Just finished walking home. Wow! What a great collission of art, music, food and beverage. I was shazaming all the tunes. We started with Ceviche. Fresh. Just the right amount of citrus. Octopus, Shrimp and Fish. So Good. Candace followed with the Camerones' Ajo and I went alacarte with potato flautas and pork tamale. The flautas perfectly fired. Thin, crispy. Wisp of oil corn and perfect mashed papas. The tamale was beyond my conception of tamale. The art is off the hook. The Music is perfect for the moment The design is thoughtful. relaxing. Service prompt, thoughtful, enaging but not self indulgent. Candace had a Lemon Drop Martini. It was excellant. I decided I must finsih with churo. Delicous. My only suggestion: get local honey to go with the tea. Absolutely wonderful and the salsa!
They squeezed Us in with a large party on a Saturday which is awesome of them and very accommodating. We had went to a couple other places that told us it was not possible. We sat on the patio the food was great, I got the ceviche. It was fantastic
Was in Big Bear for the weekend and found this restaurant just recently. I must say this restaurant didn't disappoint. We arrived, and within a few minutes, they got us a table in less than 5 minutes, and they took good care of us. The food portions were great and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was magnificent.
We were thoroughly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the food. My wife and I both have many years cooking and enjoying Mexican cuisine in Mexico and the States. Prices are a little high, yet the caliber of food is worth it. Hopefully they'll be in business for a while here. Tried Barbecoa, Carne Asada, Enchiladas, salsa were delicious, beans and rice authentically prepared! Andele Pues!
First time at this restaurant. We ate on the pet friendly patio. Food snd service was great and they had a couple of Doggie menu items which our pups loved.
Salsa and chips to start was great bosh salsas tasted good, overall the food also followed suite. Along with the great food that service was also great our waiter consistently checked on us providing water refills and making sure we had all we need. Had a nice time would suggest to anyone looking for some good Mexican food up here
Fantastic food, fantastic service!! Definitely a highlight of our Big Bear trip!
They have a couple nice outdoor patios which are heated. I really like their salsa and tortillas. Staff is friendly. Located enough outside the village that it is not crazy busy on weekends and you can get a table in a reasonable amount of time.
This Mexican restaurant is a really good place to eat at. The food is really good, cooked to perfection, the wait time isn't long, which is very nice considering it was during lunch which can be a pretty busy hour, and the food can take some time because they cook it so that it is perfect to eat. The service always makes sure that everything is good. Great experience there!
This place is great! I’m so glad i tried this place out! The food is great quality and made so well. Very delicious. Definitely coming back for more! The service is really good and the restaurant is clean and nice. There’s a really nice outdoor seating area and also inside dining at this time.
Great place for groups. Outside seating available with some shady areas. Food was excellent, got an asada burrito enchilada style (I order it half green half red salsa) and a round of margaritas for the 4 of us. Others ordered tortilla soup and shrimp cocktail. Everyone was happy with their food and drinks!
We just left a delicious dinner at Hacienda in Big Bear, so good! Friendly service, and the food is so good. Delicious guacamole! I ordered the shrimp quesadilla off the happy hour menu, good size and great price. The family loved it too. They have some neat masks on display too! Kids enjoyed that. Highly recommend Hacienda in Big Bear!
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food tasted delicious and the drinks were also very good. I simply loved it! 😃
Hacienda Grill is THE Mexican spot to eat at in Big Bear! The dishes are amazing, the space fits big parties, and there’s plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. I personally love the chicken taquitos and blended mango margarita—it comes in a huge cup and they do not go light on the alcohol! Lastly, Laura was a delight and had great customer service😁
I’ve been coming to Big Bear for 20+ years, but my dining experiences have remained largely in downtown Big Bear. As we rented an Airbnb with another family farther east of the city center, we discovered Hacienda Grill. What a find! Although we were a group of 8 w/o a reservation, they were able to accommodate us quickly and had a the kids at an adjacent booth with the adults right next to them. Perfect! The house margarita pitcher was on the spot, our server Dave was Fantastic providing menu advice and taking the kids orders, our food was delicious and the homemade chips were too addictive! Can’t miss coming here!
This place is a must on any trip to Big Bear. Hacienda Grill delivered like a champion. The food was great, the service was great and the music on point. We had barbacao, carnitas and echilada style (wet) burritos, awesome. The decor is mainly composed of beautiful paintings by artist David Silvah that brought back my best childhood memories. This place is very popular with boxers training in Big Bear. I guarantee you will enjoy your visit.
Amazingly accomodating staff was able to sort out a 10 top on the fly for us. Food and service was excellent!
We came to this place by accident and we're we so happy to finally find an excellent Mexican Restaurant that I haven't eaten since I was in El Paso where the Mexican Food there is amazing and to find a Real Mexican Food Place in Southern California and had the Best Chili Verde with the best Beans and Rice which was delicious and the next time we drive up to Big Bear we will Definitely come back to order the best Mexican Food that in my opinion is probably the Best Mexican Restaurant that we found here in Southern California. We have told my friends and family who live out in Southern California to go there whenever they drive up the Beautiful Mountains in Big Bear.
Really a very nice experience. The food was great and the service was quick and very pleasant. We had our grandson with us and our server was excellent. He was quick with a refill of our drinks and chips.. which BTW, very good chips and salsa.
I just ordered the Spring rolls and we had.Crunchy chicken, tacos, rice and beans.Everything was cooked to perfection.. Is best lunch in a while! And less money than fast food places up here Really good drinks as well I highly Recommend the place👍🏻
Not sure why this place only got a 4.2. Should be 4.8 or higher. Excellent fresh food and amazing chips and salsa. My wife had the taco plate, 4 tacos and she ate 3, which she never does. I had a chimi and it was excellent. Great service too. Definitely will be returning…
Ordered the Molcajete for me and my fiancé. It was super delicious. I was craving something like this. It comes with chicken, carne asada, bacon wrapped shrimp, cheese, cebollitas, cactus, chorizo, tomatoes. Comes with 7 tortillas. We chose corn. I don't know what the count is for flower. A side of rice and beans also. This meal serves 2 people. It is also noted on the menu. Highly recommend this dish. Environment is nice and the service was good.
Good food and drinks. My food was well seasoned and tasted great. Drinks where on point. If your in the mood for good Mexican food while up in Big Bear this place will not disappoint.
Christmas-y and cute. Super fast service. Got seated immediately. Received drinks immediately. (El burro and smoky margarita were both good) The complimentary chips and salsa were yum. Got food 15 min after ordered. The hot salsa I requested for was very hot (very rare that it’s actually that hot) And while my shrimp fajitas were overly oily, I thought they were super flavorful. I enjoyed the rice and beans as well. Would definitely come here again.
Hacienda was a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant. We were welcomed by the nicest staff. They quickly seated us. They bought out chips and salsa with water as we sat. The green salsa was my fave! It was so spicy I loved it! The tortilla soup came out nice and hot for this cold weather. Loved the huge triangle chucks of cheese. They load the soup with so much chicken too. My fish taco was delicious! Loved the grilled ahi choice they put in it. I added that green salsa to it. Didn’t get a chance to eat my carne asada taco because I was so full. But because it had so much meat I added some on top of my Mexican rice and green salsa and it was BOMB.COM! The rice was my favorite because it was so fluffy and yummy. You could just taste the tomato in the rice and slight garlic. My husband devoured his enchiladas. I tasted the pulled beef one and it was yummy. Nice and tender too! At the end they brought me a chocolate covered strawberry. I was so full but wanted dessert so this nice surprise was a great treat! I loved their hospitality. Whenever we visit we are definitely going to stop by again! The whole meat total was $49.
There was a bigger wait for bigger parties, but it is definitely worth the wait! The food had that authentic Mexican flavor. I have 5 kids all with different tatses and they all were satisfied. The staff was very friendly. I was impressed by the manager. He was very on top of the wait list/time. He was helping with the table cleaning to get people seated faster, suggested bar seating for adults to avoid waiting, che ked in on his staff. Restaurant had amazing decor also. AMAZING!
We had 3 alcohol drinks Michelada was blah they put ice and it tasted like mostly clamato, I had a El matador that was bkmb and I had a paloma that one was delicious too. I got a Molcajete too that was delicious the Guacamole was so good but for the amount they give you I thought it was expensive. The Campechana was alright it needed a bit more flavor
Great service, nice facility. Menu had a good mix of options, and the chips and salsa were awesome. The chips seemed to have a bit of a chili lime salt seasoning, and the salsa seemed fresh and homemade, like a good Pico. Loved that you could get the burritos sauced "enchiladas style" and both the red and green sauces were good. The green is stated as hot, but is not over tye top heat, so those who like even moderate heat should be good for the green. Highly suggested location
Amazing mexican restaurant with the best atmosphere! Good music and over the place is gorgeous! we had a lovely server named laura who was extremely polite and overall great company! ( side note ; we read there was a 18% tip taken out on 6+ guest orders on menu before hand so we didn’t know wether to tip or not, so sorry in advance if we didn’t.) But please give my girl a raise, she is so sweet! 🙏
Amazing food, amazing staff, and the restaurant alone was impressive. We ordered a seafood combination plate (one fish taco and one shrimp taco) and came with rice and beans. The other was a barbacoa enchiladas 😋 also came with rice and beans. Everything was delicious and juicy. It all tasted authentic and freshly cooked and tasted like it's all in-house. The chips and salsa as a warmup were greatly seasoned and perfectly crisp. The michelada modelo negra was a great balance of flavors. I would definitely recommend it, and we gave compliments to the chef.
What a great place. We did not try their food, unfortunately. But it was very cool. We just want to have a drink. However, at the same minute, we sit to the table we also got complimentaty tortilla chips. Waiter also turned on fire place for us. Definitely will visit this place to check their food.
We recommend! Great service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. We shared the molcajete and didn’t finish it! But it was so delicious! I also had a skinny margarita and it hit the spot! Friendly, quick service. We were immediately sat and the host brought chips and salsa as she took us to our table. The food server was so nice and quick. Thank you for a nice dinner!
It was delicious,I had the octopus and shrimp and it was amazing.Srlervice wàs perfect and the drinks were strong.Love this place and I'm a 44 yr local 😁
We came in on a Saturday night when they were super busy (1+ hour wait for a table), but the host suggested we go to the bar area. A small table for 2 had just opened up and was immediately cleared and cleaned for us. Our server was amazing! Very kind, attentive, and polite gentleman who brought us delicious chips and salsa quickly. This restaurant was perhaps the best I've ever been to in terms of speed of service but also quality of the food. Everything was top notch and came out very promptly. Yet our server definitely didn't rush us to finish up either. The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers to take home plus we left stuffed. Would highly recommend! Just make a reservation in advance if you go during their peak hours and are a party larger than 2 people.
When we arrived we were told it would be an hour wait, which we were okay with. We waited maybe 30mns before being called in and seated my a friendly hostess. Once seated the waiter took care of our drinks right away. Food came in a timely manner and was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I'm definitely coming back.
Hacienda Grill was an absolute delight! The molcajete was phenomenal—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Easily one of the best I’ve had! On top of the amazing food, the service was just as impressive. Alexander, our server, was incredibly friendly and kind, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you're in Big Bear and craving delicious Mexican food with great service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🌮🔥👏
We came because of a recommendation from a Vons Market Supervisor, Mark. He highly recommended this place, and he was not wrong. We came around 6 pm and we quickly were seated. Food was good, the servers were attentive, the place was clean and had a lively vibe. Guess we found a new favorite place to eat here in Big Bear whenever we visit.
I will definitely be back great service, love the mirror on the bathroom, our waitress was super kind.
Phenomenal food and our waiter was amazing! I got the enchiladas suizas.
Went to celebrate my parents anniversary. Food tasted great and not overpriced. Good experience.
Always come out here when I'm staying in big bear. I enjoy their Pina coladas and have tried various dishes for the entree. Very big portions so my partner and I usually share an appetizer and an entree. This time we tried their fried ice cream dessert which was phenomenal. Always pretty crowded so you know it's a local favorite too
I had eaten at this restaurant in 2025 and decided to take some friends. I fly small airplanes so we flew over from Las Vegas to eat and again it’s the he best Mexican food I have ever had. Try #54. Great service too bartender was very helpful. Thank you !
The food here was absolutely incredible! Easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. Every dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Pablo makes the best margaritas I’ve ever had…the skinny spicy margarita is so damn good, I’m still thinking about it. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and a great overall vibe. Highly, highly recommend.
A great Mexican restaurant option in Big Bear! We really enjoyed our meal at Hacienda Grille. I had a spicy margarita, which was delicious, and Ray had a blended peach margarita, which was refreshing and smooth. We ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, and they were very good — perfectly cooked meats, nicely grilled tomatoes, tasty beans, and good rice. The chips were definitely homemade, and the salsa was excellent, which always makes a big difference. Portions are generous — one order of fajitas was more than enough for two people, which is great to know when ordering. Our waitress Bebe was really sweet and provided great service throughout the meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars. If you’re looking for good Mexican food in Big Bear with generous portions and great service, Hacienda Grille is a solid choice.
Really like this place we go every time we are in Big Bear. I got the soft tacos plate with chicken, it was huge so much I had to bring a couple of the tacos home. Husband got enchiladas they make their own sauce, don't expect canned it's definately homemade. Salsa is good and it's very clean including the bathrooms. win-win
Came to this town to celebrate my birthday, craving for Mexican food and we tried a couple places, this is the best experience so far! The price is fair, and portions are pretty big, and food variety in one plate is so good. I love my al pastor and the virgin peach margarita! Definitely coming back next time for our vacation ❤️😋😋😋😋 and they keep the chips warm and the salsa is delicious 🤤
Absolutely delicious! Isn't even begin to say how much I enjoyed this place while in big bear with my mom. I drive by this place often and can not believe i never ventured in. The service for me around 3pm was very quick. We were seated almost immediately at an ada friendly table indoors. Chips and salsa were ready to go as soon as we sat. We are able to dive into two different flavorful salsa's . One for those who dont like spice and the second charred to perfection with a spicy kick. I opted for a dulce jalapeño margarita (water melon flavor) it was absolutely delicious. Muddled jalapeños a heavily tajin rimmed glass touched add that touch of citric spice with each sip and the sweet crisp freshness of watermelon tasted like the Mexican can shots / childhood candies. This was a perfect pairing to my carne asada. Picking the perfect margarita was tricky and I wish they offered flights due to the amazing cocktail line up . My food was phenomenal. So much flavor in each bite. My carne asada marinated to perfection, tender and juicy. Rice and beans tasted like home cooking. My mom opted for steak fajitas and let me tell you. The delicious aroma coming from the hot sizzling plate tickled at your senses. My mouth watered at the smell of steak sizzled onions and peppers . Just reminiscing as I write has me drooling. The steak and peppers were all tender and full of delicious flavor. Customer service was very hospitable and my overall experience was incredible. I ate so well I needed a nap. Here's the real kicker though. I never felt full , stuffed or bloated. I felt satisfied and when it comes to dining thats how you want to feel. Come hungry leave happy. A perfect place for datenight, solo, work friends, family whatever the occasion its now a must for me.
Hacienda Grill is a lovely restaurant with a large bar area, nice tables and booths with nice outdoor seating as well . Friendly staff and service with nice menu options to please everyone plus great drinks. We ordered the cervece and an order of carne asada tacos and their special Margaretta drink. Food was excellent. Cervece was so fresh and delicious with large prices of fish and the food was presented beautifully. The tacos were delicious and excellent as well. Food is made with fresh ingredients and portions are large and filling. Everything was excellent . Highly recommend.
Super good! Top 3 places in Big Bear hands down. Lived up here awhile now and always enjoy the food. Had their catering before to, was also good. I would recommend the molajacete (sic). The sauce in the middle is absolutely delicious and the beef/chicken and Chorizo are killer. Definitely a place to take the family. Oh and the margs are top notch. I like the Flaca.
We had an amazing experience at Hacienda Grill in Big Bear! Our server, Pablo, was incredibly professional, polite, and attentive—he truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. I ordered the campechana with shrimp and octopus, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced, capturing everything that makes authentic Mexican seafood so memorable. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Big Bear and craving great service and even better food!
Been here twice with the most recent being July 2025. I had the chicken enchiladas and I would rate them a 4 out of 5 only because they could have been a little hotter, other than that they were great. Wife had street tacos and she enjoyed them. For dessert we had the churro with ice cream and it was a great finisher for a great meal. Service was as you would want to expect. Definitely would come back again.
Had a delicious late dinner with the kids. Ordered the carnitas plate, and everything was savory, down to the grilled tomato and seasoned grilled jalapeño on the side! Carnitas were not fatty, not dry, and had lots of flavor. My boyfriend ordered the housemade enchiladas and added chicken, they were nicely filled and the sauce was excellent. The house margarita was strong and not overly sweet. The kids inhaled the chips and salsa. To the last bite, we enjoyed everything we ate!
This restaurant was suggested to us by our Abb host for our first night's dinner night. What a treat! Parking was ample and free. We Sat outside patio area since we had our doggies with us. We ordered fish ceviche, a SW salad, and the molcajete. Check out the pictures and videos. All food was seasoned and tasty and came out beautiful. Even their chips and salsa are on point.
Hacienda is where your taste buds go when they want to fiesta. The food? Let’s just say if tacos were a love language, Hacienda is fluent. Every bite felt like a warm hug from someone’s abuela. The service was so friendly, I half-expected them to pull up a chair and join us for dinner. Quick, kind, and somehow always nearby right when you need more chips—true tortilla telepathy. The decor is a vibe: vibrant colors, beautiful art, and just enough flair to make you feel like you’re somewhere special without getting poked by a sombrero. Even the restrooms were spotless - which, let’s be honest, is a rare and noble achievement in the restaurant world. If you’re craving great Mexican food with charm, style, and salsa that slaps - Hacienda is your spot.
In town for the weekend. Found this place on Google gave it try. Came here on a Saturday night around 8ish pm waited about 35-40mins. Seated for a group of 9. Chips and Salsa were good. All the food we ordered was delicious . I got a Paloma drink was actually great😋 Itzell our waitress was super nice and friendly. Definetly would come back here again.
The food was incredible and very large portions. The meals are quite reasonable for how much food they give. I was the only one in our party of four to finish all the food, the rest had leftovers. They have two types of salsa, both are very good. I prefer the hot, smokey one. The waiter was checking on us very frequently. The tacos were great. Tamales were amazing. The flautas were filling (I had chicken). We have always seen this place but never tried it before so it was nice to try. The decorations were really awesome. The artwork is amazing....but the food is even better. The beans were really tasty, too.
Had an amazing time here. Had a large party of 12 people, service was absolutely amazing. \n\nTailored to all of our needs. Food came out quick and was reasonably priced and tasted great.

Fantastic Mexican restaurant. We come here every time we visit the area and or hiking. They have the best crispy chicken tacos and enchiladas around. Good drinks, too. Highly recommend.
Plenty of parking. Minimal wait time. Friendly service. clean restaurant. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very good.

Good food probably the best I've had in big bear . Ordered the chicken fajitas they were full of flavor but a little bit dry . Came with beans and rice that were very good . My husband ordered a wet burrito wished it came with more enchilada sauce but it was a good size . Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty . Service was amazing they checked on us several times and were very friendly . Restaurant was slow but we went around 530 . We drove by Saturday and the parking lot was packed that's why we choose to come back .
The food was a little bland for my liking. But it was good. I did enjoy the food. Rice was good, chile relleno was good, enchilada a little over cooked, beans were bland and relied on the cotija cheese for some flavor, and the shredded chicken taco was just relying on it's juices. Juicy chicken, no flavor. Just tasted like chicken. I grew up with flavorful Mexican food. On the other hand. The service was amazing. The plating was awesome. The Margarita was to sweet. To much whatever juice they use. Sweet lemonade or high fructose corn syrup lime juice, whatever they used it over powered the margarita. The big winner was the stunning and beautiful atmosphere, and again, the service was great. The staff were polite, smiling, and happy to serve. I loved the staff and the atmosphere. They really seemed to enjoy working here.
We have dined at Hacienda a handful of times (every time we are in Big Bear) and their food is always delicious. My favorite is the Carnitas plate; the meat is tender and flavorful. I forget to take food photos, I'm always hugry when I'm here so I eat it right away. 😆Margaritas are also delicious and strong 😄. Our waiter tonight is Dallas; very accommodating and attentive, he was great overall. The other staff were also friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything was pretty good but a little pricey. Not too surprising though considering the location. Micheladas are really good and the shredded beef burrito was alright. Would definitely consider going back but they were packed on Sunday so get there early or check for reservations.
Experience was good, not great because we waited a kinda long time (over 30mins) to get approached to take our order, even just on our drinks, it's so disrespectful as paying customers. The apps took awhile to come out as well, and so did our food. I definitely understand when restaurants are short staffed, but let the customers know what's going on so that way when our food and stuff is taking long to come out, we wont be mad, complaining or annoyed lol. However no one said anything. But all in all, the food did taste delicious, my Margaritas De LA Casa (meaning the type of drink I order from the menu) was so delicious. I did do an upgrade (which they charge additional $5 to upgrade to top shelf liquor- which is better and worth it, because the cheap liquor gives me headaches 😬😵). Service for our first time sucked, but since the food and drinks where very yummy & delicious, I will definitely come back with hopeful that our service will be better. Step up on your service Hacienda!!
This place is really beautiful inside. The paintings and photos are gorgeous and really add to the ambiance. The bar is great and offered a great selection of tequilas, mezcal, wines, and margaritas. The sals afoe the chips is clearly homemade and delicious. The totopos are crunchy and seasoned. The only thing I would say needs work is the rice. It's a little too mushy and needs more tomato sauce. Got the molcajete and an albodnigas soup. Both were delicious.
Drove by on our way to our cabin and decided to come back for dinner. We were happy with our decision. The service was great, the staff was very attentive. The food was also delicious, it's not the best Mexican food I have ever had. But it was really good and worth the price. We will be coming back here next time we are in Big Bear!
It is one of the best restaurantes I have been to on the mountain. The atmosphere is nice the food was great .We had asada and al pastor burrito amazing we also got taquitos for appetizer the chips and salsa were also very good and so were the shrimp enchiladas ,the green sauce is really lemony and good but the red sauce was a little bit better I would recommend getting a burrito wet with red sauce and the fried ice cream for dessert what's a 10 out of 10
The drinks are delicious and you can even ask to take it home if you don't finish it. The food was good, nothing special. I think the prices are a bit high for the quality but that's me. The place had TVs all around so you are able to watch any games that are on. They also have outside seating and is dog friendly. The service was great. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
We came here because we stopped at a restaurant that had nobody in it. We were happy with out greet, very happy. Waitress was nice until we returned a margarita, then she flipped. She seemed to be agitated with us the rest of our stay. I ordered cheese enchilada and chile relleno. Cheese enchilada was ice cold relleno was warm. I don’t feel I should tip for cold food and feel bad if I say it’s cold. I didn’t need the waitress attitude. But food still had nice flavor. I did appreciate the hosts nice welcoming attitude., also when i exited, very nice. #haciandagrill #california #bigbear
Food was tasty, a little pricey but overall it was a nice place to dine in. Art on the wall was nice 🇲🇽

Haven't been here in awhile... used to be one of our favorite spots in big bear. prices got crazy for Mexican food so we stopped going for awhile. We decided to try it last night... disappointing! …
Basic but excellent quality food. Comp chips and salsa. Interesting twists on your typical margaritas and Paloma's. Quick, pleasant service. Indoor and outdoor tables available. Sports on the tvs.
Amazing service. Dog friendly. Offered to bring her a water bowl. We were well taken care of. I got the carne asada burrito and it was good, not amazing. I wish I would have tried the street tacos
My wife and I have only been here once. The food was great. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was non confrontational. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Big Bear? Stop by the …

Nice upscale traditional Mexican food. A verbal greeting from staff took awhile. Three people saw us and just walked away without acknowledging us. The third person who walked by was busy carrying things, but said high and welcomed us. My guess is the young man who initially saw us just didn't have enough experience. He was actually getting our table ready and finally spoke to us within that process, but he didn't really communicate as to what he was doing when he left the front "greeting" area where it says wait to be seated. So, I was pleasantly surprised when he said your table is ready. That and when the waitress had asked how things were mid way through our meal and I reminded her that I was still waiting for the salsa I had asked for. I could tell by her expression she knew that was on her. Both those issues are not a huge deal and I have no problem with people learning and getting better at what they do. I make mistakes, we all do. As for everything else... Superb. Our waitress discuss my Pop's gluten free request. Which is three things on the menu BTW; Shrimp Enchiladas with green sauce. Note that the red sauce uses flour. Then two other Enchiladas on the menu. I had a cheeseburger which was great. I eat a lot of Mexican food and just had my mind on a burger as that is what we went out for only to find they were closed. Also, my Pop was in a wheelchair and we were able to get him into a booth. He can stand a little bit is recovering from a fall. The booth tables can be moved which is how we got him into the booth. If you can not get out of your wheelchair there are plenty of table you can pull right up to. Also the wheelchair ramp is super easy to use.
Contemplated a 2 Star but here are my findings: Nice atmosphere, seated promptly, advised of the fresh salsa bar while being seated by the hostess. 10 minutes later, I had to ask the waitress that walked right passed us to clear the next table over if we could get some type of greeting or service with at least some water to chase our chips and salsa. When I asked the blonde waitress, she stated she was going to get someone for us. She ended up coming back and handling us the rest of the night. Kinda killed our vibe as we sat with 3 adults and 2 youngins waiting 10 minutes without anything. Food was as expected, nothing special from rice/beans, taco and enchiladas. Never got drink refills on point. Always had to ask the waitress for water. Bathrooms were clean, salsa bar was subpar, we've had much better. I know I'm rambling but I still can't get over the no service until we asked.
It was just ok. Had the Enchilada Suiza and a margarita. The margarita was too rich and obviously from a bottle. The enchiladas were pretty good although they seemed small and scrawny the rice was mushy like it was over cooked. The chips and salsa were pretty good. Pretty nice building and it was comfortable inside. Like I said it was just ok.
My soup came cold and took a while to get a new one as they kept forgetting. Chicken tortilla soup with queso fresco the second soup was warm and a clearer broth as the first one was thick like spaghetti sauce, not my favorite. Very busy restaurant with hard to get service. Not sure if I'll be back.
Place is okay nothing special drinks are good, the salsa seemed watered down, the water they brought appeared to be straight from the tap… carnitas burrito was dry lacing flavor and fillings, flaut…

Unfriendly little critter in there to the right. Was still moving. Our waitress was polite and great until we brought this to her attention, totally ignored us after that. Manager apologized for the food and compensated the entire bill. Thank you, but shouldn't have happened and waitress should have been more responsive than ignore us thereafter.
Started off promising, but went downhill fast. When we arrived, the service was friendly and welcoming. There were fresh chips and a nice salsa already waiting at the table, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t hold up. My food came out cold, and the margarita I was served was tiny and tasted bad. I watched other guests being served full-sized margaritas with an extra pour on the side, while I got the smallest one on the menu. The server recommended a flavored version and said she’d have no problem bringing me a regular one if I didn’t like it—but when I said I didn’t, her attitude changed completely. She became cold and dismissive after that. They charged a ridiculous amount for guacamole, ignored multiple requests to pack one of the meals to-go, and the final bill came to $180 before tip for just four people and one to-go meal. Way overpriced for cold food and poor service. We won’t be back.
I transport items all over the country and love trying new places. Will not be going back unfortunately. Got the food togo. Beans were like soup as if they were sitting in a pot too long.. no guacamole or sour cream in my burrito. Street tacos and salsa was ok. Civeche had some pieces in it that did not taste fresh. Down the street Nuevo & Sonora Mexican restaurants are much better & reccomended.
We waited for an hour just to get seated and another hour and a half to get are food and people that came after us got there food first and all we ordered was soup . And the food was okay.
I don’t recommend hispanics coming here the food is very white washed and the food tastes like cafeteria food. I’d maybe recommend this place to a white person more but like myself and other hi…
First time visiting this restaurant and last time. Service was very poor. Didn't check on my table 1 time. Had to ask for napkins, lime, the check, and to go box. The food was bland . None seasoned food. Took forever and wasn't that busy when I got there with my date. Not authentic Mexican food. 100/100 would not recommend. Spent 100$ and regret coming here. Ladies restroom was a big mess. So much potential yet let down so bad. If you think this is good Mexican food you're getting ripped off.
