K-2 is always on point!!!! The southwest egg rolls are some of the best I have ever had. Can’t go wrong with a steak either. They always have fresh delicious sides and their salads/soup are also very tasty!

Outstanding. Another hidden gem in Bay City. Food portions are out of control. Very reasonable, and everything was quite delicious. Kids say its yummy. Rolls, check. Salad, check. Soup, check. Then dinner.... We'll be back!

It is great. Just need to bring back the salad and potato bar with the soup and rolls. I miss that a lot. I would much rather build my own salad and baked potato.

Good steakhouse serving angus steaks. Also, one of the few places you can order liver where it's not cooked to the consistency of shoe leather. My only complaint, they should bring back the unlimited salad bar like the pre-covid days.

The chicken fried steak is good - large portion, crispy batter and not greasy, the meat tasted good and was tender. The cream gravy was good - didn't taste like it came from a mix. Salad bar was fresh. The sides we chose were not that great though. Fries were just regular/frozen type, which would have been fine but they didn't seem fresh, a little chewy and flavor wasn't great. The mashed potatoes weren't instant but had a flavor/seasoning added that wasn't familiar to me, nor expected in mashed potatoes - I almost want to say it was vinegary. We drove about 50 miles to try it out because it was highly recommended. If we were local, I'd probably go again to try some other sides but doubt we will return.

Great deal for a family meal with excellent service. The HVAC system needs an update. The air was so musty, stale, and smelled of old fried food. That was the inly negative, everything else was great, especially the dinner rolls!

We arrived for lunch as they were opening and the line of people coming in was our first indication that this place was good. The salad bar was fresh and had a good variety of items, including different salads like potato, pasta, and pea. The ranch dressing was very tasty. The rolls rival Texas Roadhouse, they are that good. They arrived fresh and hot. I had the 10 oz ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. My steak was cooked perfect and was seasoned good and it was juicy. The potatoes and zucchini were good as well. My husband had the prime rib and he said it was seasoned well and juicy. He also had the loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. Overall we were very happy with our meal and would definitely stop by again.

Very nice staff. The restaurant is awesome decked out in really cool Texas and Indian decor. I recommend a trip to the salad bar and the chips and queso!! We also got the steak and hamburger both very very good options. This place won’t let you down.

Stopped for an early dinner before a meeting. The food is good steakhouse fare. Spouse started with the Maragorda oysters, which he said were okay. They were well presented in little shot glasses on ice. He really enjoyed the pork chops - 3 cut thin (<1/2"), which were seasoned & cooked to perfection. We were seated in the dining section, which is past the initial seating area that seems like a bar. It was the first table as you walk in, and I wouldn't recommend it. Too close to the drink station & traffic path. The waitress was friendly & admitted to being new. She had an annoying habit of repeating what we ordered rather loudly. But otherwise, service was prompt. Recommended for a good dinner.

6-14-24 Came here for the first time because the other grill next door didn't look too appetizing 😂 The waitress we had was very nice! The southwestern egg rolls were great. My baked potato was done really well, too! The fried catfish and fried shrimp platter was not good to me at all. The catfish was that old wild big catfish that tastes really coarse. The fried shrimp was not flavorful at all, and it wasn't fried enough. I'm glad that I didn't go to the salad bar. As they were closing, one of the male staff members, who didn't have gloves on, was just throwing the 🥬 and other things in bigger containers to save. 🤮 Being from South Louisiana, it was really hard to find anything appetizing in the Bay City area. The people are friendly, though.

I was really looking forward to trying this place out, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The wings were a major letdown - they were soggy, underseasoned, and just plain disappointing. The burger was mediocre at best, it was cooked okay but lacked any real flavor. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that the service was friendly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.

Service from waiter Ashley sucked had to ask several times for basic things to be brought to table like bread then told that I need to understand that she is busy with 2 tables with ppl in section. Complaint went nowhere unfortunately. Owner never reached out either about horrible service. Don’t recommend unless u take out which again is unfortunate.

Ordered the seafood platter that included oysters. After receiving my plate and not having my oysters they tell me they don’t have any in the restaurant (not available). No mention of this when I ordered. Kind of upsetting but was more upsetting that the guy acted like it was normal and walked away after telling they didn’t have them. If the are part of the $40 platter and not available, you should make that clear when asked to order the meal that should include them. Bill was paid in full and fair tip left but won’t ever eat here again!

We visited here recently (my first time). My first impression was that it was very dated and did not seem or feel clean. It is dark and uninviting and nothing like any steakhouse I have ever visited. The tables are set up in different areas and it feels very institutional. The cover on the table was a huge turn off for me and felt more like a retirement home kitchen than an actual restaurant. The iced tea was weak and watered down, nor were the glasses very clean. The food looked decent but was bland, my steak was not cooked properly (I ordered rare and it was medium), and the vegetables were overcooked. The chicken fried steak was bland and more breading than steak and the gravy was also very bland. The overall experience was disappointing. Our server was friendly enough but she was not vibrant or engaging at any point as you would expect someone in food service to be. Definitely will not return.
