It's the perfect place for those seeking authenticity. For those of us who want to enjoy venison stew with porcini mushrooms, accompanied by polenta and a delicious bagoss cheese, all surrounded by a stunning panoramic view and served by friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their dedication.
We returned to Cavallino with our friend Agnese, a restaurant with a terrace and an unmissable view, excellent dishes, and professional and courteous service. We ordered malfatti alla bagossa, braised beef with mushrooms, good wine by the glass, and crema catalana. Excellent value. Thanks to the owner, Laura. We'll be back.

Went there with friends and we shared 3 kinds of pizzas. They all were delicious. Same as the dessert. I would definitely go again. The waiters were friendly and we had a good time!
Homemade cooking, generous portions, simple but very good food. The lady at the cash register was incredibly friendly; I was amazed by her helpful attitude, even though I was a new customer. For example, I asked for a variation on the house dish, and she readily obliged. I also appreciated the gesture of bringing a bowl of water as soon as a customer with their dog entered. The atmosphere is unpretentious, but that's fine.
We ate two main courses (mushrooms and bagoss, one with roast and the other with braised meat): what can I say, truly delicious, plentiful, and at an excellent price (19 euros), a plate of malfatti alla bagossa, a pizza, 1/2 liter of house wine, 1 liter of water, all for 69 euros. Good food, kind and very nice waitress, and a very friendly owner.

Nice friendly place and excellent quality food at moderate prices
Great pizza! Make sure you order it with additional Bagoss, the local cheese speciality. The managers (owners?) are really nice and they let us have lunch at 14.00 which is a bit late by Italian standards - they were preparing to have lunch themselves. The location is very close to the "Centro storico" parking and there is a nice terrace with views over the valley. Although getting to Bagolino is a pain in general, from Garda for example, it's really worth it.
Highly recommended by a friend who, after years of saying "let's go," finally managed to organize it. The place is beautiful, maybe not exactly close to home, but I assure you it's worth the trip. We ate local products, cooked really well. The pizza was also excellent, and the house coffee at the end of the meal was highly recommended. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I definitely think I'll be back.

A restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the valley. The vegetable pizza is very good. The service is attentive and fast. The owner is always friendly and smiling.
Extremely good. If the weather is nice, I hope you find a spot on the terrace. The view is magnificent.
Pizza dinner on the terrace Unfortunately, my terrace spot didn't have a view because it was covered by a tarp and close to the road. The pizza was good, thin crust, cooked just right. Unfortunately, the vegetable pizza had frozen vegetables, which were very watery and a bit tasteless. Alas, the prices are very high in my opinion for the quality/price ratio, and the wait was very long.
