This place is great! And with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The food is consistently good, especially the tender meat and sauces, and the menu stays simple and focused. Service is friendly and efficient, making it a great spot for a quick bite. Overall, it’s a solid choice for quality food and good service in a casual setting.
Don't sleep on the doner sandwich here. Here's why: 1️⃣ Overall, it's a flavorful & filling sandwich. The yogurt sauce SLAPS and the portion is very ample. There is sooo much meat in this thing (I got beef). No sides needed. 2️⃣ The veggies make the sandwich sing. Sure, there could be more of it as you approach the end of the sandwich which becomes meat heavy, but it might also be tough bc the bread is kind of like a pocket and only so much is going to fit inside. I did especially love the ribbons of pickled red cabbage. 3️⃣ The bread. Oof. It's not too thick it's also not too thin, yet it's strong enough to hold the sandwich together yet chewy enough to be tender at each bute. What's more, it has the tiniest amount of toasted sesame yet it manages to come through in every mouthful. 👏 4️⃣ For a loaded sandwich, mess is expected. But, this was a pretty neat eat. I got this on takeaway and it was still warmly wrapped in sturdy foil + parchment which made this easy to hold without getting myself messy. The sandwich also came in this cute triangular box and bag. Really thoughtful and sleek design. ⭐ For the connoisseurs out there, this isn't your traditional doner, which is layers of meat and fat, but the meat is still flavorful and it's overall a tasty sandwich.
Great experience. Döner wrap mixed tasted great. Be sure to ask for extra sauce if you are a sauce lover. It definitely hit the spot. I just want to point out the black napkin they provide is a very nice touch. I recommend to all!
This place is so good. I eat her all the time and I usually bring a group of friends! My name is Amber and the people who work here also really awesome as well! I can’t wait to eat here again and again and again.
It's all I could ever ask for. With just five options on the menu, it's wonderfully simple. I tried everything DönerHaus has to offer, including their two majestic sauces: "spicy" and "garlic." You literally cannot go wrong with any of the options. Each serving is approximately 6oz of meat, and you might even get a little more if you choose the "mixed" option (chicken and beef combined). The texture, flavor, juiciness, tenderness, and amount of spices are all perfectly balanced, creating a marvelous taste that will truly make you come back for more. If you're into protein and semi-healthy food, they also have a perfect option: a salad and meat box featuring incredibly fresh ingredients. Overall, I'm excited! I usually lower my expectations so I'm never disappointed, and this time I'm positively surprised and thankful that there's some really good competition now on Main Street of Bell Blvd. They're even open until 12 AM or even 2 AM, depending on the day of the week! I hope they'll stay open for a very long time and never skimp on quality just to save a few cents. My last words are: GET THE SPICY PEPPER. I know it's extra, but it's worth it at the end of the day. Oh, one more thing, as Steve Jobs would say. That is my request, as well as those of others with whom I have spoken. Add a sink for washing your hands. I know it won't be simple, but you have the perfect place. It can be quite small and flat on the wall, but we don't get sticky hands afterwards.
A true Berliner girl (born & raised) in Berlin, Kreuzberg where the Döner Kebab in this style originated is rating the Döner. It is hands down the best one in the US. I have lived in the US for over 27 years and tried many Döners from coast to coast. The one in Venice Beach, LA was also good, but this one came closest to the one in Germany. Well done! Bread needs to be a bit warmer and please offer lamb meat. Flavor on the meat always add a bit salt and pepper and garlic sauce nerds to be rubbed inside the bread before all items are added. Garlic sauce was outstanding. Ashley in the front is excellent and so friendly. Great staff and customer service. I live in Maryland and will be back! Dankeschön 🇩🇪🇹🇷🇺🇸
Came for the grand opening, well worth the wait! The kebab was SO flavorful, really stoked I don’t have to wait til I’m in Europe to get my fix anymore. You’ve definitely got a new regular customer! 😎 Update: 3rd time in 7 days! Clearly, I have a delicious problem!
Amazing food. You’re not going to another place like this and getting your sandwich STUFFED. Great vibes and staff super nice. Made my 3 little kids feel super special when they enjoyed their meals.
I love coming here late nights after hanging out on bell! One of the few restaurants still open after 11pm. The mixed sandwich and the chicken salad box is my favorite. Staff is exceptionally nice and friendly.

Went with my husband today and got the doner box with fries while he got the doner beef sandwich. Both were amazing and exceeded our expectations!! Fries are well seasoned, thin and crispy. The bread for the sandwich was also really good. 💯 Definitely will be back and probably one of our new favorites on bell 😋😋😋
Amazing food. You’re not going to another place like this and getting your sandwich STUFFED. Great vibes and staff super nice. Made my 3 little kids feel super special when they enjoyed their meals.
Ordered the chicken warp. The size was unexpected. It is very large and filling. Even with the big portion, the quality was great. The meat was fresh and well-cooked. The logo is hilarious!
Doner Haus is an absolute gem. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, every bite hits. Portions are generous, meat is juicy, and the sauces take it to another level. Staff is super friendly, espically Matt who took my order and answered all questions I had about the menu. The spot is clean and quick. Easily one of the best eats in Bayside. Highly recommend.
We were working locally and spotted this beautiful location. So my crew and I stopped in to give it a shot. The place was spotless which is always ehat I look for first. The food was amazing. Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. 10/10 definitely coming back. Oh and the staff was friendly and efficient as well.
The doner was *so* good — savory, wrapped just right, and packed with flavor! I loved the pickled red onions and red cabbage with the salad inside. And don’t skip the fries — they’re thin, crispy, and seasoned just enough. Perfect combo with the gyro! If you need something that totally hits the spot after a long day, stop by and grab one. So yummy — you’ll want to come back again for sure!
Store opening took forever, but it was worth the wait. Glad to have a kebab place near home and the food is always tasty and consistent. Definitely a go to on a weekday or weekend night.

We were really happy to see one more halal spot on Bell Blvd. We went in on the 2nd day after their grand opening. They only had beef doner available that day. We had a doner box with over fries and salad. Doner sandwich and diner wrap. Everything was well made. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the portion size is good. We were not able to finish our order. We also tried chicken doner sandwiche, mix doner sandwich, and mix doner box on international kebab day. We also had their baklava. Overall, nothing really crazy its pretty basic, well cooked doner kebabs with good customer service.
Doner House in Bayside has a large, affordable menu with quick service and halal-friendly options. I tried the mixed chicken and beef doner sandwich—chicken was decent (7/10), beef a bit dry (6/10), and both were served room temperature when they should’ve been hot. The meat also felt under-seasoned, missing that bold flavor you'd expect from good doner. The sandwich comes in a thick, toasted pocket-style pita that eats more like a sandwich; for me, it was too dense and could use some oil or seasoning to enhance the taste. Despite the flaws, it’s still an above-average spot with potential, especially if they fine-tune the execution.

The food was fine, definitely filling. Didn’t hit the spot the same as döner from Germany but it’s as good as it gets here. I will say that the presentation of the döner box did not look very good, just resembled a box of slop. The food is not arranged as shown in the pictures on the menu (arranged neatly in rows). The meat was at the bottom, salad in the middle, and French fries on top, which were sad and soggy. Don’t really recommend getting the box if you wanted to save leftovers for later, it’ll just get soggier and mushy. The seating area was also quite dirty, it should be cleaned up and maintained more frequently.
- a tad overpriced $14+ for just the sandwich but they do give alot of meat. But .29 extra for chili flakes after a 14$ ??? Come on. Might as well charge me extra for the bag and napkins. -nothing special other than the shape. The shawarma tastes just like the ones from king shawarma 2 blocks away - bread was super dry, I think they should perhaps choose a different kind or grill it. Tastes like a thin roll from a bodega. -I think the veggies tasted bland probally from a bag and not watery (fresh) I could be wrong. I think Romain would do it more justice. - tried once to see the hype, probably wont be coming back. It’s missing something….perhaps a sauce? It’s like 60% there. Still overall not a bad sandwich. 6/10

I got a box with mixed meat over rice. It's not that good, overpriced. I would not come back. But the employees are nice. If I compare it to excellent, true doner, which can be found in Western Europe, it's REALLY bad. There is a good place in Detroit. Plus, apart from the food, I have gripes with the owners. I absolutely despise their logo and signage. It is awful, cheapens our neighborhood, and is pretty ugly. What were you thinking when you decided to use this logo in a family neighborhood? And make it ridiculously big compared to other stores' signage? It's an eyesore. I think residents should call them and the landlord out for this.
We ordered the beef sandwich, chicken sandwich, fries, and a chicken wrap. Unfortunately, my wife’s chicken sandwich had a raw piece of chicken inside. This is extremely concerning from a food safety standpoint. I’ve attached the receipt and photos showing the raw chicken as proof. Accidents can happen, but serving undercooked chicken is unacceptable. This completely ruined the experience and made us question the kitchen’s quality control. We hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves food safety, because this should never happen.

This is our third time purchasing from this location. First two time were alright third time was horrible. We ordered two sandwiches and the box with fries. The sandwich was soggy and no meat was in either in the box or the sandwiches. Poor quality considering the price increase. We never want to comeback and purchase food from here again. My money is all wasted spending from this location.
