Ho pranzato qui con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo ! Oltre ad una qualità strepitosa che difficilmente ritroveremo in altri posti, aggiungo una nota di merito per il servizio, molto attento, grazie a camerieri preparati che riescono a consigliare e accompagnare nella scelta, senza mai risultare invadenti. Complimenti veramente !

Abbiamo pranzato con la famiglia e i nostri amici a quattro zampe di domenica dopo una passeggiata a Barolo sempre molto bella,locale pulito, personale gentilissimo e la proprietaria molto presente e disponibile in tutto, piatti buonissimi tipici, consigliatissimo. Complimenti!

Locale familiare davvero davvero accogliente. Cibo squisito, personale davvero ottimo. Attento ad ogni esigenza della clientela. Ravioli del Plinn davvero sublimi, se siete alla ricerca di assaggiare dei veri ravioli tipici in un ambiente perfetto, questo è il posto giusto. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Siamo stati a mangiare ieri sera e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Cibo ottimo, servizio discreto e veloce, buon vino. Il ragazzo che ci ha serviti ci ha dato dei consigli su alcune cantine parlandone in maniera davvero coinvolgente e appassionata, davvero bravissimo! Fabulous find in Barolo - special birthday dinner for my husband. Amazing service - warm friendly and inviting. Waitress spoke great English. Food was different, local, fresh and delicious. Wine list was great and waitress knowledgeable. When we return to Barola we will definitely choose here for dinner again.

In Barolo, we came across this absolute gem of a restaurant. A very warm greeting from the hosts as we made our way to the outside courtyard that was perfect for a warm summer’s day. The staff were really attentive, and really knew the menu and wines well. From the complimentary amuse-bouche to the stuffed peppers, then Cinghiale with polenta and Tagliolini Ragu, the food was sensational. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful space and very friendly staff, they suggested a wine with each course. I ordered the traditional set menu and enjoyed each course. The dishes were portioned well, to give the appropriate room for wine, the owner is very good with pairing and happy to help (with translation from the server). They gave me time to digest before being my next course and we're very adept with the timing of each course. If you're in the area, give this spot a try!

Restaurant review: very nice place with excellent and friendly service. Prices were good for the excellent quality of the food. Because that is really the star of this restaurant, the food. We had the wild boar anf the brasati di manzo fossano, both excellent and soft. Salt levels were perfect. Allround would really recommend coming here when in Barolo.

Fantastic food and cozy atmosphere. We felt very welcome: all our questions about food were answered with patience and we got great wine advice. Speedy and attentive personal. Owner came by and asked if all is in order to each table. No need to explain much, just tell that we had to return twice to indulge ourselves with truffle tartar, Tajarin noodles with ragu! Dessert recommendation : goat milk ice cream and hazelnut cake. Although you could find pretty same menu in majority of the restaurants at this area ( we did try many out), RossoBarolo is our top choice. Hope to return back soon.

If there was 6 star, I would give 6 out of 5!! Outstanding food in the heart of Barolo. Family run, I have returned here 3-4 times as I always stay here. Good is always warming, nourishing and feels home-made. Not at all pretentious and that’s what I like. Keep it simple and fresh ingredients. Your palate will awaken! I will be back!! In October 2024.

This place is a gem. Excellent food and service. Very genuine and feels like home. The food was great and also the wine and beer selection. One of the moments I will remember was when the owner tried her best to get us a taxi, but ended up offering us to drive us herself. Next level of customer service.

We went to this cute restaurant for lunch on advice of borgogno winery. They serve a lot of barolos and other nice wines per glass. We had stuffed onion, porcini with cheese fondue and the barolo risotto. Especially the barolo risotto was amazing. We had a little cheese selection and more Barolo, what a great place! Highly recommend this place, very good service asiel.

We stopped in for a late lunch thinking we would just have to grab something quickly, but ended up having a delicious full meal. We weren’t sure what to get to drink so our waiter paired our antipasti, primi and secondi with different wines and they were just perfect. The food and service here is excellent, we loved everything! Thank you!

Rossobarolo is an impressive historical restaurant located in the center of Barolo where you can experience highly "pleasant to taste" dishes of their traditions with the best palatable wine you could ever get. Ristorante carino all'interno ma abbastanza anonimo nel dehor posto nel cortile interno dove posteggiano anche le auto e senza alcuna vista. Cibo di ottima qualità ma sinceramente le porzioni sono minime. L'antipasto misto è delizioso ma caspita per 24 euro ci sono tre assaggini. Buona cantina dei vini. La proprietaria è gentile e il personale preparatissimo e cordiale.

A small and cozy spot serving authentic Piedmontese cuisine. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the limited quality dining options nearby, it’s a solid choice. The bean soup was outstanding—rich and flavorful. The beef tongue was exceptionally tender and juicy, and the fresh pasta was perfectly cooked. I tried the risotto with Barolo wine, but it wasn’t quite to my taste—best for those who enjoy bold, tannic wine flavors in their food. For dessert, I opted for the hazelnut cake, which was a bit too rich and not quite what I expected. In hindsight, the tiramisu might have been the better pick. They offer a good selection of local wines and cheeses, which pair nicely with the meal. Overall, worth a visit for a taste of traditional flavors, especially if you’re in the area.

Restaurant review, did not stay at the hotel. Indoor space and terrace, very nice atmosphere. Comfortable and nice, especially the terrace at the back. Food was very good, portions are relatively small. The goat cheese ice cream was extremely good (homemade). Friendly staff and fast service. Staff spoke a surprising amount of languages. Did not need a reservation.

We don't eat meat so was nice to find somewhere that had quite a few options for us. Octopus was cooked to perfection. Gnocchi to start was delicious. The soup was a bit cold when it came out but I was too British to send it back so just ate it! Not there fault, mine! Very filling. Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante attirati dalle buone recensioni, ma ne siamo purtroppo usciti parzialmente delusi. Abbiamo ordinato come primo i ravioli del plin ai 2 arrosti e i tagliarin al ragù, entrambi di livello mediocre: i plin erano poco conditi, e i tagliarin mancavano di gusto ed erano un pò troppo cotti. Come secondo abbiamo poi preso il brasato e il vitello tonnato: il brasato di gusto era buono, lo avremmo preferito un pochino più tirato ma nel complesso lo abbiamo apprezzato, mentre il vitello tonnato era gustoso e saporito, sicuramente è il piatto che ci è piaciuto di più. La bottiglia di vino rosso consigliataci era buona.

Good food but ridiculous pricing for kids meal. We visited as a family with 2 young kids. The food was great (pasta ragu and ravioli salvia e burro). For the kids we ordered plain pasta (no sauce). They charged 14 euros per child (as much as the pasta ragu), which I think is ridiculous. Unfortunate, because it is a nice restaurant with furthermore good service.

Hello everyone. I am not authorized to post a review on Google. In fact, I've hardly ever posted a review, whether positive or negative. I find the concept too easy and far too hard for restaurant owners. However, as I'm from the hotel and restaurant business and have been working in it for over ten years, I'd like to inform you, our next customers. Firstly, a service worth talking about. Very warm welcome, good standard of service for this type of establishment, second bread service, wine service, really nothing to say. A very good "antipasti", albeit very expensive for what it is, certainly white truffles, but excuse me, the name "Fried eggs" does not correspond to Oil + egg, quite simply. A consistent grating of truffles is no problem, but the appellation is most misleading. For dishes ... Ravioli des plins... 0 vegetarian indications, no sauce, no seasoning, no sauce, no taste, clearly I don't like it, I'm not saying it's not good, in fact I'm no one to judge, but clearly it's not good. Ditto for tarjin stews, tasteless, unseasoned, a cuisine without flavor, without love. Maybe we need to review the basics of cooking... We were lucky enough to have our non-vegetarian dish replaced by an equivalent veggie dish this time. Butter and sage tarjins. I'm not going to repeat myself a third time. A totally uninteresting cuisine that hides behind products such as truffles to justify its dishes. A quick bill for a long meal. A waitress who doesn't know her job and tries to explain to us that we're wrong during the check. Unacceptable. I won't say to avoid out of respect for the staff, but I hope that my comment will be read by the establishment to improve quality and challenge itself.

Do not go here! We ordered the white truffle. It was bland and no taste what so ever. It was a scam because they tried to scam us by putting 24 grams used but we only used 16 grams of truffle. It was 7 euros per gram so it was much money they tried to steal. The service and food was dreadful and they were mot friendly. This was my birthday and it was a shame to celebrate it at Rossobarolo. Do not go here my friends.

Updating my review to one star.. I came to this place multiple times for years. So feeling really disappointed that when today I have returned to buy a couple of their home-made crackers to take home, they didn’t want to sell any.. not even 2-3 pieces. And overall rude attitude, being really annoyed that I have even asked for it. Wow. So definitely not returning here for lunch or dinner anymore, and not sending my friends over either. Sorry, but too poor and rude treatment, so lost any desire to be here ever again.
