Great restaurant. My wife and I have been coming to Il Castello for over thirty fiver years (when it was near the river) and the food and service are wonderful. Estupendo y delicioso! Delicious pizza with superb crust, hot melted mozzerella cheese and a tangy tomato sauce. Accompany that pie with a crunchy ceasar salad and top it off with a cheesecake with whipped cream and raspberry drizzle...and you are in heaven! EN PARADISO! Thank you Peter and family. Il buon gusto!
I love this place it was my wife's birthday tonight and we have been going here for a very long time this place never disappoints

We love love love this place. Best pizza within 25 miles. The desserts are also absolutely amazing. Sometimes the wait can be a little long and the salad bar could have a few more options. Overall our favorite pizza place still.
Was on a family vacation and had a big take out order for the restaurant of which we knew nothing about. They got the order perfect and the food was great! The service was great and friendly. It was also a beautiful drive to the restaurant! Could not be more pleased. Thanks!
On the road traveling most of the day and found Castello Pizza and decided to stop and eat. We ordered pizza, garlic knots, and cannoli. We are from New Haven, CT. There are very few pizza places in this country that we would eat at and enjoy the food. Castello pizza was just like home.....only the prices were better. We travel this route often and will eat here again
They may be a pizza place but they have some of the best mussels I’ve ever tasted. I love their appetizers and their amazing pizza for me is just the bonus. I would definitely recommend eating here.
This place is INSANELY good! Relocated from New York to Pennsylvania, 500 miles away. Each time my husband is up that way, he orders a whole bunch of the deliciousness. I wish we could move back.

My wife and I had an awesome meal at a reasonable price. The portions were big and the food was prepared with care. I had the chicken parmigiana and you could tel that the chicken was fried fresh to order, so it was soft and juicy. It was not precooked and then just sauced and reheated like at other restaurants. The red sauce was a little spicy , but very good. The restaurant was very busy with both take out and sit down orders, but the wait for food was not unreasonable. They have a small salad bar that is included with your meal when you order an entrée. There were a good amount of choices and 4 different dressings to choose from. I will definitely return if I am in the area again. If you are in this area stop by you won't be disappointed.
The food was exceptional. Everyone working there was very nice... I was treated like I was a long standing customer, even though it was my first time there.
Pizza places usually make good cheesesteaks. The one I had here was one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had in my life... and it was huge. I ate the whole thing and barely touched my cheese fries because I was stuffed! I'll have to go back and try the pizza some time, if I'm not at the cardiologist haha.
Simply the most amazing pizza ever! There is no comparison to the flavor, we always make sure to eat here as much as possible when we visit.
Excellent pizza but both my wife and I felt we got 'the look' that says, you're not from around here are you? Not sure where that's coming from but it's not a welcoming feeling. Again food was great and fast service. While eating I was somewhat irritated by Pandora which was not the paid service - so between each Christmas song we had loud McDonald's commercials or holiday shopping commercials at various retailers. This negativity impacts the Atmosphere rating. Why let McDonald's advertise their junk food in your establishment? Pay for Pandora or play a CD.
I'm not a fan of the pizza from here because in my personal opinion the crust is too thick. Some people like that, I do not. That being said the rest of their food is phenomenal! They're also the only pizza place in that area so I commend them for that as well! 😁
My son said it was the best lasagna he's ever had. The lobster ravioli is fine but nothing special and the zuppa di pesce was pretty good. Overall the prices were a lot higher than expected
Loved it the first time. Excellent red sauce (gravy). Im from NYC. I work in kitchens for 30yrs in Manhattan. The second time I ordered spaghetti and clam sauce. Pasta was way over cooked almost to mush, swimming in oil. I couldnt even eat it. I dont send food back, it should have never left the kitchen. The waiter gave us a jar of grated cheese covered in mold spots you could see from across the room. Very disappointed.
I usually really enjoy the pizza. I had not ordered from here in a month or two. So much to my dismay, when I ordered here tonight, I was very disappointed. I know for a fact that I've gotten a Margherita pizza here before with sliced tomatoes, sliced fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. Tonight it was NOT made like that. And despite what the woman on the phone told me, it wasn't ALWAYS made the way we got it tonight, because if it had been I'd have never ordered it again. Also, those were not garlic knots I was given because garlic knots are not rolled up dough and cheese. I don't know what is going on here but it's changed and I'll be finding a new place. Highly disappointed.
Called and order pizza got there and the pizza wasnt ready they didnt even put it in the oven spoke to the owner and he said go somewhere else nasty people not nice at all i would suggest never go there besides no parking stay away
