Omg the longest wait ever! About 45 minutes literally in the drive through. First and last time at this Starbucks. I ordered a caramel macchiato and I couldn’t taste the caramel, but I sure could the vanilla syrup! Seeing the previous reviews, it looks like the extremely long wait times is not unusual. This store needs major training.
This location seems to deal with a very busy drive through, so even if it looks quiet inside (and it's quite small inside too) it can still be quite some time before you can get your drink due to the volume of people using the drive through. Having said that, they were really nice, and waiting for a drink is hardly the worst thing in the world. Restrooms were very clean which I really appreciated
Talk about hustle on Thanksgiving. This Starbucks is a well oiled machine. The girl who took out order was so friendly, while the line was building she was cool under pressure. The girl calling out the orders could not have been sweeter. She also let us know it’s the busiest Starbucks in TEXAS and top 5 in the world! WOW! She’s was so passionate about the company. With all that traffic I noticed how small the cafe is. I really hope they get a bigger store eventually so they can run even more efficiently and have a little more space for everyone working and the customers in the cafe.
They do a god job and the service was above average for speed. We travel the United States and this one was faster then others who had no line.
Went in today and was busy because of pumpkin. I also love pumpkin so I went and got myself a cold brew. So good! The girl at the window, Abi was so nice! She made me feel welcome. THE line was kinda long but I didn’t even notice the time I spent there. Will come back.
Love this starbucks. I always stop by on my way through from College Station and I love this location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. I love a lot of caramel in my coffee and Savannah made my drink perfectly.

This starbucks is right next to the HEB and has a drive through. During rush hour there is typically a large line so it’s probably better to walk in.

Confused at first! It’s a bank and also a Starbucks. Hard to tell from the outside. But what’s nice is it’s not connected inside. When you get in it’s a normal Starbucks. Leah helped me and service was good. As they were trying to help another customer figure something out, she went ahead and took my order. Def try out this interesting duet. The quality that comes out of this store is on par for Starbucks. My main complaint is bastrop really needs another Starbucks. Have never drove by this Starbucks and not seen a line that wasn’t out in the main drive lane of HEB. Don’t want to say they need more employees or need to work harder as I always see the staff busting tail. Just really think bastrop needs another location to keep up with the amount of ppl.

Either Starbucks in Bastrop is wrong – or the Starbucks app is wrong… Either way, the Bastrop Starbucks policy is to blame the customer. I ordered a coffee traveler at 5:58 AM this morning on the Starbucks App. The App said to expect the traveler to be ready in 7-10 minutes – probably because it takes about 7-10 minutes to brew the coffee. Then the app displayed a message saying my order would be ready at 6:09AM. I showed up at 6:13 AM to get my order and was greeted with a smug, “It takes 30 minutes to brew a traveler.” So, I showed her the message on the app, to which she replied, “That’s not accurate.” So, I asked for a coffee while I waited for my coffee – to which she replied, “Sure, step up to the register and order one.” I noticed that only then did another barista grab a traveler and started brewing my coffee – and it was ready 7-10 minutes later. It feels weird to buy $21.65 of coffee and be treated like an annoyance rather than a customer. I’m guessing the reason the app told me 7-10 minutes is because the Starbucks Corporation knows that’s how long it takes to brew a traveler in almost every Starbucks that is not located in Bastrop, Texas. Update: 12/12/2025 I ordered another traveler and showed up 30 minutes as the store previously instructed as opposed to the Starbucks App suggesting it would be ready in 7-10 minutes. - I placed the order at 7:25AM. - The Starbucks app said the order would be ready by 7:32 AM. - I showed up at the store at 7:55 AM (30 minutes after the order). Not only was the order not ready - they hadn't even started on it yet. And it was obvious that the only reason they started on it was because I was there and asking for my traveler. There was no apology. No offer for a cup of coffee while I waited. Such horrible service at this store.
I usually enjoy Starbucks, but my last two visit was a letdown. I ordered a Hazelnut Oat Milk Iced Coffee, and it was literally about 90% ice. There was barely any actual coffee in the cup—it felt like I paid for a full drink and got a watered-down sample instead. My wife ordered a Caramel Frappuccino, and hers wasn’t much better. It seemed like too much ice was used there as well—there was hardly any flavor, just a bland, icy texture. We both left feeling pretty disappointed. If I’m paying premium prices, I expect consistent quality and flavor—not just a cup full of ice. Hoping Starbucks addresses this because this kind of experience really takes away from the brand's reputation.

Never made a review before and first time at this starbucks and have been disappointed for the first time. Walked in for my mobile order around 7:30am and the girl who was putting out the mobile orders didn’t greet, smile, not even a hi. a simple “what’s your order name” then pointed to my items. She looks young and i’m in my 20’s. I would never work customer service like that. ordered the banana bread matcha. Where is the cold foam?.. It tasted awful and i should’ve taken a picture of the clumped cookie crunch topping settled in the bottom. I’ve had the banana bread matcha twice before this and this simply wasn’t it. Ordered two drinks. Drove 5 miles and found out instead of coffee, they chai tea. Drive back and returned them. No apologies, no comment. Told the person who took the order that is was a big inconvenience but no one cared. Just gave us the correct drinks. Very poor customer service
Im not one to ever make a review but today I was extremely disappointed. I ordered my regular a venti brown sugar shaken espresso with an extra shot of espresso and I got the entire cinnamon container the drink was completely dark and so thick, I don't know how they didn’t notice then. I totally understand how busy it gets. But to make this big of a mistake I just don’t understand. When I went back to tell the staff, they were very dismissive about it and were ignoring me. When the employee told the other one about she said oh I was wondering where the top was at and showed the empty container how do you notice theres not a lid and assume its someones drink.
We ordered a iced caramel brulee latte and a hot caramel brulee latte with oatmilk. When we got our coffee they were both hot, and I wasn't able to say anything at first because they walked away fast. I was going to just accept the hot coffee until I realized one of them was only filled halfway, that coffee was half coffee and the other half whipped cream. So I decided I will just have it fixed to what I originally ordered. As im waiting for mine to be fixed, my dad was saying how his tasted nasty, so I tried it and it didnt have an ounce of caramel flavor. It tasted like regular coffee with only a milk and coffee taste, as if they forgot to put the caramel brulee syrup in, which I wouldn't be surprised.
This is my third time to this starbucks. Every time there has been about 5 to 7 cars in the line and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes. I will not be visiting this location again UPDATE - when I went to check out for my large iced tea I asked if I could do a tap to pay. The lady said yes and handed me the card reader which I quickly tapped. As I tap the screen I noticed the charge said $9 and something cents. I told the lady something was wrong with the charge and she showed me a copy of the receipt. She said I must have accidentally tapped a $5 tip on a $3 drink. I will give them the benefit of the doubt but I was careful not to touch the screen and this is highly suspect that a $5 tip was added for a $3 and something sent drink.
This place takes forever and consistently gets my order wrong. But it takes them so long to make it in the 1st place I dont have time to ask for it to be remade. Either hire more help or move to a bigger location. There is enough traffic at that location to warrant either of those solutions.
Saturday p.m. I went inside to get our drinks, and we got two of the worst constructed drinks we have EVER received. The mocha frap had tiny bits of chocolate throughout & was almost impossible to drink as a result. The salted caramel frap had a gummy layer of caramel floating on top and no whipped cream (& was served with a flat top! I know which person made them. It was busy, yes…but really!
The audacity this staff has ! So now it’s a store policy to not be able to breastfeed your child ? I’m very cautious of how I breastfeed around people , and the way I was treated for doing so was very inappropriate! Mind you I was not showing any skin , you could only see I was breastfeeding because of the way my baby was positioned. The staff member ask me to cover up “ a little bit more “ if I would have done that my baby we be suffocating??? Proceeds to say it was a store policy ? OK I put my order in with her and & the same employee, i had two matchas w/ my order she was telling me that she couldn’t give them to me bc they didn’t have a sticker w/ my name & that she couldn’t find the order & i kept telling her that they were mine so we were going at it .
I am extremely disappointed with my most recent experience at this Starbucks location. I ordered a macchiato and accidentally received a hot version instead of the iced one I intended to order. When I politely asked the barista if there was any way it could be made iced, she looked at me with an attitude and bluntly told me to pay for another drink. Not only was this rude, but it showed a complete lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, but it is absolutely unacceptable to treat a customer in such a dismissive and disrespectful way. What makes this worse is that this is not the first unpleasant experience I’ve had at this store. I have noticed multiple times that sandwiches are tossed carelessly onto the counter instead of being handed to customers properly, often leaving them messy and unappetizing. Drinks are consistently watered down due to excessive ice, and the overall quality has been very disappointing. I also work at a coffee shop, so I understand how busy and stressful shifts can be, but that is never an excuse for poor treatment of customers. A simple level of courtesy and care can make all the difference, and unfortunately, that seems to be completely lacking at this location. Employees represent the brand, and their actions directly affect whether customers want to return. Experiences like this ruin people’s mornings, and I strongly believe management should address the lack of professionalism and respect being shown here. I truly hope Starbucks leadership takes this feedback seriously, because as a loyal customer in the past, I have been left extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with this location’s service.
If you want to know why Starbucks’ revenue continues to drop quarter after quarter, this location is a great example. The staff that works here is an embarrassment to true skilled baristas. Slow and incompetent service. I stopped drinking their coffee products because the quality and consistency has fallen off a cliff. I ordered a black tea and was given an iced coffee. I ordered a green tea and waited 20 minutes. I am done with Starbucks.
We consistently place online orders for the same items, however it frequently tastes different. The app very rarely accurately updates, so there’s no communication as to whether the order is actually ready. Today, I ordered food, app said order was ready and wasn’t told until I asked if it was ready that in fact this store is out of the item. Poor service overall with the high price tag that is Starbucks. No value and not worth it. I’ll go to the local coffee shop that knows my order when I pull in the parking lot and is working on it when I walk in.
