Rusty Bucket - Bloomfield

First time diner, now long term guest. The menu isn't overdone and it's easy to navigate. They have an awesome selection of crafts beers and the atmosphere is exactly what I'm looking for when dining! I highly recommend their hand dipped and battered deep fried pickle spears and the French onion soup! They were top notch!

Food was really good. Nice atmosphere.

We came in as a large group (hockey team) spontaneously and they were so accommodating! The service was great - Chelsea and Lori made no mistakes and did a fabulous job!

Great atmosphere and love sitting at the bar. Great bartenders Missy and Hannah 5 stars with these 2. Always make you feel at home. Great food and music. Always a treat

We ate here a couple weeks ago with our 10U hockey team after an away game at Detroit Skating Club right around dinner time. We popped in unannounced with 12 players and even more parents. They quickly had us seated on two long tables and a couple of booths, ordering was smooth and the food came out surprisingly quick and almost altogether. I’ve been to many team dinners and in general they are slow and lengthy- not this one! Food was great and everyone was happy! Shout out to our servers Chelsea and Lori for dealing with us and channeling some organized chaos :)

I had an amazing experience at Rusty Bucket! Our server, Shalyn, was absolutely fantastic and made our evening special. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and handled a busy section with ease. She gave great recommendations, kept our drinks filled, and was incredibly friendly. We never had to wait for anything. Highly recommend asking to sit in Shalyn’s section!

Listennnnn when I tell you this was the BEST food I’ve had in a long time! Everything was AMAZING!!!!! I had the Soy Glazed Salmon & It melted in my mouth! This is my NEW SPOT! The atmosphere was great the manager Rachel was very personable and very friendly she came by a few times to check on us! And our bartender Missy was a firecracker lol in a great way! Her drinks were out of this world! If you haven’t visited please do yourself a favor and stop by! TODAYYYYY!

The server we had thought she hadn't returned fast enough to us so we could place our order and was so apologetic and even gave us dessert on her because of it. It was totally not called for, as we didn't wait but a few minutes before she came back to us, but we truly appreciated the extra effort she put into making us feel appreciated. The food came out fast, and was hot, and delicious! And the pumpkin cheesecake dessert was AMAZING to say the least! The manager even came out during our meal to check on us and apologize again. Now, THAT is customer service! We would've gone back just for the food, but now we'll be back for the food and for the amazing service! Thank you Rusty Bucket!

We came in this evening unannounced with a large group of parents and kids after a playoff win! The staff accommodated our group, took orders in an organized way, and most importantly the food came out FAST - HOT & DELICIOUS! Thank you to Chelsea and Laurie for their patience and great service!!

The Rusty Bucket on Woodward was fantastic! We brought an entire hockey team in last minute and they could not have been better. Super nice staff and great food. They made celebrating a win even better!!

We had a great dinner here!! Apps were delish, meals were large… prices great. Our server Delaney did a fantastic job! We came after a soccer game and my 6 yo said she can’t wait to play out this way again so we can go back!

Happy hour was amazing got some chicken fingers and pizza. Tasted great with the the blueberry Bella drink. Maggie was very accommodating and a great server

Came for dinner on Sunday. Very friendly staff from the hostess to the servers. Food was great! I had the Cuban sandwich (very good) and my friend had the Bacon burger. He said it was the best burger he has ever had. I highly recommend!!

We went to this place at last minute and it was so great that I don't know how I got it I don't drink I have one drink and I loved it the food was awesome the service by Brittany was great I think everybody there you made my night special

I absolutely love the food & drinks at the Rusty Bucket!! Our server Delaney was exceptional and had perfect timing. I recommend her as a server and this restaurant for anyone in the Bloomfield area.

We went for happy hour and they have great deals from 3-6pm. Half off appetizers and $1 off beer and wine and cocktails. $12 pizzas. The food was good and atmosphere was nice. Relaxed vibe. TVS all over. Cool bar.

Got the chicken tenders, they were battered and pretty juicy. Just wasn't a fan of the batter, so I ordered a grilled cheese with kettle chips from the secret menu. It was definitely good!

Food was good. I got the blackened salmon salad and it was delish but missing avocado. Everyone else got a form of a burger (including the imposter burger). Waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was fun bar vibes.

Our food was excellent especially the nachos (chicken). It's a 15-30 minute wait unless you reserve ahead of time. They have a large selection of beers. The staff were friendly and professional. I definitely recommend visiting if you never been.

Our waitress was great. Food was decent. I really liked the fries dipped in ranch. Fried pickles are really big. But breading lacks flavor. Lava cake had no lava but tasted very good.

Food is good although a bit on the salty side and kinda pricey. Service is a bit slow, came with a group and all ate at different intervals. I like the upbeat atmosphere. It kinda feels like a TGIF Fridays place. They have an amazing drink calendar Blueberry Bella, so damn good!

I had a small bowl of chili with some "beef" in it and it was $9.00+. A refill should have been offered-not even a regular sized bowl. Thoroughly disappointed.

Came here for Father’s Day and there was no wait. Our waitress Mya was fantastic and answered all of our questions about the menu. The chopped barbecue chicken salad was ok, small portion size for the price, so I would try something different. My dad’s fries with his Philly cheese steak were cold, so they definitely need to work on timing in the kitchen. Prices are standard for the area, which means higher, but the food quality is pretty average.

UPDATE!! I will never be coming back to this restaurant. I tried the French onion soup and there is a legit fly in the soup. 🤮 Not the French onion soup I fell in love with but I made it work. The telegraph location is much more consistent !

I love the food here. It hits every time. It's nice comfort food close to home, perfect for when you're in that comfort food mood. Especially the chicken tenders. Amazing. The problem, and it's a REAL problem to me, is the carryout containers. For one, the plastic is horrible for the quality of the food. Anything with any breading, bun, or crispiness is ruined if you plan on taking the food further from your car to eat it. No one wants soggy buns. Also, it's terrible for the environment. Like, why use these huge plastic containers that degrade the quality of your food and the quality of our planet when there are like a hundred better options that are probably cheaper as well? Food and service are great, but this always bugs me. Y'all should be better than this

I visited one of these when I was in Columbus and thought average at best. Same here. Most of my group loved their choice but not all. The ones who did had looked up reviews. My salmon was good when it finally came and then I had to wait for a refill of my diet Pepsi. I finally had to flag down another server to get it. They do try to follow the covid-19 safety rules and would have been out on the patio if it wasn't for the heavy rain. I did see a family Walk out of the place after their meal with no masks on. I don't think I will be back to this location since they have a couple locations closer to where I live.

This place is nothing to write home about. Everything felt very rushed from ordering, to our food coming out quickly, to getting the bill. Can’t complain about the service, the food was ok, but they can’t make an old fashioned at all. If you’re looking to get in and out fast, I guess this place is for you. We probably won’t be back.

Food was ok, nothing really outstanding on the menu. Wife got a trio that had soup, salad and a sandwich. None of it came until my burger was ready. Timing of service was just off. Too much ice in soda seems to be the best way to make extra money these days. I probably got 10 oz of soda over 2 glasses. The music choices should have given us pause to leave before service. Not sure what clientele they are trying to cater too but it's not the over 55 group.

The server was great, and it was t his fault our food was awful. Ordered the fish and chips and OG burger. The fish and chips came out cold, the burger arrived without the fries as they were being cooked. Burger although perdect temp was hnseasoned and bland. For 21 bucks I'd have expected the food to be hot and seasoned appropriately. Dan our server was great, he comped the fish right away because it was taking for ever to be redone. Id heard good things about Rusty Bucket but man this was sheer disappointment

First time eating here and it was alright. The hostess was nice. Our waitress was cool she took our order and drinks. Then for some reason, another lady dropped it off. It would not have been so bad but it's all about the details. We had asked for a side of ranch and barbecue and side of pickles. Our waitress didn't come back for a minute and went and got our pickles initially. On top of that she did not check on us very much. I don't expect over the top service nowadays but I definitely expect better service than we had there. In addition I don't feel she deserved the tip I gave her but she was hovering over the card machine when I put in the amount. To make the experience better in the future stay with your customers and listen to them when they tell you what they would like. Don't switch things up on them. Because truthfully, the other woman should have got the tip if that was the situation. May not come back. Lastly for what we ordered it was a little pricey.

The menu options for appetizers used to include more. The happy hour specials used to include a really good burger that is no longer there as well. It also seems like they've reduced the quality of the appetizers, at least during happy hour. The fries are really good, but that's about it. Don't get the nachos unless you love Velveeta. The chicken tenders are way smaller and very dry. The brussel sprouts used to be good, but now they come with an overpowering amount of sauce and cheese that makes them a chore to eat.

My recent experience was absolutely horrible. Jackie our server had the worst customer service. The bartender made the most watered down drink I have ever tasted(I wish I got her name) As much as I love the chicken sandwich I will not return to this location. After asking to speak to a manager I was completely appalled at the behavior of the manager in Charge. I felt completely disrespected. The manager Sandra Schultz laughed in my face and said she didn’t care if I emailed corporate because she is the general manager. Another guest overheard her and Jackie say derogatory things about me and as much as I wanted to confront her. I decided to leave and spend my money somewhere else.

Rats. Another franchise down the tubes. I used to really like this place. Brussels sprouts were inedible. Chili was not the same recipe. Soooo disappointed.

I gave one star, because the food was ok and we liked the last time we ate at the Rusty Bucket, but all six of our orders were wrong. The worst restaurant experience ever. 1.) Long green thing in a glass of water. 2.) Hair on my plate, disgusting. 3.) My cocktail is supposed to be served with a lime, I requested three additional times and after our food arrived I got a glass full of limes, this was a laughable moment. 4.) Took three trys to get the salad requested. It was still missing the chicken and the side order of fries, but could not go through it again. 5.) All three burger orders were wrong, but the kid's didn't care that much. 6.) Order of french onion soup never made it to the dinner table, but it was ordered and watress was reminded four times. After everyone was almost complete with our meals, a tomato basil soup arrived. Waiting for Just for Laugh's or Candid Camera staff to come running out. There will not be a next time for us. The Moose Preserve is far better choice. Good luck.

We just had the worst service here. Our server Maggie never came back to the table. Never brought items we requested. Never cleared one plate. When we asked for the bill she hovered over and watched us tip on the tablet. I found this very intrusive and inappropriate. Even then she still didnt clear a plate. With service like that I cannot see this place staying in business much longer.

My husband and I had dinner there for the first time. People bragged about their meatloaf there saying it was homemade and it was delicious. It was like wet hamburger with gravy on it. There was no flavor to that meatloaf I paid way too much money for that. Meatloaf never again

I don’t know how this place rates as high as it does because every part of our meal was disgusting. The queso dip was literally spinach soup from a can, my son’s fries were cold and chewy, his burger had so much gristle in it, he couldn’t finish it. The blackened fish tacos were rubbery and just not good at all. Expected so much more but so disappointing!!

Leaving more starts than deserved and that’s only because the waitress did a good job. The food was NOT good. So bad I felt the need to leave a negative review, when I typically only give positive. The sliders were cold dry and hard. The tacos was just awful too. I mean…even the garden salad was bad. My husband will eat anything and he didn’t finish a taco.
