Comfortable as both a morning coffee shop and an evening bar, while giving the option to be both at any time. If you want to hide in the corner and read a book or meet new folks in the thick of it, they’ve got you covered. Food and drink are uncomplicated in the good way. It took two days for this place to become my #1 local spot.

One of the things with dining out in nyc is the inconsistency of the fare: depending on who’s in the back of the house, the food could be amazing, mediocre, or worse. This has never been the case at Skytown, it is consistent and it is consistently GOOD. After we hadn’t been in a while, my wife and I stopped in to grab a bite and a booze. We forgot just how amazing the tacos are, and sampled the beef stew which was equally amazing. Although they are Americanized, not traditional style tacos, they are definitely my favorite meal in New York. The service is also amazingly consistent, never bad and certainly never mediocre.

This place has amazing food AND drinks. The manager Nick is also a wonderful host and really makes you feel at home in the space. It very cozy while maintaining a sophisticated vibe. The cocktails are refreshing and often wonderful twists on the classics. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to go out in the area.

Stumbled into this place while walking down Broadway and immediately felt welcomed and that I had made the right choice. Bartender Joe was attentive and personable, the beef stew was delicious, the general vibe was chill. Will definitely be back for happy hour!

Great, busy Bushwick cocktail bar that also serves food at very reasonable prices. Came in on an evening for dinner the last time, the place was packed with a young, attractive crowd and served very good food. Service is prompt, but the one waiter had a bit of trouble keeping up with all of the tables (which is definitely allowable considering how busy this place was that evening).

Those wings!!! Everything on the menu is good. The price is good, the wings are bomb, the brunch is so cheap, the kale salad *chefs kiss* The playlist is amazing. I don't care want you are into. There is usually one person working the bar and the floor but I've been coming for 2 years and never waited too long to be served.

Love coming to Skytown! Best Happy Hour deal in town & the food is always great! Highly recommended the Mussels, Buffalo Wings, & the Bloody Mary's! Came here during the lunch our and had the hangar steak sandwich with and the Orchard Park cocktail. The sandwich was amazing; meat cooked perfectly, delicious sauce & a decent amount of onions with great flavor. The cocktail is perfect for cold days as it is basically a fall spritz.

I've had the pleasure of visiting SKYTOWN numerous times when I'm in Brooklyn visiting with family. I'm not really a "bar scene" type of person, meaning I can do without the booming music that's so loud you can't hear yourself think. Or the 15 minute wait at a packed bar to overpay for a watered down drink. I think that's why I like SKYTOWN so much, it has the music, just not turned up to 11. It has the drinks, they're just not overpriced and watered down. And, unlike most "bars" I've been to, SKYTOWN has a legitimate kitchen that puts out great food, which makes it worth the visit alone. Last time I visited I had (more than?) a couple of their beef tacos and they rivaled any taco I've ever had; phenomenal. I'm giving 5 stars in this review because this place checks all the boxes for me and more people need to be going here so it stays put for a very long time. These are the kind of unique and locally-owned spots we need in Brooklyn and the rest of America.

What a great random find. I was hungry and wanted something quick, and it was such a good choice. The chicken sandwich was Juicy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Fries were good, and I had 2 drinks. Service was great, and the bar tender was friendly.

Wings are great as well, this is my go to spot for wings in the area. They’re super breaded and crunchy. Good value (for the world we live in) at $12 for 8 wings. Food comes out quickly, great service and speedy drinks, super chill bartenders. I have one super minor complaint, I normally come here around happy hour time but I came one night around maybe 11pm with some friends to get food and the music was insanely loud. Knocked one star off ‘atmosphere’ but doesn’t affect my overall 5* rating at all; my favorite bar in the area.

My wife and I walked in for a Sunday afternoon beer. I noticed that the brunch items included a beer with their price, so I thought why not get some breakfast tacos too? I got two huge tacos. One with pulled pork and the other with hangar steak. They were great. A pint and two breakfast tacos for sixteen bucks? I think that's a pretty good value seeing as the pint is usually seven dollars. The bartenders/servers were nice, the food was great, and the place was inviting. Not too brightly lit. Brick, wood, whiskey, and country vibes but no ten gallon hats or square dancing. I'll be back to try the brunch burger.

I wouldn’t come here for the food but if you’re looking for drinks the food is above average for a bar. Good selection of music as well.

Delightful dinner/happy hour experience! What can I say? We love a bar that commits to a theme, and the Halloween decor was a perfect touch for spooky season. I commented that this felt like a hometown bar to my partner. It’s delightfully calm for an otherwise bustling location on Broadway. Good beer selection and a small but effective cocktail menu. My partner got the Cool Hand which he enjoyed. I ordered a beer. i appreciated the table service after ordering at the bar! Mozzarella sticks, shrimp tacos, and the chopped cheese exceeded expectations. So happy we chose this as a "screw it, hard day at work, let's get out of the house" sort of moment. Thanks Skytown!

I love Skytown. During the day - great place to work on your laptop and even take casual calls. When you get hungry, get the 9/10 cheeseburger, truly one of the best burgers you will ever have in NYC. About 15 items on their menu full of simple salads, sandwiches and 1 burger you can add anything to. At night, its a great dinner/drinks spot. Very dark in here. Does not get rowdy and the bartenders who are also the servers are consistently kind and offer great service. One of a kind!!

Let's talk about SKYTOWN. This is one of the best places I've ever been to, my adoration of it knows no bounds. SKYTOWN is open late. It has a stylish interior, even for an upscale bar. It's not too noisy. The wait staff are great. They were very nice to me every time I have been there. The food is phenomenal. They have some seriously good, inventive options. The steak sandwich is delicious. The fried chicken and waffles, while nontraditional (a bit of a smaller waffle tan typical, already split, presented beautifully, with boneless chicken that is lightly fried and seasoned very well), is some of the best I have ever had. The brunch deal here is great, and given there is no outdoor seating it is a secret brunch spot. It was almost empty on a Saturday at noon. If you live in the area and you aren't a regular here, you're missing out.

Decent sit in dinning with cool air conditioning on a hot day. The music was a little louder than I liked. Food needs some work. Low on staff, it's a clean place.

I usually only go to Skytown when I'm hanging out at the Opera House Lofts, but the bartenders are generous with their regulars, and the regulars are friendly to the newcomers. Relaxed with good food and strong drinks, it's great for 8am caffeine or a 5pm buzz. My only complaint is that there's no skim milk for my coffee!

Went for brunch while I waited for shop to fix the bike. Brunch started at 10 and I ordered my standard order of a french toast and hot chocolate. It was arguably the second best french toast I have had in the city and on that cold day, the hot chocolate was very nice. The staff was friendly and the place has that hipstery rustic wood, chalkboard feel to it. It was easy to miss because of minimal branding outside. Sat at the window and it was pretty peaceful. The place is clean and could be a great spot to meet friends.

This place is great the chef is fantastic. The double cheeseburger is my go too. I would give it five stars but the bartenders who take your order suck to be blunt. They take care of the regulars who drink at the bar everyday, they chat and gab away meanwhile I and my friend are sitting at a table for twenty plus minutes no menu or water. I understand it's a bar you are a bartender and chatting away is how you make your pay. If it is also your job to take my food order and welcome me to the place and offer water and I made eye contact with BOTH bartenders I shouldn't have to wave you over with a "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME" I appreciate this place cause I'm a local and I enjoy bringing my friends here for the chef and his food! Not for the regular drunks who lurk in this bar everyday. Last time I was there the drunks were blocking the way to the bar so I could pay for my order (which was WRONG because the bartender was not listening and still focused on his conversation with a regular) The drunks were blocking the way and when I said excuse me the drunk wants to get uppity and tell (excuse HIM EVERYONE BIG MAN COMING THROUGH!) He proceeded to grab at my hat and just act a fool. Yes I'm a proud big man and it took every ounce in my not to knock him out. Again love the food just fix your staff so they do their job well and maybe hire me to toss the regular drunks out.

Super low-key spot to read a book or work on your laptop. Also with brunch and delicious chicken sandwiches. Their Kale Ceasar Chicken Salad(no avocado) is pretty solid too.

Bar atmosphere, food was ok. We went during the week, and there was only one person at the bar. You had to go to that one person to place your drink and food order. We were there during happy hour but our whole party was charged full price for our drinks.

While my review doesn't look like a good one when you look at the stars, you have think about the KIND of bar this is. It's small, the music isn't too loud during the afternoons and the happy hour is pretty good With $5 fries, $5 well coctails and beer until 7, this is a great place to go to after-work. With a slim but adequate menu that features a rotating special, Skytown is absolutely a hole-in-the-wall worth going to if you need a drink. Vegan options: French fries

drink was really tasty but i felt like the service was lacking. took a full ten minutes maybe more until my drink was started to get made- the bartender was a bit oblivious to my presence and seemed a bit more occupied handling small talk and side conversation between regulars and coworkers. if the drink wasn't good id probably not consider coming back, food looks tight and i wanna try it, and the general vibe is low key and i like that

Beware of the bartenders committing fraud. I frequent this place and there has been two instances where I was charged more than the tip I put. Make sure to take of picture of your receipt. Good food though.

Service and drinks were great. However, the sign outside says "Happy Hour $5 cocktails", but neglects to explain that 'cocktails' refers to well drinks only, and not to 'house cocktails'. 1: Who calls a well drink a cocktail? 2: The 'house cocktails' are the only drinks listed on the menu. What else would I take the sign to refer to? Seems intentionally misleading.

Just tried calling there to ask what time the kitchen closes so that me and my significant other can grab a bite before going home. I must called over 7 times and someone keeps picking up the phone and hanging it up. Like what is going on over there.

So I ordered an old fashion and a burger at the bar. My friend ordered shrimp and grits. I took a sip of my drink and it tasted like straight salt. I asked "is this an old fashioned" bartender said "yes" I took another look noticed a fly in it and sent the drink back. Second drink arrives and it still taste like a salt lick! I asked the bartender if she was putting salt in my drink she said "no its sugar" I told her she need to check again even offered her a taste. She did check and realized that she had in fact been putting salt in my drink. She makes me another drink in the same glass that had now had two rounds of salt and a fly in it. So naturally my drink was still salty...🤨 she didn't comp my drink and acted like it was someone else fault...🤨 I know salt and sugar look similar but any bartender worth their "salt," pun intended, preps there bar before starting and knows what's what. Most bartenders also take a straw full of a drink to taste it to make sure it's right. None of this happend hense my 3 glasses of sea water. Further more the food was bland and tasteless so I suppose that is why the salty drink. My advice steer clear!
