Discovered at the beginning of the year, during Veganuary and visited already 3 times in the last month, Bistrot Popolare is a surprising vegan restaurant near the center of Brescia! I found all the cicchetti really good and I think the weekly variability of the menu is a great idea! A pleasant discovery even for those who do not follow a vegan diet thinking that it is not very satisfying!!! Must try!

I had lunch here with a friend: great prices, delicious food, and most importantly, generous portions! We had the three-course menu for €11, and it was all amazing. The seitan with white wine and onions was fabulous!

Very varied menu. You can find traditional, vegetarian and even vegan cuisine; in any case, you can eat well and lighten your lunch breaks, especially if you need to manage your afternoon work schedule. Very good service. We arrived in large numbers (9) without a reservation, but they immediately found a solution by moving tables and chairs. Water was served immediately (not a given) and the wait between ordering and the dishes was short. The bill was reasonable and the quality was good. It could be a point of reference for lunch breaks. I will return.

The location is cute and informal, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and well-organized. The portions are just right. You can choose from individual dishes, a plate of pasta, or a trio. The prices are affordable and in line with the quality of the ingredients. Recommended for a very informal lunch or dinner with friends. Lately, the restaurant has raised the bar. The dishes are much more sophisticated and unique. Truly delicious. They also have many vegan options!

When we arrived, two dishes were unavailable. Eating the caserecce was difficult: they were bitter and sour from the lemon (which I wouldn't have put on the pasta). The "onion soup" was nothing more than a half-baked bread roll, with the crumb removed and "filled with soup." Clearly, not even half a spoonful could fit in it. The soup was overpriced: €16.
