Muy buen lugar para comer o cenar. Difícil si no reservas previamente pero no imposible. Como todos los restaurantes de la zona, con muchos turistas pero también vimos clientes con antigüedad, por las conversaciones que escuchábamos con los camareros. El servicio muy atento y cercano, como de barrio. La comida, para nuestro gusto, muy buena. El ambiente acogedor, de estilo modernista, con mucho colorido y lámparas peculiares. Recomendable.

Restaurante pequeño y acogedor, en el que hemos comido de maravilla. Si bien quizá peque de cantidades algo justas (el menú), la calidad y la elaboración son extraordinarias. El trato muy amable, y el café igualmente de calidad. Muy recomendable.

La comida muy rica. Zeus, nuestro camarero, muy agradable, atento durante todo el servicio y muy buen gusto con las recomendaciones. El restaurante tiene mucho encanto, así como los baños, muy limpios. Sin duda volvería a comer en el restaurante.

What a gem in the centre of Barcelona amidst many tourist places. After 2 days tapas this was the perfect place. Very nice food, good vibe, friendly staff and good wine. We enjoyed a fine bottle of Albarino, a 3 course meal with caragilio (coffee with spanish brandy) to close it off and stayed just below 100€ for 2 persons. Definitely my favourite restaurant this weekend!

I am almost hesitant to write this review because it is a spot where the locals dine, which defines its charm. It is small, quaint, easy to miss with amazing food and a local wine list. It was our last day in Barcelona and the perfect meal to send us on our way! The simple menus are written on empty wine bottles and brought to the table when you are seated. You will need a reservation due to how small it is. We went for an early lunch at the recommendation of one of the shop owners after a day of shopping in El Born district and will go again next time we are in BCN. She said “not touristy” and we were in! We ordered a bottle of local Albariño, and I had the most amazing Salmon baked in parchment with coconut curry sauce on the side while my husband enjoyed a savory chicken dish. The crema catalan and cafe con leche were the perfect end. People wandering in without reservations were turned away, so be sure to reserve in advance. Most of the diners were locals and we felt very welcome.

Was recommended this from a local while shopping at their art gallery, and it did not disappoint! The owner was attentive & service was fast but not rushed. As the night went on, more and more people showed and it did get louder, but I could still talk and hear my friend across from me. It’s a popular spot for sure!

We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant Petra. We ended up there by chance after unsuccessfully looking for a place with outdoor seating. From the outside, Petra appears quite unassuming, which made the pleasant surprise even greater. Inside, it is simple but decorated with charming details. The service is very attentive and friendly, and the food was truly excellent. We are glad to have discovered Petra and will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely phenomenal! If I could give 10 stars, I would. We are finishing up a trip where we went to Switzerland, France, Italy, and Spain, and this is our favorite meal across all Europe. We went on a Barcelona walking tour and our tour guide recommended this place. It’s a limited menu, but you choose a starter, main, dessert, and drink. All for 17euro. The food was incredible, such great tastes and texture. Would 1000% recommend!

The chef is an artist. One doesn’t easily play with complex flavours successfully. But this one did a great job at it ! The fried egg with portobello mushrooms(mindblowing), pan con tomate (excellent quality crushed tomatoes.. wouldve liked bit more tomatoes on it), octopus (beautiful flavour and plating), chicken with potatoes (couldve been better).

Adorable colorful little restaurant with absolutely delicious food and fantastic service. We slipped in just before closing and were so grateful to have made it in time! We ordered the filo wrapped Brie with figs and it was chefs kiss perfection. It came with a separate delicious passion fruit sauce that was insane on its own but a bit much for the dish so we ate them separately but wow I’d pour that sauce on ice cream in a heartbeat!!! The filo dish was so good it didn’t need any sauce. We got the burrata with tomatoes and olive oil which was just incredible. The chicken with mushrooms and hazelnuts and potatoes was good and the dessert we chose was sautéed apples and vanilla ice cream which was a nice light finish to a great meal. Loved that the menu was on a wine bottle! Very creative. Highly recommend this place!

Petra was a hidden gem recommended by our Devour food tour guide, and it truly felt like a local spot. You can tell it’s authentic from the short operating hours—they cook with care, not for the crowds. The salad was the freshest we had on our entire trip, and the duck confit was absolutely unforgettable—hands down one of the best dishes we had in Barcelona. We also tried the octopus, which was perfectly tender with crispy edges, and the aïoli sauce was delicious. For dessert, the chocolate was rich and satisfying, and the sangria was wonderfully balanced. Highly recommend Petra if you’re looking for an intimate, high-quality local dining experience.

this was a wonderful local spot. we enjoyed several dishes and the service was kind and helpful. the best we had was the duck confit, which came highly recommended. we very enjoyed greatly the rice starter. wine is sold by the bottle, and we like to order bottles of wine. you cannot go wrong but definitely make a reservation!

You find this gem in a narrow side street right next to Basilica de Santa Maria Del Mar and when you walk inside it feels a bit like you’ve traveled back in time. The cozy interior with its colorful chairs and artsy window decor together with the random paintings on the wall and the open kitchen in the back give the restaurant a unique and authentic vibe. The menu is written on empty wine bottles and you can go for the lunch menu incl 3 dishes and a drink for 16,50 or a la carte. We shared a bottle of El perro Verde (following the recommendation of our waiter). The wine was great! Dry but fresh and very mild. Easy to drink without being acidy. I picked the leek soup as a starter and the fish from the market from the lunch menu. Both dishes prepared with excellence. Other dishes we tried and were enthusiastic about were the avocado salad, the turkey breast, the octopus and the cannelloni. Also the espresso was top quality! Overall this has been one of the better restaurant experiences I had all year and for the price we paid it was absolutely worth it.

AMAZING food. One of our best meals of the trip. Considering the location it was great value, especially the starters. The black rice is decadent and the burrata was perfect. The grilled chicken was so juicy and the Crema Catalan is the perfect way to end a beautiful meal. The only downside is ambience. We found the restaurant extremely bright, almost abrasive on the eyes. The space could benefit from lower, more subtle lighting. Service was pretty good, everything came fast and we were never ignored, which is all you can ask for in Spain in my opinion :)

Best place I ate in Barcelona hands down. Very cozy place with cute anterior, lamps with forks, knifes of spoons. The food was amazing. The wine was amazing. And the prices were very affordable. The waiters were very kind even though one specific waiter was a bit shy. I recommend this place fully.

Restaurante acogedor ubicado en el barrio del Born, justo detrás de Sta Maria del Mar. Pedimos la ensalada de tomate y burrata, los champiñones, riquísimos, y seguimos con el pato y el pollo, ambos muy jugosos. Un rincón agradable, con platos muy buenos dentro de la categoría del restaurante. Un gran descubrimiento.

Buen restaurante justo detrás de la Catedral del Mar de Barcelona, una ubicación espectacular y una buena elección si estás por la zona. 🔝👌🏻 Pedimos la berenjena a la brasa con sardina, los macarrones con butifarra negra, un arroz y pulpo. La verdad es que todos los platos estaban muy bien, tanto de sabor como de cantidad. 🤤👍🏻 El precio es correcto, éramos 3 y pagamos 32€ por persona, con varios platos, bebida y postre. 🤑 El único punto negativo, que espero que el dueño lea, es que al irse él nos dejó con 4 trabajadores que literalmente tenían grandes dificultades de entendimiento del idioma. Les pedimos un chupito de Limoncello y no nos entendieron. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Aún así es una gran opción si estás por la zona. Recomendable! 🙌🏻

Sitio ubicado en el centro de Barcelona. Pequeño y acogedor. Fuimos por que nos lo recomendaron. Pedimos un variado para picar y probar diferentes cosas. La carta de vinos cortita pero con vinos de proximidad. Todo esta muy bueno. El jamón espectacular. Para tener en cuenta.

El sitio es pequeño pero bonito por su estilo antiguo. El personal que nos atendió correcto aunque eché de menos que no nos ofrecieran un chupito al final. La comida deliciosa, me encantó el arroz con sobrasada. El ambiente... Pues como viene siendo habitual, mucho más turistas que habitantes de la ciudad.

Me encanto! El restaurante se encuentra en unas de las callejuelas del borne, en uno de los laterales de la catedral. Me encantó el trato, el servicio y los platos, deliciosos. El menú se presenta en botellas d vino, un detalle curioso. Ya he repetido varias veces, y seguiré visitándolo! Mejor ir con reserva.

Buen restaurante para comer, con menú por unos 13 euros que incluye primero, segundo, postre y bebida. Hay que reservar. El menú variado, incluyendo los segundos platos la posibilidad de elegir carne, pescado o vegano con huevo. Carta en catalán y castellano. El personal amable y el servicio no es lento. Recomendable

The octopus was really nice, though I didn’t find the Mayo necessary, so great they serve it on the side. Their menus are also accommodating as they have them in Catalan, Spanish and English. The atmosphere is also very nice, also recommend their desserts.

Came to this restaurant after a long day of walking and it had one of the most delicious food! Very eclectic design inside. Menu is on wine bottle. My favorite was the liver carpaggio which was to die for! The burrata was incredibly fresh and tasty.

Nice place for a dinner out. The food was very delicious. The starters, and mains we chose were filling and tasty. Service is fine. No rushing or hounding you for your order. We were the first ones in (7:30 rez). The suggested wine was good. Decor is simple basic but classy. Recommend getting a rez as the place started getting busy 30 mins after we arrived.

The zucchini dish we had was just okay — not bad, but not outstanding either. I personally don’t like seafood, so I wasn’t a big fan of the octopus, but my boyfriend absolutely loved it. The risotto we had was genuinely delicious and unique. As a couple, we’re open to trying different flavors. My boyfriend adored the duck — he recommends it to everyone! I really liked it too. Thank you for the lovely meal
