My recent visits here are usually kinda late, like an hour and half before closing. We are always welcomed in and never rushed. The atmosphere is great, and the waiter Jonathan is a gem. Works hard and is a consistent face. He is attentive and thorough. The food is on point and the prices are great, can't ask for more. Thank you Applebee's for being that neighborhood gathering spot in Brenham.

As soon as you walk in you are welcomed & seated. Our waiter was really sweet & kept our glasses full. We order the 8oz steak & the 4 cheese mac & cheese the food was really good. For dessert we had the pecan buttermilk cake & it was addicting!!! Over all it was a good experience in a great environment.

We had a great time at this location! Their brisket tacos are on point and the zesty chicken sandwich was great! Our server, Tanner, was very helpful and attentive to our party. Our order came out quickly after we placed our order. We plan to dine here again soon!

Atmosphere was great, so were the patrons at the bar. Bartender very helpful too!

Norma and Ali went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend this location. They are a tier above the rest and it’s not close.

Edit: This location has had a total 180 with the new management and staff, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Our nachos and french onion soup were excellent and I hope to see this store continue doing amazing! Thanks a ton to our server and the manager! I'll definitely be eating here again. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The night staff are RUDE and so slow. We had been waiting 20+ min for our drinks when a whole family stood up and told the night manager they're leaving because they waited 30+ min for their waters as well. The night manager told the mother of the family to "leave her store and stop being rude" the lady was not being rude and was just understandably annoyed. I spoke to her in the parking lot and she's never experienced anything that horrible before nor has she made a complaint to that degree. The night manager should be fired immediately this kind of behaviour is appalling and a stain on the franchise. Don't eat here unless you like being ignored, yelled at, or waiting forever for some service.

The host needs to keep a better eye on the door but we didn't wait too long. Good was good, Elizabeth's service was excellent, and I have never seen another Applebee's clean under the seat cushions. This one does.

Forever Young hosted a team building happy hour. The atmosphere food and service were above average. I highly recommend using them for meetings and friendly, social gatherings.

Had a great time at Applebee’s! Colby was my bartender and he did an awesome job — super friendly, fast, and made sure my drink was always topped off just right. The atmosphere was great and the service really stood out. Ally, the manager on duty, also checked in to make sure everything was perfect — you can tell she really cares about her guests and her team. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had at an Applebee’s. I’ll be back for sure!

Applebees Brenham is a dining experience unrivalled in the lonestar state. The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger was a revelation. A lesser establishment would’ve made a cheeseburger and call it a day. Not Applebees Brenham. The addition of grilled cheese to the cheeseburger was inspired. Our server Nikki was as capable as she was caring and I have just now cancelled my return flights to New Zealand so that I may dine here one more time.

We eat here a few times a month. They are very good to military service veterans offering a 20 percent discount on food items. Alcohol drinks are not included in the discount. Right now they have a special offer on a cheeseburger combo meal with unlimited drinks and fries for $9.99. With the military discount it’s $7.99. That’s unbelievable!

It’s an Applebees so should be fairly predictable but we were kinda hesitant when we saw it’s 2 star rating. Everything was super good though! Not the cheapest but we did the 2 for $35 deal… 2 small entrées and an appetizer. Excellent half rack of BBQ ribs with amazing sauce (request extra for the fries) and the Cajun salmon was cooked perfectly! The spinach artichoke dip is probably the best I’ve ever had with perfect tortilla chips! The atmosphere was nice most of the time (lots of TVs and soft classic rock playing) although a girl at the bar had obviously overindulged… at the bar! The manager and our waiter Jonathan both apologized for her disturbance (not that her stupidity was their fault) but it wasn’t a big deal. Not a fancy 5 star restaurant but I probably wouldn’t be eating there if it was! Overall we had a great, relaxing meal with fast and super friendly service and it definitely deserves more than 2 stars!

First time in a long time since eating here. Always good food and exceptional service, we have just been busy. Today was very good. I had a new dish of grilled chicken breast topped with mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce and parmesan sauce. Excellent. My husband got the steak. It was good, cooked the correct way, except one bad part. Service was outstanding, thank you Hayden.

Sadly, the hostess was better than the waitress herself. He brought us our waters our drinks. We asked her several times for things and she would forget that he would wind up bringing them. Because I think she was embarrassed.

Ordered the 10oz ribeye with the pasta bacon cheese and fries. The steak came very good. Not the best quality but was not under or over cooked and was very tasteful. The server was really nice and was a pleasant experience on a Wednesday night.

Hadn't been to an Applebee's in years. Nothing much has changed. Food was decent but Caesar salad had no croutons and I had to request them. Prices were reasonable. Waiter was diligent without being intrusive.

We visit this restaurant often and enjoy our experiences there. Chris Holt always gives a warm welcome and seats us according to our wishes. The wait staff is efficient, and the food is always good. We have had a couple of times when there was some confusion understanding the specials on the menu, but not anything that would keep us from coming back. We especially enjoy getting the hamburger special on Mondays. Thanks for all you do!

Service is slow, I did not receive what I ordered. Ordered an 8oz steak, received a 6oz steak. Part of my wife's order was missing. For some reason, the waitress couldn't deliver unsweetened tea. There was no refills. Rarely saw the waitress. I gave them 3 stars, because the food was really good.

Food was good. Service was lacking. Appetizers came out with no problems but then we seemed to be an afterthought for our waitress. My husband didn't get the shrimp he ordered until he was half done with his plate and I never was brought my food. I'm not sure if the waitress was cooking or what but it seem like everyone stayed in the back. Our waitress did refund our ticket for the salad I ordered.

Not worth the drive we had six people at our table the food took a good while to come out so be prepared to wait if you do decide to dine in appetizer came out shortly before our meal my husband whiskey burger was over cooked and the sauce wasn’t pleasant I did have the bacon chick ranch and it was a decent small dry chicken on a crispy bun (kids didn’t complain besides the yogurt tasted odd) the server was very nice and made us laugh

If you are looking for a very quiet dinner with absolutely NO interruptions, this is the place for you. We were seated had our drink order taken and told that our server would be with us shortly. 30 minutes later our server comes, no drinks still, to....you guessed it, take our drink order. Long story short, as soon as our server delivered our order which took over an hour, mind you people who came in 40 minutes after we ordered, ordered their food and got their food before we got ours. We didn't see our server and had to flag her down twice, once for a refill and the other time was to cash us out, the other times we needed something we had to flag another server near our area who would send our server. The food was decent enough, but could have been better.

The main purpose of this rating is to give kudos to Tony, our server, who was absolutely fabulous! We have been to this establishment before and the food was good. We’ve been to other Applebee’s and the food was better. On February 1, 2025 we decided to give it a go again and we traveled an hour. The service was excellent! Kudos to Tony!!! Had it not been for Tony, our experience that evening would have been definitely flawed. Not mentioning everything but a few of our issues were: The boneless chicken wings and ribs were overcooked, and the beer was not served in cold vessels. However, the sauce on both food dishes was good. The side dips, allegedly ranch and blue cheese, were lacking in the flavor they were supposed to be. Had we mentioned this to Tony I’m sure he would’ve made corrective measures. The error was the person doing the cooking. There were a few issues in that department. But a server cannot compensate for poorly flavored or cooked food other than to report it. Why should I have rained on his parade?! The blue cheese was not blue cheese at all. I’m not sure what it was but it had a slight tartar sauce taste to it. It’s not even like anybody tried to make it blue cheese; it was more like sour cream with a dash of seasoning. The restaurant cannot really be judged on a building structure or the decor motif; but it’s outdated and in some need of updating. Nor can I judge the atmosphere based solely on my taste as others might find it comforting so-to-speak. Congratulations to you Tony For making our evening less of a disaster 😊

The service was great, but I ordered the chicken Alfredo with broccoli. The meat was hard and chewy and flavorless. My kids enjoyed the chicken strips and We did enjoyed the dessert. But would not return in the future. They do have many more options to enjoy, but I myself will not stop by again.

March 2023 This location seems to have issues with food quality/quantity. Came here after a long weekend camping at Lake Somerville. I ordered a 3 kid's meals, & 2 adult meals. & one monthly drink special. 1st off the adult drink was very weak...like there was no alcohol in the drink at all. It was like I was just drinking the drink mix. I have been to a few Applebee's so I know how the drinks should be. I also wanted a meal item but they were out of it. The food that I order was lacking alot. My tomato basil soup was cold & looked like it was sitting on the counter for a while. It was chunky not smooth & it didn't have much toppings on it.There was no chicken in my wrap. Maybe like two tiny little pieces of it some where in the wrap. For one of the kid's meal I ordered yogurt & strawberries but was only given strawberries. I asked where the yogurt was and I was then informed that they were out of yogurt. Ok when was I gonna be informed, I would have had my son pick something else. I asked for at least a little more strawberries to balance out not having yogurt. (She had to go ask the manager for approval) Why would you let me order strawberries and yogurt if you didn't have yogurt. You could have come back to tell me that there was no yogurt & asked if I wanted something else. Nope they just brought out the strawberries like that's all that was supposed to come with the meal. She informed me after the yogurt drama that the food truck had not yet arrived, so they were lacking a few things. The service was decent and we didn't have to wait for refills. I guess she did the best she could with the lack of food they had July 2023 The service was the same. There was no food quality/quantity issues this time. I ordered tomato basil soup with a grill cheese & it came out good. Soup was smoooth this time. I ordered the $6 drink special. I asked for the new Tropical Mana Margrita, (which was yellow) but it wasn't until I was halfway done with the drink that the drink she brought me was blue. So I'm assuming that the drink she brought me was the Blue Bahama Mama. Either way the drink was good. BUT the only issue is I wanted the $1 dessert for after my lunch order. I was told it had to be the regular price of $1.99 for the dessert because I didn't order the dessert before 5pm. I asked about dessert after I finished my meal & it was 5:10p. But it was only 99 cents extra so I didn't mind paying for it, I really wanted a brownie for dessert. Update: Other than the small issues it was an ok experience. I'll keep the 3 star review I had.

Over the past year, we have been to this location 7 or 8 times, maybe more. Each time they have seemed short staffed and service and wait time was horribly unacceptable. My daughter and I went today for drinks. I decided to order the endless wings, my daughter said she wasn't hungry so she didn't order food, just drinks. When the waitress brought my order she told me her manager said if we shared the entree, I couldn't get more. So I asked her, do u mean if my daughter eats just 1 wing or a fry I can't get more? She replied yes. I told her I wasn't paying $12.99 for that and take it back. Unacceptable!

We left unhappy for a variety of reasons. First, the restaurant was dirty, inside, outside, and in the restrooms. Second, there was a long wait on service, followed by a ridiculously long wait on food, sprinkled with profuse apologies from the waitress. My wife was ready to leave and we were talking about this when the food finally arrived. Third, some of the items were cold.. Fourth, the waitress apparently thought we wouldn't give her a tip, because rather than leave us in peace to determine a tip and sign off, she stood at the table after she returned with the credit card and receipt, although we were not yet ready to leave. Until that time, I had not found fault with the waitress, but I thought that behavior was pushy and even rude. Sadly, her strategy worked, because we left a tip when in hindsight it was the one of the rare instances (less than 1% of the time) when a tip is unwarranted. We have been to many Applebee's restaurants over the years, and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had in one: we had never had a negative experience before. I will not be surprised if the "help wanted" signs in the door are a replaced with "under new management" or "closed" signs in the near future.

The place was busy, but we stood at the door for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. We should have taken that as a clue and left. Most people were seated at the bar, so we thought, since it was late, that maybe we should just seat ourselves. Picked a table in the bar area. The bartender and manager were slammed behind the bar. Neither looked up to even say hello. After another 10 minute wait, finally the manager noticed us and brings a server to come take our order. The servers had walked past us several times without stopping. It was busy, but not so busy that this felt justified. Food was good. Service sucks. Order to go and save yourself the trouble. If you're not wearing oilfield clothes, they barely acknowledge you. We had an appetizer and went home to cook because it was that slow.

So dated, smells a little bit like mildew. The food was not bad, the service was ok but slow, had to ask a few times about the Appetizer trying to make sure it didn’t come out at the same time as the meal. As slow as they were, The service should have been spot on. But it wasn’t.

The bartender who took our to go order was fantastic! The food not so much. We waited about 45 min for our food, it was still warm when we got it home, but it was overcooked, the salmon was hard and dry, maple mustard glaze sauce was tasty. The new pepper chicken pasta looked NOTHING like the picture - little or no bacon, 3 pieces of chicken. The bartender, great attitude, took care of all her customers, pleasant etc. She was a 5, the food was a 1.

We just love eating at Applebees - normally consistent food. Service today was terrible - either waiter or chef messed up all but one of our orders (dang, never DID get my coleslaw!!) This particular franchise was way outdated, but clean nonetheless. I was mentally begging the manager to stop by the table and ask how things were, but make on duty manager walked by table three times without even making eye contact. Bad experience here...orobabky won't be back (regretfully).

Ordered chicken wings Got dried out hard chicken nuggets. When I questioned it she said that was the only chicken wings. Looked again at menu and pointed out what I ordered. She then said well that’s not what I thought you wanted. She went to the manager and while pointing and bobbing her head had the manager (covered in hickeys) and decided I didn’t have wings. They replaced them but then the server continued to make her comments where she thought I couldn’t see her. Won’t be going back. The whole place was not professional and tacky.

I am not thoroughly convinced that although reasonably good their food is literally just kiwi dinners love the staff microwaves and then the stakes are put on the grill for a few minutes. The real trouble is their prices. They are charging like everything is made fresh in-house when it's clearly not. You want to charge prices like that.. show me quality like Chili's and Cheddar's where the cooks have actual skills. They make you wait a long time to make you think they are preparing the food in house when it's clearly not. Which is also super annoying.

I’ve never been to a more depressing Applebees in my life, definitely outdated and ran down. Food came out about room temperature, the restaurant was pretty slow so it doesn’t make sense to me. This is the reason why I stay away from Applebees. Wish it was good like it was back a few years ago. The manager did his best to right the situation.

The food can be good or bad sometimes, it all depends who is preparing it. I try the new bowl. Don't try the orange chicken bowl it has a bad taste, the chicken grill was good. Remember it's frozen food heated up, is not fresh. Don't get alcohol drinks waste of money.

We came in for dinner. Our food was very good and our server was very nice. But when we got the bill of $92 for 2 meals was way overpriced. Never been to a place and got up charged for every little thing. We went to Texas Roadhouse last week and had a a lot more food and was still only $70. We won’t be back. I’m not going to pay these high prices for changing the sides that come on the menu.

We went to Applebee's around 6:30 today and we were seated. The host gave us a menu and a happy hour menu. I specifically asked about the hours and was told it was all day. The waiter came to take our order. A little bit later another waitress came and said the drinks were ringing up regular price and no one knew how to correct it in the system. I informed her there was no need to go any further as we were going elsewhere. This was a horrible first experience. We ended up having a great meal down the freeway. No Applebee's for me.

We went to celebrate daughter's 21st birthday. There were 10 in our party. The hostess tried to seat us in 3 booths...wow A waitress was very nice and she saw to us getting tables put together and being seated. We ordered drinks which took about 30 minutes to get. We ordered appetizers and waited over an hour to get them...some 21st birthday celebration

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant ever. It took our server 20-25 minutes to just refill our drinks. They weren’t complex drinks. Just a lemonade and a Dr. pepper. They brought out an entirely different plate of food than we ordered. One of our meals was completely over cooked and on top of that our server practically disappeared the entire time we were here. She only appeared to tell us our food would be out soon. She was very absent for all the tables she was waiting on. All in all it was an awful experience. If you have Tiffany S. as your server I recommend you ask for someone else. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I know they were pretty busy but when your waitress only checks on you to get your drink order after 20 minutes waiting and then when you're about to leave then there's an issue. I'm not sure if they had to do the cooking for their own tables, but the wait was ridiculous. It Is our own fault that we waited. We should've just walked away. The worst service I have ever received! So many empty tables and yet it took 30 minutes to get seated. It took at least 10 to 15 minutes just to receive our ticket, be charged and get on our way. Our server gave us our food checked on us once after that. The manager or person that seemed to be in charge, Rosa Burns, was rude and unfriendly.

Walked in trying to get a small lunch in the middle of the drive home and there was an altercation happening between coworkers. It was right next to us and uncomfortable enough that my mom attempted to leave, but the waitress involved in the incident walked up to us and asked for drink orders, so we stayed. We should have left anyway. We ordered queso, and upon receiving it was very, very bland. It tasted like it was fresh out of the microwave. While waiting for our food, I went to the girl's restroom, only to find the stall wouldn't latch shut. Since the restroom was empty I used the stall anyway, just holding it shut myself, but the toilet seat was more than a little sticky. How does a toilet even get sticky???? It's possible a visual check was conducted but not an actual cleaning, because the bathroom appeared clean, but unless Applebees started switching out their Bam for apple juice there was no reasonable explanation for the toilet being as sticky as it was. As I was leaving the bathroom, I saw a sheet meant to track who was cleaning the restrooms on the back of the door. With 21 columns, three times for each day of the week, 4 columns were filled. The last filled column was on Thursday... It's Sunday. We got the chicken bowl, Mac and cheese with tenders, and french dip. The chicken bowl was topped with browning guacamole and pico de gallo with ice crystals, but somehow the rice was steaming hot. I guess somebody microwaved it too long, since that's clearly what's happening. The Mac and cheese was just very, very bland, even with added salt. The french dip, though the best looking item, was filled with very tough meat. We will definitely all end up having stomach issues, if not food poisoning, so thank you Applebees. We paid $70 and won't be coming back unless an alien wipes our memories.

Well things have changed. The manager was the cook, sent out burnt food. didn't get the marinara sauce with our food requested it, got cocktail sauce. My husband asked for a refill on his iced tea well, she took the glass 20 minutes later two trips to our table and he never got his iced tea. When we finally get our bill, they had a charge on there for the burned food that we requested they replace. Will not be going back. No manager should send out burnt food. And when you're a waitress and you only have four tables, there's no excuse. I spent many years as a waitress. I would never have served burnt food or treated customers so poorly.

I ordered a burger and a side of Mac & Cheese, first the mac-n cheese... it was basically penne pasta smothered in an Alfredo type sauce with a few pieces of cheddar cheese on top, it was cold, the cheese didn't even melt, was definitely not what I would consider mac-n-cheese... then the burger, which might have been good, had it not been sitting in a pool of Alfredo sauce, soggy and so slippery and slimy I couldn't even hold it, also cold, why not put the pasta in a side dish?? My wife had a southwest chicken bowl, she's had many times, but this time the pico was so hot/spicy she could barely eat it, she mixed it up like she usually does, so it was too late to take it out and put it aside, never had that issue before.... she also wanted to try the mac n cheese, same, cold and barely any cheese.. my wife barely ate any of it, told the waitress about the issues, she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't offer any replacement or any fixes, so we basically spent $90 bucks and left hungry. the drinks were soso, not sure if there was any alcohol in them, they did not taste anything like they have in the past.... definitely extremely disappointed and don't see us returning in the future.

DO NOT DRINK DRAFT BEER HERE. my budlight tasted soured, like a beer left in the sun for 3 days before drinking. My chips and queso tasted off, the chips were burnt on the very top of the stack like they were put in an oven. I didn't mention it in restaurant because there seemed to be a few locals that were none the wiser, and the waitress spoke more Spanish to me than English, she was also the only employ I saw the whole time.

Went for MothersDay the waitress had on a very strong perfume I am allergic to perfume so a young man waited on us. while waiting on our food the waitress passed by our table and brushed up against me cool let it go thought it was an accident but no then she came by again twice fanning herself then she passed by twice spraying her perfume everywhere that was final straw do not eat here now I'm home sick thank you Happy Mother's Day

We went last night for my birthday. We ordered the 2 for 25.00. The spinach dip and chips were so nasty no one at the table could eat. Onion rings appetizer were awesome. I ordered the cheese fried cheese burger, it was edible but not great. The cup of tomato soup that came with it was good, but they're was only a 1/4 cup of soup. Literally, 4 spoons of soup. I asked waitress if they ran out of soyp and she said, that's regular size but you've got French fries too. I told take my nasty fries back and give me soup. She said, that just the way we do it. My advice, when you serve a small cup of soup for a side, full the cup up. Chili's is right down the street. Next time, I may just go there

So my mom and I and my 13 year old son just left about 30 minutes ago. Our service started out great when we ordered but then quickly took a turn for the worst. Our food took like an hour to get to the table. We asked for water. Never got them. I had to stop the manager to get us some water. Asked for a box to take my leftovers home and never got it. Tried several attempts to stop our waiter and he kept going as he walked past us. A group of about 25 people came in and sat down in his section after we had finished our food. He started taking their orders and never came back to us. Our check was overcharged. Had to wait for the manager to correct it. We are from out of town and will never come back to this Applebee’s again.

Fried chicken sandwich was pre-breaded with no flavor. Fries were OK. Service was fast to seat you. Then went downhill fast. After the first round of iced tea No waitress to be found for refills. Our floor waitress was also the bartender. Even with tv dinner quality food and poor service, you have to figure out how to NOT Be forced to leave a 25% tip on their payment machine. Which is nothing more than a labor saving and face saving device for the restaurant. Facilities are very worn and tired looking with all the smells and problems that come along with age. This is a chain that's been on life support for a long time.

Server was really nice, but sadly the food was nasty. I ordered bbq wings appetizer and the chicken tasted old and the sauce was so sticky it tasted like candy. My other orders also tasted like they were re fried, all plates simply did not taste good.

With the music blaring so loudly we had to request it to be turned down 4 times. The 3rd time was met with a terrible attitude from Dee the bartender stating she turned it down 3 times already. Shortly after she began complaining about our request to her coworkers. This finally drove us to request our food to be placed to go as it was a terrible lunch atmosphere. Another customer stopped at our table on the way out thanking us for commenting on the loud terrible music. During the middle of the day with only a couple tables in use.

ROACHES at the table. DISGUSTING RESTROOMS !!!!! OVERSERVED BAR PATRONS, yelling across the bar and seemed normal as no response from anyone. Food was mediocre at best. Server was friendly. 12-9-2025

Me and my grandmother went here for brunch 2 days ago and there were about 2 other parties dining at the same. I ordered a crispy chicken salad and my grandmother ordered a bacon burger. We got spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer but ended up having to send it back because it was watery. It took FOREVER to get our main course. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the wait due to the texture and temperature of the chicken in my salad, as well as my grandmother’s beef patty. I really don’t like to complain but the icing on the cake was that when I asked to see the manager over the issue he was very rude and dismissive. I also saw him scratching his butt while talking to the hostess. I really can’t recommend this restaurant in good conscience.

First our server spoke English as a second language. There was a language barrier. She brought us the drink order 2 times before it was right. I asked for an extra straw because my 8 year old didn’t get one. 1 straw!!! Finally my husband asked to speak to the manager. I got up to get a straw and the person who said they were the manager reached down grabbed five straws and said…The straws are in the silverware Honey. She huffed back to our table and before I could explain my son didn’t get silverware much less a straw she tapped her finger hard on my silverware and said in the silverware HONEY!!! I tossed the straws in the air and walked out. She did this loudly in the dining area right in front of everyone but worse in front of my 8 year old son. It was my birthday and family dinner. Turns out she wasn’t the manager but a rude young bartender pretending to be a super (heavyset, short brown curly hair). I went right down the road to Chili’s, had a wonderful experience, dropped over $100. I’m at least 20 years older than her and she called me HONEY dripping with rudeness RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE BUT ESPECIALLY MY 8 YEAR OLD SON!!! All over a straw!!! DO BETTER

I knew pulling into the empty parking lot on a Sunday at 11:30 this was going to be a disaster. 4 of us walked in and were sat down quickly, but that was the only "quick" portion of this 2 hour lunch visit. The food was nasty, cold and lacking flavor. I sat there looking out the window at Bush's chicken wishing I would have threw the car in reverse and drove on over there it was that nasty. (it was comparable to a knock off lean cuisine priced so high its embarrassing) I felt bad for our server and he was the only server working the entire restaurant. He finally had some help from the bartender with red hair, who has a very very bad attitude by the way. Other customers were getting up and leaving their tables because it was taking 30 minutes just to get an appetizer. It's 100+ outside, why is the AC not on and at acceptable temperature? The air is so stagnant and warm it's uncomfortable and makes the entire terrible situation worse. The bathroom was BEYOND disgusting (I won't attach the photos). Applebees has run its course, it's time to close down.

This was the worst service experience I've had. When ordering, my husband wasn't able to finish his order before the menu was snatched from his hand. We ordered drinks and could not order another round because the server/bartender left to pick up her child and left someone in charge who did not have the ability to make drinks. Our total was $113 without giving a break down. We ordered 8.99 , 6.99 lunch a 14.99 burger 4 mixed drinks 2 shots and 3 beers. The food was excellent, the service not so much I have NEVER not tipped but today I did not tip. 😔

Where to start Was in Saturday for a late dinner with my family When we arrived we where not acknowledged waited over 15 plus’s minutes to get seated my family order drinks, I order a water because I wanted to have an adult drink they where out sangria so had to pick a different drink , I order appetizer got the appetizer order our food meanwhile waited to get more refills on our drinks and for me to order my drink server never came back to take my order food came out didn’t asked he was rushing to live our table . We order stakes well done mine I had asked for no blood. I Return my plate because it had blood around the souse and it was medium well server took long to come tent to return the plate when I told the server I had asked for my stake fully cooked no blood extra well done Server started arguing with me about the way they cooked their stakes there. mind you you cud see the blood I explained to the server to me this is disgusting I can’t eat it like this , I stated to the server if they cud not correct my plate I didn’t wanted , at this point he walked away loving me talking , I feelt like server had no interests on correcting his mistake or taken care of our table he was to worried about printing tickets and other tables tip , to what I hurd I waited more than 45 mn for my plate to be corrected ones we called a different server all the servers where in a small office all together no one out but bar tender that would not acknowledge when we tried to catch his attention server we called to our table she involved management my family was done eating by then I asked for the ticket and finally my plate came out manager said he would pack it to go but at this point I was done and upset of how horrible my first time experience was Why wait 1:30 minutes to get a manager involved prompts to management not being disrespectful but he cud at least be out in lobby not in office making sure costumers are well taken care off and staff is not for playing on floor where costumer can see Moral of the story DONT GO HERE THEY DONT CARE FOR your BUSINESs!!! Save your money for a better place and experience

Don’t come at night!! Arrived around 9:30PM, didn’t leave till 11. We had a new server who made a couple mistakes, initially we understood but after many mess ups and waiting because he forgot to put our food in, never refilled drinks, chatting with other tables and had to get another server to bring half of our food out, we were over it. When we got the bill, we asked him to ask his manager to take some money off both tickets (3 of us on 2 tickets) one ticket for being rung up wrong, and a discount/comp on both for the poor experience. I made the mistake of giving my card early (luckily my friend hadn’t yet) and THEY RAN MY CARD *BEFORE* TELLING ME THEY WOULDNT TAKE ANY MONEY OFF. So I was not able to negotiate further and manager didn’t come to the table. They only took off $2 for the wrong item on my friend’s bill. Manager was young with curly red mullet hair and nose ring. Very unprofessional behavior.

1-Star Review for Applebee's October 20, 2024 I came to Applebee's today around 3:00 PM with my wife and daughter, excited to have a meal together. Unfortunately, we had an awful experience. Upon entering the restaurant, no one even acknowledged us. It felt like we were completely ignored, maybe because we were the only Latinos there. We arrived before a few other customers, yet they were seated, given menus, and had their orders taken right away, while we received no attention, no menus, and no drinks. It was disheartening and disappointing, and we ended up leaving without even getting served. This is unacceptable and does not reflect well on how Applebee’s treats its customers.

I do not recommend eating at apple bees in brenham Texas because there was hair in my food and a lot of hair in my family members food too.The food was cold and they took too long.

restaurant full of white old ppl! waitress wrote a note and brought it to the table. the note stated “since yall are all under 21 i can only give yall 1 drink” when everyone at the table was 21+! then he lied and told his manager we had a paper id. everyone had there physical drivers license! we called the manager to the table to clear it up!

Ordered Ceaser salad with lunch. Manager (Kim) delivered the food. The salad was iceberg lettuce. Told her that was not a Ceaser salad, it was iceberg lettuce. Kim replied that was the way they make it here and walked away. Waitress (Norma) checked in and we told her about the salad. Kim came up as we were talking and said to redo the salad. It came out partly Romain, partly iceberg. In summary Norma was great, Kim needs training in customer service.

Roaches! Went out for drinks and dinner. Sitting at the bar had a few drinks and an appetizer, ordered our last round of drinks and was getting ready to order dinner. All of sudden a German roach is running down the bar towards my husband arm, another customer to our left grabs a napkin and smooshes it on the bar. Leaves it there and continues eating his food. Said customer was either a regular or acquaintance of the bartender and didn't skip a beat. Seemed like that was normal. I was disgusted. We asked for the check and left. Didn't finish our last drinks and obviously left hungry without dinner. This place need a major deep clean and twice a week pest control.

Uber Eats delivered my cheeseburger. The worst I've ever had! It was soggy and greasy and tasteless. The fries were the same and the shake was tasteless and watery I certainly won't recommend this to anyone. A very bad experience!

Decided to do delivery today and I have never been so pissed off either food! First off it didn’t look like the picture and on top of that we paid for extra meat and cheese but look like they added one tablespoon of extra. No condiments for my son’s salad…so it was dry like the parking lot! I paid for dressing and never received any. Now let’s get to the desert that looked like dried fruitcake. If my vehicle was running I would have took it back and asked for a refund! They never will get my service again! I spent good money too 🤯

My wife and I stopped here for lunch at 3:00pm recently. The place was empty except for one other couple. My wife ordered the Chicken Salad and I ordered the Chicken Sandwich. We waited approximately 25 minutes for our meals to be delivered. During that timeframe our server never came back to the table to apologize for the long wait. My wife's Chicken Salad was fair in taste. My Chicken Sandwich was overcooked. The chicken patty was dry and overcooked. We have no plans to return. There were too many disappointments with this eatery.
