I arrived at the Live Casino & Hotel from a long flight, tired and hungry. I know the Shreveport area fairly well as far as the restaurant scene, but I was too tired to have to Uber to a restaurant then have to Uber back to my hotel, so I resigned myself to a mediocre meal (or so I thought) at the "Ridotto Grand Cafe" because it was the closest within walking distance to the hotel elevators. My waiter, Richard, was very amiable and pleasant
Check this place out! We had our experience at the bar. The food was absolutely phenomenal, by far the best we had in the city during our stay. Ms. T made the experience very memorable with her fantastic customer service, she was so pleasant and we were very appreciative of her. We had the steak and eggs as well as the Eggs Benedict. Everything was wonderful and Ms. T made the best mimosas I have ever had! The steak was cooked to perfection and the everything was seasoned perfectly. Thank you to Ms. T for making our visit so amazing!
Restaurant Review: Ridotto, Bossier City, Louisiana Date of Visit: February 22, 2024 During my recent visit to Ridotto in Bossier City, Louisiana, I had a genuinely delightful experience. The restaurant exudes a chic and inviting ambiance, perfect for a memorable dining experience. I started my meal with calamari and mussels, both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I tried the beef short rib ravioli and chicken parm. The beef short rib ravioli was rich and hearty, while the chicken parm was perfectly cooked, with a balance of spices that left my taste buds tingling. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed two distinctive cocktails: the Cadillac Margarita and the Fiery Pineapple Smash. Both drinks were expertly crafted and provided a refreshing contrast to the main courses. The service at Ridotto was top-notch. The staff was attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Overall, Ridotto provided an outstanding dining experience with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area and gladly give it a 5-star rating!
I am not a gambling woman. I don’t even put my money in a shifty looking coke machine. I don’t even like to say “you bet!” Because this life doesn’t come with guarantees. So I don’t get to the Casinos much other than to take photos of storms rolling in from the tops of their garages, or occasional friends from out of town that book the nicest cheapest motels in town. So when Live Casino & Hotel Louisiana let me know it was restaurant week where they offer a set menu (you have options) with everything from apps to drinks to dessert for a lower than normal price I decided now was the time to try Ridotto Grand Cafe, Louisiana. This modern contemporary space oozes a comfortable opulence from the painted framed light fixtures to the cushy velvet high backed booth chairs, which I needed… because woah baby I had no idea what was about to happen in that seat. FIRST I ordered the meatballs, our lovely waiter, Mark (but some people call him James) said it was the most popular thing on the menu, and I can see why. I know we’re all missing the “old” meatballs from *ahem* a few of our favorite Italian places in town… but these were big and round and juicy and herbaceous. They’re covered in a non-sweet non-spicy but flavorful marinara (I’m told the vodka sauce has a little more spice to it) and they bring you 3 of them. We also got the fried mozzarella as an addition to our $49 resturant meal deal, crispy squares of fresh mozzarella that’s chewy and gooey and topped with Parmesan and giardinera which adds a tangy picker kick to the cheese pull-tastic bites. But the REAL jackpot from the penny slots is the garlic bread WORTH EVERY BIT OF ITS $8 price tag… or more … Wow. This house made focaccia is airy and crispy without being crunchy or chewy and it is drenched… and I mean absolutely drenched in the most delicious red pepper garlic butter I have ever had… the last time I had something similar it was the shrimp scampi I ate once a week from Campisi’s in Dallas… one of my favorte dishes. This lump of loaf and those meatballs are going to be my lunch tomorrow… BUT WAIT… there’s more… The restaurant week entree we got was the chicken parmesan. I was hesitant to get it because I get more bad ones than good ones, and I really wanted a winner. Then the manager who came by and asked how we were doing and. I couldn’t even describe it to him without holding my belly like I’m pregnant, confirmed this was a “can’t miss”. He’s not kidding. The chicken was perfectly tender, pounded flat and breaded and fried covered in marinara and again, a thick layer of hot melty good quality cheese. It took up a whole plate. Then he sat down ANOTHER large bowl of al dente spaghetti covered in sauce and cheese. I was already full but I managed a couple of bites while I adjusted myself in my seat and again wondered why I couldn’t be a cow with 6 stomachs that I could just open and close when the food is this good. I’d forgotten about dessert when Mark, who was remarkably knowledgeable about each dish, asked which one we would like. I was already ready to waddle out of there and packing up food in to-go boxes and just said “you pick.” He said “the cheesecake!” And inferred that was to-go too. It’s lemon ricotta cheesecake topped with blueberries and mint. I’m eating it now watching Thursday night football in my fat pants after just an hour ago saying I’d need a crowbar to fit a bite in…. There’s always room for lemon ricotta blueberry cheesecake. I am not a gambling woman, but I bet with my two-cents that you’re going to find Ridotto to be a real winner for higher end dining and solid Italian food. Now… I need to try their breakfast (I hear the fruit covered ultra thick French toast is a winner too.) Live! Restaurant week lasts till September 18! Link to all four of their restaurants special menus in the comments. @amieatseverything
Our experience was wonderful! The food, the place and de environment was perfect for the occasion, we was celebrating my husband's birthday and definitely this place was that we was looking! The service was EXCELLLENT our waitress MARK was pretty nice, definitely if you come you need to ask for him! We want to came back :) Just one thing the place doesn’t has a kind of candle for the dessert but we get free the tiramissu and it was good for celebrate :)
My husband took me here for our 41st anniversary. We had a lovely meal, which began with the very nice hostess who seated us. Mark gave us excellent service. I think this is the FIRST time a waiter pulled out a Tide pen when I got some tomato sauce on my blouse. Now that's going above and beyond. LOL. Anyway, the food was great and I loved the decor and atmosphere. We had a lovely evening.
Richard was great food a bit over priced.
Great food! Got the salmon and loved it. Server was super friendly.
The food was so yummy ! Our waiter Richard was fantastic.
The only thing is they a choice of awful music in background. Hardrock at breakfast is too much
Lauren was a fantastic waitress. She was attentive and friendly. She made our experience an exceptional one.
Our server, Richard did a fabulous job. The food was delicious. The decor is gorgeous!

My server Carla was wonderful! Made my day after losing all my money and a hit room here at Live.
Richard was very friendly & service-oriented and food was good!!
The food was amazing and Tiana and Carla were the absolute best! Cannot wait for the next return trip!
We had friends refer us to eat at this restaurant bc they had said it was so good and we were not disappointed! They had live music, nice atmosphere, and awesome food! We had the calamari app, brick oven pizza, and salmon risotto… DELICIOUS! The service was amazing too! Shane was so helpful and funny! We also found out that they have a BOGO special on Thursday nights for medical folks! Score!!!
Everyone must go and experienced the delicious food here at Ridotto. You will be planning your next meal there before you leave. Ask for Richard, he is a attentive server.
Had dinner at Ridotto restaurant with friends. Food was average. Drinks were awesome. Service was top tier. Our server, Richard, was great…very attentive but not annoying. The management staff checked on us often as well. Overall, we had a great experience.
Great food, and even Better service. Richard did an amazing job. Highly recommend!!!
Linda was awesome....great personality and customer servicce...she definitely deserves a raise
We had an awesome experience for Easter brunch! Carla was our server and she was awesome!!! The raw oysters were fresh and delicious!!! Couldn't have been better!
KC is the most sweetest person I have ever met in my life she makes me feel so so welcome she is so kind hearted I highly recommend her. everything is so flavorful and very tasty and very good Service 10/10 I highly recommend if your staying at the live casino
If you aren’t here on a Monday, you’re wrong! Tiana is the best server and NEVER lets your drink run dry. Great atmosphere, amazing conversation and the best all around. A MUST if you’re wanting great margaritas or martinis for the lowest price in the SBC area.
Food, atmosphere and service was outstanding! Richard was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!
The atmosphere was awesome. The service was great. We really enjoyed the garlic bread that we ordered. The hand-cut crispy Mozzarella was delicious.
We had Richard as our server. He was great. You would not have known he was new hadn’t mentioned it. I appreciated his service. He was was attentive and provided great service.
Great time and great food. Fresh made pasta—delicious. Large servings. Lovely atmosphere. Appreciated the server Shane’s suggestions and high level of service.
Great waitress professional friendly and took care of our needs.
Richard was super sweet & helpful & food was delicious. Maybe bring a jacket, its a little chilly.
Our sever Aaron was amazing. The food was really good. Host was great. The restaurant is so beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who may be visiting.
Richard showed me great hospitality & good customer service.
Richard met our every dining need and gave us some great late food tips.
Richard was phenomenal! Ridotto is so lucky to have him as a server. We asked his recommendations on his favorite foods for us to potentially order and he was happy to give his thoughts. Amazing!
My wife and I had an incredible dining experience at Ridotto Grand Cafe. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and she had the rigatoni with meatballs, both dishes were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and perfectly prepared. The wait staff was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and professional. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with a warm, upscale ambiance that made the evening feel special. Ridotto Grand Cafe is well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Our server Carla was the best server ever! She was super sweet and always made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. A very sweet and welcoming smile and the personality to match it! On top of that the food was amazing too.
5 Stars Jessica was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we were seated, she catered to our every need with professionalism and a warm attitude. She brought drink refills before we even had to ask and was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks to her recommendations, we enjoyed every bite of our meal. Outstanding service—Jessica truly made our dining experience exceptional!
We had a great culinary experience at this new restaurant. Everything was cooked perfectly just like we ordered it. I spoke to the chef to let her know that everything was excellent cooked very well presented and tasted great. Our waiter, Richard did an excellent job all night for use. I would highly recommend this new Italian restaurant Rodottois . It at the Live casino. It was the best meal we have had in a long time
I was staying at Live! on Saturday, April 26, 2025, which is the night there was a huge power outage in the area (due to a car accident). The entire hotel was dark from about 5 - 7 pm except for areas powered by generators. Ridotto, due to its “deli nature” upfront was the only restaurant able to serve food (sandwiches already made). It was a stressful time for everyone - guests and hotel staff, but I have to greatly commend Melissa and Amber at Ridotto during this time. They stayed calm, helpful, and even kept their smiles. The customer ahead of me was very demanding but these two kept their calm and their smiles. They showed top notch customer service and they are to be commended!
This is Jr’s FAVORITE place to go. We LOVE $10 pizza night. His favorite part is interacting with Chef Wes & Josh. They are ALWAYS so kind! Tonight Jr’s eyes got so big as Chef Wes threw his pizza high in the air! Mark, our server was amazingly patient & kind. He took extra time to interact with us & make our pizza night extra special. When it was time to leave Jr wanted to stay longer because the staff is so welcoming. It’s like that EVERY time we visit here. Amazing pizza & service. Truly the gem of this casino. Our family is grateful!
Made a visit to the Ridotto Grand Cafe on Saturday Feb 20th for dinner. Our waiter was Shane. We was very informing, hospitable, customer friendly, and profressional. We ordered salsds. I chose the house salad. I ordered a steak with fries. My wife ordered chicken with spaghetti. My wife ordered a few mixed drinks. I had unsweet tea and water. Our salads were fresh and great tasting. My wife told me her chicken and spaghetti was seasoned to her liking. My steak was cooked medium well to my liking and was deliciously moist and of a great cut. For dessert we ordered cheesecake topped with berries. In my opinion this was yhe best steak I jad ever eaten. My salad was also the best I had eaten in years. The cheesecake was also the best I had even eaten. We had great service rovided by Shane. He checked on us often and kept our drinks filled. We spent a great deal tonight, but yhe food and service was well worth it.
Sherell was our server and she was absolutely lovely! The garlic bread was very good and fresh, and we HIGHLY recommend the risotto, it BLEW us away. The atmosphere was very cozy and elegant, but you could still wear casual clothes and no one would bat an eye. Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely stop by again any chance we get!
The food was great. We order a pepperoni pizza and some Parmesan wings. The pizza was freshly made to order. It was brick oven baked with house made sauce and extra cheesy. The wings were lightly dusted with Parmesan cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend Risotto Grand Cafe. Linda was great and very attentive. 10/10
Came here during a promotion and extremely grateful we decided to. The only downside was having to wait 15-20 min after our reservation time. Our waitress, Sharel, was amazing. We got the meatballs, garlic focaccia bread, pepperoni pizza, rigatoni, and chicken Alfredo. The pizza was hands down the best in Shreveport, especially at $14, if you are fine with something basic. The focaccia bread is a must, it's massive and delicious. The meatballs were a bit salty but hood; the rigatoni was cooked well but not amazing. The Alfredo was extremely good and the chicken was insanely tender. Can't wait to try their breakfast/brunch and will probably use them to get pizza to-go for now on.
Richard is THE waiter to request! He’s attentive and detail oriented. Order the jalapeño shrimp and Gouda grits, superb. He also accommodated our favorite pizza combo of fresh pineapple and jalapeños with balsamic reduction. Italian margs and mozzarella squares with vodka sauce for apps to start. We can’t wait to come back!
Hostess was not very friendly, but our server Richard was great!
Food was pricey, but we enjoyed everything. The staff was very friendly. We had brunch, but I would like to try dinner.
My husband and I decided to come check out the newly remodeled Live Casino and have breakfast here beforehand. Service was on point and our coffee never got below half full. I got Hong King French Toast which was made with brioche and topped with strawberries, bananas and sauce. It was so very tasty. I also got a side of bacon (3 pieces) that was just perfect for me. My husband go steak (cooked medium) and eggs that also came with breakfast potatoes and toast. He said his steak was just right. No complaints. Heads up though, this isn't a cheap breakfast at $64 before tip. We would go back.
First of all, let me mention Richard. It was our first time in and he made us feel right at home. Professional yet very friendly service. If you love bread...you've got to try the garlic bread. It was a nice atomsphere!
The waitress named Jessica took the experience to another level. All in all a very relaxed atmosphere. The food (buffet breakfast) was subpar but not bad.
Garlic bread was awesome. The service was great too. Richard took great care of us.
Tried this place out one night with my wife and son. Atmosphere is ok, about what you would expect. Everything costs money, even bread. How you can charge $8 for a loaf of bread and expect not to be laughed at I have not figured out yet. I have had better waitstaff at McDonald's. We got sat down, brought water. After we ordered, someone else brought our food (they were not busy, as there were only 3 out tables in the entire place that had someone sitting at them). I took one single bite of my alfredo and pushed it away. It had absolutely zero taste. It was like someone took a jar of Ragu, watered it down, and poured it over pasta. The waitress came up and asked if everything was ok. When I replied no, that the food was disgusting, she literally laughed and walked away. My wife and I were floored at this point. A waiter saw and overheard me ask my wife if she thought I was joking. He came over, asked if everything was ok, and when I said the exact same thing to him, he apologized, removed the plate and left. They asked me if I wanted anything else to eat. I was not going to get anything else, because at this point, and burger sounded better than anything I was going to get from this place. My wife ordered me the Chicken Parnassian. The chicken was ok, the spaghetti was as disgusting as the alfredo. A woman with her breasts half hanging out with what appeared to be a Peanuts cartoon strip tattooed on one of her breasts comes to the table and says "oh, you are who they told me about." When I told her what I thought, she said she would tell the Sous Chef and walked away. Before writing this, I did leave a review on Live's website. I was contacted by a gentleman who identified himself as the GM. He stated in his email that he wanted to make things right and asked us when we could come back. While I was taking a few days to even determine with my wife if we even wanted to go back, he emailed me again asking to follow up on his original email. I emailed this person twice, and tried calling him several times. Left messages, but I am not feeling all warm and fuzzy about hearing back from this guy, the switchboard did not even know who he was. Save your money, go right down the street to Lil'Italiano in the East Bank. Great food, great service, and they do not charge $8 for bread. *Updated 7.1.25* After speaking with a very nice lady named Sara from Live Casino & Hotel, she talked me in to giving the restaurant another chance, and assured me that initial visit was not normal for this restaurant. My wife and I went back this past weekend, and I can tell you that there was a significant difference. The waiter we had was very attentive and addressed every need. Not only with us, but with the other tables he had as well. I do not know where the original waitress was, and I don't care as long as she isn't waiting on my table. I ordered the steak & my wife ordered the salmon. I can tell you that we both enjoyed our meal. I even saw that the manager with the cartoon across her breasts, she was dressed in appropriate attire this evening, and there were no signs of Charlie Brown or Lucy. I would have appreciated it if she would have come to the table and apologized, but that is water under the bridge. It is amazing how several small things can make a visit horrible, but correcting those small things can also make it very enjoyable. We will return, but will stay only if we do not see the first waitress and there is no sign of Charlie Brown and Lucy hanging out again.
Service and the atmosphere was amazing. The recipes need a LOT more flavors to them. The food was very bland and taste like pasta water. I got the fettuccine with shrimp. We asked the waiter for some Cajun seasoning and it still didn’t help. Shane is an amazing server and would love to come back after improvements have been made to the recipes. ;)
Their breakfast potatoes weren't even up to par with Wendy's. They will not cook your eggs according to the way you asked. Don't even know why they asked. Don't ask for extra cheese or anything else. Because you won't get it. Another broken egg needs to teach them how to poach eggs. Don't recommend them at all.
Disappointing Service Despite Beautiful Atmosphere and Great Food I visited Ridotto Grand Café for a birthday brunch celebration. My reservation was for 11:30 AM, and I arrived at 11:25. Unfortunately, there was no host at the front upon arrival, and it took 20 to 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Despite having a 15-minute grace period, we were not spoken to until well after that. Ironically, this delay worked out for two of my guests who were running late — but that shouldn’t be the case at a restaurant of this caliber. After we were finally acknowledged, we had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated, even though our party of nine had a reservation. A party of six was seated before us, which added to the confusion and frustration. There weren’t even tables being cleaned — it just felt very unorganized. Once seated, our server greeted us with an attitude. She didn’t smile, didn’t introduce herself, and the only thing she said was, “How can I help you?” — very flat and rude. We had to ask her if she was okay because her tone and demeanor were so off-putting. She never shared her name (we only got it by reading her name tag), and she lacked even the most basic customer service skills. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks, and although the food and drinks were delicious, the service deteriorated quickly — especially after a large wedding party arrived. Our server completely forgot about us. No check-in, no refills, no offer for to-go boxes or additional orders. We were simply ignored for the rest of the meal. When we were ready to leave, it took over an hour just to get our receipts, and an additional 30 minutes to get our credit cards back — after they had already been processed. Overall, the food and ambiance were excellent, but the service was completely unacceptable. It felt like they rushed to hire anyone just to open the doors, without proper training or standards. I wouldn’t recommend Ridotto Grand Café for anyone expecting good service, especially for a special occasion
On 11/8/25, I ordered the fettuccine with shrimp. The pasta was like rubber/bland! After alerting our server, he apologized / acknowledged it was not cooked properly and took my plate back to the kitchen where he was informed the pasta was all cooked like this and offered me my plate back to pick out the edible noodles. The server did offer me a free dessert! The manager that followed did not have good table side manners (did not address himself or display proper salutations as he approached our table- he stated "is it not good" I showed him the plate of under cooked pasta and he took it to the back - to hopefully make this a learning experience for the cooks. I never saw him again. Our server Richard (27614) was GREAT and went above and beyond to make this right to the best of his ability. They discounted my meal by $4.50. Not wanting a refund just accountability. Your customers deserve what they pay for!
Ate breakfast there. Only 1 server and it took 45 mins to get our food. Coffee and creamer were not refilled very fast. Had 3 other staff cleaning tables. This restaurant needs to rethink how they can better serve their customers! Very slow service. By the time we got our food, it was cold. And for the price I paid, it wasn't worth it.
Service was amazing but the food was terrible. Shane was our server and I wish the food was better but it's not his fault. The food was either didn't have flavor or started like it came from a crappy and cheaper can of chefboyrdee. The only thing good here was the service and water. The supposedly made from scratch sauce was made from scratch in a factory that was watered down to make it profitable. I swear there are better Italian restaurants in the area that is cheaper and you get a huge portion. We used food comp but still would rather go to McDonald's or any other fast food restaurant because the food was that bad. Don't waste your money, you are better off just giving the money to your server at least you will know that they will use it for themselves because they deserve it more than the crappy restaurant food that is overpriced and just tasteless or nasty. I didn't try breakfast but still the bar is very low here
My boyfriends mother made reservations for 6 on Mothers Day two weeks in advance. When we arrived we were still asked to wait, and seated in a side area for about 10-15 minutes while they got us a table. When they did get our table, 2 of the 6 chairs were in the middle of a walk way for servers. We waited about 30 minutes for our food which ig was to be expected on mother's day. I asked for no lemon in my drink to which the server told me "the kitchen said it wouldn't taste right". 5 out of 6 plates on the table were made wrong. They did remake most of the plates, and take the wrong orders off the ticket but considering the total order was damn near $200 before that, I cannot believe the issues we had. For the same thing I could have gotten at Waffle House; and it been made the way I asked for it.
We should’ve turned around and left when we walked in at 7 PM and literally no one was there. There was one couple that left as we were seated. The waiter was nice. The food looked good but lacked in flavor. No salt and pepper in the world I could put on there to give it any kind of flavor. There was no flavor at all with the food and my husband end up getting sick. We went here before back in April and it was so good but this time I don’t know what went wrong, but we will never go back.
Couldn’t go lower on food stars. DON’T EVER GET “Linguine Clams” unless you want water with spaghetti. Literally all it is. Think about that. Pasta was bland and no flavor whatsoever. Ew.
Our server took our drink order and never returned. After 23 minutes we left. Didn't even receive water.
If I could do zero stars I would. We went to ridotto cafe. Worst experience of my entire life. We were the only “colored” folks in this establishment. And they treated us as such. A couple came in 15 min after we did and ordered the same food got their order first. Our waitress Angie was rude and threw sugar packets at me because I asked where our food was seeing we have been waiting well over 40 min for breakfast items. Nothing fancy just some eggs toast and bacon. The manager comes to us with a 30%discount even after it took an extra 20 min to give us the breakfast potatoes after we finished our food. Never again… so disappointed Angie needs training. Either accept all customers or don’t have a job where the establishment offers service to everyone. I’m disgusted and will never come back
Poor customer service didn't get seated for 20 minutes and then sat for another 10-15 minutes the hostess wasent even at the desk for 20 minutes.
terrible. ordered meatballs 13.00 got 2 SMALL obviously frozen meatballs. Wife got a fritata and ended up with scrambled eggs and potatoes. One of the worst experience I have had recently. We didnt even finish our meals. This was saturday 2-22-25. Place was empty
Worst service ever. Walked in waitress Ashley was rude from the start. We finally got to order our food waited 15 mins another couple and a single gentleman walk in order and receive their food before we do. So we ask to speak to a manager the waitress gets mad gets real sassy even throws the sugar at my sister. Mind u it’s been 45 mins we still haven’t received the the full order. lol anyways service is crap I wouldn’t recommend.
Overall management is bad. Long wait times. Tables not bused. Can’t seat for reservations. Always an issue with this restaurant especially during breakfast. They don’t have enough staff and can’t handle busy weekends. If I had a choice would go elsewhere to eat.
Found this place online while looking for a new brunch spot. Made a reservation days prior. Was seated upon arrival on Sun. We sat taking in the decor and chatting about how nice everything looked. Waited about 10 min before anyone came to our table. Once she did she complained that she was tired and was breathing heavily. I even stated hey take a deep breath for a moment to gather yourself. She thanked me for that. Upon observation, we only saw 2 servers and they had quite a few guests to serve. While she was taking our drink order another table was walking out and there was an exchange of words due to them being unsatisfied. This was the 1st red flag. Our water glasses on the table had red lipstick on them. None of us were wearing lipstick. We asked for clean glasses and water. Water was brought out with black specs floating in it. We waited about 25 minutes to order food that never came. Alcoholic beverages were ordered and sat on the bar until they were completely watered down. She did inform us that the bartender had called in, so the manager would be making our drinks if he knew how. She even checked prior to us ordering and he stated he could. They were sent back to be made over. We watched them pour the same drink into new glasses and add to them. At this point I was over the experience. I asked for the manager and he quickly came over. We explained what we saw and how poor the service was. He became defensive and argumentative. Even admited he told the lady to pour the drink in a new glass because he realized he made it wrong and he added the correction on top. I explained sir if the drink was sent back to be remade, that means start from scratch. I left frustrated and highly disappointed. I won't be retuning.
Their menu says fresh homemade pasta, but it comes from a bag pre made that the cooks over cook. So isn't that false advertisement or can casinos just lie to bump up the price?
This review is for the coffee bar side of Ridotto Grand Cafe, we have tried to get a vanilla latte hot and they were out of vanilla this past weekend. The other 4 times we have stayed at live casino we had to wait up to 45 minutes to get a coffee because they only have ONE person who works in there. Why would you sell special coffee such as latte's and bagels and sandwich if you do not have enough people to sell them lol, wow. This one person takes the order takes your money then has to spend 10 minutes making a latte, and if you order a bagel add another 4 minutes she is responsible for all of your ordering needs she has no help. Come on LIVE CASINO make better choices and read the room. The food was flat, hard bagel and not worth the wait or money. Very disappointed we need our fancy coffee when we stay but you can not get it at Live casino. FYI if you do not believe me go at 8am - 10am on friday saturday or sunday and walk by and see the long lines waiting to just get a coffee and breakfast snack!
20.00 for a 3rd rate cold breakfast. Tables not leveled just a waste of time and money. 7 dollar up charge for orange juice. I will stopbefor i get sick. Never will come back k for this. I really would think Live would have better to represent them
Server was great, the problem resides with the food and communication. Took over 15min to get drinks from the bar, we never received our appetizer and my wife and daughters meals came out cold, on top of that they waited until they brought there food out to tell me that they were out of chicken! At this point why even order something else!
The calamari was tough..no one at table could eat it. Pasta table mates ordered was under cooked. To top off generally over priced and disappointing food my credit card was run twice. Once before tip and then with tip added. No apology. Told " oh this (double charge) happens often. One will drop off credit in about a week." what!!! 7 days later it off my account.But..I will never never eat there again. If eat at any other of food services there will pay cash. The worst part was not the disappointing food it was the Ho Hum attitude of management.
