This restaurant is amazing. The owner Tony was actually there and talked with us for a few minutes. Amazing food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. The thing that really struck me was Tony remembered my name and by guests name. After and hour or so of eating he came up and thanked us. That little gesture says it all.

Valentine's Day Dinner with my family here was amazing. Susan and Zoey were awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and specials. The food was so delicious and this was our second time back. This is one of our favorite places to go. Thank you for the wonderful food, cozy atmosphere and our food coma. It was well deserved. Highly recommend this place for some excellent food and drinks. If you are ever in Bowling Green stop in and enjoy the deliciousness.

This place is just amazing, the food is so delicious. The steaks are so juicy and flavorful. Wonderful atmosphere and the staff, so friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. They know their stuff. We highly recommend this place, it has been the best so far since we moved down here. Definitely stop in and give this place a try if your ever in Bowling Green 💚

Even better than their Lexington spot. Ethan was the man and kept our table of 12 very happy. Everything was delicious. Would highly recommend the seabass, oysters, ice-cream and cookie combo for a dinner well spent.

We were heading to Bowling Green for the Firehouse and Warrant concert and wanted a nice dinner beforehand. We found Tony’s on TikTok and, after checking Yelp and Google reviews to confirm it was legit, decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did! Tony’s is connected to the Embassy Suites hotel, with convenient and free self-parking. We arrived a little after 5:30 PM for our reservation and were seated promptly. The dining area looked lovely, though we were seated in the bar area, which still had a nice ambiance. To start, we ordered a lavender cocktail and a glass of Malbec—both were great. The sourdough bread with whipped butter they brought out was a nice touch. We shared a crab cake appetizer that was very tasty and fresh. For our entrées, we each had the 9 oz filet. I ordered mine medium and my husband went with medium rare. Both steaks were slightly undercooked from our requested temps, but still flavorful and tender. We finished off the night with a massive slice of peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. It was rich, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight. Although service was a bit slow when it came to bringing out the food, we really enjoyed our time at Tony’s. It made for a great start to our concert night. Would definitely return!

4.5 stars Great date night at Tony's. Service from Jason was great and his fellow associates helping to clear the table.. even the managers walking around checking on us. The food was very good and had a good selection of items to choose from. The crabcake appetizer is the absolute closet thing to a Maryland Crabcake I have had outside of MD. The shrimp and grits were good but I was hoping for more of a cream sauce vs a gravy style sauce. I liked the fried grit cake that would have been better with the cream vs the gravy. But the shrimp and sausage were all cooked perfectly and very tasty. The lamb chops were excellent and it's sides were decent.. potatoes and a grilled romaine lettuce. The Brussel sprouts were a hit and all a la carte sides are for sharing. Bar made us a lavender martini which was very good and the beer selection is small. The deserts are huge and we are thankful for our free desert for the bday we were celebrating. Ate on that piece of cake for 2 days and it was still great! So overall it was a great experience that we liked a lot for 2 bills.

Tony’s Steaks and Seafood in Bowling Green makes an immediate impression, though the online reservation system has quirks for solo diners. You’ll need to reserve for two and then clarify in person, otherwise your chances of booking are slim. The welcome at the front desk is warm and effortless, and seating is quick. The hospitality feels distinctly Southern, with staff leaning into genuine friendliness. There’s no printed mocktail list, but that turned out to be a perk. The bartender worked up a custom drink of honey, lemon, grapefruit, hibiscus syrup, and orange juice. It was balanced, bright, and a standout. The space itself is stylish, with modern décor and a lively soundtrack. Chillhouse beats from Matthew Kramer set the tone, though the volume edged toward intrusive early on. Once the dining room filled, the music seemed more in step with the atmosphere. Patrick, my server, handled the evening gracefully with support from Elli, who addressed me with a respectful “sir” every time. Zach, the general manager, made the rounds and stopped by to welcome me, a thoughtful touch. The bread service is memorable, offering Italian sourdough with both whipped sweet bourbon butter and a salted variety. From there, the Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare arrived with a playful interpretation, soy, sesame, candied ginger, avocado purée, and a crisp cucumber carrot fennel salad. Not a traditional take, but well executed. The New Zealand rack of lamb was the highlight. It came with roasted fingerling potatoes, a grilled romaine heart, and a rosemary mustard pan sauce. The kitchen scaled down the bourbon whipped sweet potatoes for me, but even the half portion was indulgent. The marshmallow topping gave it the decadence of sweet potato pie filling. By dessert, I was already impressed, but the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and chunks of chocolate was too tempting to resist. It landed with all the comfort and nostalgia you’d hope for. Between the cuisine, the personality of the service, and the lively but polished atmosphere, Tony’s hits the mark. It’s the kind of place that leaves you smiling when you step out the door, and it deserves a spot on your dining list. #BowlingGreenEats #SteakAndSeafood #SouthernHospitality #FoodieFinds #MeijerFineDiningClub

We celebrated both our 22nd, and 23rd anniversaries at Tony’s Steakhouse Restaurant. On our 22nd last year we both had the excellent steaks and salad. It was delicious and worth the price. This year we celebrated with the green salads and Calamari appetizer. We decided to try the pork chop dinner and split it for two. Good thing we did. The pork chops came out with two in a rack of chops. I cut the chops into and we each had one. They were awesome. The meal came with sweet potatoes and collard greens. They were both deliciously prepared. We ended the night with a free dessert of our choice for our anniversary. We chose the chocolate cake it was Devine a superb dessert. We highly recommend Tony’s for your special dinner occasion.

we tried this place for the first time tonight, and it was nothing short of amazing. from the bar to the table we had such a great experience. our server ethan was phenomenal. he knew the menu so well, and recommended us so many delicious items. we will definitely be returning.

We stopped in with last minute reservations and were seated in the patio area which was fine, but it is a more casual compared to the white tablecloth dining in the main area so I gave it only 4 stars for atmosphere. All of our food choices were excellent. We both enjoyed our cocktails while having the homemade bourbon bitter on warm bread. We started with calamari, I had the PEI mussels for my entree and my husband had the braised short ribs and then we ended with a decadent warm chocolate chip cookie topped off with a huge scoop of vanilla cream drizzled with caramel sauce. 5 stars for food and service!

Calamari appetizer and the pork chop with bourbon whipped sweet potatoes. Simply a palette sensation. On top of the great food was the staff who truly attend to your every need. Can't go wrong here!!!

UPDATE: 12/22/25 THIS restaurant has NEVER disappointed us ! Everything was still TOP NOTCH! From the amazing service from our waiter ZACK and TREVOR to the delicious food and cocktails. One of our absolute favorite restaurants ❤️ Headed to dinner in Bowling Green instead of dealing with the Nashville traffic during the holidays. Tony’s was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the ambience was perfect. The service was top notch with DELICIOUS food cooked perfectly. When ordering your entrees keep in mind that the portions are large! My bone in pork could’ve feed three people and the same with the rack of lamb. We’re always looking for new restaurants that are on the higher end with great food and this is it! Will definitely be returning.

Excellent dinner and service this evening. In town from SC to pick up a new corvette at the National Corvette Museum. Patrick and Preston were great despite being very busy.

I would recommend Tony’s. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our experience here. The atmosphere is pleasant and upscale without being pretentious. I do find some of their pricing to be ambitious, but their execution is excellent, so it’s basically justified. The standout for me was the wedge salad with blue cheese instead of ranch; outstanding! The pistachio pesto pasta was a bit too nutty and strong, but the short ribs were very flavorful. The extra horseradish with the shrimp cocktail was excellent, as was the smoky house-made cocktail sauce. Our server Lauren did a very good job, as did Kennedy. We felt valued as customers, and we would go back. I would recommend it as a comparable alternative to Hickory & Oak or The Bistro, both in Bowling Green.

The food was amazing. The portions were so generous. The service was top notch. The owner even came over to ask about our meal and wished us a Happy Anniversary.

Anniversary Dinner done right! We really enjoyed the staff, and the food for our celebration evening. The in-house sourdough bread with the bourbon butter was a great start. The Crab Cake is a must try with super fresh meat and soft filling. Our steak was done perfectly, and the sides were fantastic, especially the Sweet Potato with in house marshmallow. When we did have any issues management was a pleasure to work with and made our evening right.

We don't usually come to a high-end restaurant quite like this but it was our 5th wedding anniversary and they made the evening really lovely. We weren't able to sit at a table but we didn't mind sitting at the bar (they were very busy but still took us in) and everyone was very attentive. We had nice short chats with the staff and the food was incredible! My favorite was the truffle wedges, they were so hard to stop eating. It was definitely worth every penny and we very much enjoyed ourselves.

Tonight my friend celebrated her birthday at Tony's. It was everyone's first time there. The first thing to know about this restaurant for most people is the price point; most entrees start at $35 and for Filet Mingon or Alaskan crab you can count on paying $70 or up for the entree. The sides are purchased separately and served family style. Each side can be split between 2 to 3 people. Plan to spend a minimum of $80 to $100 per person if you want to choose from their wide range of options. Plan to leave a generous tip, and I'll explain why below. My party was assigned a lead server, a server trainee, and two assistant servers. Our party wanted for nothing during our two hour meal experience. While the server was away checking on our food and on other tables, the assistant servers made sure that our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. They had great timing and were never intrusive. They kept that table cleared of dirty dishes, and appetizers/entrees/desserts came out in a well timed manner allowing us to fully enjoy each course with time in between to digest and talk. I've been to restaurants both foreign and domestic, from exclusive to roadside shack. Tonight I experienced the best service of my life! To top it off, the serving staff was genuinely kind and we all enjoyed talking to them as well. Now to the food! I took pictures of several dishes, and was able to try a few dishes that others ordered as well! Let's first talk about the appetizers. We were served bread and butter as a starter, with two options for butter. There was standard butter and a bourbon butter. If you don't try that bourbon butter you'll be kicking yourself! One couple ordered beef tartar and although I didn't taste it, they said they really enjoyed it. Beef tartar is not a dish I would enjoy based on texture. I did try the calamari and thoroughly enjoyed the dish; not only was the calamari cooked to perfection but the garlic aioli put it on the next level for me. It's a dish that I would absolutely order again. I also tried the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which I ordered as my entree, it was so fabulously fresh. I enjoy crab the most out of all seafood and the crab tasted as if it had been caught within a day. Other entrees that I tasted were Penne Carbonara and Pistachio Pesto Orecchiette. The Penne Carbonara was a light and mild tasting dish, and the pasta seemed to be fresh made; the person that originally ordered it said she wasn't that impressed with it, but I enjoyed it and would order the dish in the future. The dish I liked more was Pistachio Pesto Orecchiette; not only was this a Pistachio Pesto but there was a hint of mint and it really made the flavor pop for me. I'm not usually a person who enjoys mint in my food, but I really enjoyed that dish and will possibly order it next time. One of the guys ordered Filet mignon and said it was one of the best steaks he's tasted. I asked him how it compared to Hickory & Oak and he said the taste was completely different but he enjoyed both steaks equally. We ordered several sides. I only ordered a baked potato which was great, but standard as other places. I did enjoy all the toppings I received when I said "loaded;" they don't skimp! Finally, I ordered the cheesecake and my God it was heaven! It was a perfect mixture of savory and sweet to me, but was nonetheless very rich. It was also a very generous slice so I enjoyed that at home while writing this review. Overall, I would rate Tony's as one of my favorite dining experiences ever! Thank you to the truly lovely staff for ensuring that my friend had a memorable and wonderful birthday!

We were very excited to celebrate two people’s birthdays at Tony’s. From the time we sat down, until the last plate was cleared this was as much of a food experience as it was a delicious meal. Our waiter, Blake, was very courteous and explained all parts of the menu to us. He explained the levels of doneness and what to expect from each level. We ordered appetizers as well as the main course. All agreed the steaks were cooked to perfection and all were delicious. We enjoyed several sides but the sweet potatoes stood out. We ordered desserts as well. The desserts were all tasty but the chocolate toffee cake took home too dessert for us. Between the very attentive staff, the perfect food and the jazz band playing recognizable songs, we had a splendid evening. We hope to patronize this restaurant for all special occasions.

Da Ciao

The premier restaurant in southcentral Kentucky, this place offers the classic fine dining experience. Nestled within the Embassy Suites (Hilton) off of Lovers Lane, this is easily accessed from surface streets or from I-65. Plenty of parking. Steaks and seafood are their specialty; their side dishes are large enough to be shared, though. Wait staff can explain the menu well; their bar offers strong pours. Well recognized for celebration dinners and company parties.

Great service, Katie does a fantastic job! Steak was great, and the salad was great. But you get what you pay for. This place is definitely high class and not for the cheapo. Great work, by all! I will come again.

Brayden was excellent! She explained everything perfectly and made sure we knew exactly what every option was on the menu. Ask for her when you dine in everytime. Service was good, food was great and the whole experience was great. Will return soon!

Everything about Tony's was top notch. It was a 45 min drive from me to meet some customers there. The atmosphere, food, drinks were incredible. The staff were attentive, the specials were interesting (I just got the filet), and it was not too loud either. I will be back with my wife for date night. When you get there, the parking is a bit rough as it is connected to an Embassy Suites.

Atmosphere was great, it felt like what you would think it would at any high end establishment. Lauren took pride in her job, and I would say she was one of the best waitress’s I’ve ever had. Service was great and the food was even better. I loved there attention to detail down to boxing up your leftovers to take home. Can’t wait to go back.

It was our first time at Tony’s this past weekend for Mother’s Day. The sourdough bread with bourbon butter was insanely delicious. Every single person at our table had a wonderful experience from the wine to our meal. Dessert was also fabulous. Our server was Jason and he was absolutely fantastic! The hostess was welcoming and sweet. We really did enjoy every single aspect of this establishment and we will definitely be going back. Our meals were insanely delicious and I cannot wait for next time! If you haven’t been give this place a try.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A New York vibe paired with Southern hospitality! The food is exceptional, and the service couldn’t be better. Incredibly attentive to detail and did everything they could to make our time there amazing. Matt, Drew, Vanessa, and Autumn were all fantastic. Attentive, professional, and very friendly. The two managers, Zach and Dave were wonderful and treat you like your family! Dave even remembered our names!!! Patrick, who is a server was a delight! Very funny and friendly. Exactly what you want in a full dining experience. We ate there two nights in a row on our getaway it was so good. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I had a date night here last evening and it was a fantastic experience! We have eaten at many nice steakhouses but this was our first time here. Our waiter, Cameron, was great! He took plenty of time to explain the menu and made sure the food and the cocktails kept coming! Thanks for a great evening! Also, the crab cake is a MUST try!

It was wonderful to get out to eat with my folks. You see my dad has had a litany of health issues as of late.... We came out to celebrate life and enjoy each other's company. Jason our server was fantastic. Brent the AGM greeted us with respect and warmth that really made the night more special. Food was incredible. I would suggest this spot to anyone looking to celebrate or really just have a wonderful evening. Ask for Jason. As someone who has worked in the industry for 20 years, this restaurant is special.

Food is always amazing, atmosphere is amazing. Staff is top level. We are "regulars" here as in once a month to every other month. The manager Zach (Unsure of his spelling) is amazing and kind. The wine list is very good. The steaks are amazing and so is all the food. The live music on the weekend is also very good and very fun. Our waiter several times, Zach (different than the manager) is excellent and remembers our names, orders, and favorite wines. It is not cheap but worth every penny for the professional service and excellent food along with good memories.

I have to start by saying it’s nice to have more fine dining options in Bowling Green. Overall great experience, we started the night off with an Old fashioned and my wife had a Paloma, both were prepared correctly and were delicious. They also have an amazing wine selection, and did enjoy a glass with my entree. As an appetizer we ordered the crab cake, and I must say I did not expect the best crab cake I have ever had to come from western Kentucky! The entree portion of the meal my wife had the salmon ( which she gave high praise for) and I had the 9oz filet. The cut of meat and seasoning were perfect and even though the temp was more medium well than medium it was so delicious and tender that I didn’t bother to bring it to anyone’s attention. For dessert we ordered the cherry cheesecake. Opportunities for Tony’s 📍 The hostess staff we encountered was not very welcoming. When I plan on spending $300+ on a meal I expect to at least feel like they want me there. 📍 With the nice bourbon selection you offer a single ice ball or cube would be better served with a bourbon cocktail vs the same ice I would have received had I ordered a Coca Cola. Overall you will not be disappointed with Tony’s. The atmosphere is brilliant, the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the food was amazing!

Came here with my mom to celebrate a career milestone on a Sunday night. I don't feel like reservations were necessary. Pros: 1. Food was great. They had east and west coast oysters which were very good. My ribeye was delish. 2. Decor was cool. 3. Service was good. 4. Pacing was spot on. Cons: 1. Drinks weren't great. 2. Didn't love the location inside of a hotel. I wish I had tried the Mac and cheese. Overall, I would come back here, but only after I've tried other nicer places in town.

We had a very good experience. Their bourbon butter is unique & good. Crab cakes & braised short ribs were excellent. Staff, managers & Tony were attentive & made sure our food was perfect. We will be back.

The grilled chicken on the pistachio pesto orecchiette was pretty dry, and the mushrooms were just okay, but my husbands steak was fantastic and we loved the calamari. The service was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. The seasonal peanut butter s’mores cheesecake was a great little bonus. Overall Tony’s is a great restaurant.

R

Ribeye was delicious. Dessert tasted like a boxed frozen cake. Mac n cheese was nothing special. Atmosphere isn’t amazing but good. I’m more of a Hickory and Oak guy.

We had a 5pm reservations, told us to goto the bar and wait. 3 fancy guys at bar watched us not get seated until 5:20, nobody seemed to care. Luckily at 14 top seated right after us with same server so the 3 fancy guys could watch us not get served, no buggy just late for our concert and out $300. Probably be a long time before we give this another try.

Very beautiful restaurant inside and out. Vibe was amazing but they fell way short from the price. The only thing that was worth the money was the steak. They had to cook mine more because it was very undercooked when brought out. While I was waiting for it to return when had an ant crawling across the table. This shouldn't ever happen at a place that cost $240+ for only me and my wife !! The manager tried to brush it off and just picked the ant up amd killed it when I showed him. Asked me " where did that lil fella come from" as he smached it in his fingers then acted like it was a first and not a big deal. I disagreed that it actually was a big deal due to the high class experience expectations hooked to this new classy restaurant. He walked away and comped us a free dessert. I feel like they fell short with us on our first time trying them out and overlooked it honestly. They do better at Texas road house or longhorn when they mess up or have faults that need addressed by a manager. And never have bugs on the tables. Maybe it was an isolated event with a bad day but as of now I don't recommend mostly because of how they handle things when they mess up.

Been waiting and wanting to eat here since 2023. My bride got the steak, well done. She loved loved loved it. Hey can’t argue if that is the way she wants it. I had the Chilean sea bass served over bulger, I mean barley. As a 15 year fresh and Mediterranean guy, lose the barley. Doesn’t add to the meal but takes away. And man it was so so much of it. Had it again tonight as leftovers and feel the same way. Love the place, but if you aren’t a steak person, look at the salmon or blackened tuna. Good place and great place for Bowling Green. I am a realistic reviewer and not a follower. Not Anthony bordain, but have eaten and worked in restaurants all over the world.

I dine at Tony’s when in town once a month for 2 years or so. Foods always good: good solid steaks done the way they should. Fish is ok. Great wine list. Service though: it seems they are very selective of the people they provide good service to. sometimes it’s reasonable but service in the bar area or enclosed patio is terrible. Couldn’t get a water refill the entire time I was there today- even though I asked for it 5-6 times. Overall: good food. Have low expectations for service if dining alon.

S
Scott Lewis

Food and atmosphere were great. Server was more interested in a table of friends than being a good server. Very disappointing in that we had heard so many good things about this restaurant. I’m sure they have better employees working some evenings.

H
Hannah Clark

The hostess and our waiter were very kind and on top of things. We had a reservation and went to the bar while I waited for a table to be cleared. The hostess came back up to us to let us know it was ready which only took about 5-10 minutes. The waiter stayed on top of drinks and also recommended things in his opinion. We got the crab cake which was good however since it was such a big lump it was cold in multiple spots. I got salmon which was overcooked and he got the lamb. He said it was not seasoned well. No flavor. We ordered sides to share, asparagus was not cooked thoroughly. The mushrooms however he did say that there's red pepper in them, they were good but a little heated for me. The macaroni was great. A lot of people have reviewed Tony's as a really good place. However we've been to hickory and oak and both agree that if you're going to spend the money, go to hickory and oak it's much better.

R
Randa Aldarawish

The staff were extremely rude. I found a shell in my salad and told one of the servers, and she responded, “Let me check—the chef doesn’t know where it came from.” Earlier, before my food was served, she had told me my mocktail was on the house because a waitress had taken it away when we changed tables without letting me know. But after I discovered the shell in my salad, she ended up charging me for the oxtail. It was very disappointing, especially since I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant last year. I probably won’t be returning because of how rude the staff were.

J
Joshua Julian

Ordered filet (9oz) and it was not very good. It wasn’t cooked properly and what made it worse, these people didn’t seem like they cared. After they made the steak again and it still not being cooked correctly I cut it open so they could see. They never once said anything about the steak looking raw. It didnt have much flavor and had a weird chewy texture.

m
mmaryroberts

I’ve been to many restaurants and they always accommodate my dairy allergy with substitutions. I called to ask if they could accommodate my dairy allergy and the girl said she would speak to her manager. She put me on hold for maybe 10 seconds and came back on and said they have no dairy free accommodations. I find that quite surprising and also disappointing for such a big restaurant. We will not be recommending or visiting this location.

M
Mara Lowhorn

Came here for my birthday and had a 40+ minute wait despite having a reservation! Service was slow but good, and it wasn't enough to make up for the mid food and long wait time. We had other plans for the night but had to cancel them due to spending 3+ hours here. What a disappointing experience!
