It's expensive, just know that before arriving. For 2 people who ordered one appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, and 1 dessert our bill came to $450ish. That said, we loved our dinner! We specifically went in for steak and were not disappointed. Our app was the bacon wrapped scallops and they were cooked to perfection. The steak I got was the PIEDMONTESE FILET MIGNON which I had never tried before and it was cooked amazingly. Probably the best steak I've ever had. We finished off with the butter cake which was also another amazing dish we didn't technically have room for in our stomachs but was worth it. Our server was James B and he was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and funny! The only negatives are they have an auto gratuity of 20%. I’d expect an expensive place like Daniel’s could afford to pay their servers better, but apparently they don’t want to and it’s up to the customers to do so. Also the cocktails aren’t that great, I’d stick with wine.

Went to the piano bar. The food was delicious. Entertainer on the piano was delightful. Service was top notch.

Beautiful views of Bellevue from where we were seated. My husband and I had a great experience here. He got the bone in rib-eye while I got the Alaskan crab. Wait-staff we’re super attentive and friendly. Overall an amazing experience! Don’t forget to order the oysters on the half shell and scallops as appetizers 😊.

Love the atmosphere. Great food every time and the service is exceptional! We are always so lucky to get a nice comfy couch in the back cocktail lounge and have had the pleasure to get Kara as our server. Shes such a sweetheart. Often the main dining room is packed but the back bar is typically wide open. Primarily a patron/regulars spot but such a great area with amazing views of bellevue and a very cool display of autographed seahawk greats memorabilia around the fireplace mantle. Go Hawks!! We love the tender filet mignon steak and Dungeness crab legs. Sooo delicious and fresh!! The steaks are always perfectly cooked with the highest quality cuts. The Dungeness crab Rockefeller pairs very nicely with whichever steak you decide on. This is one of our favorite spots!!

One of the best fine-dining restaurants in Bellevue. Warm and cozy ambiance with fantastic views all around. Amazing bar with live piano and singing. Food is as good as one would expect for the price. They also have a new plant-based menu that is amazing and delicious. All dishes are fresh and flavorful. The dessert selection is to die for. The attentiveness and quality of the staff is second to none.

We ordered scallops for appetitezer, it was delicious 5/5. The drinks were delicious, i got old fashion 5/5. The main entrée I got was sea bass, fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, the sauce is good but too rich for my liking and maybe lacking some salt 4/5. My fiancée got the filet mignon Daniel's cut 12oz medium rare, it was cooked perfectly inside but way too charred on the outside and it was bland, 2/5. We got a dessert to share, the chocolate cookie with scoop of ice-cream, 5/5. Fantastic view and service. 335 dollars after tax and 20 percent service fee that was auto included.

Daniel's features great views in a charming atmosphere on the 21st floor. The steaks are great and prepared to order. Bacon scallops and spicy shrimp were delicious. Oysters weren't shucked well though. Lots of choices for wine and spirits. Pricey. Great for a special occasion.

Tis the season, to celebrate a new year, with great friends! January is especially important, because it brings in new beginnings and perspective, in life! ✨️ We were lucky to be able to celebrate our dear friend's birthday, at the beautiful Daniel's Broiler Prime Steak & Seafood ( @danielsbroiler ), in downtown Bellevue, WA. It's nice to be able to view the city, all lit up, atop the 21st floor! It felt like we were above the rain! It's so cozy, with top of the line service! We enjoyed scrumptious steaks and seafood, along with incredible appetizers and decadent desserts! This is why I've been going here for years! Their Bellevue location is my favorite! 🥩❤️‍🔥🍽🎂🎉 Happy Birthday Qween!!! We love you heaps!!! #DanielsBroiler #SteakandSeafood #Bellevue #Seattle #localfavorite #dinner #birthdaycelebration #dearfriends #supportlocal #NelzLovesIt

Went here to celebrate mom’s birthday and thought it was a great way to celebrate her since the service was great and the food tasted incredible! Ordered the ribeye steak and it was very juicy and tender. For appetizer, ordered a lobster bisque, which was very creamy. The chocolate cake dessert was by far my favorite! A bit sweet, but it was a great cake with great chocolate flavor. The setting is also very aesthetic. It is on the pricier end, but if you buy the gift cards at Costco, you can save some money.

I went here for my birthday and I have to say that this place really hold up to their reputation of having the best steak in town. I got the steak platter with wagyu and it was the most tender, and flavorful steak I’ve had in a while. Everyone in our table enjoyed their meal. It was a plus that everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. I continue to recommend this place and looking forward to dine here again in the near future.

I’ve eaten at nearly every “fine dining” steakhouse in the greater Seattle area…this filet steak flight was hands down the best steak I’ve eaten. Perfect temperature, perfect flavor. Ended dinner with the chocolate decadent cake and house made PB pie ice cream…I was in heaven. Kara was kind and attentive. There are better dining “experiences” as far as decor/vibes/chef selection type menus, but, what you are coming here for, everything was perfect.

My family had a cozy birthday dinner here. We ordered filet mignon, NY steak, a side of Brussel sprouts and a kids pasta. The steaks were tasty, cooked to our liking. Our child enjoyed her pasta ( I included a picture of the kids' menu as it is helpful for families with children) We had mojito and lavender Martini - drinks were good (not watered down). We had a table by the window but wished we requested for a booth table, which faces the window directly. Overall, this is a nice restaurant with excellent service. Worth going for special celebrations. Tip: Go to Costco to get some gift cards to make the meal more reasonable cost-wise

This place is phenomenally amazing. I just moved to Washington from Texas and during my move, I ordered takeout from here and vowed to come and have dinner here. The view from the lounge is breathtakingly fantastic and you can actually see the Space Needle where I was sitting. Since it was the middle of July and it was absolutely dead, I enjoyed the freedom of no wait and not making a reservation. This was THE BEST Martini I've ever had in my entire life, and that says alot coming from someone who's always skeptical. Payton; Please ask to sit in this cute and sweet little lady's section, she's the one with the adorable pigtails. 💖😊👏👍

Great place and food, one of my favorite restaurants. Love the bar area piano man Jim Washburn. He encourages you sing along with him at the piano.

Starts slow with chain restaurant caliber appetizers, rises to a crescendo with succulent, well-flavored steaks and finishes high with some truly memorable desserts. Seating is a bit odd given restaurant layout, but there are some nice views of the lake and service is talkative and brisk

The dining experience was outstanding in both speed and quality. The bread arrived warm and very fast. All the food items were delicious: the baked potato and french fries were very good, the butter noodles were wonderfully buttery and good, and the garlic bread was toasted to perfection. A special mention goes to our waiter, Derreck (or similar spelling), who was super nice. He also crafted a fun Sprite drink, complete with a very nice cherry on top, which was a lovely touch.

Great place for celebrating anniversary. Beautiful view to Lake Washington and sunset. The pianist plays beautiful songs in bar area and there are stools around the piano that you can sit and enjoy.🥰🥰

Came here for a private event and the food and service was superb. I had the salmon entree that came with delicious mashed potatoes and broccoli, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service was top notch and very attentive. Views at sunset was also beautiful.

Came here for my mom's birthday, was an amazing experience. The appetizers were great, but a bit small in portions for 4 people to share, the wedge salad was delicious, the prawns were fresh, and I loved the lobster bisque but it's salty so eat with bread! We all got steak and it was yummy, they sat us down next to the windows the view is so nice, we got gift cards from Costco so we ended up saving $100 dollars.

I went in a group of 4 for my partner's and I anniversary and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. While it was quite a bit more expensive than I normally go for, I would say it is worth it for the service and atmosphere alone. Our server Travis was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was also very high quality.

Great food and service! You can be overdressed as we found out :) The atmosphere is relaxed and upbeat for such a high-end restaurant! So dess comfortably to enjoy it ;) We had a great time there!

There's not much to say, really. Everything about this place is perfection. The service is top tier, and the steaks are amazing. My favorites are the piedmontese and the 30oz bone-in ribeye. The location is also gorgeous.

If your willing to spend the money, the steaks here are the best west of Wichita. Extremely fine cuts of prime beef. The service is top notch. Sitting on the 21st floor overlooking Lake Washington doesn't suck to be honest. Just be prepared for a $500 check for three people if you order cocktails and wine. My favorite restaurant in the PNW.

We went here to celebrate a birthday. The staff was attentive but not interrupting. As someone who hates "big" birthday recognition, having a quiet treat delivered to the table for the person celebrating was great. The cook on the steaks was perfect. I prefer rare and I haven't had one this good in years. We'll be visiting here again.

Was skeptical at the beginning, surprised by quality of meat and cooking, visited for the first time. Better than other steakhouses in Bellevue, in my opinion. Starters were good as well. Service was flawless. Will come back for meat.

Came for Wedding Anniversary dinner with my husband and service was great. Steaks were good but they definitely undercook more than what you request so either order your steak the next cooked level up or they always have u cut the center to confirm if it's to your liking or send it back to the kitchen to cook more but don't recommend that. It tends to dry out the steak and lose a lot of its juices. Food overall was good but super high in price. Atmosphere and vibe is nice with a nice high view.

Loved everything about my visit at Daniel’s Broiler. It was a special evening with my daughter for a birthday date. The staff was impressive. They allowed my daughter and me plenty of time to catch up. We were breaking in a new waitress and she was fine. Her mentor was a polished waiter and customer advocate. Our service began with an amazing host greeting and seating us. It is hard, it seems by the results of most restaurants, to manage courses but it is possible. DB did just that. Managed our four courses perfectly. My daughter and I spent a little over two hours eating great food and catching up on family stuff, my grandson and planning future visits. The food needs its own space. The wine list is extensive and we saw nothing on this list that was not a good option. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. We both could have ordered another round for dinner but we went with fillets could medium rare with smoke fire. We accessorized that steak with the best creamed spinach ever. The dessert however was not my favorite. That said, people that like egg nog (heavy dosage of nutmeg) that overtook the ice cream. And the name of the dish chocolate ice cream because it was not. However, the “birthday” dessert coconut chocolate fudge sundae. Thank you Daniel’s Broiler for and excellent evening.

Had amazing early dinner! From appetizers to dessert, It was pure happiness. They automatically charge 20% service charge but the service from server could have been better. That's why I only gave 4/5 stars.

Its Bellevue so pretentious and overpriced 😆 but the service makes up for some of the over priced menu items 😋

After parking, finding this place was a little tricky. We were not easily able to find the correct elevator to the restaurant. It is on the 21st floor, to the right of the hotel. Look for the sign outside and a revolving door underneath it. Take the elevators on the left. We had a reservation and we were seated quite promptly. I was stuck with a huge glare from the sun, but the atmosphere is still really quite nice. We started out with the bread and butter. The bread is quite dry, and they did not bring enough butter for the table. This made it very awkward having to share this little amount of butter for the whole table, instead of each person having their own butter. I recommend giving each person their own butter. I got the 16oz ribeye and split it. The ribeye was great. They cooked it perfectly. The black peppercorn sauce is HEAVENLY. I recommend pouring some of this sauce on the garlic mashed potatoes as well. the garlic mashed potatoes don't come with any gravy. For the heavy price, one would think there would be gravy with my mashed potatoes... There are limited sides. Mashed potatoes, asparagus, baked potato, broccolini & sliced tomatoes. No fries? No corn? Great sides to go with steak! We waited over 35 minutes for our food, and were stuck with dry bread and not enough butter. But the food was delicious. Especially because of the black peppercorn sauce. They cooked everyone's steak exactly as requested. They provided the birthday girl with a candle and a couple of macaroons. Really sweet of them to do that. Our server was quite slow with bringing things we requested, like bread, butter, drinks, hot sauce, etc. There was another server named Ryan who really stepped up and helped us out when our server was busy. Props to Ryan. Thank you for that. When paying top dollar for this experience, and a mandatory 20% tip, customers expect excellent service and to receive food in a timely manner. we did not get that. This place should be 5 stars. Could easily be 5 stars instead of 3. very simple and subtle fixes to step it up would make this place amazing. Edit: updating from 3 stars to 4 stars because the restaurant has responded and will be providing the feedback back to the team to try and improve. Thank you for listening to the feedback and I wish you the best of luck. I will be returning in the future.

Great service, and steak. The drinks were good in general and the waiters were helpful and provided options. For starters I had the wedge salad which was tasty, but simple and small. The bread rolls were nice, warm, and fresh. The ribeye was the highlight, tasty and cooked to the right temperature, the side of mashed potato and broccoli was ordinary, but hit the spot. The salmon on the other hand had too much butter which overtook the flavor and it was maybe a bit too cooked. The crème brûlée and lemon bar were ok.

The restaurant is nice and the staff attentive. Parking is available in the garage or at the hotel if you want valet. I really wanted to love all the food, but some items did fall short such as the Ribeye. I am not a huge fan of gloppy stuff on top of my steak... just salt and pepper. I would go somewhere else for a steak. Other items were good, I just wasn't blown away by the food. I did enjoy the dessert assortment. Give it a try. Make up your own mind. Ask for what you want.

Daniel’s Broiler delivers a classic steakhouse experience with upscale ambiance, city views, and polished service that many diners enjoy for special occasions or memorable meals. Steaks here are a highlight, and my favorites include the Piedmontese Filet Mignon and the Flight of Filet Mignon, a sampler of different filet styles both praised for their tender texture and rich flavor profiles. I like the beefsteak tomato salad as a refreshing starter, and from the dessert menu, Daniel’s Butter Cake is a standout sweet finish. The favorites keep me coming back, making repeat visits feel worthwhile despite the restaurant’s premium pricing. The quality is excellent, the service is great, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm with stunning views of the Olympic mountains, downtown Bellevue, and the Seattle skyline. Overall, Daniel’s Broiler is a go-to Bellevue steakhouse for those seeking classic cuts and indulgent desserts in a refined setting, especially if you enjoy filet variations and rich, flavorful dishes.

What a great spot for a date, delicious drinks, appetizers, entrees, and service. I love the sauce for the fish entrees they had. Wasn’t a huge fan of their bread. The drinks were good, super strong. The scallops was amazing. I’d come back!

The GZone's Review of Daniel's Broiler at 10500 NE 8th St Unit #BP2101, Bellevue, WA: On Thanksgiving, my date and I had the pleasure of dining at Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue, and the entire experience was absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a classy place with exceptional steak, great service, and a romantic atmosphere, this is the spot. Located on the 21st floor, the restaurant offers stunning views overlooking the Sound—especially beautiful in the evening. Even with typical wet Seattle weather and heavy traffic that added about 45 minutes to the drive, the moment we arrived, everything shifted into a first-class experience. We waited just a couple of minutes in the bar area, where Olivia, one of the hosts, took excellent care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and made those short minutes enjoyable. Shortly after, another host escorted us to our booth. In hindsight, I should have reserved a window table for a more spacious setting, but even the booth didn’t take away from the experience. Our server, Peyton, along with her team, delivered top-tier service from start to finish. Every request was met quickly, every detail was considered, and she made sure the evening flowed smoothly. That level of professionalism always elevates the meal. For dinner, I ordered the 12oz Wagyu New York steak (medium well) with a salad—absolutely outstanding. My date enjoyed the king salmon with roasted vegetables and potatoes, and she was equally impressed. The flavors, presentation, and quality were everything you expect from a premium steakhouse. From the ambiance to the service to the food, Daniel’s Broiler is a top-notch organization. I highly encourage anyone planning a date night, celebration, or special evening out to make reservations, because they stay busy for good reason. The experience is well worth the wait. If you get the chance to visit Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to Olivia, Peyton, and the entire team for making our Thanksgiving dinner unforgettable. *my personal experience😉

Our 5th anniversary. My wife had never been to a place like Daniel's Broiler. We had a great experience! The food, our waiter Jeffrey, the servers, the manager stopping by. I really appreciate all of you. Thank you!! Sean

For my 1st time is was okay. The steaks were ok . I will say if I'm already paying 100 for a steak why should I have to pay for steak sauce at $8.00 for about 3 ounces. I ordered mushrooms that was an extra $14.00 . They automatically charge you 20% gratuity on your bill. Oh and half oyster was 28.00 and they were very small. It was okay but seriously over priced . I think I would want to do a happy hour here than a full dinner .

We went to Daniels for out daughters 18th birthday. Our server was very good, the service was outstanding. It’s been a while since we’ve been to Daniels and our last experience was excellent. We ordered the 16oz ribeye and was a bit dry and not as amazing as i thought it should have been for $92. My daughter had the 8oz filet and she really liked it. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops which seemed over cooked and a bit rubbery, the popcorn shrimp was very good and the dungeoness crab appetizer which was also very good. I had the Daniels Old Fashioned which was excellent and my wifer had the raspberry lemon drip which she loved. They had mocktails in the menu which our daughter enjoyed. Overall we were disappointed. We came for steak and paid a lot of money and felt it should have been better. Ive had amazing ribeye and this just want that. We will not return.

It was not bad. Atmosphere was 10/10, beautiful, sky high setting and if you get a window seat during sunset, it's perfect. But we found the service to be okay. The support staff that filled up our waters was very attentive. But our actual waiter was not warm and friendly. He made us feel uncomfortable for not ordering a drink (I only drink water) and for not getting an appetizer (I wasn't that hungry). The food was NOT BAD. But not phenomenal either, which is what you'd expect at this price point. We didn't mind the 20% automatic service/gratuities charge, but sometimes this lessens the quality of service/food you receive since the staff already knows they will have a large tip no matter what. The filet mignon was just okay, not the best steak I've ever had. Which what I was hoping for. The baked potato was just a plain baked potato, they put cream cheese and bacon on top, but tastes normal, not super delicious, not bad. For two people, you're looking at at least $350. This is more of a one and done, we got to try it. And now most likely never coming back. There are other steak houses that charge much less for more flavorful foods. The bread rolls and butter they provide is delicious. But nothing better than Anthony's, Lombardi's or Ruth Chris. We arrived earlier when the restaurant was quiet, but by the time we left, we couldn't hear each other across the table. The location here in Bellevue is impeccable, though. Overall, not bad. But a let down for this price point.

Food was ok. I might come back for steak but definitely not the fish… I wasn’t impressed Complimentary bread: 5/10; too sour. Over baked, outside was as crispy as croutons Spinach pecan salad: 8/10; pretty good. Rib eye steak: 9/10, quite good. 16oz was more than enough for one person Halibut: 4/10, too sweet. Everything on the plate was sweet. I wanted a savory dish… Had to force myself to finish at least the fish since the plate was $70

Firstly...give Michelle a raise...she was amazing! All the people were, but we didn't catch all the names. From the host to the busboy! We admit, these were the best steaks we have ever had in our 50 years on this earth. Simply amazing! The appetizers (mainly the artichoke) wow! So, why 4 stars? We were very taken aback by the 20% service fee that went to the restaurant! 20%???? That was $100 of our bill. It's like adding a cover charge to eat at your restaurant. We had no idea, must be in very small print somewhere. I don't think you guys need that fee. I am sure you're doing just fine guy! The other ding was for dessert. The banana pudding and creme brûlée were tasteless. A good banana pudding is thick with vanilla wafers sitting in it over night for a delicious thick and creamy pudding full of flavor. The tried to "brûlée" the bananas like banana's foster which made it even worse. The creme brûlée was only a little charred and had zero flavor. We left both barely touched and had dessert at home.

We’ve been coming for the last 10+ years on Christmas Eve, and the food and service have gone downhill unfortunately. We had a reservation and ended up waiting 20-30 minutes past the reservation time. They apologized but no complimentary beverages or appetizers or anything were offered. Our server Alexis? (Russian guy) was great. Some of the hostesses had attitude. The food was okay. I was appalled to see when looking at the kids menu, a kids cheeseburger was $25. What a joke. We won’t be back. For the price you pay and the service you get, it’s not worth it.

E

I had dinner with my family today, that was my first time, and I bet it is "the last one". Their price is NOT worth it, trust me that you will regret to go. Wasting, so~~~ Wasting. I even leave a message on the receipt. Do not go.

Daniel’s Broiler manages the rare feat of being wildly overpriced and deeply disappointing. The steak? Tough after two bites—chewy in that “did we anger the cow?” kind of way. For a place that brags about beef, serving meat this rubbery should be embarrassing. The mashed potatoes were somehow worse: aggressively salty, gluey, and gummy, like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp since the Bush administration. Comfort food should comfort—this felt like punishment. And then there’s the staff. Dismissive, cold, and uncomfortably biased in how they treated guests. The vibe crossed from “bad service” into something much uglier, and it was impossible not to notice. When you’re charging premium prices, the bare minimum is basic respect—and even that was missing. Daniel’s Broiler trades on reputation alone. The food doesn’t justify the price, the service doesn’t justify the attitude, and the overall experience leaves you wondering how this place is still coasting on a name instead of quality. Save your money. There are far better steaks—and far better people—elsewhere like: 1. El Gaucho 2. John Howie Steak

Horrible experience!! Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a reservation but still waited over half an hour over our reservation time. The host was rude. The server wasn’t paying attention to what we requested so the food wasn’t prepared as we requested. Had to ask for bread. Then the server forgot where she put the cake. Then of course the manager didn’t care. Will NEVER return!!

m

As a person of color I did not feel welcome. The host implied that I might be stealing orders from them when I already stated my name for the order and had uber eats open. The manager gave me the most glaring stare like, “what are you doing in here, boy?” Would not spend my money here again: $50 for some dry, overcooked beef…

Some really suspect service in Bellevue. We sat at the bar and my wife orderd a mocktail (no alcohol). She was served and after she drank half the bartender came over and grabbed her drink and said "omg don't drink that!" He had made her a drink with alcohol. We were chill about it but if she was allergic or sober or had a religious reason not to drink that would have been a disaster. He apologized and in his haste forgot to make her a replacement. I really expected more from a nice place like Daniel's. We did not complain. We just won't be back.

M
Megan DeJarnett

The service was great, but my filet mignon flight of three 4 oz steaks was not. I was with a dinner party and the rule is that you cut into the middle of your steak to check it and while the Wagyu was perfect medium rare the other two were barley pink in the middle, dry, and in the end tasteless. Those pieces just sat on the plate. My husband likes his meat medium, so not a total loss. But, these were filets and I expected melt in my mouth richness cooked perfectly. The calamari was great and the best part of my meal was the creamed corn. This was an expensive lesson, but I was too embarrassed to say they over cooked my steak.

I
Inna Levchenko

I was present during this situation and can confirm that we called well in advance due to an unexpected emergency. The reservation was canceled responsibly, hours ahead of time, and at no point during that phone call were we informed that a charge would still apply. Finding out afterward that $50 had been taken without clear disclosure was extremely frustrating. This is not about avoiding policies - it is about transparency. If a cancellation fee applies regardless of notice or circumstances, that needs to be explicitly communicated at the time of cancellation. Clear communication is a basic expectation, especially from a restaurant that presents itself as high-end. The issue here is not the policy itself, but the lack of clarity when we did the responsible thing by calling ahead. We hope management reviews this situation carefully.
