If you love bbq, you definitely want to stop in!! You can smell the bbq smoke soon as you pull into the parking lot! From the chopped beef to the hand cut fries, everything was absolutely superb!! Another thing that I loved was the fountain drinks!! They used a company by the name of Real Sugar Soda, based out of Oak Cliff, TX!! The soda and flavors are amazing!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Convenient location w plenty of parking. Veer right as you enter and enjoy the brief signage in the hallway/queue. I had the 2 meat plate, sampling the pork and brisket w a baked potato. Both meats had a succulent, smoked flavor and was quite tender. Military friendly. This was a nice find. Enjoy!

Drove by this place 100's of times, but today, we decided to stop. The food was really good. The sandwich pictured is the Gunslinger. My friend got the Frito Pie. He said it was good too. Staff is friendly and fast service. The inside was clean and so were the restrooms. Soap, paper towels and toilet paper stocked. However, I have two things I feel are worth mentioning for management if they read this review. Your windows are absolutely filthy. This is a first impression thing. My red flag alarm went off when we pulled up. Two, the tables are very sticky. It wasn't just ours. I checked two others before we sat down. Despite the two issues I noticed, Woody Creek BBQ still deserves a 5 star rating and we will be back soon.

Since returning to Texas we have tried 3 BBQ places and so far this is our favorite. The sliced beef was lean and had a beautiful smoke ring. The hot link sausage was a winner with my husband and he is picky about his sausage. Potato salad was good, fries were excellent, bean were good. Their BBQ sauce is very middle of the road and should please everyone; not too spicy, not too salty, not too sweet. They have a nice bar area too with national standards and local brews as well. The whole family was happy and we will definitely go back. The whole place was clean, well organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Generous portions and great tasting food. Always order the 3 meat plate. Delicious! Delivery is always on time and professional.

Casual environment and good barbecue! We would definitely drop in here again when we are in town. Thankful for Yelp reviews that helped us find this place.

Great brisket! The potato salad is better than most, as is their slaw. The beans are pretty good, too. I always grab a single pound of ribs, 3 big ones. Their barbecue sauce is great.

I was craving BBQ & found this place close to my office. I got the 2-meat plate with sliced brisket & smoked sausage - sides of potato salad & green beans - served with a smoky BBQ sauce & bread. They had great sweat tea, too. I'm glad I found this place; I will definitely back for seconds!

The service was fantastic! The food was good. The portions were huge. I love their soda selections. The coconut lime soda was very good. Hubby had a 2 meat plate with burnt ends and sausage. I had the loaded potato... I can't remember what they call it. It was HUGE! I had it for dinner that night and for lunch a day later.

Disclaimer: I am not a fan of barbecue but my daughter and son love this restaurant! I gave it four stars because their smoked meats are very tasty and super tender! The baked beans and BBQ sauce are also amazing! They have a good condiment bar with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. They also have really good cold draft beer but don't buy anything in the bottle because it's too pricy. I think $13+ for one meat and two sides is way overpriced. Those would be my only complaints.

Decent bbq - no combos so food is à la carte so probably more $ than I would have paid for. Chili nachos were not good at all - chopped brisket sandwich had good flavor though. Fries appeared home made - No veteran discount, only active duty 🙄 Public Servant dis. Only ~$4 Not sure I would return for this experience.

Amazing food. Some of the best BBQ in Texas. One particular interaction the other day was quite uncomfortable when I was dining in. I usually just do a pickup order and take it home. On November 15th at around 4:00pm I came by to dine in with my girlfriend and a friend, and our meal was interrupted multiple times by an employee “just messing with us”. He was an African American gentleman about 5ft 11 and He was very unprofessional and made everything awkward as we were trying to have a conversation. When we walked in he was starting at my girlfriend, making her very uncomfortable. This is absolutely one of my favorite spots, and it’s unfortunate that they’d hire someone who would hurt their business.

if you like microwave barbecue this is a place for you!!you can tell it's microwave when it's 500°.and of course it's dry. The potato salad was oddly flavored.. red beans were soso.. The burnt ends were microwaved also..uhg!! 27.50.. sorry I'll have to go somewhere else.. I would have rather had a McRib.. if that tells you anything!?? Sorry to even post this! It was just deeply disappointing.

I am trying to make it a point to visit every BBQ place in DFW. It is safe to say that Woody Creek made it to the bottom of the list. The service was within question, the "brisket" was more similar to rib roast. The environment doesn't give a BBQ feel but more so a country diner? I am not sure to be honest. I don't think I will bring my wife to this one just because I care about her. The outside of the building looked cool!

Just door dashed this place, not impressed. Got two meat combo, with beans, and tater salad. The chicken was so dry, not much flavor. Sausage was ok, not a fan of the beans and tater salad. Total price was $40.50 so not worth the price. Want be back.
