I ordered a patacon after my friend had it on Wednesday today is Thursday it was made different the taste is different . The plantain is soft and it supposed be like a plantain there’s no sauce . The food is dry . After I made concerns saying the food look different they told me it the same so I just left . They have different chef that make good food .

I got food poisoning from this restaurant yesterday and my daughter as well

Ive come here 4 times I’ve noticed the only lady that serves the best customer service is the older darker one the rest of the ladys working here are really rude and even charge extra i came in and bought 2 pork chops by them selves and this young lady charges me 17$!!! for them i dont know if its cause im white they thought they could get me with that but absolutely the worst lady’s serving only one of them is kind and true to prices and wont try to rob you ive been to this new place called Roys couple blocks away and i recommend them anytime this place is sadly scammy one lady here charges me 12$ the next charges 15 or more for the same food wish these lady’s weren’t so scammy horrible ppl be warned!

Just don't bother. I've never ordered a mangu anywhere with the consistency of a soup. I think they blended the plantains. It was a waste of money and it tastes bad. How can Spanish restaurant ruin a mangu?!

The food is good, the place is clean. The only issue is they seem a bit racist towards black people. They literally will skip over people who are black and go to help the Spanish people. I go here at least 2 times a week and every single time I’m waiting super long for a simple order and they’re other blacks waiting as well with the same exact complaint. They have you wait around and they skip over you and take the Spanish customers and serve them much faster!

I ordered a sancocho and a chicken soup on uber eats they sent be a sancocho with 3 big pieces of platano and a pice of chicken back the chicken soup was 3 big pieces of potato and a chicken bone to top it all off I asked for white rice they sent black rice mixed with beans never will I ever spend money here again

I used to eat here for over eighteen years. Since they retuned after COVID they have gone down. I went there this evening to purchase some food , spaghetti with my daughter. As I am about to give my order I see a cockroach running near the hot pans of the rice and peas!!! The worker swipes the cockroach away then tries to take my order . I turned around to my daughter and told her what happened. We immediately departed the restaurant. This is deplorable conduct to be in this community and serving infested food. Shame on the community!
