Pedimos unos tacos al pastor y otros con quesillo. Tardaron bastante en traerlos por algún problema que tuvieron y además tuvimos que cambiar unos tacos por otros de camarón. Sorprendentemente, debido al retraso y a los cambios en los platos, nos invitaron a todo, incluyendo los 5 cervezas que pedimos! Trato excelente en todo momento, pero es que además los tacos estaban muy buenos y también nos regalaron un postre de tarta de elote que nos encantó! Realmente sobrepasaron las expectativas y el trato fue increíble! Muchas gracias!!!!

Excelente experiencia! La ambientación es cálida e íntima, la atención muy atenta y tranquila y tanto la comida como los tragos son deliciosos. Recomiendo especialmente el mezcalito y los tacos de coliflor. Los precios son un poco elevados, pero vale la pena para pasar una noche especial.

La primera impresión de lugar es espectacular, las luces le dan un toque muy especial, sin mencionar las velas que le dan una vista sin igual. La atención de todos es increíble, aunque tardan un poco en entregar tu orden sin duda vale la espera, pedí una orden de tacos de camarón capeado y vaya que estuvo rico, la variedad de salsas es buena, pero no esperen que pique (al menos para mi no lo es), me ofrecieron un chile habanero picado y con eso fue solucionado este tema, venden cerveza nacional y gran variedad de cócteles, así que sin duda pasarán un rato muy agradable aquí. Sin duda es un lugar que destaca en Bacalar, está a un par de calles del centro de Bacalar, si tienen oportunidad no se pierdan de este lugar

El restaurante Barbanegra Bacalar tiene todo el tipo de bebidas típicas del lugar, desde cervezas hasta mezcal, pasando por margaritas y ese tipo de cosas. Los mezcales van desde los 90 pesos en adelante. También cuenta con platillos tipo gourmet relativamente al costo. El restaurante es bonito y el ambiente es agradable. Es una buena opción para pasar un rato con los amigos, no es para bailar o algo así, pero se está a gusto, si es un restaurante recomendable porque sus precios son justos y la calidad es buena.

El lugar tiene una decoración cool , tienen buenas promociones en cervezas , pedí los tacos capeados de camarón riquísimos. También un queso fundido ( 1 persona) . El servicio muy atento y amable. Recomiendo este lugar para pasarla chill con tus amigos o pareja.

Excelente lugar en relación al precio me pareció de lo mas accesible, son platos relativamente ligeros y frescos, hay variedad de platillos y especialidades en bebidas como en tropical y el mango chango hechas con frutas naturales, el ambiente es tranquilo y la musica agradable, el servicio es un poco lento pero debo recalcar que llegamos varias personas en ese momento en si es un pequeño restaurante con grandes platillos y excelentes precios.

Excelente comida, excelente variedad, excelente servicio y lo mejor de todo, EXCELENTES PRECIOS!! Tienen que visitar este lugar, Sí o Sí cuando vengan a Bacalar! Fui a comer con mi novia y otra pareja y la pasamos muy agusto y muy buena música (no banda ni esas cosas, música de verdad)

Amazing tacos, tortillas and guacamole. In my personal opinion the best food in Bacalar. Good music, nice service, cool design but the most important was the food which was absolutely delicious. Just go there and try, it is worth it.

Great vibe, with cool overhead music and candles everywhere. Everything we ordered was delicious and very well presented. The 2×1 Happy hour is awesome! We got two rounds of Pina coladas and Mohitos and they tasted amazing. Loved the service, everyone is super friendly, even with some language barrier we had fun. I would definitely recommend this place in the heart of Bacalar

Cool vibe, good music and delicious tacos realtively cheap for the quality of the food and the setting of the place. They have vegetarian and vegan options both very tasty (I am neither but ordered them as the ingredients seemed good). For desert try the "Pan de elote" it's a classic mexican corn bread but they serve it right out from the oven with ice cream and passion fruit coulis. 5/5 Honestly well deserved

After driving around for an hour looking for locals' fish tacos in the coastal town and being thrown off by restaurants' vibes and prices y finally came here and was very pleasantly surprised by the fresh and easy going atmosphere, adequate prices and friendly staff. I received my meal and loved the presentation! And the salsas are delicious, especially the habanero/piña) will be back here for sure!!!

If there's ONE tip of a place you should definitely visit, drink and eat in Bacalar it's this one. Nice staff, fantastic cocktails and food (tried several cocktails, had tacos and camerones) all were simply excellent. But expect a wait, it's not too big of a place and seems quite crowded every evening)

We heard about this place from a German couple as the best food in Bacalar. We doubted a little bit but decided to go. We were amazed by the food and the friendly staff. We ordered the octopus tacos and the arrachera tacos which were incredible really good! We also tried the grilled shrimps a specialty and we were blasted by its taste! This place offers and habanero salsa mixed with honey which becomes a wonderful combination. Finally, we had the corn panque and the brownie and we definitely enjoyed them! Both desserts came with ice cream. The atmosphere is hippie/hipster with perfect lighting!

Best in town! The food is freshly cooked and is very delicious. They also have this heavenly tasting mango-chille sauce. SO GOOD! The owner even give us some local tips and advice for our trip ahead. Staff was friendly, chill vibe, cool drinks (even aperol spritz), good music and fair prices! Were here for dinner and lunch, no problem on either occasion. Food suggestion: Cameron or pollo taco. Would strongly recommend!!

Really awesome tacos, a bit more refined than other places. we ordered three tacos each which gave us a free beer each-so it ended up Costing less than at some street stalls in total. Great brownie with ice cream for dessert too.

We were very happy with this place. We went early to beat the rush, and were treated by amazing staff. English/Spanish spoken. The facility is very cool, has a “Tulum” vibe to it and it’s super chill with great decor. We ordered drinks and they were very delicious. She said it was the best margarita she’d had this trip. My mojito was great. The tacos were delicious as well. My girlfriend could not get enough of the “Tace De Hongo”(vegan portobello). They also have a mango pineapple purée sauce the put on the table that was to die for. 10/10 would recommend. Clean too!

Cool spot in Bacalar. Ask where it is if you are visiting. Its at one of the corners in an intersection. It is also a walking distance to the lake and also the Town square where you can pretty much get anything you are looking for. The atmosphere is trendy but very cozy. It has awesome music so feel free to dance if a good song comes on. Their tacos are amazingly delicious. And get a cold drink to cool off on a hot day.

Buena muy buena la comida y las bebidas. No pude dar mejor tanking porque hoy 02 de enero del 2023 el tiempo de espera para recibir los alimentos fue eterna.

El local está decorado con gusto, y llama la atención su luz predominante de color rojo. Nos es el local más barato, su apuesta es la comida con más elaboración. Pedimos los tacos de pescado y de camarón capeado, y dos Modelo Negra. Los tacos son muy ricos, más los de pescado que los de camarón capeado, que pueden tener un sabor dominante de fritura. De cortesía ofrecen un vaso de agua con hielo, y unos totopos. El personal, dependiendo de quien toque, es más o menos extrovertido.

A beautiful setting in the more quiet side of Bacalar. The drinks on the more expensive side. Margaritas were delicious and my partner's Pina Colada was also great. Ceviche - Amazing Prawn Tacos - Amazing Tacos Pastor- Bland ( This was the real let down of the experience, pork was dry and no flavour) The wait staff were nice, although after finishing our mains I did ask for the dessert menu for a gander but never received it. Give this place a try!

Lovely location, we were seated outside. Chairs are trendy but not the most comfortable. All three salsas were great. The free chips are salsa are a nice touch. My just had the rajas con crema tacos and al pastor tacos for myself. Both were full of flavor. The potatoes are different and great.

La comida se veía muy bonita ,pero por el sabor que carecía de el , no vale la pena el costo , esos tacos de camarón ($180aprox)estaban súper desabridos , sabían solo a tortilla (fría) y al germinado. El lugar es más como para irte por una cerveza no es nada cómodo para cenar , al lado tienen unas jaulas de pájarosmuy ruidosos . Buen Servicio un espacio muy limpio y aceptan pago con tarjeta.

At first we were hyped to find this place with many vegan and vegetarian options. The vegan tacos (with cauliflower) are pretty amazing we loved the flavors! But we also had the vegetarian „bbq“ plate (tabla de vegetales) and were really disappointed! The portion of this dish is ridiculously small for the price!!! We really can’t see a reason why it should be that expensive (250 pesos)?! We also can’t recommend the agua del fruta, it’s also way too expansive for the small size. At least it’s way cheaper in all other places.. Nonetheless the staff was friendly.
