Pink cloud tea & more

My daughter had been raving about this place for months. I finally joined her this week, and I was blown away. The food was delicious, made fresh in front of our eyes. The atmosphere is adorable with fantastic pink clouds floating above. And the service was warm and memorable (they even provided a complimentary treat for my daughter's birthday!). This is a must see spot , and I can't wait to return!

The 'main chicks' are soooo good! i tried the cheesy ham and the royal king sandwiches and both do not disappoint. the bread is sooo flavorful and garlicky and the egg is so fluffy. be warned that the sandwich can be very messy to eat like a normal sandwich - there is so much egg in the sandwich it can fall out, so it comes with a fork. it's a big sandwich too. the boba is OK, not the best but still up there, and you get a bigger size for the same price of some worse places in Berkeley. the tea tastes a little watered down and i wish the boba was sweeter, but it still goes great with the sandwich. the 'special drinks' are the main highlight. staff is very nice, decor is cute and pink. i hope this place never stops making sandwiches!! Update 5/3/24 I don't know if i've changed or this place has changed their sourcing but the boba is good and sweeter now. :) I prefer the milk teas.

Definitely overrated. Jianbing tastes okay but not authentic at all. Milk tea is overpriced for the quality. I would not recommend if you are looking for a real Jianbing or milk tea place.

If you order online they charge you an extra 0.75 cents for ANY milk added to a taro milk tea order. Might as well just charge 75 cents more than throw in a hidden milk fee for milk tea. Unusual ordering experience that feels dishonest.

This cashier couldn’t describe what the place served or where the most popular food came from(Tianjin). With no photos of what the food looks like, it’s difficult to prove an order. So I tried their most popular dish, the Jianbing, which was flavorless. Eating it is just is similar to putting warm bread into your mouth except that has more flavor and the lady didn’t have gloves, being unhygienic. Very overpriced $12 for something the size of palm of my hand
