Un gran sitio para ir a desayunar. Un agradable y hermoso jardin, los alimentos con buen sabor, buenas porciones, buen servicio. El dueño (creo que era el dueño) en caja, con un gran trato y una super sonrisa. Mi unica recomendacion es que cuiden un poco los envases donde sirven la miel ya que el que estaba en mi mesa tenia varias abejitas dentro, unas ya muertas, otras pude rescatarlas, pero es importante cuidar esta fauna tan importante. Fuera de eso, una gran experiencia y volveria a comer ahi sin dudas.

Perfect place to have breakfast! Great food, atmosphere and PETS FRIENDLY!! Just be careful if you order pancakes and ask for honey… bees will come to share with you…if you’re afraid of insects or allergic to bees.. it’s something you should pay attention to… we’ll be back anytime in Bacalar for sure!! We were very lucky and had also special music by very talented musicians 😍

Such a beautiful experience! The art and the local and fair trade clothes and items in the tienda up front are an awesome way to be welcomed into this space. The garden area is gorgeous and the food was SO good! Definitely a MUST for a meal or some shopping.

I loved dining here yesterday with my family. We ordered 5 dishes, everything was tasty, and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. It's right in the main square. I am definitely no expert on Mexican food, but I thought the mole was delicious with a rich and complex flavor. Try the chilaquiles! The vibe is so fun and artsy. I'm sure it's not the cheapest place in town but the art gallery, cozy garden, live music, makes it feel like a fun and joyful place to eat your lunch.

A unique space with garden, art space and good breakfast. We went there after Paddleball with lots of appetite. We finished everything and was well worth it. I loved the service of very attentive waiters and waitresses with nice smiles.

Bacalar is amazing, but el Manati makes Bacalar even more special. The space is cool and beautiful, inside in the gallery room or outside in the beautiful garden, we always had a great time there. The food is delicious, the service is very good and attentive and the art gallery and shop are woth a visit. I miss the Chilaquiles in el Manati! Hope we can visit again soon.

I have been looking for a good breakfast place and found El Manati. Besides the food they have lots of local hand made ornaments and wall arts. We bought some decorative stuff for our home. Backyard of it is beautiful. The food and everything else is very good. They had live music the next day when we went there second time. Helpful staff and good service. I would go there again.

Really cool, artistic space with an amazing garden out back. Fantastic coffee. Great food that came out quickly. Nice shopping. My BLT was very good, however the toast on top was too hard and the bread on bottom was soft and falling apart. The fresh mango juice was very nice. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

I recently visited El Manati and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The restaurant had a nice cozy feel to it, we loved sitting outdoor. They have a art gallery space too.. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to all of our needs, and they even helped my baby choose a dish that was safe for him to eat, taking into account his allergies. Now, let's talk about the food. I have to say, the dishes we had were absolutely delicious! The fish burger was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. It was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. I also loved the Burrito, which was stuffed with tasty ingredients and had a satisfying crunch to it. We also ordered the dates oats bar, which was a lovely dessert that was not too sweet. To wash it all down, we had the Guava smoothie, which was fresh and delicious, and the Lemonade with coconut water which was very refreshing. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant!

Please allow the record to reflect that I did not dine at this spot. My mom and I were walking the city center and spotted the beautiful entry way. The venue didn’t open until 8:30 am, it was about 7:45 am and the manager encouraged and allowed us to explore/visit the art gallery and garden. This place is absolutely stunning. The menu looked extensive, the gift shop has lovely sustainable and local products from clothes, bath/skin care and spices. Please don’t skip visiting this place and try some of their food that comes highly recommended. We were departing soon so we needed to get back to our hotel. Should I visit Bacalar again, and I do imagine that I will, I will make this a first stop for breakfast or lunch. The art gallery tells the story of nature and particularly sea life. I’ve only seen similar artwork in Mauritius, Africa and Coney Island, New York that have moved me like this. There were also some abstract pieces. And the garden was absolutely adorable. Staff was excellent, the place is huge. A combination on inside restaurant, outside eating area, arts & crafts plus clothes and other neat things. I dint eat there however the coffee and smoothie were good enough that I would go back.

El lugar es hermoso, permiten llevar a sus mascotas, la atención fue muy buena, tiene una tienda muy bonita. Adentro hay mesas pero creo que la parte de afuera del jardín es increíble. La comida estuvo buena, yo pedí un omelette, sinceramente estaba bien, creo que pudo haber estado mejor. En General tenía más expectativas de la comida, tal vez fue lo que pedí, pero mis amigos pidieron chilaquiles e igual comentaron lo mismo. Creo que podrían mejorar.

El lugar es muy bonito, además de ser restaurante es tienda donde puedes encontrar ropa libretas libros cuadros . Respecto al desayuno me parece bien, es poco caro pero creo que lo vale el sazón es bueno , los chilaquiles y café los clásicos. Merece la pena ir por el lugar es bastante bonito y el servicio es bueno

Escogimos este lugar para desayunar por mi cumpleaños, tienen hot cakes y aceptaban a Chuy mi perrita. El lugar es hermoso, tiene una parte de galería y unos jardines hermosos! Los hot cakes de coco, cacao y plátano regulares (me hubieran gustado más esponjosos). El burrito de pescado buenisimo y el sandwichito con huevo regular. Jugo verde bueno. Café bueno aunque no es refill y la leche/crema también te la cobran. La dueña súper amable. En el mero centro.

El restaurante cuenta con venta de artículos locales, venta varios artículos y también de ropa, al fondo se encuentra el jardín donde están las mesas del restaurante, está muy bonito. Tienen una gran variedad de platillos, muy naturales y la verdad muy ricos. Los platillos tardaron un poco, debido a que son preparados en el momento. El inconveniente es que el día que acudí no tenían pago con tarjeta, tuvimos que acudir al cajero para poder pagar la cuenta.

Es una galería tienda y restaurantes también un tipo coworking El jardín al final está hermoso para relajar y pedir de comer. Fuimos a desayunar y pedimos el BLT que está más o menos. Bastante seco chilaquiles verdes ricos unos rojos más o menos y unos molletes. El café no sabía a nada El chocolate estaba rico El jardín está lindo

El café americano me encantó. Pedí huevos a la mexicana y no eran la maravilla pero estaban aceptables. También ordené un panque de naranja, ese no fue de mi gusto. El lugar es lindo ya que tiene mesas al aire libre, así que debes estar consciente de que hay insectos por la vegetación del lugar, pero también tienen algunas mesas en el interior.

Great spot; when in Bacalar it is very worth it to visit this beautiful place. It is pretty big (and has a nice garden) and the vibe is warm and cosy. The food is a bit pricey, but good. Great service, we were there when there was live music; amazing! Only negative thing I can write is the amount of bees in the garden, but I'm still looking very forward to enjoy this gem again!

Food was very good and everyone is very nice! I had the vitamin C smoothie, vegan hot cakes, and coconut ceviche. My only complaints are that the live music was quite loud and therefore made it difficult to communicate with the servers. Also, the servers kind of forgot about me after I had my first dish lol, which was kind of inconvenient because I wanted to order more.

Lovely brunch here! I had the chilaquiles with mole and others had the pancakes. More western style service in a lovely outdoor space. However you will be swarmed with wasps if you have sweet food which did kind of ruin the experience. The chilaquiles were good but not as good as I’ve had in other parts of Mexico- would’ve been good with chunky avocado. The chocolate sauce on the banana pancakes was verrry sweet and the granola pancakes needed a bit of yoghurt or something! Good food but could probably find better too

An interesting space with a cafe, art gallery and a shop. They have on display artworks of young Mexican and Cuban artists in the gallery as well as the shop. Food is good and the backyard forest garden is the best. A place with a lot of potential!

We went twice to the El Manati for breakfast and tried the bread with butter and jam, the pancakes, the Maya omelette, the banana bread and the granola with fruit. Everything was delicious, so were the cappuccinos (just very hot so it takes a long time until you can drink it). The owner and the staff are friendly and it’s nice to sit there (off the street, lots of green, space in between the tables, comfy chairs).

IMMENSE GAMING

This place has a good environment with decorations, but is hot , and during my experience they did not turn on any fans. The food is “gourmet” and served in small portions,(If you want real food to fill you up go somewhere else) The fish tacos where good. The service is great and attentive, the wait time for the food is ok, but the breakfast food is sometimes unavailable and you will end up changing what you order, I don’t recommend the chocolate pancakes ( Hershey source on top).

No es como lo ven en tiktok. No vale la pena les juro que le tenia mucha fe a este lugar porque vivimos tiktoks pero claramente eran de inflluencers que no dicen la verdad y solo quieren quedar bien con el lugar. ●Yo les digo la realidad: ●Los platillos no tienen tan buen sabor, solo se ven bonitos para la foto. ●La atencion es mala ya que estando en el jardín nunca te hacen caso, las meseras siempre están platicando. ●Los precios son "accesibles" hasta que lo pruebas y sabes que no vale la pena pagar 140 pesos por unos "chilaquiles" salsa rebajada sin sabor y totopos super duros. Pedimos mas platillos porq obviamente no nos gusto lo primero que pedimos pero no fue buena idea, nada que valga la pena, solo gastamos a lo tonto nuestro dinero. mejor vayan a otro lugar que no sea "viral" ni tenga tiktoks de los "come gratis" Y si aun así quieres ir, lleva tu repelente hay mucho mosquito (ellos no te dan repelente) y tambien lleva un abanico o algo con q echarte aire porq vas a sudar mucho ( no hay Ventiladores)

A pesar de ser un lugar “popular”, deja mucho que desear. Como turista nacional, sentí extrema discriminación al ver que en el interior se encuentran extranjeros pero veo que en el patio (donde hay insectos) se encuentran turistas nacionales. De la comida está hecha de tal forma para el gusto para el extrajeron, como nacional, lo sentí sin sabor, sin picor. El café, lo pedí americano, tenía un sabor quemado… impresionante.

Acudimos a este lugar a desayunar y aun con poca gente tardaron aproximadamente 40 minutos en traernos unos chilaquiles, un burrito y huevos sobre pan. Un vaso de jugo natural a $115 pesos y sabia muy feo. El burrito de pescado $270 pesos y estaba lleno de frijoles y poco pescado. Los huevos de Oro estaban sobre un pan sumamente duro y no se podía ni comer. Y los chilaquites estaban ricos, pero insípidos. En resumidas cuentas es un lugar súper bonito y con buena música, pero poco recomendable para comer. Es un lugar al cual no regresaría.
