It's a 🦄 unicorn on drive from Shreveport to Houston. Good fresh food. Food isn't too spicy or too salty, which is a good thing if you are on a long road trip. 😉Very clean.🥰 Cleanest restaurant we have ever been in. Bathroom was ✨️ sparkling clean. After being away from home and on the road, El Ranchitio was a lovely, friendly, and welcoming rest stop. 😊

We love Mrs. Gloria and the crew at El Ranchito! The food is always good, the salsa is spicy and the house dressing is delish! Good prices and a family friendly atmosphere! Hubby recommends the Michaca plate and I love the cheese enchiladas! But everything we have tried is good!

Salsa tasted mysteriously the same as Pace Picante Walmart salsa.... And sadly the shredded cheese over the refried beans was sooo sour. It tasted exactly like the old bag of shredded cheese I let get moldy at my house previously. It grossed me out. The waitress was perfect. So kind and helpful.

Called and ordered steak fajita nachos, but I only received about 8 chips, microwaved in the styrofoam container. There weren’t any fajita vegetables just a side of lettuce sour cream and guacamole. It was terrible. My kids have cooked better nachos at home in the microwave.
