Great service from start to end! Pizza is among if not the very best Atlanta has to offer. Fresh amazing pie crust, cooked to perfection by the pizza chef! Salads we perfect. If your looking for a great pizza that is price point perfect then make Veros your next stop! I promise you will not be disappointed!! This review is based on 3 visits and I will be returning on a regular basis.

I used to travel a lot and I tested two things in every city I ever went to: Caesar salads and pizza. As a result, I've had some of the best that NY, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and Denver offer. I would put Vero up there with the best of anything I have ever had. The dough is light, has a gently crisp and char, and the sauce is ethereal, offering the right amount of flavor and not overpowering the pie, which I have seen other "good" pizza places do. The toppings are all fresh and taste of extreme quality. I've had the Margarita and the Funghi and both were exceptional in their quality and flavor. In fact, I would put this up against ANY pizza in Atlanta and many in NYC and Chicago. It reminds me a lot of another favorite pizza of mine, Co. in NYC which is made by a baker and exceptional as well. Make no mistake, Vero can hang with the best of them. If I'm going to rate Vero on a 1-10 scale (ala, Dave Portnoy), I would give this pizza a 9.3. Worth driving for, worth taking visiting friends to, and worth putting on a list of "must-try's' when within a twenty-mile radius or visiting the area. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Vero’s pizza is the best pizza I’ve had in Atlanta!!! I am honestly blown away by how incredible it is! We ordered to go tonight, the margarita with roasted garlic, for the 2nd time and wow! The crust was chewy yet crunchy, the sauce is divine, and the cheese/garlic/basil/sauce ratio was perfect! Make sure if you do takeout to reheat the pizza as the box says when you get home, it truly makes it perfect! This will be our go to for all pizza from now on! Nothing else I have found in the Atlanta area can compare.

Vero is a great neighborhood spot for simple pizzas with great ingredients. Family friendly and often boasting of nightly specials, Vero is an easy place to drop in for a delicious meal. My go to tip is to be up for ordering anything with their delicious meatballs.

TLDR; Vero customer service: 5 stars Vero Pizza Taste: 5 stars Uber Eats: ZERO STARS Order Vero over Uber eats. Bad decision! The driver picked up multiple orders and ended up giving me the wrong pizzas. Contacted Vero they had Uber refund us the cost and remade the order.Had to go to the location as they do not have their own delivery service to pick up the remade order. Mildly annoying but understandable. Restaurant was full however the staff was prompt, extremely friendly and very apologetic. Both Chef and Manger came to talk to me. Very appreciated. Pizzas were delicious. Vero was great and will be back! Wont be ordering from Uber eats for awhile if ever again.

This was the best pizza I’ve had outside of Naples, Italy. The toppings were whole, fresh, healthy and the crust was unbelievably authentic. This is not New York pizza or Chicago pizza this is Neapolitan pizza...in Atlanta, GA USA.

Best pizza in Brookhaven. The pizza is much more "italian" than you average pizza joint which is a good thing. I ordered the #4 pizza it was fantastic and the Vero salad was good as well. For 2 people, I would suggest combining with a couple salads to get you full

The pizza is delicious; they are kind of personal size. I had the Diavola which had some kick to the red sauce with meats that reminded me of NY Italian delis in the 80s. Wife had the Quattro formaggi which is a white pizza with, as the name indicates, four cheeses. It was delicious as well, I gotta have the red sauce though. They share a kitchen with the Italian restaurant next door so you can order from that menu while you’re there. Service was attentive and it has a really nice rustic atmosphere.

I have lived in ATL for 10 years now, and enjoy exploring and try restaurants across the city. I may be biased as I live here in Brookhaven, but this is the best pizza in all of Atlanta! The quality of the ingredients and really shines through. Also a big fan of the calzones. Lively atmosphere, and I enjoy watching the chefs making pizza in the open kitchen. All around 10/10

Cozy place. Pizza is simple, thin, and comes out extremely quickly. The Diavola is my personal favorite. An average adult can probably eat close to an entire pizza themselves so get a few to share. Good wine selection but can be pricey. Accidentally drank an $80 bottle one time because we thought we had ordered the $20 bottle from the same company and only realized when we got the check. I'd recommend eating in the restaurant over take out or delivery as it's best right out of the oven.

Passed by this restaurant on a Friday evening. We were looking for a place that serves Vegetarian /Vegan options.. And we stopped at Vero Pizzeria.. they didn't have vegan cheese pizza but it could be customized with toppings (vegetables) and no cheese.. and luckily the pizza dough was vegan. So we went inside and sat down.. the oven baked pizza was served us within no time.. Great Service ✔️ It was delicious and soft.. the dough was perfectly done ✔️ the red sauce on it was flavorful. We also ordered a side dish .. it was great as well! Definitely worth the visit.. The 🍕 was the main highlight 😍

It's like a slice if Italy in your own backyard. While they do not offer gluten free crust, this pizza place has top notch ingredients and a great vibe.

I loved the place its really cozy and the staff was friendly. The Margarita pizza was ok. The dough was not as tasty as I tough and was not cooked well unfortunately 😔but the cheese was awesome flavorful and good 👍🏼 not sure if I will come back as I was really craving for a good pizza 🍕

Neapolitan style pizza. Thin but yet still doughy. Potential maybe. Service at the bar was great. Bread pudding served room temperature not good.

Great staff and pizzas. A family friendly environment that always seems to have a crowd. The polpetta is my go to Pizza when visiting. An extended bar sneaks along the center of the restaurant and is a great way to quickly grab a pizza and a drink with one or two others to potentially avoid a wait.

This place is good. Not as good as the restaurant group's, Word of Mouth, other two restaurants, Haven and Valenzuela but good. Lovely service. Great wine selection. Pizza is pretty good. Cozy atmosphere.

Pretty good pizza for the price. Would have been 5 stars if the pizza weren't dripping wet and the staff's lack of awareness. Stood around at front door for a couple of minutes staring at the fellow patrons and wondering if we should just find a table. Waited too long for someone to notice our arrival, so had to get up and flap my arms to get a menu. (I knew I should have brought a signal flare, just in case). Not sure why the waiter assumed that two adult males would share a single order of tiny canolli.

On a recent visit to Atlanta a couple of us decided to go out for pizza. Vero Pizzeria was clean and the atmosphere was casual. We were seated on the side of the restaurant with the brick oven and we could see the pizzas being made. I ordered a margherita pizza. Usually this has herbs such as basil scattered throughout, sometimes fresh tomatoes along with the herbs. This version was actually simply a cheese pizza with 3 basil leaves artfully placed in the middle. I dont really care about the art. The bites I had at the ends of the pizza slices were good and I enjoyed the few bites with basil. The crust was very good, by the way. The cheese pizza was a decent basic cheese pizza...but I didn't order that. A friend ordered a pizza that involved honey drizzled over, which was very good.

It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor sitting. Complementary valet parking. No other parking options. This place is a pizza place but the pizza is an average quality pizza. 6 slice pizza will cost you around $25 if you go with extra toppings. Bit pricey and you will not get what you pay for. If you go with their menu pizza then you will feel like eating just the dough so need more topping. One topping can cost you up to 4 bucks. After paying extra for topping I got one olive piece per slice. Which is not worth spending. Open kitchen so it’s pretty loud inside and outside traffic noise. So I cannot say that nice ambience. Friendly staff though. I would not return back to this place.

It would have been great if the bottom of our pizzas were not burnt. Should not be charcoal. Charcoal is not edible, not in Georgia, not in Napoli. Either the oven floor has not been cleaned (yes, it does need to be cleaned every day with a wet rug), or there was too much flower on the peel, or the floor was way too hot, or the pizza has been left there too long, or it has been moved to a different position since it was first put in. I am available for training.

Perfect pizzeria! Location, decor, staff, food and drinks were great! We cannot say enough good things! 🐝 Update: we left a hat behind by accident, we called back from outside but we’re told to come back next day despite them staring at us through the window as we spoke. We go back the next day and the hat was resized, bent and wet with what we assume was sweat. We felt the need to update the review based on this unfortunate issue.

We haven’t ordered here in about a year & used to love takeout here. We ate in the car outside and realized we were not very satisfied by the flavors on either pie that we ordered separately. Even brought our own fresh garlic and basil but nothing could help how bland and undercooked the margharita & Quattro formaggi pizzas were. Great service as always but very bland cheese & prosciutto selection. Lacking uniqueness & quality that we remembered veros having. 😌

Ordered a pizza to-go on 1/21. Pizza was RAW. The crust was chewy and barely cooked. Maybe some people like their pizzas this way but not me.

I get the pizza from Uber Eats, looked decent, and I take a bite and see a long dark strand of hair in it!!!!!

Do not waste your money. Its WAY over priced, and sub par pizza. Their pizzas are basically a thin piece of dough, with partial/razor thin sauce and condiments (basically just dough), and the size is the equivalent of a Small pie (6/7 slices)… and over $20.

Ordered a spicy sauce and hot honey pizza with a few toppings via Uber eats. Pizza was wet, cold, soggy, only 6 pieces, not spicy, cost 20 plus bucks (not including fees) and felt like biting into a wet noodle. I had to reheat it for another 10 mins just to make it edible.

Always used to enjoy going to Vero but service and food were not great. Service staff are focused on families so if you are an older couple they will ignore you.

WARNING: IF YOU ARE A MINORITY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. First off, upon entering the restaurant, there was a blonde woman at the bar who had a sense of urgency to take our orders and proceeded to stand over us while we looked over the menu. This made us feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcomed to the restaurant. She did an overall awful job of being a server. She assumed that everyone at our table were paying under the same check, we told her that it was actually separate and she gave us an attitude and a deep sigh as if it were a problem. She then came and tried act all nice so we could leave her a tip. Overall this was horrible customer service!!! WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

This is my first time ordering from Vero Pizza. We got a large pizza that was not even 9 inches big no toppings and I paid over $35. I am very disappointed and will never order here again. Also, it was supposed to be the meatball pizza and had no meatballs on it only mushrooms. Very disappointing.

Two times I have ordered. First time was delivery: missing a tiramisu, called about it and nobody cared. Ok. Second time, after a while, I was like let me try again. This time I picked my order up…there was so much oil I could swim in it. Done. And I am Italian, real one, so had to. And I I don’t take pictures to get money back, that’s for Karens.
