Delicious chicken chettinad and navratan korma. 10/10 Rice was included, a nice surprise! Server is a bit unexperienced yet friendly, so it did not affect negatively our experience. Music was just the right volume (quiet), so it's a relaxing ambiance. We recommand it to anyone who love indian food and enjoy a great time.
Heard great things about Jaipore Xpress Briarcliff so gave this place a try. I wasn’t disappointed at all. My lunch takeout order was Butter chicken, Saag paneer and Garlic naan. Their lunch specials come with main dish, dal, basmati rice and naan. Saag paneer did hit the spot! Pics in my review show they also have a nice ambience if you wanted to sit down and eat. Over all my experience was one to remember. I will definitely be ordering more often.
Quite delectable! Warm atmosphere with very friendly and thoughtful service. The lunch special is definitely a good deal. Best naan I've ever had in my life, good portions, and several great vegetarian and vegan options. I was also introduced to achar, the pickled vegetable dish that I think will cure anything for the next 6 months! Good food and vibes all around.
I love Jaipore Xpress for its good food, lovely staff and calm surroundings. My favorite snack is Iddly, presented on the menu under Starters, which I have not seen offered in any other Indian restaurant in the county. I love the coconut chutney served with it. The chai is great too!
I went here for some dinner last night with my husband since we were visiting sleepy hollow. It was the best thing I ever ate. As an Indian I would def say that you should try this place out if you’re visiting sleepy hollow for some dinner. The gentleman that served us and cleaned the table for us was very sweet. Will def return for more delicious good food❤️
This is the best Indian food I ever had. I normally do not like it, but the butter chicken is to die for and the samosa with there homage green mint sauce is so fresh and delicious! Highly recommend trying it. Roshan is a gentleman too who operates and serves you. Hope you give it a shot!!
While looking at houses our family came across this fantastic restaurant. The staff were welcoming and super attentive. The top notch flavors and freshness of the food is putting it lightly. If you live in the area or just driving thru this is a must stop.
Such a great find! We were leaf peeping and looked for Indian food since it was Diwali and this place did not disappoint.. Staff is accommodating.. and food was good.. we tried Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo.. their garlic Naan is definitely recommended as well! would definitely come back! (we were so excited to try the food and forgot to take pictures before eating 🤣🤣🤣)
We visited Croton Gorge Park, and on our way back, we stopped here for dinner. The environment was very welcoming, and the employees were kind and friendly. We ordered Paapdi Chat, Gobi Manchurian, and Chilli Paneer. While the Paapdi Chat was delicious with well-marinated chickpeas and soft papdi, and the Gobi Manchurian was nicely cooked and marinated, we were a little disappointed with the Chilli Paneer. It tasted mostly like tomato puree with green vegetables and was slightly undercooked; it could have been better with proper marination. We also ordered dosa twice. The first time it was a bit soggy, but after we mentioned it, they improved it, and the second round was excellent. The sambar and chutney were mind-blowing and reminded us of authentic Indian flavors. Despite the place being busy and understaffed, the employees were patient and kind. For entrees, we ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhani, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, Plain Naan, and Mango Lassi. Everything in the entree was different from other restaurants and deserves an A. Let my videos and pictures do the talking. Follow me or message me for more insights and details about the spices used. The quantity for the entrees was worth the price, and there were no disappointments there. However, the dosa price was a bit high for the quantity, but it can improve. Extra star was Interior and Kitchen cleanness, We all enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back here again.
Outstanding food and service make this an absolute favorite for Indian food. The staff here are kind, keeping our water refilled, giving us great recommendations, and boxing our food for us. The cheese naan was surprisingly delicious, sort of like a pizza. I highly recommend the navratan korma which was creamy and flavorful with paneer and spices. They give extra white rice if you want it and the biryani here comes steaming hot in a clay pot, covered in bread and baked. We asked for medium spice and it was perfect— spicy but not too much for me as a non indian person. They gave lots or yogurt sauce with it which I appreciate especially compared to other Indian restaurants. They also gave us free rice pudding and extra white rice when boxing everything up for us. Super nice people and fantastic experience overall!
Don’t write this one off! Small place but BIG TASTE AND FLAVOR! We started with lasooni gobi (garlicky sauteed cauliflower)and Imli baingan(fried eggplant with tamarind sauce)…yummy! I wanted spicy and the chicken vindaloo did not fail! Naan was on point! The mango lassi BEWARE! There are 2 servings in the bottle, yes bottle, and iT IS DELICIOUS ! So good we got some to go! The staff were attentive and super nice. Worth the 20 minute drive for us…jaipore xpress we will be back! Oh oh …the lamb chops get them!!!
Amazing outstanding Indian food. Great South Indian, North Indian and Indian Chinese food. The chef and staff are really friendly, efficient and attentive. We had a masala dosa appetiser, lamb madras and saag paneer which were all delicious. Just like home made. Not too much oil or spices. Complimentary rice pudding (kheer) at the end was icing on the cake. Great value too! Must visit and enjoy.
Was passing through and randomly decided to stop in for dinner. Super happy I did! Such a nice atmosphere, service was quick and friendly. The food was probably some of the best Indian food I've had in a long long time. Highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try! I had some of the best Tiki Masala EVER and the garlic Naan was fantastic! Big portions too! Will definitely be returning.
Amazing hidden gem in Briar cliff manor ,Westchester NY! The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The portions generous and filling and my tastebuds were fully satisfied! As a person with nuts, dairy and gluten allergies, I was pleasantly surprised at the choices offered. The service was excellent and we felt quite at home! The dessert options were perfect and I recommend you try them all! Kudus to the staff and a special shoutout to the chefs especially Chef Philip Mathew!
Love this new addition to Briarcliff Manor. Very pretty Indian restaurant with incredible food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu! My Aloo Gobi (5th photo) was a generous helping of delicious vegetables. My husband’s Chicken Tikka Masala (4th photo) was “out of this world” to quote him. The Pakora in the 2nd photo was big enough to share as an appetizer and was honestly the best Pakora I’ve ever had. To put this in context - I’m from England where we really know our Indian food! The 7th photo was the Lentil Soup, again very delicious and the final photo is the rice pudding that tasted like ambrosia from heaven. Photo 3 is the Naan bread which was crispy rather than soft. Run, don’t walk to this gem right in the heart of Briarcliff.
Absolutely love this place! If you want real Indian food this is the spot. My family and I enjoy every bite! It’s so clean and their wall decor is absolutely stunning. I’m vegetarian and I highly recommend these dishes: saag paneer (spinach purée with cheese), Chana masala (chick peas) lassoni gobi and their naan bread 👌🏽 Their mango lassi is homemade and it’s so refreshing 🤤
Nice spot for Indian food. I’ve ordered takeout twice, and both times the food was prepared well and tasted great. As expected with Indian cuisine, there are plenty of good vegetarian options. Overall, a reliable place I’ll definitely be returning.
As a white man in his 40s... I can't judge what people from India would say, but what I have to say is: Wow! Just wow!! Great flavor. Big plates. Fair price. Friendly staff. I would come everyday if it weren't that I live in Canada and this is in USA.
Visited Jaipore Express in Briarcliff Manor, Westchester County, NY for the third time in less than six months. The tandoori lamb chops, pakora, and jumbo shrimp mango curry were excellent as were the plain naan and raita. I recommend this casual restaurant for its delicious food, good service, and modern ambience.
While quaint, the food was OK. Nothing great about it. The samosa chaat was good. Gobi manchurian was not that great. The naans were not crispy. The fried rice was terrible. Paneer butter masala was quite ok. Dessert was terrible and overly sweet. They served a rice pudding on the house and that had a strand of hair in it. No alcohol served. Will not be returning.
