We had an excellent server, Drew. We enjoyed a water view during our experience. Our meal was absolutely excellent, lobster bisque was perfect in taste though could have been warmer but it was so good I didn't care much, husband loved the King G salad, fresh baked bread, I had the best pork chop and chutney in my life, husband loved his meat loaf. The owner came over to us and checked on us and offered complimentary dessert for our anniversary and we chose the delicious chocolate cake to share. The entire experience was exceptional. We'll be back and we're telling friends.

Phenomenal restaurant all around! Location, quality of food, atmosphere, and service are all top notch. Outside seating is most definitely recommended (weather permitting). My fiancée and I both ordered the chicken parm and it was delicious, and hearty. I’ve been here a few times and very consistent all around the board. Also, the owner circled around and acknowledged each table and made sure everything was up to par. Small gestures like that are warming and ensuring.

The waitstaff and bartenders are very attentive. Delicious food, great drinks. I had the Crab stuffed Bacon wrapped shrimp, very tasty . Also the Fish Sandwich, a Great twist on Cod , Parmesan fried coating. Our meal was delicious. Mojito for me and a Blanton Bourbon for my husband.

My wife and I went here for our 17th Anniversary. Got there a little early so went to bar 1st. Drinks were awesome and the selection of bourbon was great. Our table was ready before we even got our drinks, but were allowed to sit and relax. We soaked up a little bar atmosphere before going to the dinning room which overlooked the river. The staff was great and accommodating. One of the owners even stopped by to talk to us for a bit. The food was perfect and well priced. All in all a great bar/inn/ restaurant that's easy to get to and has a history. Will definitely go here again.

Our recent visit to King George Inn provided a delightful evening, characterized by an exceptional dining experience and the historic ambiance of the inn. Dulcet tunes drew our attention to the pianist in the adjacent room. We were comfortably seated at a window table, offering a picturesque view of the frozen Delaware River, and were particularly impressed by the unexpected warmth and coziness of our surroundings. The cuisine was expertly prepared and remarkably fresh. We also enjoyed a seasonal mocktail and concluded our evening with a shared crème brûlée, culminating in one of the most memorable outings in recent memory.

We recently hosted our daughter’s Bridal Shower at King George Inn ll, Bristol PA. The service was truly exceptional. Michelle, Christina Lugo ,Melissa and Drew were attentive without being intrusive, and their warm, professional demeanor helped create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. They handled every detail with care, which allowed us to focus on celebrating our daughter and enjoying the moment. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure everything ran smoothly. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with incredibly delicious food and a five-star service for a special event, I wholeheartedly recommend the King George Inn ll, Bristol Pa. Thank you for helping us create such a memorable day—we’ll absolutely be back!

This was one of the best meals I have had. The salmon was crisp and delicious and cooked perfectly. The wings were the best we ever had. The s’mores brownie was to die for and a must have. The server was on top of everything and so friendly. The food was out quick and cleaned up promptly. I would definitely recommend!!

Enjoyed eating outside overlooking the park and river in Bristol. Delicious Kobe burger, lobster bisque, fries and dessert. Courteous and friendly staff.

Stopped by King George on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was served by Charlie, he is the best serve ever. It was our first time there and the co owner stopped by to check in which was also nice. The service here is incredible. Charlie knew what we needed before we could ask. I would revisit king George again and again. The food was also good. The calamari - delicious. The Kobe burger was perfect and the chicken club sandwich was really good as well. We had a great experience at King George - 10/10

Just was here on 9/14/24 for the first time and it was delicious! Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was great! Loved sitting outside on a beautiful day and looking at the nice views was awesome! The shrimp wrapped in bacon with the dipping sauce was amazing! The prime rib was exactly how I like it and the fish was perfect also! Definitely will be returning! Great menu of delicious choices! Drinks were delicious too! Our waiter was great! Highly recommend trying this place! :)

The food was phenomenal. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the delicious steak and potatoes I enjoyed there 2 days ago. The service was beyond excellent. I truly had no complaints! Its right on the water (Delaware River) which just enhanced an already amazing experience. I starting eating so quickly that didnt get a pic of my steak but it was outstanding! Cooked perfectly. I highly highly recommend this place. And you can check my reviews…I don’t do that often! Make the reservation!

Great restaurant with a view of the river. Plenty of rooms for an intimate dinner, small groups or large groups. The outdoors seating is great during warm weather. Had dinner on the 2nd floor with a view of the river. Appetizers were perfect. Had the shrimp wrapped with bacon. The cheese bread is a must! Surf & turf as well as the prime rib, delicious. Servers were very attentive. Even the co-owner Bruce stopped by to say hello. Have been here before and will definitely be back with more friends.

A charming historic building located directly on the Delaware. I have visited King George Inn dozens of times and the food is delicious, service is great, and the drinks are strong. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Okay this place has such history and you can feel it when you walk in. The food is fantastic and tastes great every time we come here ( its our most frequented spot) as we love to bring our dog in the summertime cause they allow well behaved pups to sit and eat here bit only outside, this place has a great view of the Delaware river an added bonus to an awesome place already. Crab dip is my favourite appetizer but they are all really good. The main meals are fantastic as well also recently have some new additions to the menu i have had some of them they are very tasty as well. The staff are hard working and the owners care a lot about them and guests you’ll find them greeting people from time to time and always have a smile. Enjoy!

Food and service is always good. Great view of the Delaware River as you feel the history of Bristol. The drink menu is always updated to reflect the season. I have not been disappointed with any meal or drink choices. For inside dining I enjoy the historic bar area having the all wood bar as it serves modern allagash white. If the season is right, outdoor dinner is the clear choice to experience food and views.

We went there the same time there was the Bristol Doo-wop concert. Very busy that night and still got seated immediately and had an excellent waitress named Christina who constantly checked to make sure we were happy! Always with a smile and always ready to take care of our table and all the others she had. Of course the food is always number one and it was excellent. This is the second time we ate there recently and everything that we've had is really good the portions are large and the prices are good. I talked to someone who said that they tried it a few years back and it wasn't too good, well they have the original owner back and he has brought it back to a Top Notch restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the river. Go, you will not be sorry!

The outdoor seating is beautiful, with views of the river and Bristol Lions Park. Our server was attentive and helpful. I got the lobster and shrimp BLT sandwich with homemade chips. It tasted as good as it sounds! The sandwich was PACKED full of fresh lobster and shrimp, and the chips were served warm (most likely made to order). After dinner we enjoyed cheesecake and drinks while soaking in the beautiful weather and wonderful atmosphere. What a great place to eat, with delicious food and good service! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for here no doubt. Highly recommended!

A lovely historic restaurant with wonderful views of the Delaware River. This was my first visit here and I was greatly impressed. There is antique furniture dotted about the rooms. The bar area is warm and inviting with a baby grand piano that is actually played by a very good pianist at dinner times. Being here on a Saturday night, I couldn't say if he plays every night. I tried the lobster bisque and it was luscious creamy and sweet with a sprinkling of fresh lobster meat on top. The King George Beer Can Chicken was moist and savory. I ordered a cosmopolitan. It was perfectly mixed for my taste. Highly reccomend a visit here.

Really great spot in downtown Bristol. The service was very good, food tasty and a beautiful day to sit on the patio. Our server Aseem was very good and friendly.

The King George Inn is my favorite place to not only eat and drink, but to also experience a real colonial atmosphere. The gruyere cheese burger is the best I have ever had. The dark wood of the back bar are original circa 1600's. The staff our amazing, charlie the waiter is one of my favorites.

Took the boat over here today for lunch. Had absolutely amazing service with a smile. By far the best French Dip I've ever tasted. The fries were also yummy. My love had the chicken salad samdwhich at the recommendation from our awesome server Drew. We will most definitely be back again.

I had the distinct honor & pleasure of performing with the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band "The Caribbean Chillers" the last week of July at the Riverside Theater in Historic downtown Bristol. My group had a least one meal there almost everyday we were in town once we found out what a fantastic place it is. As a history buff, I was totally enamored with the place and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, atmosphere and historic plaques and photos. My favorites were the Lobster Bisque and the Tavern Burger. The management and staff were top pros. Special thanks to Lorraine, our wonderful first server, who ensured we would be back! Oh, did I mention THE VIEW??

This is our 3rd Thanksgiving at King George. We love it. The Thanksgiving meal is great. The turkey is the moist! Its a really nice time. The other items on menu are so good as well. There food is exceptional. Ceasar salad was great. My sister loved the pork chop and my aunt loved the salmon dish. Its a win every year! The apps are great as well. We have tried almost them all. They also have a kids menu as well!

I celebrated my birthday at King George Inn, what a wonderful experience. I've come to this location several times, never disappointed. The staff is personable, especially my waiter Bradley. I asked for him whenever I dine at King George. I met Anthony on my recent visit. The two of them together made my birthday dinner wonderful.

Such a wonderful dining experience! We had brunch and the food was delicious and plentiful! Bruce one of the owners stopped by to welcome us and make sure we enjoyed our visit. Evan our waiter was absolutely perfect! He could not do enough for us. The other staff members also stopped by to ensure we were enjoying our visit. This was our first time there but will certainly not be our last! What a wonderful gem in Bristol! Thank you all!

Our first time here- met military friends that we haven’t seen in 30 years. Food was excellent- guys had Prime rib, Cooked to order and minimal fat.Ladies had seafood dishes that they both enjoyed. Dessert was excellent too Crème Brûlée Cheesecake and Key Lime pie. Co- owner stopped by and checked on us and our meal. Wait staff was attentive. We had a table overlooking the Delaware River, it was nighttime- during the day it would have been an excellent view. A ton of history in the building which added to an enjoyable evening. Reservations were easy to make on-line, glad we did as it was busy weekend night. We will be back!

Thank you to Bruce and his amazing staff. We had the best Thanksgiving at the Inn. We had the Turkey Dinner, Ossobuco and Salmon as main entree. The warm crab dip with soft pretzels was the best we’ve ever had!!!! The lobster bisque is out of this world delicious!!! We had a comfortable table by the window with a view of the river. Everyone needs to go !!! Now!! To Christie our server thank you for your kindness and top tier service. We will be back. We came all the way from Texas and it was well worth the trip.

We love the King George Inn. Yes the food is hearty and delicious. And yes it’s super cool that it was established in the 1600s. But it’s the staff that makes it such a wonderful night out. Everyone, from the folks at the host stand, to the servers (shoutouts to Evan and Melissa), to Bruce the owner, make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The level of service and hospitality - is just exceptional. 🩷

My family always has a wonderful experience at King George Inn! The food is consistently delicious, and the location offers a great view of the riverfront. The service is always top-notch. A very special shoutout goes to Sam who manages the host stand. He goes above and beyond in accommodating guests, being incredibly kind, and making everyone feel welcomed, especially by remembering guests from their previous visits and greeting them by name. Would definitely recommend King George Inn for a fantastic night out!

An incredible, hidden gem! The building itself is so beautiful and historic, plus you get an additional gorgeous view of the riverfront. The food was INCREDIBLE - everything was top notch. And the service... wow. Lauren knew what we needed before we did. We already made plans to go back!

The King George Inn never fails. We have been there many times for family birthdays, holidays and just nice lunches. While the food and service have always been top notch, one of the owners always makes it a point to visit each table and chat with the guests. You can tell they truly care about each guest and want to ensure they have a good experience. I highly recommend the King George Inn and I am grateful they have weathered all the many storms over the years. They are one of my favorite go-to nice restaurants.

One of the most amazing experiences for a restaurant. Perfection from start to finish. Service from Lauren and Drew was great- the teamwork and enjoyment of their job is very apparent. The food is amazing!!!- get the crab dip!!!! Bruce, the co-owner, stopped over. Friendly and genuine! The vibes are great and the historic charm is something you do not want to miss!

First time there. Just my wife and me. Owner stopped by to greet us and chat. We sat outside; really nice. The lobster bisque is excellent and so were the crab cakes. Not cheap, but good food and atmosphere. I'll go back. A lot of other things on the menu looked good. Oh, a warning: the appetizer of half a sour dough loaf was really good and cheesy, but that half loaf is enough for 4 people.

Just had the most amazing dinner experience. King George was an all around dining experience. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Atmosphere included a beautiful view of the river with people strolling along the banks with family and friends. Our drinks were perfect along with the superb mushroom soup. We ordered the Tuna Frites which was so incredibly mouthwatering delicious and it came with Asian Street fries that were to die for. I also ordered the Prime Rib which came out too well done. I mentioned this to the server and immediately the manager replaced my meal with a beautifully rare Prime Rib which was so delicious! The topping of the evening was when the owner approached our table (as he did all the tables) introduced himself and asked how our dinner was. An awesome reminder of there are people who really care how their customers feel. It’s a rarity to find a restaurant that deserves high praise for the whole experience. King George ll Inn earned its high rating and well deserved review. So looking forward to returning to this restaurant.

Overall decent experience. Some things were a hit, others not as much, but overall a decent place. I think in general, the food was pretty good, but I think some of the food was a little on the basic side. The crab cakes were delicious. The stuffed pepper was good, although I felt like it was a little simple, like I could have made it. The lobster soup was decent, but I think was lacking flavor. And the crab dip was delicious. The appetizers were very good, however I thought the desserts weren't that great.

Awesome outdoor seating right near the dock. Super comfy. Service was outstanding. House salad and dressing was delicious. Desserts were on point. Only issue was the pasta with the parm was mushy. Def will return 9/10

The pork 🐷 chop omg ! So tender and moist. Really nice dish with Brussels that weren't overly crisp or overly seasoned for a change, so that was good, and also the butternut squash mash , all so delicious and balanced. Creme brulee cheesecake very tasty. The house salad really nice , love the dressing. General restaurant rant : My one complaint is the charging for bread. Restaurants today are now eliminating salads and sides that used to come with an entree, BREAD !!?? or dinner rolls ? Seriously?. And then upcharges for using a credit card. It's just all so disheartening 💔. I've decided to be more discriminating about where I spend my restaurant dollars bc the last several months have been mediocre at best at many establishments I've been. So I have to say that today , esp after reading some of the KGII reviews , I was pleasantly surprised at how good my entree was.

We enjoyed soup salad and chicken parm. The lows salad with fresh strawberry and candy walnut was very delicious as was the BLT wedge salad. Lobster soup was delicious little extra Lobster on top was a nice touch. The chicken parm had good flavor it would have been better if the chicken Breast was pounded down and not as thick. The bread with cheese was enough for the whole table, large sour dough bread with cheese and herbs. Service was quick and attentive. She was very sweet and thoughtful I think her name was Magnus.

Not Bad …Not bad at all. King George II Inn has mastered the underpinnings for a great experience and a great evening out. For me it’s … Food, Atmosphere & Service. Someone here (@KGIII) is paying attention and trying to do just that… provide Good Service, Good Food and a Great Atmosphere. Suggestion… Underwrite the cost for the outdoor music. Own it..

It was our 21st anniversary and we decided to try King George in Bristol for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was and the service was great. Our waitress Moe, was very attentive and upbeat. After finding out it was our anniversary her already delightful disposition went up 10 notches. We were also given a desert on Moe to celebrate. By the way, if the churro cheesecake is on the menu… order it!

Very nice outdoor patio overlooking the river. Great service. However. I have shellfish allergy and everything that uses a fryer also fries seafood. I was very disappointed that I could not have most items on the menu. Thank goodness our server checked for us.

We have been here several times over the year's and feel the quality over time has dropped. Service was below average noting the waiter had to manage 5-6 tables with little to no assistance. Staggered seating could've helped disperse the customers so he didn't have to get drinks for three tables at one time. We were seated at a table with an annoyingly bright flashing light bulb that was eventually removed. Disco party aside, the food was decent, noting the green beans and how well they were cooked. Plenty of spots to check in the borough before we head back to the KG.

My handicapped partner & I lunched @ King George Inn during the 2024 Memorial Day weekend & it was a disappointment. My appetizer, bacon wrapped shrimp, was tough. The $25 crab cake sandwich was generously portioned but the top 20% was real lump crab & 80% was shredded crab & filler. The window tables received preferential seating. Although we asked for such a table (which were available) we were declined since the tables were allegedly for 4 people. However, during our meal 2 couples were seated @ 2 window tables!! The handicapped water closet was very narrow & too tiny for use with a wheelchair. The door had no handle on it. The bill was suspicious because a detailed meal bill was $71.77 but the credit card receipt showed $73.81. Was the difference of $2.04 a hidden fee? Although the difference is minor ($2.04), I hate hidden fees!! Will we go back? TBD.

Got there at 4:30 on Black Friday and was asked by the hostess if we had reservations I told her we did not. The restaurant was pretty empty and she proceeded to tell us they were booked and the only thing available was the bar. While I’m staring at 4 empty tables. 3 employees weee putting up a Christmas tree in the entrance so it wasn’t lack of staff. I asked again if the bar was the only option and she said “yes “. We left and will not be back ever again.
