In a splendid location just above Torre Boldone (BG), this magnificent restaurant welcomes its guests with a floor-to-ceiling window and a breathtaking view of Bergamo. The tables are beautifully set with cotton tablecloths and assorted napkins. We are immediately escorted to our table by a kind and smiling young lady. Ours is a Smartbox tasting menu with numerous courses, from appetizers to dessert and coffee. We begin with the chef's appetizer, a marvel of cheese mousse and half a grape. Then comes the appetizer, a crispy millefeuille with zucchini and mushrooms and a light fondue. Two first courses to choose from: tagliolini with clams, nettle olives, and spinach with cheese fondue. Two second courses, also of your choice: sea bass or sliced ​​steak. Here, the raw ingredients are exceptional, the plating is executed to perfection; you can tell there's a true chef in the kitchen. The desserts are equally as delicious, including the classic tiramisu, expertly made by them, and a vanilla semifreddo topped with melted chocolate. What spectacular dishes, such wonderful flavors, I'll definitely be back!!! All served impeccably, kindly and attentively, always with a smile. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend them.

I have to promise myself I'll return to Papillon more often. Excellent dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. The taste is superb, every course a riot of flavors, aromas, and colors. The staff is courteous and discreet, and the management is very attentive to customer needs. The price is very fair for the overall high quality. If I really have to find a flaw, it's not the food, but the restaurant's spaces, which could use a bit of a refresh. 5 well-deserved stars! Congratulations.

Excellent service, with attentive attention to our needs and a personal description of the dishes prepared by the Chef himself! And what can I say about the food itself: everything was so good you could dig in and eat it. We already know where to spend the next special date. 😊

The location opens onto a room with a unique panoramic view. The spaces are very well-kept and clean. The wait staff is truly professional, not at all intrusive, with gentle and kind manners. We greatly appreciated this unique quality, which, sadly, is lacking nowadays. I don't remember how long it was since I saw the chef come out to introduce himself to the guests. Hats off. Finally! Here's a truly wonderful restaurant for lunch or dinner, in a welcoming atmosphere, with a dining room offering a splendid view of the valley, extremely friendly staff, and delicious, well-prepared food. The owner's care for her guests is evident from the moment you enter, with temperature checks and masks for all the dining room staff, something that's not a given. More than a customer, you feel like a guest, pampered and served with courtesy, expertise, and professionalism. The dishes are beautifully cooked and plated, with quality ingredients, balanced flavors, and just the right portions. We had tagliolini and olivelle for the first course, sea bream and sirloin for the second course, plus two desserts and rosé wine: all excellent. I had lunch one Sunday with my daughter, using a Smartbox gifted to me, and it was a very, very positive experience. Finally, I can say a 5-star restaurant! Luca and Giada.

We enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley thanks to our table location, which the owners had carefully chosen at my request. The chef was friendly and available to accommodate and consider my requests. At the end of the celebrations, he came to honor my mother and those present with extreme kindness and courtesy.
