Locale molto carino e intimo. Piccolino ma con un’atmosfera fantastica. Il proprietario molto gentile, fa drink alcolici e analcolici sia classici che da lui “inventati”, anche sulla base dei gusti dei clienti. Prezzi nella norma, un Gin Fizz 8€, un analcolico 6€. Complimenti, 5 stelle meritate!

Compton Café is an excellent choice for both an aperitif and a pleasant evening. Besides the welcoming atmosphere, the food is incredible: beautifully presented dishes with generous portions and impeccable service. I especially recommend the carpaccio and the vitel tonnato, undoubtedly among the best I've ever tasted! It's also a great option for breakfast, with a perfect cappuccino, fresh brioches, and delicious biscuits. And, if you prefer something outdoors, the sidewalk seating is especially pleasant, particularly at night, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the weather. Whether for a full meal or just a moment of relaxation, Compton Café always delivers an excellent experience!

The place is well-maintained and clean. I had an orange and ginger tea, which was delicious. The teapot and cup they served were very unique. The staff was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back. I recommend it for both an aperitif with friends or a quick lunch. There are also outdoor seating.

Best #Spritz in Bergamo and not only

Locale piacevole ed elegante, accogliente e ben curato, atmosfera rilassante. Servizio garbato, cortese e disponibile. Cocktail ben fatti, piccola stuzzicheria gradevole, ricercata ma senza eccedere. Fa bella figura. Prezzi sopra la media.

Locale in stile anni 30, molto ben arredato. Il caffè non è dei migliori, per la colazione il bancone è letteralmente pieno di brioches di pasticceria (molto buone) presentate in alzatine di vetro. La ragazza al bancone è molto gentile e sorridente, cosa che non guasta mai.

Stamattina entriamo e vediamo sul bancone del bar una brioche tagliata a metà su un piattino ed ogni metà era farcita con mezza fetta di spalla cotta e mezza foglia di lattuga. Costo per ogni metà ben 3.50 €, significa che una brioche intera con una fetta di spalla è una foglia di lattuga costa ben 7,00 €, lo stesso prezzo della migliore pizza Margherita servita al tavolo nella migliore pizzeria della città, solo che per la pizza ci sono ben 280 grammi di impasto, polpa di pomodoro San Marzano e circa 120 grammi di fior di latte... Senza contare la preparazione, l'energia ecc... Ma non è finita... Nel bar non ci sono listini dei prezzi esposti e sui prodotti esposti non ci sono prezzi. Tutti obblighi da rispettare per il gestore-proprietario.. Inoltre dal Gennaio 2020 è obbligatoria la descrizione dei prodotti e dei beni sullo scontrino fiscale... Sul mio scontrino... le due metà di brioche erano descritte come BAR... per cui avrei acquistato due bar per la modica cifra di 7,00 euro. La cultura di una città non si misura dalla quantità di musei o di biblioteche... Cambiate mestiere forse ne gioverà sicuramente la cultura culinaria e l'onestà di Bergamo...
