Warm welcome, three out of three people at the bar, they greeted us three times. They immediately noticed us and reassured us that they would be back soon, and so they did, with a friendliness appropriate to the relationship with customers... the food was truly wow, I mean, I was delighted by these unusual, impactful and delicate flavors. You absolutely have to try it if you pass by.
My favorite restaurant/social support network. We tried all the cicchetti—I especially remember the spectacular farinata and tempeh ragù—and they were all more delicious and original than the last. The onion soup was the bomb. I've never had such a good soup, and I'm not exaggerating. The desserts were also wonderful. You eat like in a fine Michelin-starred restaurant, with the most flavorful and characterful vegan and vegetarian dishes you've ever tried; with the added bonus of a laid-back yet refined atmosphere and decidedly low prices for the quality of the food. Plus, the portions are generous. Thank you, Chef Valerio, for an experience I'll repeat as often as possible from now on.
Very friendly and fast service. It was my first time there, and what surprised and appreciated me was their garden market in the courtyard of the bistro. I took advantage of it, and the vegetables were very good.
One of my favorite places in Brescia, with a mostly vegan menu and plenty of gluten-free options. But don't expect plain salads or pasta with tomato sauce—quite the opposite! There are always options like hummus, homemade veggie burgers, seitan, tempeh, tofu, and more, which vary depending on the menu. I love going there with friends to share cicchetti and try a little bit of everything. The portions are absolutely satisfying, the staff is always friendly, and the service is reasonably quick (but not overwhelming). Highly recommended!
I love this place! I love going there whenever I can. Excellent food, tasty dishes, and a varied menu. They usually have a vegetarian day on Wednesdays!
A simple, authentic place, accessible to everyone. It's wonderful to see how so many different people come together at this popular bistro. It's more than just a restaurant. The food is as good as home cooking. I've been there several times and will definitely return.

Nice place on the outskirts of town. Very large indoor dining room and plenty of outdoor tables. Non-benefit association. Food is mostly vegan...very good. Lunch has a fixed-price menu based on the courses. Desserts are very good. It's a shame they only serve water at lunch, not wine. Very friendly, helpful, and fast staff. Highly recommended.
Discovered at the beginning of the year, during Veganuary and visited already 3 times in the last month, Bistrot Popolare is a surprising vegan restaurant near the center of Brescia! I found all the cicchetti really good and I think the weekly variability of the menu is a great idea! A pleasant discovery even for those who do not follow a vegan diet thinking that it is not very satisfying!!! Must try!
I had lunch here with a friend: great prices, delicious food, and most importantly, generous portions! We had the three-course menu for €11, and it was all amazing. The seitan with white wine and onions was fabulous!
A perfect homey restaurant with a changing daily menu. There were also a lot of vegetarian options 🙂 Both the food and the cakes were great!

Very varied menu. You can find traditional, vegetarian and even vegan cuisine; in any case, you can eat well and lighten your lunch breaks, especially if you need to manage your afternoon work schedule. Very good service. We arrived in large numbers (9) without a reservation, but they immediately found a solution by moving tables and chairs. Water was served immediately (not a given) and the wait between ordering and the dishes was short. The bill was reasonable and the quality was good. It could be a point of reference for lunch breaks. I will return.
The location is cute and informal, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and well-organized. The portions are just right. You can choose from individual dishes, a plate of pasta, or a trio. The prices are affordable and in line with the quality of the ingredients. Recommended for a very informal lunch or dinner with friends. Lately, the restaurant has raised the bar. The dishes are much more sophisticated and unique. Truly delicious. They also have many vegan options!

When we arrived, two dishes were unavailable. Eating the caserecce was difficult: they were bitter and sour from the lemon (which I wouldn't have put on the pasta). The "onion soup" was nothing more than a half-baked bread roll, with the crumb removed and "filled with soup." Clearly, not even half a spoonful could fit in it. The soup was overpriced: €16.
