Just like the good old days. The restaurant is very clean, good service and the breakfast was delicious.
We are new to Bishop and this is our favorite place so far! The couple times we went here it was awesome! Friendly prompt and amazing food especially their 9 grain pancakes!
We love this Denny's and always make a point to treat the kids to a pancake breakfast on a rest day. It's clean, well staffed and the food is always good. A true diner style from the 60's and worth stopping at when on the 395.
It's nice to have a place to go after 8 pm that offers a variety of options to choose from no matter what meal you order. The staff are very friendly, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable. Except for coffee, I think $3.59 for a cup of coffee is a bit high.
I’ve been to many Denny’s before and this one is the best one. The food was delicious!!!!!
We are from Temecula. We had dinner on October 25th around 5 pm. The waitress was outstanding! She was proactive giving everything we needed for our dinner. We didn't get her name. The food was fresh and very tasty. Thank you for a positive experience.
We got there $10 breakfast. It was very good, I shared it with my friend.
Denny's is a very good restaurant, prices are not expensive and the food is very nice. Also there is no loud music playing through speakers so it is a nice quite meal, staff are also very friendly.
We sat outside, with our dog. The grilled salmon and steamed broccoli were just fine. The outside seating is right by the highway, so there’s some truck noise, but it’s ok.
I mean, it's a Dennys, but it's a particularly nice Dennys. One of the chefs in the kitchen here knows how to get the hashbrowns nice and crispy on both sides, it's great. This location is currently getting its main entrance renovated as of July 18th, 2023 though, so you have to enter through the back door. I believe it is still wheelchair accessible.
No wait Friday at 11:00am. Ginger the waitress was phenomenal, she was attentive to our dining needs. Clean restaurant. The floor was immaculate. Tables were clean. Food was fantastic. Covid precautions were being followed well.
Derrick is one of the greatest humans we've met. Give that man a raise. We broke down after a wreck and he let us stay at Dennys during the blizzard. Forever thankful for him. The food was great! Ordered like 8 hot chocolates.
There was a 25 minutes wait but it was understandable due to the covid-19 situation. The wait was worth it amazing service by Santiago our waiter and the food was spot on. We tried the new pumpkin pancakes and totally recomend them. Delicious!
We had dinner here this evening as we arrived to town late and other restaurants were closing. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was quite good, considering the pricing, and our waiter was really kind and aware of us - asking several times if it was all good. It was busy, but it didn't affect the service. We are definetely coming back for breakfast tomorrow before we head on to Yosemite.
Food was good. Service was non existent. Waitress dropped off food and never returned. No refills.
I have never been to a Denny's that I like...until this one. I have been so many times and I have never had a bad meal here. The servers are always nice too. The owner must be a very hard worker. It really shows.
This Dennys gets your food out quick and deliciously. Their breakfast meals are perfect with a good variety of options. I highly recommend the place.
My husband and I stopped by for a quick meal on our drive from Mammoth to San Diego. ordered Cobb salad with grilled chicken. Probably one of the healthiest options you can get in Bishop if time is short. Fast service, everyone was friendly and professional, restaurant is clean. Overall a very good experience
Fast and friendly , the lady Waitress Elvira was superb, didn't have to ask for any more coffee she kept on coming with it. Which I really enjoyed, you'll like to replace something on your order ,no problem they'll do it at no extra charge, at least for me.
Amazing food, best pancakes in the world. How come dennys $3.5 pancakes are better than anything you can get anywhere else?? Steak was good, well seasoned, eggs and veggies great too.
Came in here with a large group and was served quickly, staff took the time to accommodate us well. From the moment we arrived they arranges tables for us(20) to all sit together, the service was very prompt from the beginning in offering to drinks to taking our order and offering dessert towards the end. We received our food very fast despite being such a large group, very impressive! Staff was lively and attentive and manager interacted with us throughout our time there to insure everything was well. Won't be in Bishop for a year, but we know where we'll be eating when we come again. Great atmosphere!
Came late on a Sunday (10pm) the restaurant was very busy! But regardless the staff was very friendly and responsive! Quickly took our order and had it out in a few minutes. And my god was that sirloin perfectly cooked! Ron the chef did a killer job! I had a great experience. ♥️
Very fast and friendly. The guy that delivered my order to my was exceptionally friendly and nice. I really appreciate that and I will order again based on my experience. Other Denny's I've ordered from over the past couple months require you to go inside and say they offer curb side service but don't.
Great experience traveling through. 3am breakfast was delicious. Service was Great.
There seems to be very mixed opinions from this dennys, either eggcelent or awful. Personally, I think this is the best dennies in the world. Nice and clean, great service, just sometimes takes a lil long for extra items like whipped cream for pancakes. Other than that, service is pretty fast and food tastes excellent. I had gotten the ghirradelli chocolate pancake or something like that
Stopped in for dinner. Sometimes you want a familiar thing when roadtripping.
Stephany was our server and management needs to know that she treated us just like family. We were quickly seated, and our order was taken as soon as we were ready. Mom got a special with eggs, hash browns and toast. I got a simple two pancake stack. Fluffy, the taste was a home run, and it hit the spot. The coffee was made right, not like mud like at many other places. We didn’t need much. We just wanted a quick bite as we took a break in our road trip. We will stop here again. It was a great decision. Thank you Stephany for being such a stellar server. Don’t catch a cold in there though. It was freeeeeezzzing!
Stopped in Denny's in Bishop, CA on main street, Service was taken, Breakfast Quesadilla with scrambled egg whites, melted cheddar cheese and pieces of bacon, served with salsa. So delicious. Second order (2 )breakfast in one, again quick service, clean restaurant.
Ate there some time ago next to what we in Alabama call the "LLT" (Local Liars Table). Just a bunch of farmers and ranchers talking about what they were going to do or what needed to be done. Very interesting. Never interrupted them but listened to their banter. Very interesting to here differences and similarities of day to day life on the farm vs. where I'm from. An unexpected and pleasant memory from years ago that I still recall from time to time.
Seating to the left of the cash register as you enter is less air conditioned so you don't have to freeze like you do in most Denny's!
I ordered the wild Alaskan salmon and was blown away. Honestly the best seafood I had in a while. Taters were delicious and everything was cooked perfect. Really wish I had taken some photos!
Been to many dennys diners but this is by far one of my best experiences!! Most dennys are slow and inattentive but this Dennys is awesome! The hostess and staff wet beyond friendly and served all of our needs! The bathrooms were spotless whoever is in charge of maintaining those bathrooms needs a raise!!! My experience was at 10pm at night but I assume it’s great no matter what. If passing by or staying in bishop this is a gem. I know it can sound weird because it’s not a local based name but I’m pretty sure whoever owns this place consider themselves a small business owner given the location. Regardless I appreciate the service tonight and truly feel welcomed. August 20 2025
Dennys food is always decent, but what pushed this rating up was our host and server, Nigel! He really was good and kind, even though we split the meal in half (we just weren’t in the mood for a full meal each. ) Thanks for being on top of it and treating us well! The chicken fried chicken hit the spot and we left satisfied.
Fantastic staff. Every single time I've visited. Two years in a row now. The food is consistent and I've liked everything I've had so far. It's clean and has great decor /diner vibe. But the staff who work there are rock stars and honest folk. (Thanks for finding my wallet and going out of your way to make sure it was returned!)
Ordered mobile takeout three times during a recent visit. Two were filled accurately. One was missing an item. I provided feedback, but did not receive a refund.
The staff is super friendly. And the food is actually pretty good for being a Denny's. Their hamburgers and sandwiches are made well, even if the desserts are a little less wowing. But it's not like you're paying for gourmet food. They are one of the best Denny's I have been to. And they are open 24 hours; something that isn't very common in Bishop. :)
Dennys is pretty good here they are clean and most of the employees have a good sense of humor. There was this one lady that gave me attitude as soon as I got there. Than not only does she mess up my order, but gives it away to someone else and than has the nerves to say it was my fault someone else took it. Like how was that my fault? As if i know when the cooks finished my food. Not only that she said so you want your food still? After about an hour waiting I was done I told them I wanted my money back just to find out that she never put my redo order, and that she was going to return my money anyways. I was furious an hour waiting for food that was never place because of this ignorant employee.
Very quiet for a Dennys at dinner time. We were seated quickly. The waiter brought our beverages quickly. The meal was correct and served promptly.
We would like to compliment Julia m for her great service this morning at 7 am. Being that she was the only waitress working and it was busy. If anyone complains about her it was definitely not her fault. Because she was trying to get to everyone also take phone orders. The reason I did not do five star is because management understands the restaurant. I hope someone in corporate gives Julia M a bonus or something. Thanks Julia M for awesome service.
My food was good, got the dip sandwich, the other orders we got were lack luster. A skillet and a burger. The dessert we ordered (the pancake bites) were good but the icing that came with it took far too long to arrive and by that point the pancake bites were like warm to cold.
would have done the whole 5 stars because the food was great but I didn't like the way we were treated by the host Luis. pretty rude guy just stayed because my kids were really hungry. we asked for a different table and he said whatever if you fit you can sit there and left our things at the first table. it didn't bother us moving them but he just didn't have to be rude about it
Food was ok Staff was very friendly
A good place to eat when passing or staying in Bishop! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good and served quickly. As Bishop is a rather small town, the atmosphere was a bit more family-friendly and casual than in other places. Overall, the diner could have been a tad bit cleaner.
We arrived late in Bishop and we were starving. Every sit-down restaurant so we decided to eat here. I had the salmon plate was excellent. I was expecting something dry and fishy, but it was moist, fresh and cooked just right! The sides were delicious as well. The manager waited on us and couldn't have been more pleasant!
We Have been visiting Dennys a lot more in the past few years. With rising and ridiculous over inflated prices on just about everything, Dennys is still a good value. Tonight we both had the wild Alaskan salmon plate. A very nice dinner at a fair price. Unfortunately, the vinaigrette dressing was bad in the bottle, and ruined Maria's salad🥗. Otherwise, a nice dinner 🍽 😋
Was busy when we arrived but we were still served in good time. Typical Denny's menu Food was good And all the servers and help were friendly and smiled. Only gets 4 stars because it's just Denny's ,not a fancy restaurant.
Reasonable food for the price. It's a chain, so just replicated.
Nachos were OK and didn’t look appetizing. The server was great and always had a nice attitude when serving. Would go back. Also liked that Vagabond allowed 10% discount.
Great place for breakfast. Dinner was good. At some time in the early or mid evening hours the dining room closes and it's takeout only, wish I had known that before. Prices seem a little higher than other Denny's, but I guess that's California.
We stopped in because we did not know where else to get a reasonably low-calorie breakfast in Bishop. The food was typical Denny's and it was fine. The restroom has got the be the most untidy (and stinky) restaurant restroom I've encountered in my fairly long life.
Good food as usual. Service was non- existent after food arrived. But it was a holiday and I'm sure they were short-handed. Waitress said she would bring coffee refills but never did. Couldn't get her attention. Finally got someone else to do it.
Denny's is a decent spot for breakfast. The food is good, though not outstanding. If you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills place to start your day, it's an option to consider.
Our order was messed up. We wanted 2 ice cream sundaes, one milkshake, and one sandwich. We also ordered 3 glasses of water and a soda. We were served 2 sundaes, one cooked waffle pie thing, and one sandae. We tried to explain We wanted a milkshake not the waffle thing. The server took the waffle and brought another sundae. We had to ask numerous times for our water. Ultimately we just laughed. It was just ice cream after all!
Good service, reasonable prices and vast menu items. The food quality has improved over the years. However I've gotten a hamburger the last 2 visits and the flavor is somewhat different and not to my liking. The burgers brought the rating down.
Was alright. Prices were a bit high for what we got, but given the more remote location, that's probably fine. Service was friendly, though timing was a bit off (some eggs and pancakes took notably more time than my companion's stew, which was rather odd). But my toast was neither toasted not evenly buttered by a longshot, and the over easy eggs were more over medium than easy. But hey, after 2 days on a mountain, we still were happier eating here than not eating, or eating fried fast food.
Big younger girl with glasses had a bad attitude. I was waiting on my boyfriend and I was just sitting there while the manager, and two other ladies were just talking. So I was like uhh… can I get some drinks please? And she had an attitude and asked me if I was waiting on someone. Well yea but I still want my drinks???? I’ve been a bartender/ server for 7 years. I would always ask if they want a drink. Not just leave them there. So strange… anyways, older lady was very sweet and attentive!!! Food was great!!
food was good, but service was very slow on 8/28/2025. took about 15-20 minutes for someone to finally take our order despite there being at least 3 tables full. order took about half an hour. no one came to check on the table to see if we needed more water or anything else until the end of our meal. i also ordered a stack of pancakes that took around 45 minutes to come out.
Great food and clean environment but one of the waitresses named Tara was extremely rude. There was a family that came in (five people) and they wanted to sit at a table other than the one she brought them to (the table was fairly close by) but she informed them that it was dirty and didn’t offer to clean it. She repeated that it was dirty until they left without ordering or being seated. It also seemed that the other waitress that was working with her was managing the four or five tables that did have customers on her own. She also complaining about working within ear shot of the majority of the customers. I would suggest avoiding this place and getting food else where. I won’t be coming again.
This Denny's has been undergoing some changes. Recently, they went from fresh squeezed to store-bought orange juice. It is not nearly as good! I ordered the blueberry waffle, and have to admit it was overcooked on the edges and undercooked in the center. I don't know what has happened here, but it is not good.the only other issue we had was once our waitress brought our food, we did not see her again until it was time to pay the check. We had to flag down another server in order to get our drinks refilled.
8 bucks for a nearly empty plate of eggs bacon and hash browns... that's worth 2.99 at best. Couple that with poor service earns a poor review. The second star was for the pure fact that the quality of food was decent.
We waited 40 minutes for someone to come to table. She was more interested in talking with friends and or family. Food was brought out cold. Won't go back to this Denny's!
I wouldn't recommend this place. The hostess rolled her eyes at us. Sticky floors to the point my shoes came off. No one came to our table after 10 min. I had to get up and ask for a waiter. He apologized, and was nice. We didn't get our Coke until the middle of the meal and he never returned to ask for anything else. We were charged for an extra shake. And he never brought our boxes for leftovers.
My expectations for Dennys aren't super high so basic customer service, decent cleanliness cleanliness relatively well-cooked food would get 5 stars. This particular Denny's would get 0-1 stars, but giving it a second star to take responsibility. I've driven by this Denny's dozens of times. Big, lit up sign, each time, regardless of day or night says 24 hours. On a long road trip right now, and kinds figured it'd be ok to pull up into Bishop past midnight because there'd still be some food. Small, handwritten sign on side window says "we'll open again at 6am". Bright "open 24 hours" sign still showing off all its glory. Nearest other option is 87 miles away and the very reason I planned this stop on long trip was because I knew there'd be a place to eat before checking into motel. Lame. Would not be hard to cover up the 24 Hour part of that sign. Based on that lack of care, and the sloppiness of the side sign, I'm guessing there's not a lot of extra care that goes into the food or cleanliness in this location.
Excellent food but severely lacking in service. My husband, our friend, and I weren’t helped until 10 minutes after we sat down. We waited for our drinks even longer, and they showed up literally 15 seconds before the food. Our friend ordered a smoothie and what he received was not what he ordered. We had to ask for flatware after the food was already brought over. We could see at least 5 servers at any given point with 2 or 3 constantly working but at least two just gabbing. Due to this unnecessary stress being placed on the other servers, we weren’t able to catch the attention from any of the servers until much much later (which is why we didn’t try to ask for the smoothie to be corrected, because it took much too long). It seems the system within the servers is not working, and it effects the customers. On another note, the food really was excellent. It was probably the best skillet and omelet we’ve ever had from a Denny’s. I also appreciated the staff’s attention to my dietary restrictions. The cooks are definitely doing things right and it shows. Thank you!
Employee Jesse gets a 10-star rating for doing an excellent and courteous job today but for the management they would have to get a zero to one star because poor jesse, who did not complain one bit, smiled, was courteous, stopped it every table to apologize for any delay whenever he was near it and he had to serve every table himself take the orders, and service cashier! The only other people evident for the entire hour I was there was whoever was cooking and a guy pushing a broom in the back near the kitchen. Jesse deserves a raise or whatever accolades are available for him due to his great attitude, no indication that he was in any way negatively impacted by being the only employee to provide any personal service of any kind. This was between 1:30-3 which could possibly be a slow time but of course there should be more than one person visible in the entire restaurant and this is the week of the state rodeo finals and he had five or six tables Beyond a large table of rodeo contestants and their family. Kudos to Jesse!!!!
Terrible customer service and incompetent kitchen staff! Our waitress was nice, but not a very good waitress. She checked on us once while we were there. Our beverages were empty for the longest time, and had to flag her down for a refill each time. The kitchen staff though was very sluggish and non-shalant about getting orders out quickly. I ordered a scrambled egg for my son and 10 minutes later, it still wasn't out. The waitress noticed and complained to the guy behind the counter several times before handing us a semi-burned egg on a plate. My son had already fallen asleep by the time it reached our table. I would definitely not come visit this place again at night, maybe the day crew is better. There was a BBQ spot just a walking distance away..
Horrible service, had to wait ten minutes until someone got our drink order, on top of the 5 minutes it took to get someone to seat us. My husband ordered waffles and found out from our neighboring table, they were out, the waitress never told us. She gave us our food and said oh i have to go get you pancakes. Never once told us they were out of waffles. Not coming here again, absolutely horrible.
Most pathetic Denny's you can find.. despite knowing it's bad reputation, we wanted to give it a try at the end of a long trip. Not sure why it is always crowded though despite providing such bad quality food and service.. the waiter messed up our order repeatedly, did not provide the side bread until we finished the dinner! Looked like she was doing it deliberately. Not so clean dishes, unhealthy oily food, you name it! Just skip and save your money and health..
I can say we liked the food, but the service sucks. We have never not left a tip but we felt soo discriminated by our own race I did not leave a tip nor would I ever come back. Came here for mule days and I believe it was the restaurant manager that served us. Other tables with the Caucasian guest were checked on regularly, refilled their coffee, and we tried to get her attention she literally just looked away. She brings us the check well after we were done eating and then ask if we wanted more coffee after we had finished. My children wanted a refill but i was just so upset I wanted to pay and leave. To top it off my husband goes to pay the bill and there is one Caucasian lady paying and next my husband. No one offers to charge him on the second register they had and when he gets to the front to pay then they open the second register for the Caucasian man lined up behind him. You can read all my other reviews and they are not this bad. I don't know if other Hispanics around here dont tip and that's why we didn't receive any service, but they should not generalize all of us. Should have gone to KFC next door.
First time here, we were greeted and seated fast. The table we got was sticky and dirty, the waitress gave us menus that were stuck together with food. Should have been enough for us to leave but gave it a try anyway. Food wasn't good, one of the french toast tasted like another meal seasoning. So many flies in the restaurant too, and to top it off the waitress forgot to bring out the mash potatoes we ordered yet still charged us. I still tipped although i shouldn't have. Overall save your money and stomach and go to the juice bar nearby or mercado mexico, even the bowling alley has better food and so much cleaner.
The male Hispanic waiter behaved very rudely, clearly showed his aggression. We ordered three kids chocolate ice creams and he brought us three chocolate milkshakes. When we pointed out to him in the menu that we ordered ice cream, he aggressively crumpled the kids menu. Eventually, he didn’t take out the milkshake orders from the receipt. I would recommend to teach him courses how to behave himself as a waiter.
It's April 11th and my husband made a order which cost a $60 and they're not even open for us to pick it up. My husband made the order at 10:00 I was there for 10:45 and they were closed the doors were chained this place is not open 24 hours. I will be calling to get my money back either the bank or the restaurant.
I ordered through door dash and paid $100. We never received our food. I called Denney's and they said our order was still there and has been ready for an hour and half. I asked to cancel the order because it obviously wouldn't be edible after sitting for that long. They told me I had to contact door dash. Door dash sent us a message telling us they were trying to find a driver. WTH! Denney's was not helpful at all and when I asked do they have this problem with door dash often and I was told yes. I asked why do they continue to do business with door dash then because it going to give Denney's a bad name. He said he would let his boss know. Well if this has happened a lot before like he said obviously the owner isn't aware or doesn't care. Poor customer service from both. I will never eat at this Denny's again and I will never use door dash. This was our first experience using it and definitely the last.
Came thru Bishop late one evening on our way home from a week-long vacation in San Diego, and Denny's was about the only place open that had a variety of vegetarian options other than Jack in the Box (their anytime Breakfast sandwiches). Restaurant was a bit dirty, seats were patched with duct tape, and the Men's rest room was closed. Service was OK, a bit slow. Staff seemed a bit off, couldn't really put my finger on it. Also, constantly heard someone coughing from somewhere inside the restaurant, and that should have been our cue to leave, because two days later, we both tested positive for COVID, and this was the only place we stopped that day where we had any sort of closer contact with people. Next time we travel thru Bishop late at night, we'll just do the Jack in the Box drive thru.
Very bad experience. My 2nd time there, first time was okay. This time my steak was microwaved, Hashbrowns were cooks, eggs were cold, toast not buttered and everything but the eggs and toast...even though they eye cooks to....tasted like they been sitting around a while. The manager gave me a $2.00 discount??? Never again, I rather go hungry and wait till morning and go to the country kitchen 15 miles south in big pine where the food is always great!!
My husband and I ordered breakfast on April 30, 2024. I ordered the Everyday Value slam breakfast ($6.99, two eggs, two sausage, two pancakes) and my husband only wanted a waffle. I was half way through my meal before his waffle arrived. It was maybe 3 x 4 inches (the size was about the palm of his hand). We were shocked when it finally arrived. WILL NOT BE STOPPING AT THIS DENNYS AGAIN. Received a bill from the waiter without the waffle on the bill. When I was paying the bill, a cashier (female) presented me with a different bill, waffle added. The tiny waffle cost $5.19. Unbelievable!
Had done an 8 hour drive and showed up in Bishop around 8PM everything was closed already to eat at so we went to get Dennys for take out to go back to the hotel. I had ordered blue cheese with my wings to go and my other half got what he wanted. We were told they couldn’t put blue cheese on the cash register but would make sure we had it. We were the only ones there getting to go and they forgot that we were getting it to go then proceeded to give us ranch. When we said it was blue cheese the young small lady Ciara told us with an attitude “well you should have told me that in the first place”. We will definitely not be returning back to this location. So glad we didn’t tip.
I tried to eat how much salt they put in the steak, but I couldn't finish it. Naturium swelled my face and whole body from adding a lot of salt and drank a lot of water but it didn't improve. It's an absolute unhealthy restaurant.
Very dissapointed. Dirty, tired, need urgently some maintenance. Please avoid the toilets....the worst ever. The waiter was very unpleasant, and there is a lack of cleaning in the whole place. To be honest the food was good (burguers), but the bad status of the place and the behaveaur of the staff made us rate this place very bad. Just after they served the meals she showed up with the invoice, not even asking if we wanted anything else. Of course we paid, and we left the place with NO tip at all!!!
I would rate it a zero if I could, but I recommend never to come here for dinner, especially if you have a big party. We had to wait for over an hour for our food, and most of it hadn't been completely ready. We needed to wait an additional ten minutes for the 3 other dishes we were missing. Furthermore, anything breaded was extreme soggy. Most of our food was either overcooked or rushed. And we only received our drinks after our meal was over. The burgers had been extremely soggy, whereas the salmon and t-bone were both super overcooked and rubbery, or undercooked without being seared properly. Along with that, the side dishes were horrendous. The broccoli was close to raw, the fries were un-seasoned, the rice was quite hard, and the corn had the consistency of 2 day old chewed gum. In conclusion, our food was absolutely lamentable. Nothing can be done to repair our latest interaction with this restaurant.
A very sad location with an even poorer service. The restaurant was nearly empty just after lunchtime. We waited 5 minutes (felt like 10), then we decided (2 adults one toddler) to leave as noone wanted to show us a table. Again, the restaurant was practically empty. No warm welcome, no hello … , sadly this seems to be the way lots of Denny’s locations are headed :(
Bring You Initial Drink Whenever They Feel Like It, Only Two Girls Working And For Some Odd Reason They're Faster With Certain Customers.. Food Wasn't Cooked Well As I Had To Leave The Food Because Service Here Is Bad,To Say The Least Even Other Patrons Were Leaving Their Food. I'm A Denny's Fan, Just Not This One.
Says it closes at midnight, we get there at like 10 after driving 6 hours and they're closed. Update your hours. I was so looking forward to food, and this was a huge disappointment and completely unprofessional.
Worse customer service. Our server did not give us silverware after getting our coffee. We had to get up and ask. She never came back for a refill of coffee and water. We tried getting her attention twice but she seamed to be busy on the phone on her AirPods. It’s not like it was busy there was only two other tables with customers. We ended up leaving without refills, I guess her conversation was more important.
This restaurant advertises open 24 hours it is not and has not been for quite some time according to the cook. I just drove 5 hours through the night with 4 grandkids on a fishing trip with plans to feed them here got here at 5 am and it was all locked up. The cook showed up shortly after and stated he did not know what time they would open it depends on when the woman that works the front shows up could be 20 min or 1 hour. I am surprised Denny's would allow this poor management. Hour need to be updated but not sure they would open on time anyway.
Food is good. Service is terrible. Never once came for coffee refill. I asked for extra butter for my pancakes which I never got.
Came here around 8:30pm and ordered one of their new “sizzling” skillets…well let’s just say there was no SIZZLING to it it was cold even the pan wasn’t even hot I was able to hold it. Told the worker an all she was was “we can reheat it” like no…I didn’t even eat it at all an she wouldn’t take it off our bill or even give a discount for the bad quality. Even my man’s burger wasn’t even hot it was just kinda warm…it’s like our food just sat there for a while before she brought it to us.
Waited in line to have our name put on a list for a table for the two of us. Two other couples arrived after us and added their name. Manager came over and decided to pick them to give them tables even though us and others arrived first and had the same party size. Why even make the list and have parties wait if the manager is out going to randomly choose who gets a table first. They also immediately seated people who walked in as opposed to those sitting down waiting to be seated. Staff seemed unorganized. One of the only late night restaurants to pass through in the area, but I would avoid if possible.
