The food is made to order and SO FRESH! No soggy topping here. Staff was kind and knowledgeable on menu ingredients. Flavor and spice blends are on point. Don't even get me started on the baklava 🤤 After our meal (I had kofta) it felt like my tummy and heart were held in a hug. Honestly can't wait visit again.

Was in town from Cali and this place was close so I checked it out. Food was amazing and Jay even hooked us up with some chicken nuggets. Great service and very fresh food.

The guys there are nice he gave me a white sauce packet cause of how much I like it. Just wish they can add more meat..it's like you scope the rice 3-4 times full up the tray, and scope the meat 1 time, and 3-4 times scope on veggies to fill it up. Some of us are on the carnivore diet to burn our fat reserves to lose fat and keep out muscles..

If you’re in Bergenfield and want great halal food, this spot is awesome. The lamb, chicken with salad, and kofta kebab burgers are super tasty and well-made. Plus, the staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Definitely worth a visit

Instead of going to the All You Can Eat Buffet next door, I decided to try the food at Shah's Halal for the 1st time. Omg! the food was absolutely delicious fresh n tasty. The portion is huge, and that green sauce is a game changer. The employees were kind n helpful, making Shah's Halal my new favorite restaurant.

This was the second time I have tried this place for Falafel over rice and the lady helped me get what I wanted fir my platter. They were very hygienic and clean while handling food as Falafel is the only Vegetarian fish from their menu, I saw them how they catered it well considering my expectations and gave me 10 lines of red sauce (which I believe the lady was surprised while counting) and also asked me if I want any sauce on the side, on uber eats I got BOGO deal for pick up so I tried it and tipped them well in cash, instead of on UBER delivery. If you can drive fir 3 Miles, tip the amount of taxes, processing fee to the store people as they are working really hard for their wellbeing by an hour. Your Little contribution makes it towards their gallon of milk or their family.

The restaurant was great, and the girl who helped me was very kind. Honestly, this is the best location of this company I’ve seen. It was clean, and the staff were excellent.

Coming from NY, we are used to some good halal food trucks. But this tops that! I love the fact that the chicken over rice comes with a choice of black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, chickpeas, hummus, and grilled green peppers and onions! And the white sauce is the cherry on top. First of all, We love extra white sauce lol. But Here, I did not have to ask for extra! the sauce taste so good. It is definitely flavored and yummy. I went two days in a row and will definitely come back again in the future.

I am impressed, very clean, very modern, and this turns out to be a commercial chain. Staff is nice, tons of stainless steel. Food is very fresh and large portions. Store is very clean. I purchased the gyro and got everything on it. Hot juicy and delicious. A true stand out... the Hot Sauce! IT REALLY IS HOT SAUCE! Loved it!!! This hot sauce is not the runny red water you get off the carts in Manhattan. This hot sauce you only need one (light) squeeze for your average gyro. Delicious and Smokey, with tons of heat. Stop in and give them a try.

They have a 50% off offer going on for orders over $10 (up to $15 discount). Upon arrival I found the store to be nicely renovated. The ordering and pay areas are right at the entrance. The dine-in area is at the back with few tables. Sadly the floor has lots of chips and markings for a new store, diminishes the look of the area a lot. It took me about 20 minutes to get my order. Despite being no other customer in the store (some came while I was waiting) surprisingly it took them a lot of time. But the associate apologized for the delay. I got the chicken lamb combo gyro and chicken platter. The chicken in both seemed stale to me. Probably it was cooked and just kept on the side without heating it. Since I just had the same item the day before in Palisade center store, I could easily compare the two. The white and green sauce made up the difference somewhat in the gyro. The chicken nuggets were cooked in front of me, those were pretty good. I hope they take some steps to keep the meat and the rice fresh for extended period.

Today i ordered from here 1st time I m tourist and was looking for nice halal food I ordered fries which were seperate not with burger still no sauce no ketchup Fries were very soft thick burnt and taste weird and burger taste was very bad i paid for extra cheese still very less I regret why i wasted my money.

I did order for the food but inadvertently shared this location instead of a NY location on 9th Avenue. I canceled the order in 2 minutes on the UBER. But before canceling I called the store right away to reverse the order. Noone picked up the phone. But the store charged me for the canceled order, done under 2 mins. When merchant cancels order they don't compensate the customer but when the other way happens the merchant doesn't take this into account. They keep the food and charge me for nothing. The Uber is not cooperating in this instance either. Careful people. Addendum: I did cancel the order on ubereats on Jan 28, 2025 at 5:11 pm.

He asked for the rest, but the staff insisted that what they had given him was the full order. He then called me from the store, and I spoke with a female employee to explain that I had paid for all the items and only received part of them. She refused to provide the remaining items and abruptly ended the call. Thinking the call had dropped, I called back—only to be met with more resistance and outright refusal to correct the mistake. This was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable customer service. Arguing with a paying customer and refusing to fulfill a clearly documented order is a serious issue. While Uber did refund me for the missing items, that doesn’t undo the poor experience. Even if I hadn’t paid (which I did, with both physical and digital receipts), they could have at least offered the fries and drinks as a goodwill gesture. Instead, they chose to escalate the situation. The food we did receive wasn’t remotely worth the price. Value for money: 4/10 Customer service: 0/10 I paid $6 for extra meat received a small plastic container with what looks like 4 teaspoons worth of meat.
