry. I didn’t even finish the sandwich, only thing I ate. Ended up with food poisoning for 12 hours.
Usually I have no issues at this location but today I went through the drive through with 2 cars infront of me I waited almost 15 min after ordering a cinnamon roll and dr pepper after driving to work i found out i was charged for and given a root beer and biscuit and gravy meal went inside found the employees who messed up laughing about it informed manager Kristy who was amazing kind and got the issue fixed for me
Service is ENTIRELY TOO SLOW. They received my order at 12:34 AM on a Tuesday morning. They’re absolute slowest time of the day on a weeknight. The DoorDash driver arrive shortly afterward. My order was not handed to him until 1:07 AM. This was for two taquitos. In that kind of time my order could’ve been prepared and brought to my table at outback steakhouse! Absolutely ridiculous! This place needs a new management at night!
Trucks parked in curbside pickup spaces with noone in them, 30 minutes for biscuits and gravy with a raw biscuit and no fork. Damn, must be ex amazon employees
I placed my order at 5 AM when I got to Whataburger at around 5:10 AM It took about two or three minutes for someone to finally come to the speaker in the drive-through. My food wasn’t even ready so I pull up to the window and I sat there for another 10 minutes. I was the only car in the drive-through there is zero reason why 20 minutes later my food is ready. What is the point of ordering ahead If it’s going to take 20 minutes to get a burger and fries ready
So issue number one when I went thru the drive-thru at 2:30am on a Sunday night, the guy who was on the speaker literally yelled at me. A second person came on, very sweet girl, took my order, an order that took about 20mins to receive. I ordered the pancake platter, it came with nothing. No plastic ware, no syrup, no ketchup for the hash browns and the soda was flat. Of course once I arrived back to work, I work at Texas Health here in Azle, I tried to call to simply get the meal replaced for another time. No answer. After three attempts, no answer at all at the location. I will be calling again tomorrow morning as now I'll be requesting a full refund. The girl at the drive- thru was nice tho.
Just left the whataburger here in Azle. I ordered 2 number 1s with fries and drinks. It took 40 minutes for them to make the 2 meals. The fries are SUPER stale and salty! The burgers were both made incorrectly and with everything we said we DIDN'T want. I am very annoyed and disappointed that this location cant seem to get it together and are constantly messing up and slow.
DO NOT STOP HERE. This place does not have it together. Literally you get stuck in a two lane hell hole that takes an insane amount of time to deliver the food. We waited 22 minutes tonight at 9:50pm. Management needs to be replaced with people that can build a team and hold people accountable. This would be acceptable for a restaurant not fast food.
This Whataburger location really needs improvement. The staff appears confused and has trouble reading the order screens, which leads to incorrect orders being handed out to the wrong customers. Mistakes happen in fast food, but the level of disorganization here goes beyond what’s reasonable. Some additional training and attention to detail would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.
