I stopped by this seafood restaurant today after hearing some good things, and I’m so glad I did because the meal was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed. I ordered the seafood combo, fried wings, and fried fish — and every single dish impressed me. The combo had a great selection, and each piece of seafood tasted fresh and flavorful. The spices they use add the perfect kick without being overpowering. The fried wings were one of my favorite parts of the meal — super crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly juicy inside. And the fried fish was cooked beautifully, with that perfect golden crust that lets you know it was fried with care, not rushed.

My aunt and I thoroughly enjoyed the $19.99 crab and shrimp boil. Having visited three times, I took full advantage of the grand opening specials. We opted for the ATL sauce, which incorporates all the seasonings, and selected medium heat, which proved not too spicy. To enhance the experience, we added extra regular butter and fresh lemons. The only drawbacks were the absence of cracker utensils and the use of regular white rice over sticky white rice which makes a notable difference. I am looking forward to visiting again for the fourth time this week!

They are sooooo amazing!!! Friendly and quick service. The portions are generous, full of flavor, and made fresh to order! I highly recommend I believe they are going to be a staple in OKC! Definitely worth the drive from Edmond. We are already planning our next trip to come back & dine! If I could give 10 stars I would! The staff is super attentive everything is made and packaged well!!! Give them a try OKC!

From the moment I walked in, I could feel the excitement in the air—it was their first day open, and they absolutely delivered. The customer service was top tier: welcoming, attentive, and full of heart. Our server was the sweetest soul—knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about making sure we had a great experience. The energy was vibrant, the food was fresh, and the team moved with grace and professionalism. You could tell they’ve poured love into this place. If this is how they begin, I can’t wait to see how they grow. JZ Seafood is already a gem in OKC, and I’ll definitely be back to support this beautiful new spot.

Update: Soon after this review was posted, the manager (I assume) commented and asked me to contact him on their fb page. I did and he responded very quickly. His apology was sincere and he was willing to compensate me for my previous service. I accepted and appreciated. Rating was updated to reflect. Seafood has otherwise not disappointed but wings/chicken is not their thing! The flavor is there and what I like. I had it 3 within the first 2 weeks it was open, but the last time was a disappointment. The first time, no complaints. Second time, the white rice was about as dry as you can get it fresh out the bag before cooking it. Not a huge thing, it was a side dish. This last time (9/27/25) kinda pissed me off. There was absolutely nothing fried about the rice I received. I had a shrimp and sausage combo and added a ½lb of shrimp and ½lb of crawfish. So in total one pound of shrimp, I legit had 7 shrimp! They are decent size but in no way was 7 shrimp a whole pound in total! Pictures below. Opened the bag not a shrimp in sight but it a "pound". Then there were huge chunks of garlic in there. I love garlic but whomever was on prep, sides, and weighing things out needs retraining! I want some seafood today, but am afraid they may not be able to keep up with the demand they have already received. Almost $200 within the first week and a half of the opening to have been disappointed that quickly on 2 of the 3 orders I placed. I may give them another shot (because of the location convenience), but Pier 88 may continue to get my business, especially because they have the manilla clams. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Well, my service experience was OK. They were very very slow, but a friend of mine did not experience great service. She waited for a very long time right after I did and then they helped a customer who came in after her. I do believe it was just an honest mistake, but they must do better to be organized and keep track of orders. I got a seafood boil. The flavor was good. It was just a little salty the fried rice I could taste a strong burnt smell. The shrimp did not have any seasoning on the fried shrimp. I would go back because it was just their first day. I understand how it is and I think what time they will improve
