The shrimp cocktail was very delicious, definitely the perfect amount of juice. The shrimp in garlic sauce need to be added a lot of butter and more chopped garlic, because the one they put in was burnt... it smelled but the flavor wasn't intense, I would only ask for that detail on my next visit.

The cocktails are great, the shrimp enchilpayados are almost pure cream but the portion is super generous, and the rice is delicious. The plantains are also very tasty. Everything was good except the shrimp needed more chilpaya sauce.

Chespirito Cocktail Bar, the original one (J.B. Lobos), has excellent cocktails, great flavor... The service is good and the owner is almost always there... Later they added prepared food, also very good, and they continued to grow until they now have a restaurant a block away (Alcocer), air-conditioned, with fast service, exquisite flavor, and affordable prices. So, with the intense heat here in the Port of Veracruz, I'm going to enjoy the restaurant, whether it's food from the cold or hot bar, but in an air-conditioned place...

Rico los alimentos pero aunque les pidas primero un alimento y después otro, ellos llevan el segundo y después el primero que solicitaste, ya en dos ocasiones sucedió, por eso el comentario. Reitero alimento rico y fresco. La atención un poco deficiente. Gracias.

They got a new location on the other corner from the place where I think they only sell cocktails now. Apparently, they're trying to set up tables and run a more complete kitchen. The place is ugly, tiny, and the employees are embarrassing. I think the waitress couldn't even write. The octopus I ordered was tough. I didn't like it. The service was slow and poor. Apparently, the owner is around, but even so... One thing that's definitely unforgivable is that since the kitchen is on the first floor, they ring a bell to notify the downstairs to come up and collect what's coming out. The bell is actually scary every time it rings. (Stupid, both the kitchen being upstairs and the damn bell.) I definitely won't be back... oh, and the bathroom is a mess. Pff.

Terrible service. I waited over an hour for my food, and the place isn't very clean. I calmly asked why it was taking so long, and a woman who seemed to be the manager answered me very rudely. I don't recommend this place.

Terrible service, I ordered a fish fillet, and I asked if they could give me Valentina, they told me they didn't have it, when I was looking at it right in front of me, also my consumption was 295 and they charged 300, I mean there's nothing wrong with it because it's only 5 pesos, but if it's for them to tell you hey you know I don't have change I'll give you 200 and that would have been different, not that the action was wrong, based on the place it seems very bad to me that the workers are all sitting at a table with their cell phones, when there are customers there eating.

Terrible and horrible "restaurant," if you can call it that. The service and food were the worst. I do not recommend this place at all. It's extremely expensive, and the food is absolutely not worth it. I would never return to this place even if they invited me. They had no drinks of any kind; it took over an hour to give us two dishes (small cocktails). They didn't bring anything! It was a joke, not to mention the price. It was the worst restaurant I've ever been to - 10,000. And above all, the place was dirty and smelly.
