Fuimos a cenar con un amiga y ya desde la entrada se tiene la sensación de encontrarse en un ambiente acogedor y típico en su estilo.La comida es de excelente calidad, cocinada con cuidado y gran profesionalidad. Probamos platos tanto de carne como de pescado y estaban todos muy buenos.El personal de la sala es súper atento y amable; Matteo nos siguió y aconsejó en la elección de los platos con gran competencia.Super recomendado si quieres probar una cocina de calidad, auténtica y no turística.

Nos atendieron muy bien desde el primer momento. Van por turnos, nosotros entramos en el de las 22:00 y todo salió perfecto. La comida estaba muy buena, con platos típicos asturianos bien preparados y con sabor auténtico. El sitio tiene muy buen ambiente y se nota el cariño en la atención. Totalmente recomendable si te apetece comer bien y disfrutar de una cena agradable en Barcelona.

Fuimos con reserva y, aunque al llegar nuestra mesa aún no estaba libre, porque el encargado decidió pasar antes a una señora mayor para que esta no tuviera que esperar en la calle. Nos explicó la situación con total amabilidad y enseguida se disculpó, compensándonos con un trato excepcional durante toda la comida. Queremos hacer una mención especial al encargado: atento, detallista y con una calidez poco habitual hoy en día. El servicio fue impecable, cercano y muy amable, y la comida estuvo increíble de principio a fin. Sin duda, uno de los sitios donde mejor nos han tratado. ¡Volveremos!

Comimos muy bien en El Chigre, la comida estaba deliciosa y los sabores muy cuidados. Una pena que no ofrezcan tortillas de patata, un clásico de las tapas, ni refrescos como Coca-Cola o Fanta; solo jugo de manzana. También hubiera sido útil que avisaran que la bombeta de pulpo era picante. Aparte de estos detalles, todo lo demás estuvo realmente rico y bien preparado.

No tengo palabras para describir la experiencia gastronòmica que viví en el Chigre. Platos básicos a simple vista, una ensaladilla rusa, una ensalada de boniato, unas patatas con queso azul, donde cada bocado era una explosión de sabor, nada está combinado al azar. El intenso sabor de cada plato hace que comer sea más que introducir alimentos en la boca, toda una experiencia culinària. Y qué decir del servicio!. Qué con qué camarero/ cocinero me quedaría? Pues con todos y cada uno de ellos, simpatía, amabilidad, cortesía, simplemente saben tratar a la clientela y hacerla sentir especial, siempre con algún detalle extra que te convence para decir : VOLVERÉ!!!!

(17/12/2025) My first, but it won't be my last visit. I really enjoyed my meal: pork ribs on mash potato and a simple side salad served with a delicious dressing. Rice pudding for dessert was the best I've tasted. A small sausage appetiser was exceptional. The staff were friendly. Service was excellent, with very good attention to detail and admirable pride in their Basque dishes. The restaurant itself has plenty of character and an enviable walk-in wine fridge! Steak next time. Clearly a house speciality.

Dropped by on my way to Picasso museum to have a quick bite at the bar, tried the pintxos (self service) which turned out to be the best ones I’ve ever had. All fresh and tasty. An amazing experience. Friendly attentive staff who explained the menu. The food was just incredible. We had the aged T Bone with padron peppers and wedges. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The whole meal was just amazing. The desserts were just as lovely. Really worth a visit, we booked and glad that we did as it was busy.

Aged beef, giant steak for two, red wine, low lighting in the dining room back by the kitchen. It was a little warm in the back, but it was tolerable. We ordered a salad, refreshing and crisp, and they brought out some complimentary chorizo bites. The steak was fantastic, it is automatically cooked as the chef recommends, unless you request otherwise (you won’t be asked). How the chef prepared it (between rare and medium rare) was fine with us, we are OK with a good sear and red center, but if you like it closer to medium, you may find this to be too rare and should request a longer cook. Seasoned only with salt, the strong flavor of the beef really comes through. We hardly touched the potato wedges, we were so focused on the beef. Wine prices were shockingly good! This was great for a carnivorous treat.

I had such a great experience here thanks to Borja and Giuliano! The food was excellent: I had beef filet, and they serve bread from an award-winning bakery 🤩 And the dessert just blew me away! It was bruleed on top with soft pastry cream and delicious sponges soaked in alcohol. I really recommend this place!

We were here as a group of 7 people and really enjoyed the great steaks. The choice is amazing and the quality exceptional. We had those small breads as a starter but you had to eat them at the bar. No body offered us something to drink to the starters, which would have been a nice addition. I think you have to choose: eat in front at the bar or go in the restaurant, which is really special.

Todo es de una grandisima calidad con mención especial al pescado. La lubina que hacen es la mejor que hemos comida. Para chupar hasta las espinas. Las bombas estaban buenas pero no al nivel del resto. El tuétano estaba espectacular pero era muy poca cantidad contando el precio. La ensalada de burrata ahumada muy buena. ¡Celebramos mi cumpleaños en Chigre 1769 y fue un acierto total! El local tiene un ambiente acogedor y muy agradable, perfecto para una cena especial. El servicio fue atento y correcto en todo momento, haciéndonos sentir muy a gusto. Y qué decir de la comida... ¡deliciosa! Se nota que utilizan ingredientes de calidad y que los sabores están muy bien logrados. Empezamos con una tortilla con jamón que estaba sencillamente espectacular, ¡en su punto justo! Los dátiles con panceta fueron un auténtico vicio, ¡esquisitos! Y las patatas bravas, ¡una locura!, de las mejores que he probado. El arroz negro también nos encantó, súper sabroso. Probamos también el pulpo a la brasa que venía acompañado de algo de carne que no recuerdo exactamente qué era. El sabor era realmente rico, pero lamentablemente tenía algunas partes con cartílago duro que empañaron un poco la experiencia. Aún así, el sabor general era muy bueno. En resumen, si estás por el barrio y quieres comer bien, no dudes en entrar en Chigre 1769. ¡Seguro que no te decepciona!

Buena comida como la fabada y una entrada de dátil ,eso sí ,no recomiendo ir sin reserva , el servicio bueno pero te apuran para que pidas todo rápido y liberes el lugar. Al final me pidieron propina casi forzada, eso no me gustó. El lugar es para ir rápido comer y salir no para platicar.

We ordered a whole sea bream at Sagardi Cuiners Bascos, priced at €14 per 100g. The final charge was €126 for 900g. While the fish was well-prepared, the portion didn’t appear to match the stated weight—especially after deboning. Compared to other seafood experiences in Greek and France, this felt overpriced. Transparency was there, but fairness was questionable. For comparison, a generous seafood platter for two in Marseille—oysters, bulots, mussels, clams, and shrimps—cost just €62. That meal felt communal and fair. This one felt solitary and inflated. The fish was tender, the oil fragrant—but 900 grams? It didn’t look it, didn’t feel it. A dish that left me wondering if the scale tipped more than the plate. The stars were giving to the quality of the food and service. This place was just too pricey.

The quality of the food was definitely there, but we wouldn't recommend the ribs - they were fatty and lacked flavor. The tasting menu is very generous, definitely made for big appetites. There were two of us who ordered it, and we had to share it with our three kids to finish it. Overall, I'd say the experience was a bit overrated.

I had a recommendation to come for pintxos so I made a reservation not knowing that you actually did not need a reservation to have pintxos here. We cannot have pintos if we are seated in the restaurant with the reservations. This is very odd for me. We ended up ordering 3 simple dishes, ate and left with the. Hope that we can get a high table for pintxos. Unfortunately, By this time, the pintxos tables were all taken up so we left.

Awful! Service sucked and food wasn’t good and very over priced. Definitely a tourist trap and the staff was very rude and inattentive. AVOID!

Teníamos muchas expectativas por conocer El Tigre, un restaurante que llevaba tiempo en nuestra lista para cenar. Hicimos una reserva para el sábado 20/12/25 y, al llegar, nos llevamos una gran decepción: la carta que el restaurante publica en internet, incluso en su propio sitio web, no corresponde en absoluto con la carta real ofrecida en el local. Precisamente habíamos revisado el menú con antelación para saber qué platos pedir, y al llegar nos encontramos con una reducción muy significativa de la oferta, sin ningún tipo de aviso previo. Como resultado, no pudimos pedir los platos que nos interesaban. Este es un punto muy negativo, ya que el restaurante presenta una carta distinta a la que promociona públicamente. Otro aspecto igualmente grave fue que en ningún momento se nos informó de que el restaurante considera que todos los platos son para compartir. Éramos una pareja y pedimos entrantes individuales; como platos principales, mi pareja pidió un arroz negro y yo pedí tuétano con tartar de atún. El resultado fue una experiencia muy incómoda: el arroz negro llegó primero y mi pareja lo comió solo mientras yo simplemente miraba. Mi plato llegó mucho más tarde, tras una larga espera. Al comentar esta situación con el encargado, su actitud fue poco profesional y bastante reactiva. En lugar de asumir el problema, se limitó a justificarse diciendo que “hay que saber” que los platos son para compartir. Considero inaceptable asumir que el cliente deba saber algo que no se explica ni se comunica claramente. No se puede dar por hecho que, al pedir un plato, automáticamente deba compartirse. En cuanto a la comida, no recomiendo el restaurante. No me pareció nada destacable. El único plato que realmente podría mencionar es el tuétano, aunque tardó más de una hora en ser servido. El arroz negro fue muy deficiente; no diría que de pésima calidad, pero sí muy malo. Las croquetas, mediocres, con calidad propia de un bar y no de un restaurante de este nivel de precios. Además, durante la cena, antes incluso de presentar nuestra queja, el encargado nos ofreció un vino que abrió por error, ya que no se vende por copa. Aun así, abrió la botella y nos dijo que nos lo vendía por 5 euros la copa. Todo el proceso estuvo mal gestionado y mal conducido. En resumen, fue una experiencia pésima. Gastar 86 euros para quedarme mirando cómo mi marido comía y luego que él me mirara a mí comer es algo realmente increíble e inadmisible. Jamás volvería a este restaurante ni querría repetir una experiencia así.
