I didn’t know they open for breakfast. I had sunnyside up eggs, fresh salad and Croissant. And I ordered DoorDash for dinner the other day. My favorite is coconut soup with a tofu. I went there with my sister again today. The owner was very friendly. I love her always smiling. The curry potato puff was so yummy. I will definitely go back to try some other stuff.
I tried this new Thai-inspired breakfast spot last week with my friend, and I absolutely loved it! The place is super cute with a chic, cozy vibe. The food came out excellent—fresh, flavorful, and such a fun twist on Thai cuisine. Definitely a new favorite for breakfast. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Lovely breakfast spot! 🥞✨ The avo carese with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes was so fresh and delicious Monkey Morning pancakes topped with bananas and berries were perfectly Yummy. Sunrise tum yum scramble Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. The staffs are very nice and good service 🤩😊 A refreshing, feel-good start to the day! 🌿🍓
I had a great lunch here. It’s counter service featuring Asian fusion or Thai. The staff was really friendly. My order was taken quickly and the wait for me food was reasonable. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. I sat out side which while very nice is adjacent to a four lane road so it not romantic. This is a great lunch option
Tasty food and great service. I ordered Pad see ew and Papaya salad. They served them in 5 minutes Wow! I recommended you try Thai tea and coconut ice cream too!
Great hidden gem, The food was not only good but also incredibly tasty and authentic. We tried the woonsen shrimp Pad Thai, Tom Kha soup, and Thai Chicken Basil, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The specials woonsen pad thai for the night added an exciting twist to our tradition pad thai. it's worth noting that the spice levels can be quite intense, so be prepared for some heat or let them know upfront to bring the heat down The customer service was excellent, making our visit even more enjoyable. The Pad thai was spicey, and they immediately offered another replacement that was the right heat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine!
Now Spoon and fork serve breakfast and brunch. I recommend everyone come to try and you won’t be disappointed
My favorite Thai restaurant in the area and it's just gotten better! Authentic food and really nice service. The employees really go out of their way to be helpful. Some of the dishes can be made not spicy, but not all, so check with the restaurant if that's a concern for you. Our go-tos are pork larb (not spicy), pad see ew, green curry, tom yum soup, woonsen pad thai. The egg rolls are really yummy too and are totally worth the price...! The outdoor space has space heaters that work really really well! We were able to have a large party (4 adults and 8 kids!) seated outside despite it being a little windy and cold, and it worked great. It looks like a fast casual spot but they now offer dine-in service with nice looking tableware so it's much nicer than one would expect of the venue, and it's quite cozy inside especially with its holiday decorations!
Best Thai restaurant in the bay area. Truly authentic flavors, delicious food. Great portion sizes and a super friendly staff. I try to make a visit at least once a month and I have never been disappointed.
I live in Belmont for over three years and it was my first time here! I'm so surprised we have such a good Thai food around the neighborhood with reasonable price. I'll come to try other food soon.
I like that it's a more informal dining room, you order at the cash register and then sit down. Service was fast👍 The Pad Thai was perfect, I ordered it without meat and only tofu. More noodles than sprouts,👍👍Easy to park and lots of light, open seating.
The food was fantastic !!!! The ingredients very very fresh. I will come back again soon
I love Spoon and Fork for its convenient Bay Area location, super friendly service and promptly served tasty Thai food! I've been here a dozen times and always leave satisfied. Only outdoor seating and take out due to Covid, but still worth visiting for a bite to eat!
Decent food, the curry’s not as good as I make lol Counter order, they bring the food to table. But cute place

Great food. I love how they dont over cook the noodles. It was very very good. Serving size is not big as other reviews have stated but it was fine for me. I love here
Love the Pad Thai here! Fast and friendly service with wonderful atmosphere. New fav Thai spot!
This place is the best Thai food hands down. Fresh and delicious.
Fantastic food tough to find outside of Thailand or LA
Best pad thai in the neighborhood! Also had the wings, which I'd order again too!
Great food! Decent place for a quick sit down meal
Best Thai food I’ve had in the bay
DELICIOUS! Service is great, food is amazing. I feel like I'll be a regular here
Love their food! The ladies are so nice too!
Great Thai food
Was there for a lunch meeting. Excellent quality of food.
Great food, great service, both takeout and dine in
Scrumptious clean lite food at a reasonable price (at least in the Bay Area)
Delicious! The veggies are always plentiful and fresh, perfectly cooked. Curries and soups are full of flavor and very real and fresh tasting. Really appreciate the option to customize spice level when feeding kids, no spice really is not spicy at all and still tastes amazing.
5/5!!! thought it was close to what i had in Thailand. had sweet basil, pad see yew, tom yum goong, thai tea, and coconut ice cream with peanuts. all were great!! please stay here forever!
I am Thai on a business trip in San Carlos and came across this authentic restaurant. I was really surprised by how good and authentic the foods are. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Will come back for sure.
New to the Bay Area. We LOVE Thai food and haven’t been happy with what we have found so far. Came across Spoon and Fork and this is now a meal we come to maybe every few weeks. So good and tastes very fresh.
very tasty and unique food that i don’t usually get in normal Thai restaurant. The service is fast and the food is refresh! Will recommend to all the people who are craving for thai food. I like their Larb most.
Amazing food. Always hot and delicious, and the workers are all very friendly. I'm a big fan of the pad thai and coconut rice.
We were planning to go to near by restaurant but it was not open then decided to come to here even though we had a small concern that it was too casual to bring our client. The food was so very good and the casual environment made the experience even better. We will definitely come back here eat in or take out.
Fine quality Thai food. Asked for drunken noodles very very spicy' and they did it right.
This place is hidden gem - I’ve been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Pad kee mow and pad see ew were both solidly above average - top 25% of places I’ve been. Good casual vibe and quick service, no wait.
We loved the beef curry. Very casual, affordable Thai food.
Always clean environment. Food is delicious and fresh, staff are super friendly. We have this restaurant in our normal rotation of favorite places to eat.
Nice food. Self service and the menu is very clear about non spicy and veggie options
Food is fantastic, and very light. They are extremely friendly and definitely the best Thai food in San Carlos/ Belmont.
Pad thai was exceptionally solid. Can confirm order can take some time. Not much place to sit in/around and ventilation is limited, use it as a to-go place.
We come here very often, almost weekly. Amazing flavor in all the dishes we've tried so far. So glad that this is close to where we live!
We ordered Basil Stir Fry, the Tom Yoon Soup and a side dish with pork neck and all were very tasty!
Great food, fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Pickup takes a little longer than posted but planning for it and the solid tasting food makes up for it.
I really enjoyed the lunch special and the hibiscus lemonade. It was my first time there and I had a really positive experience.
Very good food. Menu is a little limited, but what they do make is very tasty. People are very friendly.
After living in SE Asia for a number of years, I have missed good Thai food since I moved to the Bay Area. Spoon & Fork takes me back...have gone back twice since
I love the pad Thai, curries, coconut soup, and pad kee mao, but I miss the flavor of the old pad Thai. This place takes feedback VERY seriously so I understand changing it if some people didn’t like it, I don’t mind the new pad Thai in a lot of ways it’s better! like the flat noodles and the yummy hints of citrus! Thai place is good, quick, and the customer service is superb! I would highly recommend it if you’re passing by!
This was my first time to try this restaurant I am from San Jose I ordered the sweet basil chicken. It was very delicious the price was reasonable. The cashier was friendly and recommended the dish to me I was not disappointed with the sweet basil. The interior of the restaurant is clean and there is parking outside the restaurant.
I have been here many times and I am a regular. It is one of the few places that makes me feel comfortable when I order vegan or vegetarian meals. The food quality, quantity and taste is AMAZING. Strongly to recommended to anyone who likes Thai food and even those who haven't tried or like Thai! I am reasonably sure they'll convert once they try Spoon and Fork. Stuff to try for vegetarians: Pad Kee Maw Fried rice Stir fry Unfortunately, they can't make the curries (green / yellow) vegetarian. I have had food in restaurants all over the world including many Michelin starred ones. I can swear that this place is amazing :)
We live nearby and get takeout a couple times a month. I’ve never had a not great dish even once. Soup, salad, curries, noodles, stir fry… it’s all good. Not fussy in the least but super fresh and customizable. I like to order online while on my way home from somewhere and pick it up on my way by.
My new favorite to go Thai food. Ty!!
Spoon and Fork reminds me of my favorite go to restaurants from my six years in Thailand — a broad selection of tasty dishes that come out fast and fresh. So hard to find a Thai spot like this in ‘Merica.
Great vibes at the location, fast delivery, absolutely amazing comfort food. I crave the coconut rice all the time. How do they get it so soft but just barely crispy at the same time? Honestly for such a small place, they make incredible food where you can taste all of the ingredients. We probably order every other week so please don’t ever leave me.
Thai fast food, you're eating out of take out boxes. Seating is clean and plentiful (indoor and outdoor) We had a little bit of time before going back to work, and this place was easy and quick Soup, yum kanar salad and pork pad see yew noodles were good. The heat builds, but it wasn't too spicy and the sweetness of the noodles was what I expected. They also have mango pandan sticky rice and hibiscus lemonade, we were tempted but didn't try
I visited on a busy day, so the food took a little longer to arrive. However, the staff were very kind, polite, and attentive, which made the wait worthwhile. The food was delicious with authentic flavors, and the service was excellent. I am Thai and always look for real Thai taste this place truly delivers. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available. Highly recommended!”

Food was fast, simple, and quality. The place is nice and clean. They have a nice little outdoor seating area too.
Food is good. It's counter service. They do bring the food to your table. We like sitting outside.
Very fresh tasting, but not the best Thai flavors I've had and a bit pricey.
Delicious food and friendly service in a noisy setting. Our lunch was delicious. Seating choices were inside with loud music or outside with traffic noise as you're sitting at El Camino. Server was very helpful and nice.
Decent fast casual spot for Thai classics. It has a lean menu with the staples: appetizers, salads, noodles, etc. The renditions are a bit different from your typical Thai restaurants which do Bangkok or Changmai style Thai. We still had a good meal with plenty left for lunch/dinner the next day.
We paid $50 for 2 diet cokes cans, a portion of pad Thai, a portion of larb, a fried wonton snack, and the tip. Everything was good, but the portion sizes could have been a bit more.
Good, authentic Thai choices. The Tom Kha Gai soup is delicious and full of large chunks of chicken, and the Sweet Basil with Chicken is remarkably good, especially paired with the coconut rice.
Great location, very good parking in a ln area where parking is tight! The food choice is very good. They will spice food up right. If the food had a little less salt I would give it the 5th star!
Very good Thai food. Not cheap for the paper plates and plastic forks and no servers. $3 for a can of coke? The food was good though.
I wanted to love the food more than i did but it’s cute and the service is great
I took my friend there for his birthday and I was surprised and a little uncomfortable that they expect you to tip when you pay for the meal. I didn't say anything at the time because I it was my friends birthday...having said that all that they do is bring your food/drink to the table...most restaurants servers do a lot more service for tips 🤔 The food was good, although I was disappointed that my friends dinner had very little chicken...and their lemonade is excellent...as for the rest of the menu they had very few choices and even less if you don't like spicy food.
First time I got takeout and everything was perfect but this time they said website issues caused them not to receive my order so I had to wait another 25 min. The pad Thai this time was more sweet and too much sauce which caused most of the noodles to stick together. I actually tried to call in my order but that wasn't working either.
You want some quick, hot Thai food served on a no-nonsense plate with some yummy thai iced tea, don't skip this place. It is not fancy, it is not pretentious, it does not have a 12-page menu for you to figure out - simple, solidly-executed dishes to solve your "I'm hungry and Thai is the only food that will solve this" moment. The location makes it easy to get to, but it also makes the outdoor picnic tables a noisy place to eat with dozens of drivers on El Camino whizzing by. The people there have been consistently friendly, despite always seeming to be in a hurry, even when I'm the only customer at the counter. This is southeast asian comfort food and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Enjoy!
The food was pretty good, the ingredients were fresh but the prices where high. So overall, while I appreciate this restaurant option in our neighborhood, the price will probably keep me from coming back again. We got the chicken wings (excellent flavor), pad Thai with shrimp (pretty fresh, though lacking excitement), Penang Curry (our least favorite dish because its consistency was more of a soup than a curry), and mango sticky rice (we liked it although it didn’t seem authentic as the mango was hard and tasted more like an apple than a Thai mango). The total including tax and tip was $92.
Awesome fried chicken wings- great flavor (could be bigger) I ate all the onions they were so delicious. Basil chicken is really really good. I’m on the fence about the green curry (was white) I think it may have been because we ordered mild. Pad Thai was ok... maybe too sweet for me. The place is clean. Parking up top is chained close to opening .
I’ve had this a couple times and it’s never really wowed me especially with all the good Thai food in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, this last time around, my delivery order came burnt and under seasoned which is unfortunate for a $20+ entree. In the past, the food “for here” has been good so maybe it was a one off event but still nothing to write home about. I think the price is definitely high compared to the quality. The staff are super nice though.

Nice place - casual - shirt staffed so be prepared for a wait and rushed service. However, the politeness from the staff comes through. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to the tables. The food is at best mediocre. I found myself comparing it with others and no dish came out as a “wow”. Plenty of parking.

It's ok food but very pricey. There was nothing special in the flavour of the food and the portions were small. Definitely underwhelmed.
Veg pad Thai. Too sweet and average for the price point
Food tastes good but prob sizes are small
We had pad thai. It was too sweet and taste was meh. It caused gas afterwards. Will not be going there again.
The flavors are good but they put too much sugar into the food. It sometimes taste so sweet, it's kind of gross. Please reduce the sugar by 90%. You don't need it. The second issue is that they ground their meat which is kind of cheating you. You get maybe 2 small tablespoons of meat which is so finely ground, it typically gets stuck between your teeth. Please stop grinding the meat. That's NOT how it is done in Thailand. I used to live there. The place is rarely busy and I'm surprised they have stayed in business. For the amount of protein, you are getting, it's very expensive. What you are mainly eating are noodles or rice.
I've had much better Thai food at most any other Thai restaurant. I ordered the curry and found the medium spice to be just borderline mild.... and the bamboo shoots were tough/chewy. Soup was just above lukewarm. My friend was disappointed with his dish also.
Used to be great but now it's under new management and the food was pretty bland and below average
Small portions and expensive. Not enough chicken in pad Thai and not enough roti in the starter.
They are under new management!! Definitely not the same flavour profile. Much more bland, not as flavourful. I’m so disappointed because I LOVED Spoon and Fork flavours were the best Chicken Pad Thai around! The price increased as well. It’s now $17.57. They do put more chicken in, but the flavours are more like the 2 other Thai restaurants very close to this one. One north on El Camino, the other is south just a few blocks away. I will miss the unique flavour of the old owners. It’s not bad, just doesn’t stand out like before!
This place used to be a gem of Belmont but not any more. Seems recently they have changed the chef and the food is not as good as it used to be. I don’t really like the flavor now. Service is good. Barely no people dine in at noon time, which is not normal. Also seems it’s more expensive now.

Google & Yelp have disappointed us again… pointing us in the direction of this place with high ratings that did not live up to the hype, unfortunately. These days everything has become expensive, so when we go out we are relying on other people’s experiences, so we don’t waste our time nor money. This place wasn’t what we were expecting. The food came out WAY too fast to be considered “fresh,” portions are hella small for what they are charging, and you have to order at the register. Meh 🫤 we were hoping for some delicious Thai food, where we could be served and leave content/full/happy. Spoon & Fork wasn’t that place, for us at least. Wouldn’t come bank again.
I ordered the Tiger Crying dish which had me crying as it consisted of a measly 3-4oz of meat. Served on a plastic Ikea style plate. With Tax and Tip I was at $25 and I had to order an actual dinner afterwards as it was no where near satiating. I was completely swindled and will not come back again.

Truly disappointing meal. For $75 I received stale fried rice, dry unseasoned overcooked chicken that simply had sauces thrown on top. Even their Thai iced tea was a disappointing cup of syrup. I would avoid this place even when you're having a COV19 driven hankering for some Thai food.
The food used to be good… now they serve really small portions with not a lot of taste…
This place used to be good, but I don't know what happened. I ordered a panang curry with rice. What I got was a bowl of coconut milk with some chili oil floating on top, some chicken and peppers. It tasted of absolutely nothing. Not even salted. I can make a killer panang curry, the flavors are supposed be complex and rich and thick. This was a bowl of coconut milk. Unbelievable. The price with tip? Over $33 dollars. I won't be back and I will not recommend. I feel ripped off.
