Exceptionally made to order meals by advanced expert chefs promptly served to your cozy scenic mountain view table by expert staff. If you are really really lucky you will have Ramona Stark as your server. Former chef at this location, knows ALL there if to know about every item on the menu and more. Extremely professional, friendly and interesting in her own right. She was a joy. Sharing helpful information about the restaurant, hotel and surroundings. The food was absolutely fantastic! Try the wyld mushroom omelette with the elk sausage. Piping hot, right of the stove, best omelette ever!

If you’re looking for the best of the best in Veil you’ve found it. WYLD inside the Ritz Carlton is everything that you could expect. From the old fashion to the amuse bouche, followed by the salmon cones to a full duck that’s been cooked for the last 5 hours, you will leave satisfied that this was money well spent. The only recommendation that I will make is make sure to request regular tortilla shells, they’ll give you some that were soaked in duck fat, tasty, but a little too much on the overindulgence for my taste.

WOW! Where do I even begin… From the moment we indulged in their delightful bread and butter, we knew we were in for a treat. The tuna aguachile was bursting with freshness and flavor, setting the stage for a culinary journey unlike any other. Our family's go-to favorite, the duck carnitas, never disappoints, and the portions are so generous that we always have leftovers to savor later. Venturing into new territory, I tried the poached lobster and was blown away by its perfection. And let's not forget about the desserts – each bite is a playful adventure, as you try to grab a bit of everything. An incredible dining experience! Def a 10/10

We had a wonderful time here and wild! The food was superb with very interesting food mixes! Really loved the balance of all the flavors and every single dish! We definitely will be back!

We had never been to WYLD before but were impressed with the reviews and we were not disappointed! The presentation of each dish was a work of art and the service was over the top. Our server Will, was very attentive and explained each dish and shared his own excitement about the chef’s masterful creativity. The chef came out to say hello to the guests and we happened to see the hotel (Ritz Carlton) General Manager walking through to check on things and both he and the restaurant manager stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying everything. That’s an incredible personal touch!

WYLD is our favorite place in the valley. Every visit is a treat. The service is absolutely top tier. The chefs are brilliant and have become dear friends over the years. We all love the salmon cones and side of bacon. The Christmas Holiday Menu this year, 2023, was absolutely delicious. Chicken soup had a lovely clear broth. The Crab Parker House and the Lamb was excellent. The Chocolate Bufino was a perfect amount of chocolate and citrus. Compliments to Jonny for the top tier service.

Downright amazing in just about every way. Incredibly extensive wine and drink selection with very knowledgeable staff. Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious! This place is not cheap, so expect to drop a pretty penny here. If you’ve got the money this is an excellent restaurant for a special occasion. The staff is probably the most friendly, sincere, knowledgeable, and passionate than I have ever seen!

I like the live music connected with the lobby. I like the eggplant entree, blue corn mushroom entree, sweet potato entree. Very unique. Tim is amazing and has gone above and beyond. I am very pleased and satisfied with his great service

Epic meal. Haven’t had such an elegant and over the top meal in a long time. Our server, Tim, and his team were the best. They took good care of us and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Paint It Black cocktail was a deceivingly light but potent coffee cocktail that we swapped with Bulleit Rye - super refreshing, eye-opening recipe. Blood Orange Creek with Don Julio was so bright, crisp, tart, agave-forward, paired well with the food. Salmon cones - could have had at least a dozen of those. The tuile was crisp, savory and slightly sweet to pair with the salmon and briny caviar. All the vegetables were artfully crafted - jeweled beet salad, all the sweet potato varietals, and the most unctuous sweet corn agnolotti with crisp prosciutto. The Colorado lamb for two is really for 4 people - generous platter of tender lamb with pickled red onions, parsley, and served with pickled cauliflower, Zhoug sauce, mini fresh baked pitas, the most decadent couscous (we asked if it was cooked in butter and the answer was “of course”). Thank you Tim and chefs for such a memorable and beautiful meal.

Our party of three had a delightful dining experience at WYLD. Simply for breakfast, all of the dishes we ordered were exquisite and prepared wonderfully. Our party was delighted to enjoy a mushroom omelet, the short stack pancakes, and the buffet. We were blown away by the creativity and quality of the food. The staff were very friendly and met all of our requests. However, I was not given a fork at the beginning of our experience, which they apologized for profusely. Compared to most restaurants in The Ritz-Carlton, this was surprisingly on the cheaper side of places, and definitely met up to its Michelin Star reward. I thank all the staff for their amazing personalities and cheer. I will be returning here the next chance I have.

WYLD offers an unforgettable dining experience in Vail. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made us feel at home. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable meal in Vail!

Had one of the best dinners I've ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection fell in love at the very first bite. Our appetizers were full of flavor. Mixed drinks were flavorful and done well.

Wyld is an upscale restaurant located inside the luxurious Beaver Creek/Bacholers Gultch Ritz Carlton hotel (Avon Colorado). The Wyld has recently changed up it's menu and obtained a daring new chef from New York who is amazing! His menu is filled with strong and bold flavored dishes. I started off with a salad, I believe it was the "The Today's Green pick?" The house dressing unbelievable and indescribable. It was sweet but yet tangy. Then I moved on to the New York strip. You had a choice in sauces, which I usually avoid but I had to try the house horseradish sauce. I'm very glad I did! It was quite delirious complement my nicely prepared steak. My side dishes consisted of a potato hashbrown creation that was created with an assortment of smaller different potatos. That and a dish of cut up asparagus. I was quite content to say the lease. Now we usually skip on deserts but we was intrigued as to what else the chef had up his sleeves. We all went with the Chocolate Hazelnut creation...cant recall it's proper name. Anyhow, it was absolutely delightful! It's kinda a muse dish with an assortment of other yummy delights...most of which was shaped like Hershey Kisses...but more yummy. Wyld was more than we expected and I would give it more stars if I could. It's not a cheap place but it's well worth the experience if you're staying at the Beaver Ceek Ritz Carlton.

Amazing food, outstanding service for the waiter , maybe the best food I’ve tried in my life. Highly recommended. It’s pricey but it worth it.

Ok, let me start by saying WOW! We were unable to get the duck carnitas the first time we went, but our waiter, Jeff, assured us they would have it for us the following night. So we went back the next night, and to our delight, we were able to order it. Again, WOW! If you like duck, or if you like tacos, and especially if you like duck tacos this is the meal for you. It is decadent and rich, but not overly (just the perfect amount) and was even better than we expected. Combine this with the outstanding service and this is a 5-star review hands down. 100% would go back again.

The food was out of this world. They may not have it on the menu if you go but the ravioli is a must. the service is amazing and the presentations are unlike anything I have ever seen. You can see the kitchen from your seats and the chefs are very composed and calm. The head chef has come up with creative meals which are awesome. Definitely a must.

We loved the ambiance and the service was great. The food was underwhelming, our favorite part of the meal was the bread and butter and truffle fries. The steak had no seasoning, the sides were good, the pumpkin didn’t have any seasoning either, and the chicken was our favorite! It was moist and the sauce was really good. Didn’t try any desserts

Cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was! From the moment we arrived to the end of the meal everything was SUPERB! Had the salmon cones and they were wonderful. Asked our server, Ryan, for a recommendation on wine and he brought me a wonderful glass. The chef brought us some truffles he made just for us once he learned we were celebrating my birthday and they were wonderful. I had the salmon and my boyfriend had the scallops and both were delectable. The dessert was not to be missed at all! Had the lavender blueberry ice cream and blood orange sorbet for myself and my boyfriend had the peach dessert that came with something else but I don’t remember what it was but, both were delicious. Every bit of our experience was over the top and we HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Definitely worthy of the Ritz Carlton reputation, without a doubt. Unfortunately we didn’t take any pictures of our dishes but they were wonderful

Superb dining experience. We are vegetarian, and the menu was very imaginative and outright delicious. Everything we tried was outstanding, but the cauliflower dish was the best ever! I wish I had photos to add, but our food disappeared too fast for me to get pics. The staff was attentive and super knowledgeable too. Highly recommend!!

Jeff made our dinner a lot of fun - thank you! Steak was a nice medium rare and the salads were delicious. I wasn’t a fan of the pretzel they served with the caviar but otherwise very tasty - we are looking forward to coming back!

Great restaurant for breakfast or dinner. They have a wide variety of dishes. Our daughters split chocolate chip pancakes and bacon, as well as a yogurt and fresh berries dish. Our traditional Mexican breakfasts were just the right amount of spice! Would recommend while staying at thr Ritz.

Visited two Saturdays ago just before the season ended. Food was very good and service was excellent. The pork tenderloin was perfect, cauliflower appetizer was requested by our 8 y/o nephew, and my husband is still talking about the blackberry cheesecake!

We can't say enough positive things about our dinner experience! The waiter Kyle was so knowledgeable about the meal choices and took the time to explain the meals in detail. Then when everything arrived, (Salmon) it literally melted in your mouth. The Chef - Manuel clearly knows what he is doing! If you make it to the Ritz, do NOT miss dinner at Wyld or you will be missing out on one of the best meals in all of Beaver Creek.

My wife and I had our first nice dinner as a married couple on our honeymoon at Wyld at the recommendation of our hotel concierge, and it exceeded our expectations. The food is fabulous, a great balance of creativity and classic execution, and staff went above and beyond to make the night one we'll always remember. You can't go wrong! Book it now and enjoy your perfect evening.

We had an excellent dinner here. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. We ordered a seafood pasta (special) and the brick chicken. Both were excellent - the chicken was so juicy with a perfect crisp skin, yum!

It’s very rare that you find an excellent restaurant inside a hotel in the US, but we had an excellent experience here. We ordered the duck carnitas and the butter poached lobster. They were both excellent, but for 2 people, the duck was more than enough and ultimately we couldn’t finish all our food. The wine menu is also great and there are fun non-alcoholic options as well. Returned for breakfast… knocking a star as the bacon, poached eggs, and pancakes were all overcooked. Fortunately and to their credit, they comped us the bacon and eggs.

Eddie A. Bitar

A relaxing breakfast area with excellent mushroom omelet. Nothing in the food stands out as world class but it’s the seating located in the Ritz-Carlton that takes it over the top. Everything is well prepared and appetizing so it is enough for a four stars. A recommended breakfast spot for anyone in Vail or Beaver Creek

Z

Beautiful during the summer to sit outside and enjoy a breakfast. Service was very slow but they were understaffed the day I went in. Chicken sausages and potatoes were a bit dry but I enjoyed the pancakes and eggs. Price is what you'd expect in Vail.

Lunch menu has limited options but good variety. Burger is fine but not impressive. Margherita pizza tastes good (better than it looks!). Curious about the pork belly ramen…didn’t get to try though.

Very good birthday dinner here. Got treated very well including fresh truffle shaved on top of our fries. Will our server was super friendly and provided great service. Make sure to check out the outdoor live music that might be nightly.

We drove to the Ritz from Breckenridge to have lunch and enjoy the views. We tried the cauliflower appetizer and the guacamole and then the poke bowl and lobster roll for our entrees. We thought the food was just OK but overpriced. The cocktails were the same. The patio atmosphere was nice. The poke bowls were pretty good but we’ve had better poke bowls for a third the price in our home town. The lobster roll was good but way too expensive for a lobster roll with potato chips. We were a little disappointed in the experience.

K
Kimberlee Rhiner

Everything was mid. The truffle fries needed salt. We were never offered any option of water at all. The bartender seemed nervous to even take a drink order from us. Dining room was beautiful though. WYLD bar was the only option for a drink from 4:30-5. Kind of disappointing when we spent 40min waiting on the shuttle/shuttle ride to get there.

L
Luis Enrique Martinez

It’s a good place without being great. Specially for the price you pay. Indoors it’s much nicer that the tables outside ,seems they don’t care about the decoration and look and feel of that part. Service is just good but again....you pay a lot, so you need a lot and you don’t get it here. Food is above average but not amazing.

C
Cynthia Mares

We sat at the bar and despite being fairly empty today the server/bartender kept cleaning while she waited on us. The potato leek soup had no potatoes and definitely had no leeks. It had a small amount of chives. Left everything to be desired.

Ate here as part of a large group where we had to stick to a prix fixe situation. The prix fixe menus ranged from $155-250 per person without drinks which is kind of outrageous but I assumed the food would be amazing for the price point. The burrata was average and the chicken entree I ordered was fairly dry but a lot of chicken on the plate (maybe even a whole bird). It had maybe a spoonful of a potato apple hash with it and a very light sauce, not what I was expecting unless you only want to eat chicken and chicken alone for your entire meal. The chocolate torte dessert looked beautiful but it was thick and dry without much flavor. For the price point, I thought this was fairly disappointing. Also I asked for a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and got regular olives without the waiter mentioning they didn’t have any blue cheese olives, I know this sounds picky but if you have to pay $24 for one drink with a service charge on top of that then I would at least let me know before the drink arrived..

Don't go here unless you really want to pretend you're having a world class meal, while paying upwards of $75-100+ per person. Went with a party of 8 and tried their Duck, Lamb, Steak, Chicken, and Scallops, as well as a couple of appetizers. The appetizers were a joke. To the point the whole party was laughing hystericaly because "Grandma's Consomme" is apparently warm celery carrot water with a single tortellini pasta for $26. Other appetizers were equally unimpressive like a literal ball of cheese for $25. The entrees were hit or miss. All were overpriced, of course. The $42 scallops and $72 NY strip steak were legitimately very tasty. The $140 duck was OK at best reminded me of Street tacos, the $72 lamb was good but unimpressive, and the $42 chicken was not much better than your average rotisserie. Drinks were good but not for $25-30.

Our only experience with Wyld was for Thanksgiving dinner. While the staff was great we came for the food. At $160/person for a pre fixe meal plus cocktails and wine, it was a GREAT disappointment. The food was practically inedible. Bland, dry, and underwhelming. Not a Ritz experience.

M
Michael Meehan

This is probably the worst restaurant I've ever been to and I eat out everyday. First off, the service is disgustingly bad. They don't wait on you because they add a 22% automatic gratuity to bill. Wait staff has no incentive to serve you. Secondly, the food is horrible. They try and make some fancy dishes that are just tasteless. We went for Thanksgiving dinner and none of us ate anything except the dessert. They charged us $555 for an adult and two small kids. Lastly, do not believe reviews they have posted. If you look closely almost all the reviews are posted with 4 pictures and are 5 star. They pay for these fake reviews. It's sad that The Ritz would rent to such a bad vendor and tarnish their own reputation. The Ritz can't hold a candle to The Four Seasons.

As regular visitors to Ritz Carlton's Wyld and its other dining venues, my party and I were disappointed with the rude treatment we received by the host last night at Wyld. Our poor experience did not end with the host, as the miscues kept coming, including having to send back a well-done steak ordered medium. I hate dining alone, when everyone else is done! Wyld fell so short of my expectation last evening, I'm uncertain about ever returning to Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch again--for anything--lodging, dining, or spa. Management was simply AWOL! We arrived on time for our 7:00p seating at Wyld last night and were shown to a table not in the dining room, but in the breakfast overflow area where they set up the breakfast buffet next to the kitchen--not where dinner guests are seated--used when they are unable to seat guests outdoors. This space has all the ambience of the waiting area at the DMV--except it's uncomfortably hot--next to the kitchen, and the lighting fixtures look (and work) like heat lamps making this area impossibly HOT and brightly lit. We felt like the ham under the warming lamps at the all-you-can-eat buffet. By contrast, the dining room is beautiful, decorated in soft, dark calming tones, mood lighting, carpeting to dampen the noise, and windows through which the ski mountain and patio create a focal point. Naturally, Wyld has to make adjustments for weather. When we were shown to a table adjacent to the kitchen in the breakfast room, I politely requested another table. Many tables were available in the real dining room. Why are we being seated in a space more suitable for a bagel and orange juice with the kids at 7:00a? We are here to spend $1,000+ for a quiet dinner for four adults at 7:00p. 🤔 I was informed ours was the ONLY available table by a host who was completely untrained, insisting there were no other options for us than a booth in the corner of the breakfast kiddie area) and that none of the available tables in the dining room were available TO US. (Wait for it--those tables are reserved for OTHER guests). I walked into the mostly empty dining room to take note of all the many scattered empty tables. The host spotted me observing the situation in the dining room when she approached me and politely again informed me there were no tables there available to me. That's when I asked her about the empty four top in the center of the dining room. She replied that table was reserved, but she could seat my party of four at a nearby long table set for 8. Oh? Digressing, My reservation for a party of four at 7:00p was secured by a non-refundable deposit. Not content to spend $1,000+ to dine in an area resembling a fast-food restaurant lobby or at a table for 8, I left and requested if the host could find us a table at Sakaba (the sushi restaurant) down the hall where we were recently treated to great experience. I was told "no" - that's it. One word. Apparently, the only vocabulary word that management teaches its staff at Wyld: No, you may not be seated with the adults in the dining room. No, I can provide you no seating in our dining room. No, the empty four top is not for you--it's reserved. Really? It's reserved? We now reserve specific tables for specific guests? Specific guests who aren't even in the restaurant yet while I'm on time and have a paid reservation for four? I calmly asked if we will be dining with a head of state? royalty? maybe a famous athlete reserved that four top. I couldn't help but to insinuate "isn't my reservation as high a priority as the person's reservation who isn't here yet? Maybe that party would enjoy dining at the kiddie table where I have my coffee in the morning--you don't know till you ask them! Flustered, the host excused herself. A few moments and ten minutes too late, a supervisor in a bad mood approached and coldly informed me my party was welcome to the four top. Inexcusably poor execution by kitchen, by host, and the absentee management content to leave inexperienced staff to their own devices. D-

We didn’t have outstanding expectations, but what we encountered was beyond disappointing. High prices wouldn’t be an issue if the food was good. Although the waiters were nice and accommodating and the place looked good the food was awful. I would never have thought it to be possible to ruin plain rice or broccoli or surround foie gras with old dried up plain greens. So little effort or skill for so much money. We canceled the remaining two main dishes before they arrived but still paid $160. Never going back again and will make sure to advise our friends to stay away from that place.

After over 10 years coming to the place for lunch and dinner this has been the worst ever. I am not sure if the chef has changed and meat supplier has changed or both and also the COVID 19 has affected the income so much. The quality of food did not warrant a $180 charge for 32 oz of meat of which 1/3 was fat and other 1/3 was not chewable membranes and $62 for 2 lamb chops that had to be redone and were tasteless and chewy. I am sorry but the Costco meat and lamb are superior in every sense than the stuff that was served tonight. My son who ordered lamb chops came home and ordered pizza from Blue Moose. We left the restaurant with no desert as well, which is never the case no matter how full we are. Desert is what you judge the restaurant by. We didn’t even want to waste time and our taste buds based on the rest of the food. So very very disappointed. Coming next time for winter ski vacation we will no longer be stoping by for lunch at WYLD nor will recommend it to anyone.

DO NOT GO. How is it possible that such a bad restaurant can be in such a nice building. Whoever runs the Ritz F&B program should be fired. Uber Eats had far better options from town sadly.
