2nd time visiting this coffee shop. It was just as good as the first time thru. I got a ham n cheddar breakfast sandwich and had it heated up. loved it! The mocha was excellent, and the mini-cinni was too basic for my sweet tooth. Still good, I'll get something else next time. The fireplace was an unexpected surprise and a pleasant experience.
This place has really good coffee and pastries! I've tried their chocolate croissant and lemon loaf. My favorite coffee is their dark roast 😋
Thank you! 😊 “Blackhorse Espresso and Bakery" My family have been walking through the doors of this coffee store where we can experience the aroma of Coffee that takes you to all the process that brings the joy of having a cups of coffee, between our hands, served by the incredible team, Barista! This place has a fantastic selection of pastries, sandwiches, combined with art. You can be setting outside sharing a Fire place that warm inside and outside.
Yummy breakfast items, bakery and coffee. There was a line but it moved in a reasonable pace. The food was good and the double vanilla latte was sorely needed.

Awesome coffee, Awesome staff. Atmosphere is top notch. I love to sit inside and drink my coffee and work on my laptop for hours on end. I'm practically in there every day 😆
Such a great location to meet friends, Business Partners or just to grab a coffee before you go to your hair or nail or eyelash appointment; which is in the same shopping center
So cute! Pretty good prices for central Cal and great service. Whoever was on aux absolutely should always be in charge of it. Barista brought my food outside to me while I was waiting which was so kind. Burrito was fantastic, I do not eat egg but I forgot to ask for no egg in the burrito but it was honestly so good I didn’t realize for awhile and was surprised how well prepared it was. Shared with my brother who was more impressed than I was. Whole family got something good.
A great place to share excellent coffee and conversation with a friend. Love the outdoor tables. Inside tables are comfy. Coffee is delicious. My visit was later in the day so the selection of pastries was a little bit sparse, but the chocolate croissant was the size of my head and wonderful.
WoW! I went in for a Decaf drip coffee and walked away with THE BEST Decaf Gingerbread Espresso drink I've ever had. Luckily, I was in the mood to treat myself. The barista crafted a perfectly balanced, creamy and sweet treat for me. Thank you, I'll be back!
Went here around 10:30 for a coffee pick me up. As soon as I walked in the first thing I noticed was how busy they were. Most places whenever that busy give bad costumer service. However , that was not the case with this place. Yasmin was extremely helpful with beverage recommendations and greeted everyone with a smile. The entire staff did a really good job getting orders out and not seeming overwhelmed. The coffee was delicious but that is not what stood out to me. Thank you guys for making my day a little bit better.

Everything is so delicious and the coffee is so good every time I've gone and the customer service is wonderful and friendly

First time trying on way back from dentist. The coffee was really good. I had a vanilla honey cinnamon latte. It was only $5.70. Great price for delicious coffee. I will go back
Needed a place to work for a few hours so I dropped into the Blackhorse Coffee shop on Broad St - Great coffee, yummy muffins and super service. Their Wi-fi was fast and easy to access and the overall atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!
I had only the bear claw, and it was above average. The selection of baked goods was very limited—acceptable for a café, but much less than you would expect from a place that advertises itself as a bakery. Therefore, four stars.
Stopped for a coffee for the long drive home. Tasty, on the pricier side. Not a great selection of baked goods. Maybe cause it was Sunday.
Great coffee, could use more practice in latte art. Nice space, indoor and outdoor seating. Parking ample. Bakery items plus paninis and other food items. Blackberry muffin was amazing, really enjoyed. Lots of special flavored drink if you like those. Great choice if you aren't a fan of the larger coffee chains.
The staff were nice, the tea was great, and the Blueberry Lemon Poppy seed muffin was amazing! Will definitely stop in again!

PROS: + Warm, friendly, inviting and lively. There is even a fireplace! + Young, but super efficient staff. They put in WORK! + Good lighting and lots of windows + Fun, local artwork that you can purchase + Good offerings of caffeinated beverages and a nice spread of pastries + Good seating (if available). It's POPPIN' here! + Lots of outlets for charging devices + Good location with eateries and shops around. CONS: - The free wifi sucks. It's awful and frustrating - an absolute NIGHTMARE. Impossible to get work done without getting timed out and kicked off the internet. - A semi-decent place for working (if you don't need wifi), but can be loud. Bring headphones unless you want to listen in on lots of conversations happening around you - Breakfast panini is on the small side for the price compared to other places I've been to. Honestly, if the wifi situation here was better and more reliable, this place would be amazing. For someone like myself who telecommutes, a coffee shop with solid wifi is GOLD. Unfortunately, I can't come back here as frequently as I'd like because I wouldn't be able to get any work done.

The Breakfast burrito was dry and tasted like it only had sausages and hash browns. Would not recommend. I liked the atmosphere, but not a lot of outlets for plugging in laptops. The service was decently good. Food was expensive overall...
Coffee is just ok (I drink plain caps or lattes). Rich coffee flavor and velvety milk texture I'm looking for just aren't there. Gets the job done, but isn't a delight to drink. Service is always polite and friendly. The shop itself feels outdated, unkempt, and not very inviting. It's a small space, but the space could be better utilized to fit a couple more small tables and chairs. Overall I just don't feel excited to go here.

this place is normally highly recommended, but I went in and didn’t have a very good experience. My drink was over 50% foam. I wouldn’t mind some foam normally but when you’re spending $6 for a drink I do like having more then a shots worth of liquid in my 20 oz cup… The drink itself was delicious, there just was barely any of it. Also got a breakfast panini. It was pretty bland and the tomato overpowered everything in it. The tomato, enough said. Anyways, I’m sure I just came in on an off day but a place this established and highly rated shouldn’t have this much of an off day. Also, the music was loud enough I couldn’t hear the staff very well when ordering, they might also just not talk loud or clearly enough. Lastly, the staff were singing along to every single song quite loudly. It was a little obnoxious and very annoying. So for future customers, ask for NO foam and be picky on what food you order. Besides that you can’t go wrong with their drinks, the flavours are there you just have to take steps to not get gypped.
There are several empty tables outside with no chairs. We could not sit so we left without ordering coffee. It seems there are less and less chairs each time we come.
Stopped by because it is close to where I live and It was not busy at all. A lady in front of me ordered a coffee and a pastry. They asked to warm it for her, super nice. When it came my time to order I also ordered coffee and pastry and the young woman in the bakery grabbed the cinnamon roll and slapped it on the counter. Not sure why I received a different level of service. I asked if they could warm it up please and the bakery girl gave me a cold look and completely ignored me while the one taking my order was kind. Coffee and sweets were good but my family and I won’t be revisiting. I always try to be extra nice to service workers, I can only think of one reason I’d receive a different treatment less than 30 seconds after someone else who maybe looked a little different than me.

I understand that iced coffee is typically coffee brewed beforehand, chilled and iced. Not at BlackHorse! At least when I went, my “iced coffee” was hot coffee poured over ice. The guy dumped out some of the coffee-water mixture and put more hot coffee in the cup. For $3.50 I got a cup of watery, lukewarm coffee. Not sure if this is general practice at BlackHorse or if it was this fellas first day on the job. Genuinely felt like I got scammed. I do not write very many reviews but the people gotta hear about this.
