Best Carne Asada ever!

OMG! I went to Ensenada surf & turf yesterday and here I am - back there again today. Their rice is so moist, packed with flavor and oh so soft! I tried their fish tacos and the tortillas and fish were so light and fluffy and sauces were on point! This food tastes so clean if that makes sense! Not heavy and greasy. Their carnitas burrito was bomb! So was the carne asada quesadilla!! You’re missin out if you don’t try this eatery.

Our local fish tacos place we always gravitate to! I feel like the prices are fair for the amount of food you get! It does get busy on Fridays during Lent season so keep that in mind.

Let me tell you, this hidden spot is a 10/10 for the Fish Ensenada style tacos… Soooo Yummy 😋. To add to this nice spot, you also have nice condiments to go along with your fish tacos.. Salsas are also yummy they have different varieties , make sure you ask for the chipotle cream for the fish tacos omg soo good! Place is clean and customers service 10.. We had Samuel taking our orders he was very attentive and very friendly. His Custumer service OUTSTANDING!! Thank you so much again! We will be definitely coming back!! Updated once again. We returned for the Fish and Shrimp Basket this week, and oh man! THE BEST! The fried shrimp is likely the best I've ever had, ever! I've already talked about how good their fish and chips are. The half and half basket is on a whole other level. Nothing they serve fried us greasy! The portion are so big we always end up taking food home. I rewarmed the chips, fish and shrimp using the Convection feature on my oven, set at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, and the food tasted like it had just been made at the restaurant. Amazing! Updated again today...we were back and tried the Fish and Chips. Oh man! The best we've found around here or within many miles. The batter on the fish is super flavorful and not in the least greasy! The chips, or fries are equally as good. They use a lovely white fish, that I believe is Cod, and wow it's SO good! They also offer a fried Fish and Fried Shrimp Basket with Fries that I'll be sure to try next time, making it much easier for me to make a menu decision when I'm able to get both of my favorite food selections there! Updated to say we've been back several times. Husband tried the fish tacos. They were outstanding! Also, we love their chips and salsa! The chips are fresh. Served slightly warm and lightly salted to perfection. The salsa is so flavorful! Unlike many restaurants where the chips and salsa are free, this restaurant charges a very small fee, and they are SO worth it! Our first visit today and it sure won't be our last! What a pleasant surprise. My fried shrimp tacos plate was excellent. Served with rice and beans and a beverage. The portion so generous I could not finish it. All for $12 and change! Unheard of! And those tacos were loaded with Shrimp! Hubby also had a shrimp taco, he loved it, and a huge seafood cocktail that's a meal in itself. We both waddled out swearing we were never going to eat again because we were so full, and all for @ $38. The service is great, you won't wait long for your order. The restaurant is spotless and the staff is friendly and professional. Take note, they are closed on Mondays. A great find and we will be back.

We were in the area of Chino Hills & my Wife wanted some breaded shrimp tacos & there is not to many great places that you can get them similar to El taco Nazo/La Bufadora etc… with some fried yellow peppers on the side! Their Aqua the Pina was one of the best period! $6.50 for a large but it’s natural Hilda said She made it with 3 pineapples & I believe her because She is very personable & nice!.. The tacos/Aqua & Service was phenomenal! Wednesday $2.99 fish taco or regular price $4.50 for the shrimp and fish I believe. I had 2 fish & my Wife had 2 shrimp. The salsa wasn’t the best but it was really good!!.. 5 Star in our books!.. Ty Hilda!..🙏👍🙌🇺🇸

The only negative on this restaurant is the advertisement. It's very hard to notice if the businesses actually open because of the tinted windows. However, once inside the atmosphere is very fresh. The service is very good but food now this is a hidden gem. This is like when you're cross the border and hitting ensenada on a wonderful weekend all over again, right here in chino hills.. Try Wednesday. I hear it's got a great deal on fish tacos and boy they are good.

This restaurant is staffed by some really nice people who are always helpful. I originally gave this place 4 stars, but after so many orders, we just have never had any issues. People we bring love this place and they have good reason why. kaitlyn was awesome. Every time I come in, she Is so informative and knows the menu. She's one of the reasons why my family loves coming back. First off, the water. It’s refreshing and feels real, without sweetened additives. Lime and Cucumber You can see from the containers that they actually use a lot of it. Now for the food; without exception, everything appears handmade. The fish tacos 🌮 are awesome. With how hot and fresh everything looks, plus the fresh taste, it’s hard to find any negatives here. They have tacos, burritos, tostadas, nachos, and ceviches.

Best taco spot in Chino Hills hands down! I've been to them all, then Senor Baja left and that was probably the best spot we had until now. I had the Baja fish tacos, Asada and Carnitas and all were great! Probably some of the best Asada, fish and Carnitas in town! The Carnitas were so juicy and delicious unlike most places where the carnitas are a little on the dry side these were very tasty and succulent. They use real asada unlike other tacos spots in town it's not fatty either super tasty. The fish is bomb you have to get at least one fish taco. They make fresh Piña agua fresca that's sooo good. They also have the Jose Olé drinks with free refills!! Oh and the rice is fire!! I am not a fan of peas and carrots in my rice (it's the 7 yr old in me) but OMG was it tasty and the texture of the rice was amazing 😍😍😍😍 took me too long to try this place out. No need to drive out of town for good tacos anymore!!

My husband got their Baja taco which is on a flour tortilla and is excellent and their San Lucas ceviche and this thing is so hot but it is so mouthwatering delicious 🤤. We have definitely found our new seafood spot and will be going again soon to try their other food items. The price was also great for the quality and quantity of food you get. (I LOVE tipping them, because they REALLY deserve it! ) Daily specials and reasonably priced! (Taco Tuesday’s are my favorite!!! ) I don’t know why I haven’t brought my favorite husband (current and hopefully last!) here. (I’m currently working on being more thoughtful. You place your order at the counter, you get a number and they bring it to your table. One suggestion...get a menu while you wait in line so you can decide what your order will be once you get to the counter.

Their food was good but I ordered a shrimp combo plate and the grilled shrimp was waaaay too spicy for me. I went back to get a couple of more tacos that weren’t spicy but that added $8 more dollars to my already $13 plate so my dinner was just rice and beans. Ugh.

LOVED the shrimp taco. Mahi taco was a tad fishy because they didn’t take off the silver skin. Not a huge fan of the steak flavor or texture. Also didn’t like the rice and beans at all. Expected better for the price but would go back just for the shrimp taco.

They are incapable of properly taking down or serving an order correctly. Twice now my to go orders have been incorrect. Unfortunately, I live out of the area, so if I go it’s a quick drive by only to find out the order is incorrect when I get home. I think the food is good, but because of their service I’ll never be back.

Ok food and service, I understand it's a fast food Mexican restaurant but inside the Mariachi music is way way too loud. It's super annoying. Not everyone likes that kind of music, so keep it low falks!!! That's the reason I GAVE 2

Unprofessional takeout service. I placed a call ahead to order food for takeout, and was briefly placed on hold. It sounded a little busy from the other end and I overheard some training procedures for the new hire. What is horrible was the fact that they forgot that I have been waiting on the phone to the point where I ended up visiting the place with the call intact. Phone duration was 32 minutes! The manager nor supervisor was present to address the issue. Fortunately I got my order fulfilled within the quoted 5 minutes, but I am leaving a negative rating for not hearing an apology from the man that took my call.
