I stopped by hete on my way back from brenham. I had always wanted to visit Chappell Hill factory as well as eat their BBQ. Well, my day came, and I stopped by their bbq spot. The service was great. The atmosphere was not crowded, but still nice. My three met plate of ribs, brisket, and sausages was very nice.. The bakery had an extensive amount of pies and cakes to choose from. I ordered a slice of peach pie, red velvet cake and a slice of yellow cake. All were good.

Good BBQ. This place is busy. Be ready for a little line if you go during lunch. The line moves pretty fast and the staff is nice. I enjoyed the BBQ and will stop here again if I am in the area. They have a full selection of BBQ and the other menu items. The bakery looks awesome. If I was not so full from the BBQ, I would have gotten desert for sure. Maybe next time I will eat desert first or take desert home. 😁

We didn't get any barbecue, and we probably should have. We did get some bulk sausage and some baked goods. The sausage are great and the bulk price is very reasonable. The brownie was a little dry. The rolls, however, were superb. The atmosphere and people were fantastic. I'd happily return to pick up more sausage and baked goods - I'll also definitely try the BBQ since the other food was pretty good.

Great food and service. Quite a variety of choices. My chicken fried chicken was exceptional. Aldo plenty of desserts to choose from.

Amazing , great food, definitely want to stop and come here with empty stomach \nKolaches, bbq, Fish and Chicken a bakery and butcher for take home goodies!

Friendly customer service, great atmosphere and the kolaches and muffins are really good.

Friendly service from beginning to end. I enjoyed the fresh bread. I cannot wait to try more.

The pies in the bakery are delicious and reasonably priced (for these days anyway) You can also pick up Chappell Hill sausages and pickles and such as well.

This was our third visit and the food did not disappoint! You get a lot of food for the price and they have the best buttermilk pie!

I went here for lunch with my coworker on the way back to Houston from Austin. They have a great selection of packaged seasoned meats and sausage as well as jars of pickled items and jams/dips. The prices on those items were very reasonable. I had the two BBQ meats plate with brisket, ribs, twice baked potato and jalapeno bacon Mac and cheese. This cost around 19 dollars and the food was very good. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. The only negatives were that there were a couple of flies buzzing around near the food (not much you can do about that honestly), the men's room wasn't that clean and I saw an employees exit the bathroom without washing his hands.

Food was good. Broccoli could have been better. Staff was friendly. The men's bathroom was not clean. Smelled like a bar. Asked for the $12.95 special but was told that it ended at 4:00. The sign says nothing about that.

So, I was passing through just before lunch. This is important, because I focused on the breakfast style foods that had been out since the morning. The food smelled great. The market and restaurant food looked awesome, but I didn't partake this time. The layout was rustic, but nice. The restroom does need some upkeep, but it was alright. I'll be back. Now, for what I did eat. I had the day-old kolaches and cinnamon rolls. The flavor on the filling was great, but the dough was just above average. The cinnamon rolls on the other hand were awesome! I did try the ham and cheese roll and the jalapeño cheese roll from the morning. Even heated, they were just average. The ham was even dry. I think fresh in the morning that the result would be different. So, I encourage you to give them a chance.

I did order several kinds of cinnamon rolls. With a name  " cinnamon roll" You would have thought you would get an abundance of cinnamon flavor. Today was not the case. Also using a microwave did not enhance the flavor or texture of the roll. Either I got a bad batch or the cinnamon was old or on the shelf too long. Not sure how the ratings are so high. I was passing through stopped here with family to eat. The atmosphere was nice but the food was not up to par. Driest chicken and brisket I ever had. Sausage was good… but the sides? Omg horrible. It was macaroni soup! No thickness to it once so ever nor flavor and potato salad sucked. Won’t be stopping again when I pass through.

This time, someone could not count after buying a bakers dozen sausage pigs in a blanket(kolaches),. I got home with 11 in my box. Make sure you count them. This is like the 100th time to buy these! Come through there frequently. Double check your order!!!

Very disappointed. We placed our order at 9:17am. We saw other customers receiving their orders that came after us. So by 9:50am we asked about our order which seemed to have not been given to the kitchen. My husband decided we should just cancel our order because we had waited so long. When we asked the cashier to refund our order she nor her coworker knew how to do the process... Then my husband saw they finally bringing our order so we decided to just stay and eat since the cashier couldn't refund our order. We should had just left the food wasn't the best. We were so excited to stop and eat here but turned out to be a bad experience.

I love their chocolate meringue pie. Bought a full pie and brought it home 1:30 away and this is what I get. Less than an inch of filling. I have them another chance... BIG MISTAKE!.. Chopped beef sandwich had a bone in it over an inch long!🤮 At least the pie was better today!

The brisket had way too much fat on it. The wild rice had bits of crunch to it and was bland. The green beans were way too wet and soggy. The barbecue sauce was way too ketchupy and sweet as well. We also said no drinks but the cashier rung us up with two drinks anyway. Waste of $40 for 2 people. But what do you expect from a steam table with food that was probably made the day before. Just overall mediocre barbecue.
