My new favorite restaurant! I decided to stop by while out and about over the weekend. You can tell there is a lot of history with this restaurant. They have been around for some time. I had been craving tacos which were delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh. The chips and salsa were also really good. The service was fabulous. Everyone was nice and friendly. It wasn’t busy which was shocking since they are so good and you can’t beat the cost. I look forward to visiting Rosie’s again very soon.

I like to call this place ‘Country Tex Mex’... its slightly different than what you’d normally see, but still good! I got the Migas and added chorizo and queso to it... Beans were good with nice texture, potatoes were semi-mashed and the salsa had a really nice kick!

The best overall restaurant in Austin area for any type of food! Fantastic family owned and run business. So nostalgic it’s like stepping back into the 70’s-80’s

Soooo good! The picadillo taco-delicious. Rich savory flavor. The pastor plate-also delicious. The breakfast potatoes are the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had.

Rosie’s is absolutely the best Tex-Mex restaurant there is hands down! It’s definitely a hole in the wall but the food is authentic and I have been coming here since I was 9 months old. Such good food!

Great food, great service. Real mom and pops kinda place. Staff very friendly. Food was delicious and not too expensive, and came in large portions. Would definitely recommend and will probably be coming back.

What a great Austin experience. Old Austin family owned and operated. Great food and service. They still make you feel like family while you're there. Support local restaurants go have a Willie's plate.

Hidden Gem outside of Austin. Tamales are like a pork stew filled tamale and are delicious. Cheese enchiladas were not the best because of the cheese used. Red sauce is more of a ranchero sauce; very good. Salsa and chips are great! Chicken Taco was amazing!!

Been going to Rosie's since before I was born. A picture of me is hanging on the wall at the age of two and another one with my family at the age of eight. I had not been in 16 years prior to last week, and I'm happy to report the food is just as good as I remembered - no decline in quality whatsoever! Juan was our server and he did a marvelous job. With all the changes in and around Austin, it is wonderful to see something that has remained constant!

When we arrived we picked are table out and sat are favorite beverage at the table along with a couple of fresh limes. Decided to visit the restroom and wash are hands when we returned to are table are waiter approached the table with are Carona lights in a nice pale of ice and the limes sliced up into tiny pieces. The food was excellent and the wait staff was very friendly. Excellent service.

First time visiting this classic Mexican dinner. Only open for breakfast and lunch, they do it all well! I enjoyed the Migas and my wife went with traditional eggs, bacon and hash browns. Well, be back!

Absolutely not a single bad thing to say. This place is just completely amazing. I have grown up eating Rosie's and it NEVER gets old. Food is just so great. Comes out fresh and hot and it looks so appetizing. To finish such a great meal off, Pralines are sold at the counter when leaving. Be sure to buy multiple for everyone, you will regret it if you dont. Love em. I have yet to find another place that has Pralines anything like these. Me and my family had an amazing time at Rosie's and look forward to the next visit.

It had been a little while since my husband and I had been to Rosie's. The owner/staff there have always been so very nice...and they still are!! The food is amazing! Tuesdays and Saturdays are their "fajitas days"! You must try these...they are scrumptious!!! This is truly a feel-good place!!!

The barbacoa was amazing!!! I enjoyed it soo much with their corn tortillas! Yum! Our waiter (I think he is part of the family that owns the restaurant) he was super nice and attentive. My family and I really enjoyed our time here. Definitely will be coming back!

I grew up at Rosie’s starting in the 70’s. In a swelling Austin, TX environment, Rosie’s has stayed the course. Same atmosphere. Clean. Same flavors. Best TexMex if you’re asking me.

Tonight was our first time coming, we had a wonderful experience. Our food came out to $21 for the two of us and we left full! Normally in austin we’ll pay like $40 total or what not so it was nice to see 20 for a change. Wait staff was short and still were able to get food out in a short amount of time, almost no waiting :)

My husband and I were so pleased to find this restaurant! Warning you have to watch carefully for it, even with navigation. The staff was friendly and attentive. The inside was like a lovely cabin but fairly large. The food took me back to my childhood in San Antonio. Flavorful tamales, just the right ratio of masa to filling. The refried beans were seasoned and smooth. The rice was also flaverful without extra ingredients. My husband's fajitas were sizzled table side, he said it was delicious and tasted home made. We will be returning.

If you want authentic old school homestyle Mexican food, this is for you. We can't see any changes and taste or quality or service in the last 30 years. Lots of pictures of Willie Nelson, what's not to love?

I’ve lived here for 5 years and have driven past this little hideaway many times. Finally remembered to check them out. Great food!! Breakfast tacos with real potatoes not those that come in a bag and cooked until hard like rocks. Lol Tamales... yum! So happy I finally remembered to try this place. Just delicious. And down home friendly, I appreciate that.

Seriously always good! Never had a bad meal here in 17 years!! And get the praline for dessert, they bring it warm and it's so flavorful! Cinnamon, buttery, and just heaven in a small portion that is perfection!! (Ps, you can take some home too!!!❤️)

I have always loved Rosie’s even as a child. All these many years later, they still treat people like families. On March 14, 2022, my mother passed away. My husband took me there for dinner that evening because I wasn’t willing to eat. Despite my bursting into tears multiple times, the dinner was amazing. They ended up comping our entire meal as a condolence to us. I am so very thankful for the Rosie’s family and their amazing food.

Rosie's is probably my favorite place to eat ever! Been going here since before I can remember with my family. I'm pretty sure the same people have worked here for forever. Yeah the decor hasn't changed and it's kinda dumpy and they don't serve alcohol blahblahblah. IT DOESN'T MATTER! Rosie's is the best and even after moving slightly far away, I still come back! Thank you Rosie's for being so consistent and delicious!

I cant believe I've never been here. Greeted immediately walking in the door. I love the atmosphere and I love seeing the memories of family photos on their wall. I will 100% be coming back here. Im not in to all the flashy new places. Places like this make you feel at home! Easy to miss but it will be hard to pass up from now on.

This place is always the best! Fajitas on Saturday and Tuesday only but the best you can buy. The Willie's plate is the best combination plate ever at Mexican restaurant. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Still going strong after 40+ years! But BYOB if you need an adult beverage. Stop in and you will see it is the best!

Our friend Hail took us to Rosie’s on our trip to Austin. It exceeded expectations. Food was delicious, excellent service, and great music! Maria was our server and she did a phenomenal job. This place reminds me of the good old days in my grandparents church basement having pot lucks. The atmosphere is simple. The staff, is the friendliest you'll find. We called ahead to see if we could still be seated. They ended up getting a table ready for us without any reservations. They don't serve booze, but you can bring your own. The queso is fantastic, the tamales are really tasty as well. Simple mexican food. Great people.

My daughter and I stopped here to eat on our way to Marble Falls three years ago. I alway order cheese enchiladas but my daughter never was that fond of them. My daughter tasted mine and ended up eating half . We talked about this place for months. My daughter is no longer with us but I’m hoping to get back in that area next spring. If so , I won’t heave the area til I stop for those awesome enchiladas .

10/18/2025 my first visit to Rosie's was in the mid 1990's, and as if frozen in time, it's pretty much exactly the same now as it was then. That is actually quite an achievement for a restaurant, as many do not even survive that long. The long term appeal is your first clue that Rosie's knows Mexican food, and people like it. Give it a try and see for yourself. I think it's great.

We visited Rosie's for the first time and had an extremely welcoming experience. We ordered a queso and selected from the entrees recommended to us, and our waiter ended up bringing over some of the other items we were contemplating so we could try them (at no charge!) We ended up trying the beef fajitas, carne guisada, tamales, and sour creme enchilada. The service and hospitality was incredible. Can't wait to visit again and highly recommend you try it, too.

An Austin classic. I can't say enough about Rosie’s. I grew up eating in it with my parents and now take my family. We always leave happy, full and satisfied! Staff is always happy and helpful. Even when they are busy they check on you. You never feel ignored here. And reasonably priced for a family dinner.

Not JUST TAMALES! Excellent Mexican Restaurant. Rosie’s Tamale House is located on Highway 71 near Shops at the Galleria andBee Cave Sculpture Park. It is not very impressive to look at from the outside. We have seen the place as we drive by and decided to stop for lunch. It is a very large and clean establishment with very friendly staff. Joe who took care of us answered all questions and was very helpful. They have a lot more items than just Tamales. There is an extensive menu including most Mexican dishes and children’s menu as well. The chips were crisp and not oily. Salsa was nice and spicy. If you want even more spicy salsa, just ask 🌶️😊. The Tamale plate was flavorful. Rosie’s Sampler plate had a variety of items and was quite enough for me. It was very tasty. We would come and recommend this restaurant highly.

Really enjoyed a Monday dinner here with friends and their extended family. There must have been 30 of us and they were very accommodating. Its byob. The server was incredible and and was right on top of the orders keeping the chips and drinks full. She had a great attitude for having to deal with such a huge party. The food is always delicious traditional TexMex. I only wish I could get by here more often but it's a 30 minute drive for me. Great place to take friends and drinks and sit back and visit.

R

Rosie's has carryout down to a science. We ordered tacos and tamales plates then drove more than 30 minutes to home, the food was still warm when we got home. Tacos and tamales are pretty much as expected but the tacos were unassembled to preserve the shell. There was plenty of food. Their salsa is interesting with a good burn level served with a generous amount of chips. We don't eat at Rosie's often but it's worth the trip.

Been goin to go eat here for several years, but will always had the breakfast tacos to go. This time we eat there. I had breakfast tacos and a side order of pancakes. The pancakes were amazing better then your topical breakfast restaurant that you know. Next time I will be trying something diferent.

Was really good, had the steak fajitas. A little salty, but seasoned well. The sweet tea is really sweet, so next time I'm going get an unsweetened tea and add my own amount of sugar. I'd still recommend it.

D

We got our Christmas Eve tamales from here and they had a great flavor to them. I thought there was just the right amount of spice for a tamale. They are not chocked full of meat so I typically eat 3 for a meal with sides.

C
CRYSTAL DIANE

So I ordered sour cream enchiladas (off menu) and my man braced me for the flavor to come. I payed more than double the tab, then I left a tip - cuz damn🔥 All red salsa ain't easy to get right. I'll be back.

Went in for breakfast. Had the Migas. Very delicious and fresh. Comes with beans and potatoes. All tasty. People in my group had breakfast tacos, including suicide tacos, and the chicken fajita breakfast plate. We were all pleased. The service was fast and friendly. Easy to access off TX 71. Definitely a winner.

I went here on December 23rd to pick up a few dozen tamales for Christmas eve. These guys didn't disappoint. The establishment might not be much to look at but the way they handle a high volume of tamales with above average quality control earns them 4 stars.

J
Jose Rodriguez

We decided to try a new place on the way to Marble Falls and happened to see Rosie's and quickly pulled in. The establishment did have an older vibe to it and as we saw all the photos on the wall, we understood that this place had some history. We were greeted well and quickly seated. They only had one waiter and I believe his name was Joe Cray. We ordered a nachos compuestas as our app and then my wife ordered a combo plate because she had to give the famous tamale a try and I went with a country fried chicken. The nachos tasted amazing! The tortilla part was just a crispy taco broken in half, but it was amazing! My country fried chicken was amazing, the chicken was so tender I didnt need my knife! It could have used a bit more fries and the roll was pretty tiny. Unfortunately my wife was not pleased with the combo plate, the beans had a certain taste to them that didnt go well and the rice seemed to taste the same, like as if the same seasoning was used on both... as for the tamale... I can say I've tasted better, the masa had a darker tone than usual and not a savory taste, but the pork was delicious. The Chili on top of the enchilada and tamale was great too. Overall the food was decent but it definitely could have been better! And as for the service, Joe Cray handled the service in a very friendly and professional manner 100%! Will definitely have to give this place another try next time!

S
Sohail Bhamani

Good, simple breakfast tacos. Okay coffee. Quirky guy taking phone orders. Just call in your order and they remember you by the order. Eaten here about 20 time. Only 4 stars because the coffee is not very good. We usually just get tacos to go now.

T
ThunderShark

I had their tamales. They were a bit small but tasted good. They were way too greasy though. They gave us heartburn. Really good tamales are not super greasy like that and they don't hurt you after you eat them. I do want to try their other food though.

Now please understand that I rate everything subjectively with a common factor of price knowing this let's talk Rosie's. Rosie's is a cute little restaurant and has great food for the price. It's hot and fresh and the atmosphere while dated is definitely still cozy. Staff is nice and the food was served hot and in a timely manner. If you don't have picky eaters in your group taking your elderly family or young kids would make for an affordable and enjoyable night out. While I wasn't super focused tonight I could tell that everything was decently clean the bathrooms were clean as well although they do have a very strange layout. All in all if you are dining on a budget with family this is a wonderful place to go and it is a definite recommendation.

J
Jennifer Yohe Kleinman

We stopped here one morning for breakfast since my husband was raving about the tamales. The breakfast tacos were good, they were generous with the filings. However the tamales were way overpriced. There was barely any meat in them and they were super greasy. Mostly masa and grease. I would not go out of my way to go there but I'd pop in for a taco.

Excellent authentic taste. That chili con carne Enchilada sauce is incredible. Friendly and wonderful family run restaurant. Wish they served margaritas but was an excellent time. They are one of the few that still serve homemade pralines like my grandfather did at El Mat.

Rosie’s has been here for more than 50 years, and decades ago. I used to come here when I was in graduate school. It felt a lot different back then, back then it was a way out in the country and 71 was a two lane very quiet road, instead of a big highway with tons of traffic. It had a certain hole in the wall, country charm, the way the original Salt Lake barbecue did back at the same time. It is traditional Tex-Mex food, like a lot of Tex-Mex restaurants, but the appeal of driving out into the country to go here, Just like it used to be to drive to the county line. Restaurants is different now. I think that has slowed down their business a lot.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is available and adequate. Not crowded so we were seated promptly. Warm chips and spicy salsa are complimentary. We had a half dozen pork tamales and followed them with 2 beef tacos and 2 chalupas compuestas. The pork tamales were savory, warm and not greasy. Tacos were good and the chalupas were better. Service was attentive and friendly. Decor is low budget Mexican restaurant all the way...prices are reasonable. Two soft drinks, the tamales, tacos and chalupas were $34 plus change before tip. Top quality tamales and decent cuisine makes this a good choice for a bite.

K S

Great local restaurant to grab Mexican food. You can either eat in or call ahead for take out. The prices are decent for the area. The portions are typical American size (large). Each table is served with tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa is medium spicy for those who may not enjoy spicy salsa. The staff were very friendly and helpful with dietary restrictions. Several gluten free and vegetarian options were available. Washrooms weren’t that clean or modern.

First time visit. Good that you don't need masks here if vaccinated. 👍Service was a bit slow even though we were almost the last of the lunch crowd. When we got our plates there were still no utensils on the table and took a while to get them. Food was seasoned well and tasty, but tamal and enchilada were "swimming" in sauce. They ran out of charro beans too early in the day (lunch) and refried beans were not the best. We were not told before we got our plates and noticed the switch. 🤔 Not as good experience as I expected. 😞

H

I had high hopes for this place. With a name like Rosie’s Tamale House you would expect some bangin tamales. The food was under seasoned and a little boring. I had to put salt on my tamale for any kind of flavor. My boyfriend ordered a plate that came with store bought tamales /:

c
clarke kiner

Not bad, but not great either. Beef crunchy taco was better than the tamale or enchilada. No real atmosphere - just old tables for four scattered around the room. We expected better from a place that has been around for years. Wish I could speak better of the place!

V
Veronica Torres

I'm assuming this seemingly family owned business has stayed open so long solely on their food because it's definitely not the atmosphere or customer service. The place is old, dim and dingy looking. There were only two servers and only one of them was actually working tables, she was very sweet and helpful by the way. The food took forever and I saw take outs waiting for unreasonably long times too but what made it worse was the obnoxious guy at the register. At first I thought maybe he was the owner but who knows. He was loud and cracked jokes about the long waits trying to make light of it but it obviously wasn't helping. He and the other waitress at one point were shouting across the room at each other about her lack of effort. I guess they thought it was ok because they were speaking in Spanish. They obviously were under the assumption that no one could understand. They were out of a couple menu items that we tried to order. I would have appreciated some heads up on the missing menu items. The plus side, the food was delicious. The tacos were fat and everything was bursting with flavor. I hope this place can clean up their rough edges because I had heard about them and wanted to try for some time and it would be cool to see them survive the test of time but they do need some improvements.

M
Michael Oakes

Went in with a small group of guys from church for breakfast. Parking as plentiful, service was excellent, food was good. What I disliked was when I went to pay (we all paid separately) my meal was supposed to be about $9 and I was charged $13. The guy at the front register just added things in his head. I was in a hurry so I didn’t catch it at the register and not until I was driving home and felt like something didn’t add up. If the menu is wrong, correct it. If the guy at the register can’t add, use a calculator. This was my first time here and left me with a somewhat bad experience. Rating them 3 stars for the food and service but a poor experience for being overcharged.

T
Tyke Callison

So, I actually enjoyed the food. There are no complaints there for a typical Tex-Mex restaurant. The part I wasn't too fond of was that the waiter immediately brought our group several baskets of chips and salsa. We didn't ask. He just brought. Then, on the check, every person in our group was charged $1 for the chips and salsa. There were 10 of us. On top of that, a $2 tip was added in on the check as well. While you're paying at the front, then they ask for another tip. If you ask about the $2 tip being automatically added in, the guy pretends not to hear. Happened to a couple of us in the group who asked about it.

I loved the cafe atmosphere and the service was amazing. Unfortunately, since prior visits, the food was really not good. Tamales had very little flavor, the chili rellenos had celery in it, and the chicken fried steak batter did not stay on the meat at all. With a little more attention to the food, this place could be great.

E
Eric Hamm

Salsa tastes more like ketchup. Place has old school early 90s Mexican restaurant feel. Beef taco was very unremarkable, like those El Paso home crispy tacos you made on family night. Staff seems nice but I only been here once and likely will not return.

J
Jonathan Reese

Nachos were taco shells broken in two with some of the most bland toppings I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The waitress mixed up the order, vanished, and we never saw her again. And country music is played very loudly in the dining area. Which is to say, it's not for me. I'm sure it was for the 30 or so other 60+ year old patrons. But not for me.

V
Vivi Sasaki

This place is dated. It's like walking into an old movie set, in a bad way. Everything is "as is" 50 years ago. I had a shrimp platter that tasted like it came out from cans. The main dish was very salty. My husband thinks their tamales are good. I wonder how restaurants like these stay open when there are so many good restaurants around.

R
Rob J

Was in Austin on the weekend from San Antonio to visit family. Found this as the nearest breakfast taco place. My review is based on this one visit. First the good. The staff was friendly and had my order correct and ready to go. The tacos were filled. However, the breakfast tacos were below mediocre. The biggest complaint i have is the tortilla. It tasted store bought. The tortillas were chewy and waxy. They should be soft and taste fresh. That’s critical for any place that serves breakfast tacos. The tortillas have to be made from scratch in house. I’m not 100% sure if they’re store-bought or not because. But they don’t taste homemade. Second was the salsa. There was no spice to it. It was very light red and mostly just tomato and onion I could taste. It should have had at least some kick to it and flavors beyond just tomato and onion. Do they put chilis in the salsa when they cook it? It didn’t taste like it. The actual fillings were ok I guess. Mediocre fillings. Bad tortilla. Bad salsa. Overall I didn’t think it was good. Maybe the tamales are their specialty.

Been here often...though I think I won't return. The service has always been hot or miss. Today...big miss! Wrong food to our table, then many requests before water was filled. Then food was again wrong when it came..I ate half and wanted to leave. Finally...5 people waiting to check out and the guy is talking on and on plus then goes into the kitchen for whatever reason. Poor service. Med food

We used to enjoy Rosie’s monthly, always had authentic tasty Mexican classics. Stopped for breakfast this morning, the server told me they did not have the Barbacoa. Pastor, or Carnitas despite being on the menus. I tried the beef fajitas, and they were lacking in flavor. It appears the restaurant changed ownership and the food variety and quality has gone downhill. I’ll give them another try, but a massive improvement is needed .

My husband and I embarked on a long-distance weekend getaway to the Lakeway Resort and Spa, where we decided to dine in at this near by establishment. We were eager to experience this new dining option. Upon entering, I was greeted by an elderly gentleman who was courteous and informed us that we were welcome to choose any seat we desired. As we approached the rear seats, my husband, a military veteran, expressed discomfort with being seated with his back facing the front, as it would restrict his view of his surroundings. However, a female employee interrupted us with an unprofessional and rude demeanor, informing us that the area was closed for seating. Despite the gentleman’s earlier assurance that we could sit anywhere, she persisted in stating that he was unaware of the situation which her words exactly were “ He doesn’t know anything “ and that we should sit in the front. Her behavior prompted us to leave the establishment, as we were unable to enjoy a meal due to the incompetence of an employee.

It's my second time. Someone in charge is in cost cutting mode. 2 pieces of bacon does not mean 1 piece cut in half!! Lemons to cover up the chlorine smell of the water were all dried out. Flavorless beans from a can....."salsa" that's just watery tomatoes......watered down coffee. Never again.

Was a bit disappointed with their tamales. Had one to try and it was small with hardly any meat in it. The flavor was good just wish it had meat in it to actually add to the flavor. I’m a big tamale fan and very picky when it comes to eating them. Maybe I’ll try again some day and see if they change and they add more meat to the pork ones I tried.

Recently ordered some food for pickup. Had been going here for a very long time. It was unfortunately a joke what I found in my to go bag when I got home, so little meat on what I ordered, like ridiculous. I know the restaurant business has been in tough times, but there is a point where the food product needs to meet an acceptance level and I think they knowingly skimped on my food, like just a sliver of meat. Probably will never return after many years. Big disappointment.

So many memories about Rosie’s! Food excellent, proper chips, and good Queso are still here. However the overwhelming smell of rodent urine in the vestibule stayed with me with every bite. I suggest building a new simple building for this long time Lake Travis hang out.

I am not critical by nature, but to give an honest review - this was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten, and I have lived in Arizona and Texas a total of 28 years. Too salty. Sour cream enchiladas were dry, tortillas of bad texture. Tamales had something like gravy on them instead of the advertised chili con carne. The building needs a re-furb - 50 year old paneling, saggy drop ceiling. Best part was the cheerful waitress. Flores in Dripping Springs much better alternative.

I would give it zero stars if it was possible... It seems their Tamales are as old and tasteless as the restaurant and their customers. Not to be harsh but there isn't anything remotely remarkable or even average about the food. I ordered the infamous Tamales (I say infamous because, how can something so bad be famous?) with Chilli con carne... My God it was like eating dog food with cheese and onions on top. Then hearing the cashier arguing with his wife on the phone and shouting curses all around is not a particularly fun experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone except somebody who's palate is burnt and has no understanding of Tex Mex cuisine.

Gratuity charge was near $30. Waiter most unfriendly and food delivery was very slow. They've been in business far to long. I never plan to return. At least not for years and I'd need to be pretty desperate for food. Wanted a good meal paid all in one check for our group to make it easy only to have large gratuity dumped on top of that. In our family the one who pays the check doesn't pay the tip too, everyone else at the table does by leaving cash on the table. That was no fun paying the tab AND FORCED TO PAY THE GRATUITY TOO!! 😟😫

Horrible food, tamales were bad, mushy, no flavor, the salsa tasted like the Pace salsa you buy from HEB. The tortillas from my migas tacos were cold. I ordered a dozen tamales, 3 migas tacos, and two Orange juices. 40$ and some change. More than some good tacos spots in downtown Austin. The receipt the server handed me was different than what I actually paid with the 20% tip I still left. Do not go to this place. It’s horrible. Not even my dogs wanted to eat those tamales, or whatever it really was.

I came here for breakfast. The food was low quality. The pork tamales really isn’t real pork. It’s fake meat. Tamales taste like it’s reheated. Tacos are also low quality. Definitely won’t be coming back!

The food was bland, it had a terrible, unappealing presentation. The tamales tasted like those that are sold at supermarkets and pork filling had the seasoning and texture of coming from a can. The enchiladas were dull, the same canned flavor with an extraordinarily nasty presentation in which the same shade of brown was the predominant color. The kid's menu was also, for sure, made of frozen fries and a low quality sausage that has been on a warming machine for a few days. The ambiance was stalled in the 80s. It seems that repairs everywhere are urgently needed as well as someone to pay attention to their senseless decoration. Please avoid paying for something that will disappoint you. And don't pay with card because they will pass the fee to the customer.

Lisa G Bought tamales on 12/24/23 for that evening. They were sold to us cold, not fresh. I took them out of the refrigerator that evening to warm (in the steamer) they were watery, mushy, I steamed them and only about 5 were decent enough to eat. The rest were mushy and falling apart. So disappointed. $17 per dozen plus tip. Would not ever recommend. I drove all of the way from Liberty Hill. They ended up in the trash!!
