Great reliable inexpensive food McDonald's is famous for. The staff there was very welcoming and friendly. I liked that. There's something about the atmosphere I can't quite put my finger on. I think it's just a little dark.

There was this young man that greeted us as soon as we walked in so polite I should have gotten his name. I've never had such a great experience in a Mc Donald's like I did there. You need more customer service like the kindness he put out

We couldn’t not get the app to load for our rewards coupon. It kept appearing as a issue. Nancy at the window was gracious enough to request her managers assistance. Without a fuss Nancy and her manager were able to pull it up for me and assist in the reward. This type of above and beyond service is extremely rare and we highly appreciate their patients in helping us with the technical difficulties. Excellent customer service!!

If you are expecting regular McDonald's then you won't be disappointed. Just a regular "what you should expect" here. Service is regular. Food as you expect. Speed of service is normal. Nothing out of the ordinary just simple and easy.

We went twice in the same day for two different kids. The staff were nice and efficient each time, even when one of the cars in front of us was taking a long time and then they dumped a whole bunch of trash out their window. They were driving a car that has a sticker on it that they were Big Bear Locals, I felt super bad that people who live in such a nice place would trash it like that. The food was the same as any McDonald's, so the kids lived another day.

Good old american fast food. Decent food but certainly not the best hamburgers and fries out there. Fries are either super good and crisp but once cool or Luke warm they are a bit mushy and lack flavor. I had a big mack the other day and it was okay but noticed it was mostly bread and lettuce. The patties seem to be getting smaller my wife even mentioned.

The food tastes just like any other McDonald's. I found it weird that they had 3 windows i was waiting for awhile to see someone at a window until I was at the first window. Someone waved their hand I just that you pay and receive your food at the same window I guess.

Food was typical McDonald’s. Food was delivered to our table with kiosk ordering. Orders were accurate. We liked the “buy 1 get 1 for $1” offer but the Big Mac was $6.99. Since we don’t frequent here, we are unsure if this price is typical. We enjoyed free refills on our drinks. The bathroom was really in need of cleaning!

It's OK they don't really offer a bunch of deals and they mess up the orders pretty frequently. But it's just your regular McDonald's.

Was clean, but to order food I had to use a kiosk, which wasn't wiped down after each use, not good with COVID and monkey pox going around. This didn't bother me much, what really bothered me was that these kiosk takes away a persons job. That's no good.

Every time I come here they find a way to mes sup the order. I wouldn't mind the wait if I didnt have to wait again for them to correct my order. It has been 3 times in a row now. I think I will just either stop eating here or maybe go to the kitchen to help them make it correct.

I asked the lady if she had a dollar menu, she was rude and condescending. Told me she'll "solve that question for me with a no. This is a resort town and the happy meals are over there" as she pointed to the menu. The guy who took our order was really cool though. He made up for her lack of customer service. French fries were fresh. Burger was great.

What can I say about McDonald's? The prices are going up, and so is their food and service. The coffee used to be decent. In this particular location, the coffee tasted like a burnt one. It was bad, and I mean ( worse than Starbucks burnt roast 🤭😂) bad. The breakfast biscuit sandwich was soggy and not very good. Hash browns are small and greasy ( 2 Hash Browns costs 8 $, that is ridiculous 🙈🤯) . I go to get great Hash Browns at Trader Joe's for 3$ for 10 of them, and they are twice the size. The fast food restaurant like McDonald's should not be charging 8 $ for Hash browns 😑. The cashier got the order for to go when I asked for dine in ( not a huge deal). Definitely the last time we are stopping at McDonald's, unless there is absolutely nothing else around 🙄😕

It's always a hit or miss when I go there either missing an item or cheese on my baby's mom's burger which is just a deal breaker but the food's decent when it's right

Don't honor nationwide deals also consistently make you pull up the the last window even when its an extremely basic order and no one is behind you. They are trying to keep their overall time down but then take forever to bring you the food.

Got a large fries, total came to $6.02. At least they were fresh and the drive-thru hostess was really nice. I have a house up here but live down the hill and this was a huge reminder of why I don’t go to McDonalds up here. If they can’t figure out how to make the price work for locals and people with vacation homes then I think they’re missing a big part of their potential customer base but I’m sure they’ve crunched the numbers.

As alot of McDonald's are, it's a quick place to score a quick meal but this location didn't get my order correct, nor was it as tasty as it should've been. But, you're in Big Bear for the activities, not the food so this would be the place just to satiate your hunger without breaking the bank at other restaurants so that you can get back out to play in the snow.

Staff was super nice here. I would've given it 4 stars but the reason I didn't was because the bathrooms don't have baby changing tables. I mean, in the middle of a tourist spot and no changing table? I was disappointed that I had to change my baby outside in the truck.

The fries were without salt, and they were over cooked. Employees were great and nice though. We just love your fries 🍟 and were very disappointed. My husband never adds salt to anything and he asked to get salt to put on his fries and I had to as well 😕

Waited for service but didn't receive it. Cashier disappeared as soon as I walked up. I decided to use the restroom that was dirty. I had asked for freshly made french fries with no salt. The French fries I got were hot but we're so hard. I ended up giving them to my dogs. The french fries seem like they had possibly been put back in the hot oil just to get the salt off. Big mac seemed like it had been sitting for a while.

McDonald's is not what it was. The menu has changed. No more favorites. Strawberry sundies and sugar free vanilla ice coffee gone. On top of these products and more prices up. If this keeps up no more McDonald's for my family.

For the reason of poor quality, I haven't been to McDonald's for a long time. It got worse than I remember. The Shamrock Shake is still fantastic. The Happy meal (for the granddaughter) was fair, the soft drink system was non operational. My wife and I both got 1/4 pounders and we neither one finished them. They were very bad. The other thing that sucks is if you are not using their ap, you pay a ridiculous price.

I used to visit this location fairly regularly. I’d spend a good amount feeding my family, and I would get myself a Buy 1 Get 1 for a $1 item. At some point this location stopped participating in that promotion. I have not been back since, and have no plans to return. Without that deal, the value proposition isn’t there. It seems short sighted to not honor that deal, as fast food is already just as expensive as a traditional restaurant. Taking away one of the few “deals” that still exists is a sure way to drive away remaining customers.

I've never had an order be correct from this location. Fries are almost always stale. I live here so my family and I eat here (and other fast food restaurants in town) regularly - if you're from out of town, save your McDonalds trip until you're back off the mountain.

The service is super slow. But the worst, is that all the employees are NOT following the hygiene requirements that should be followed in a restaurant. Some of them with the mask only over their mouth breathing on the food, or not wearing nets on their hair, and then leaning so close to the food. Besides, they were unfriendly and did not care for the costumers. While waiting, three other people complained. They seemed not to be happy to go back to work.

Did a drive through order. Don’t know how many times I had to repeat my order to the lady taking it. She kept asking if my order was complete while I was still ordering. I get to the window and asked a guy to repeat my order and he says “WHAT?!” I asked again and he says “WHAT?!” So I left. Didn’t wanna pay $19 for 3 sandwiches and bad service. Would be a bit easier if you get a couple people that understand what you’re saying to them loud and clear to prevent this from happening in the future.

It's pretty much automated now. They didn't tell us we needed to grab cups and we didn't get the milk we ordered with the happy meal. They raised the prices for less service. The drive thru is two lanes that converge into one and someone is always getting cut in front of. I won't be back.

So so so done with our McDonald's. Nobody inside and nobody in drive through and it takes almost 30 minutes to grab a quick bite. Even after almost 30 minutes it takes 3 times to get the food back correctly because they add something that was not asked for or they give you the wrong food. Being local you want to support your local businesses but this location just keeps going down hill. The service is horrible and all the employees are straight up rude, if you don't like people don't work with the public. Don't spend your money here, do yourself a favor, save time, and definitely go somewhere else for food. It's not worth it.

I wish I could give negative stars. Upon arriving we asked if they offered the family meals, we were informed they do and have a 40pcs family meal and a Big Mac meal. We ordered the 40 pcs meal ( that’s 40 nuggets and 2 large fries ) but we were only given 40 nuggets. After we informed them at the window they told us we only ordered nuggets and blamed us for the mistake. What happened to companies priority on service and care. Now companies consistently fail to provide the service they are selling but do not care anymore. Do better McDonald train your team and provide the service you are expected to provide. Took over 10 mins to get our cones because they were refilling the machine. Okay cool. When they finally came out, they were slightly melted and dumped into cups with the cone sitting on top. I told her I would be eating my cone while driving. She said there’s nothing she could do and that the ice cream would “be everywhere” if she were to try to get it in the cone. I told her that I just needed my ice cream filled to the brim of the cone so I can eat and drive at the same time. After a minute, she comes back with a perfect cone. So I ask her to make the other one because my 4 yr old really wanted an ice cream cone. She comes back with another perfect cone. I thank her and she walks away without saying a word. My guess is that there’s some drainage of ice cream when they load up the machine, and instead of disposing of it, they tried to give it to us. And i’m guessing they do this to others as well.

Came to this location in the evening.. Good Lord this place was a dumpster fire. The staff was nasty with us, the order taker was so impatient and wouldn't let us take a second to discuss our order. She was insanely rude when we got to the window to pay too. The food was a definite reminder of why I don't eat at McDonald's, but this location was the pinnacle of horrible tasting food. The fries were stale, and my wife got the McRib, and for some reason they put a totally different bun on it than normal? forreal? Quarter pounder had no lettuce and neither did my kids cheese burgers. Seriously, Carl's Jr was right up the street. Don't make the same mistake we did.

One of the worst McDonald's experiences I have ever had. My family and I like to order our fries with light salt, this cannot be achieved through the self-serve kiosk, and the employees had no interest in taking our order, they simply kept trying to direct us to the self-serve kiosk. When we explained that the option was not available, an employee agree to help, but said he would be back in a minute. It took him 5 minutes to return and take our order. Then they gave us a number and we went outside to sit because we had our dog with us. Because we were outside, at the tables in their area they would not bring us our food.

We were door dashing and wanted to grab a bite to eat while we were driving and the sign on the drive-thru said the quarter pounder and cheese are juicier and saucier. So we decided to share a burger. When we got it we noticed the meat was about an inch bigger around than the bread all the way around and the meat was so thin it looked like it was rolled out with a rolling pin. Just because we wanted it fresh we think. Cuz your signs are off if I could give a zero star I would it was so dry you could have squeezed it with a paper towel and it not show any juice at all. It was the worst Burger ever. Someone needs to teach them in that McDonald's how to cook their burgers. You are not supposed to roll them flat. We think he did it on purpose because he didn't want to have to make it fresh.

The food was cold. The fries were hard and cold. I got to the window and asked for an orange Hi-C. I could clearly see that it was watered down. She still handed the two sodas to me. I rolled my windows down and said they tasted like water. She said, "Yeah, I knew it." But why didn't she just tell me? So I got a Dr. Pepper. It was also watered down. I didn't want to hold up the line, so I just left. I asked for ketchup, and the employee gave me one pack. The fries were stale, and the chicken Big Mac was cold. Multiple employees at the window with earpods in their ears chatting instead of helping the customers at the drive thru window.

Dirty dinner place! No service no cleaning at all. The worst thing is you cannot stay here more than 5 minutes because the guys don’t offer any heating. Too cold!

I stopped by about 630 this morning for a quick coffee. The place was absolutely gross. Every single table was covered in food, the floor was really dirty and the bathroom was not clean by any definition of the word. Clearly, no part of the restaurant was cleaned for the better part of the day leading up to closing yesterday or when they opened today.

I have came here now twice and they lied about the price and when confronted they get loud. Don't come here. They will charge you a different amount then the menu and add items you never bought.

After waiting for 15 minutes in a curbside parking space for my order, watching dozens of people going in and out of the restaurant and through the drive-thru I went in to find my order just sitting on the counter for God knows how long. Nobody even attempted to apologize for ignoring my order, they just shoved the cold food at me and we're very annoyed when I ask them to remake it because it's been sitting out! Adding insult to injury, they didn't even bother to fill my drink, I had to do it myself. I didn't order an empty cup, but that's what they gave me expecting me to fill it up even after I had to go inside to get someone to stop ignoring my order! Pretty soon I expect that they will start to make their customers cook their own food.

The food is so expensive you can’t even enjoy eating it. The place has trash overflowing out of the dumpsters they are understaffed and overcrowded. Don’t even consider going there on weekends you’ll be in line 30-50 minutes.

This McDonald's has the worst cleanliness I have ever seen. First thing in the morning and not a single table was clean. Clearly left from the night before. When we asked the manager to clean the table she said we don't have anyone.... you're the freaking manager! What do you mean you don't have anyone?! There were only two cars in the drive-thru and three people in line inside. It's not even busy! You can take two minutes to clean your tables! To top it off we had items missing from our order. The lady was rushing for literally no reason. I don't expect 5 star dining when I go to McDonald's but the standard here hit way below the bar.

Worst McDonald's transaction ever. If your employees don't understand English don't have them taking orders. There's plenty of bilingual ppl out there looking for a job. Yet even after not understanding a word I said he suddenly knew English when it was time to argue with me thru the window.

Had to explain the order 5 different times and they still got it it wrong. All we asked for was a sausage egg mcmuffin and a sausage mcgriddle and they still got it wrong and almost charged us for our meal and someone else's. Go somewhere else not worth the hassle

The service here has gone down very quickly. I just left and the “manager” I assume, an older white male, does not care about providing good service and is not fit for his role. The store closes the app, even when they are still open inside so they can just ignore customers! He kept directing people to kiosks that did not work. There was no one working register. The person assigned was constantly in the back and ignoring people asking her to help. The was the saddest excuse for customer service I have ever seen. Even when directly asked to help with an order the manager refused and they said to use the kiosk. After trying the kiosk, I waited 10 minutes to be helped at the register. This was slow food, not fast food. I had two orders and he still said I couldn’t get more than one sauce, even ketchup!! On the app, you can order as many sauces as you want. This was a disgraceful experience. As a local, I know past management has been better. I will not be coming back to 1 star establishment.

Ordered my food for pick up and arrived in 10 min at 11:23 pm. All lights were one, I was waiting by the pick up window for 15 min and no one came to give me the order. I knocked the window few times as I’ve seen one of the workers looked at me and just walked away not saying anything. After I called and they picked up the phone saying we are closed. Again, no one put the sign or anything they just ignored me waiting by the window and several other cars. Working hours till 12am ! Why they closed?

Every time we go there they mess up are order the. food is okay. Would be detter if we can actually get are food with out any mess ups.

The chicken sandwich was horrific. Dry with old pickles cold fries. Even Chick-fil-A can do better. Oh, and the ranch was horrific too.

Yall better be careful eating here. Didn't give me my change and then got an attitude when I asked for it. Said "I wrapped it up with your receipt" Normally I wouldn't care cause it was only $1 but this has happened before with the exact same lady. Should be ashamed of yourself trying to steal people's cash. Post a video of you giving me the dollar if youre so sure if yourself.

No one taking orders at the counter. Defeats the face to face modality McDonalds had once priced itself in. When we had picked up our food, they forgot to include straws and made excuses in terms of miscommunication for simply requesting the missing sauce we had ordered. Ordered sweet iced tea, then upon picking up the order -- they mention they no longer serve sweet iced tea. No comment nor accomodation from the employee besides that. Messy inside, tables dirty, and spillage on floors. Completely a regrettable experience. Do NOT recommend. Go someplace else to eat.

I cannot believe how bad it's gotten. My tiny little breakfast sausage sandwich was $3.99 and it shouldn't be more than a dollar. I cannot believe how much they have shrunk them over the years. I don't know that I'll be going back to McDonald's anymore

Terrible Experience – Missing Items & Rude Service I had a horrible experience at this McDonald’s in Big Bear Lake. I ordered the Big Breakfast with Hotcakes with extra hotcakes and round eggs, expecting the full meal, but all I received was pancakes, two round eggs, and two coffees—for $25! I had removed the two meat options because I only eat halal, but I still should have received the rest of the meal. There was no hash brown, no English muffin, and later I realized they also forgot the scrambled eggs. When I went to the front desk to let them know about the missing items, the employee was extremely rude. Instead of simply fixing the issue, she demanded that I bring back the entire bag (even though I had already brought the box of hotcakes). When I did as she asked, she checked it and then accused me of taking the missing items out myself! Absolutely unacceptable behavior! On top of that, they were stingy with condiments—I only got one syrup and two butters for the pancakes, even though I had asked for four butters, two syrups, honey, jam, and other condiments. I also requested two spoons, two forks, two knives, and a stir stick for the drinks, but they didn’t give me all the items. They gave me all items in a bag instead in a tray. Also my husband didn’t use the male restroom because the floor was covered with pee. This location is completely unprofessional, poorly managed, and lacks basic customer service. Instead of making things right, they blamed me for their mistake. I left feeling frustrated and ripped off. I definitely DO NOT recommend this McDonald’s—save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

I live 2 blocks from this place and seldom eat here due to less than great food, service or value. It just went through a remodel and I thought I should give it a try. The result? Never going back. Raw quarter pounders and half cooked large fries for $15.00. We should have turned on the lights before we started eating. How do you screw up 2 quarter pounders and an order of fries???
