Fue nuestra primera visita y nos gustó mucho. Era domingo y pedimos un poco de todo: menú y carta. Todo bastante bien. Las raciones del menú (riquísimo) estaban muy bien. Volveremos seguro.

We always eat very well in O Luar, the food and the service are exceptional. We enjoy their tapas with a Galician twist, but also the burgers and the fish dishes. The staff is very attentive and professional, and the food is so good that it makes you come back. The atmosphere fits a night with friends or family or even a romantic dinner. Totally recommend this place and I am always thankful to the nice staff.

I like the sea food rice, super big, super juicy!!! The fish is amazing, so tasty, I like it!!!!! I kinda wished the waitress was a little more upbeat. Not a big deal though — just thought it’d be nicer if she seemed happier, haha.

Yum Yum What Been here a couple of times since I was staying nearby. I only went during the lunch time and got their lunch menu. It has been great! Every time I went it was something new on the menu and everything tasted great to me. Some of the dishes I had no idea what they are or suppose to taste like, but it was good nonetheless. The lunch menu is a great experience to try different things. Environment It is quite a space. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I sat indoor for most of the times I went, but I can see it could be great outside. Niceness of the staff Super nice staff. Effective and efficient! Dollar It was around 15euro for the lunch menu. It is great it comes with a starter, a main course and a dessert! Yes I would def yes!

Great food and great place. Location: this restaurant is located in the area of FIRA in Barcelona. Lots of businesses are around. 10/10 Atmosphere: clean, simple and welcoming. 10/10 Service: the two waitresses were amazing. The youngest with a dark hair very professional and approachable. It was a busy hour, we were offered 2 option to seat: inside or outside. But the only unprofessional person was the guy behind the bar. What an ass. We were waiting for the table to be cleaned and he asked if we were here to eat or drink, and he said no seat is available. Complete unprofessional barman. I’m not sure if he had a bad day, but as a customer I don’t care. He needs to change his attitude and body language. We were seated next to the bar and were able to observe his behavior. I am not sure his colleagues enjoyed his presence on that day. 0/10 for him and 10/10 for the rest. Food: the olives were great, the burger was tasty, the salad was well-seasoned, and beer as always cold and fresh. 10/10 Definitely I will recommend this place. And other recommendation is that you never know who your customers are. So be more professional even it was a rush hour.

This place has been an amazing surprise. I've been there twice in two days and both times it was excellent. Really cozy and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a romantic dinner or to have a peaceful chat with a friend. We shared a pulpo a la gallega, secreto iberico, stewed beef, pan de coca, croquetas and a beef entrecote (respectively 19-16-16-4-5-19 euros approximately). Everything was superlative. Really recommend this place if you're in this neighborhood. Reasonable prices and waiting time. The waiters were very king and also offered us a shot of limoncello after the dinner. Cheers from Italy guys, thank you and hopefully see you soon!

Buena comida. Ofrecen carta y menú, también de fin de semana. El local es bonito. Hay platos sin gluten. Servicio correcto.

Buena opción para comer menú por la zona. Buena decoración, servicio rápido y comida correcta. Quizás poner una opción vegetariana o vegana en el segundo plato atraerá a más clientes.

Restaurante recomendable. Comida de calidad. Nos gusto todo lo que pedimos. La tarta de queso espectacular. Buena atención y servicio. Siempre suele estar muy lleno, recomiendo reservar. Repetiremos.

Our first visit to Spain began in Barcelona, where we stayed at the Renaissance Barcelona Fira, a mere two-minute walk from this restaurant. We arrived for dinner without a reservation and found plenty of open tables. We ordered drinks, chili, fried squid, pork ear, and, most eagerly, paella—the dish we were thrilled to experience. The service was pleasant. When ordering the paella, the waitress asked if we wanted to share, as we’d already selected several dishes. Thinking one portion would suffice for two, we clearly agreed to share. We understood "share" to mean one portion for multiple people, but it seems the waitress may have interpreted it differently. The food was enjoyable overall; the pork ear together with the potato base, paired wonderfully with Tabasco. The Paella was served on a large plate, tasted good, but was too much for us to finish. To our surprise, the bill revealed we were charged for two portions of paella, totaling €42.40 (€21.10 x 2). Having explicitly confirmed we’d share one portion, this felt like a potential overcharge. A local Spanish friend later suggested this could be a common tourist scam, which left us uneasy. However, without definitive proof, we prefer to believe it was a miscommunication due to language differences rather than intentional deceit. Choosing to focus on the positive aspects of our trip, we let it go. We strongly recommend that other diners, particularly those communicating in English, carefully confirm portion sizes and quantities to avoid similar confusion.

Walked in around 6pm on Saturday. Plenty of seats. The staff were all friendly. Their tapas size is quite huge for me and the dishes ordered has potatoes as its base carbohydrates. Nachos was amazing. The zorza has nicely cooked potatoes but the marinated pork was a little too salty for me, might not be salty for you though. Tapas Truffle oil fries with octopus and fried egg was nice too, the fried somehow doesn't taste too much but nice truffle oil. The killer portion was Fideuà which is like paella but used noodles. The noodles were for minimum 2 persons and was too much for us although you can pack away. Prawns aren't the freshest but their mussels were fresh and tasty. I asked for a beer that is from Barcelona and I was recommended Estrella Damm. Very fresh beer and I loved it. Tiramisu was your usual expectation but distinctly it's milk was very fragrant, so have it if you want to.

The food was decent. The croquettes were large and tasty, and the pan con tomate was very good. The boquerones were a bit too oily, and the potatoes in the calleja bacon had an odd taste that didn't quite work for us. Service was mixed-one waiter who seated us was friendly and professional, which we appreciated. However, the second waiter who took our order wasn't welcoming and avoided eye contact, which made the interaction uncomfortable. The atmosphere was nice overall and added to the experience.

Front desk from Renaissance Fira recommends this resteraunt. We went there for dinner. Upon arrived we were offered 3 glasses of free Prosecco. Our server was polite and also gave us some recommendations. Food quality is good and reasonable price. However, I found that the food a a little bit too salty. We noticed this places started to get busy at 9:00pm. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are close by. 5 minutes walk from renaissance Fira.

Reservé para comer el día de Año Nuevo. En primer lugar, considero que el precio del menú resulta excesivo en relación con la calidad ofrecida, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que este año se ha incrementado hasta los 50 €. Como primer plato se sirvieron habas con calamar. Lamentablemente, los calamares no estaban correctamente limpios, ya que encontré en el plato varias plumas (la espina flexible del calamar), lo cual resulta poco agradable y denota una falta de cuidado en la preparación. En cuanto a los segundos y el postre, las raciones me parecieron desproporcionadas por excesivas. Tanto el ragú de ternera como el supuesto “brownie” presentaban un tamaño poco adecuado para un menú de este tipo. Además, el postre no correspondía realmente a un brownie, sino más bien a un bizcocho sencillo de chocolate con nueces.

Fuí hace un par de días a tapear un poco y el resultado fué bastante desastroso. Éramos 3 personas y pedimos una ensaladilla (muy buena), unas bravas (patatas con salsas inidentificables y 0 picante), fingers de pollo con mayonesa de teriyaki (no se le puede pedir mucho a algo tan básico y la mayonesa era normal) y lacón con cachelos (incomestible, sequísimo, no se podía tragar). Cuando le comentamos al camarero lo del lacón (ya que preguntó como había estado todo), nos dijo que eran conscientes de que estaba seco pero que era así como lo hacían y que le extrañaba que las patatas no picasen ya que había clientes que alegaban que picaban demasiado. El vino tampoco era bueno (la excusa fué que los rosados son difíciles). En fin, una vez y no más.

No vale lo que cuesta. Almejas a la marinera pasadas de cocción y la almeja era buena. Lenguado a la menier un poco a su manera, pequeño para los 22€ y si encima una mitad está como la suela del zapato por pasado de plancha…. No volveré Quizás a otros les guste el ambiente es agradable.

Muy decepcionante. Fuimos de menú del dia. Pedimos unos raviolis que era la típica pasta de super de marca blanca con tomate y un poco de queso, en un colegio los preparan mejor. De segundo la entraña estaba decente, bastante salada, pero lo único que se salvaba. El postre una tarta de queso ridícula que ni es tarta ni sabe a queso, lo único que sabe es la mermelada que tiene por encima. Los camareros tienen prisa por retirarte el plato y te generan incomodidad. En resumen no vale nada la pena, hay sitios mucho mejores.

De los peores sitios donde he comido de todo Hospitalet, nos pedimos unas bravas (estaba totalmente refritas y duras, malas malisimas) una ensaladilla rusa que estaba bien y unos fingers de pollo que eso no era pollo ni era nada, 10,25 por eso es un atraco a mano armada, las bravas incomibles y carisimo

Paramos a tomar unas tapas y las bravas son decepcionantes. Pedimos rabas también y todo congelado. Tampoco se esforzaron en explicarnos las tapas. No entiendo cómo se puede ofrecer esta calidad. No volveremos

The food at O Luar was genuinely good, and the Sangria was one of the better ones I’ve had. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing and overshadowed the entire meal. With the exception of one waitress with blue hair, who was polite, patient, and took the time to explain the menu, the rest of the service was surprisingly rude. The man who appeared to be the owner/manager placed every dish on the table with force, to the point where our lobster nearly slipped off the plate. We ordered a tomahawk steak, which was served rare along with a hot plate to continue cooking it. After placing two pieces on the hot plate, the owner/manager walked away without a word, leaving us confused. We ended up having to sizzle every piece of meat ourselves. We did not expect to cook our own steak, especially since the waitress had asked how we wanted it done. On top of that, the back cushions of our bench seats kept falling on us during the meal, and although the waiters saw it, they simply ignored it and offered no help. Towards the end of the meal, we asked a waiter for assistance with the lobster pincer. He took the tool, gestured that we should do it ourselves, tossed it back onto the table, and walked away. Most of the staff appeared uninterested and unbothered by guests. Although the food was delicious, the service was disrespectful and unwelcoming. We would not return, as no meal is worth being treated that way.

Worst paella ever had - seafood paella had nothing to do with real paella. Rice was overcooked, burnt and dry. We waited for this over an hour - the waiter completely dismissed us and was rude. For last we were overcharged for 25 euros. Money was returned but after the bad service I think this was intentional.

If you appreciate well-prepared, authentic Spanish cuisine and attentive service, we strongly advise against dining at Restaurant O Luar. The waiter exhibited an unusually sour demeanor when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the quality of our food. The food did not meet the standards of a reputable restaurant, and the price we paid was excessive for the quality of our meal. Be cautious of extra items being delivered to the table without consent and unwilling to remove from the bill. Poor business ethics here, very disgraceful.
