This is the local neighborhood Thai food that I've been missing! The duck dishes are incredible and the curries are so silky and flavorful. All the classics are available and some interesting takes I haven't seen. Great vegetarian options too. They're very kid-friendly and the wait staff are super kind.
This restaurant is in a very convenient location, just steps away from the B/Q train station, with the B41 bus stopping right at the door. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially if you’re unsure what to order. The food is amazing, the drinks are just right, and everything is consistently delicious. This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants, and I highly recommend it.
🇹🇭✨🍜 I stopped by here for a quick dinner, and it was packed. The line wasn't bad, though, and they found a table for me in five minutes. I ordered Roti Massaman for an appetizer and Pad Thai with seafood for the main course. Both were delicious, and the service was great! I saw many dishes on the menu that I want to try. I'll be back for sure!
Me and my husbands experience eating here was amazing. We had the Thai wings, Tom Kha Soup, Basil Seafood Fried Rice and Pad Thai. Every dish was so flavorful and good. The staff has amazing customer service and are so friendly. Even our drinks were amazing!! Please support this local business!
Amy’s is my favorite local Thai spot. It’s a gem in PLG, and is run by the kindest people. Their Tom Kha soup is delicious, and I usually order the eggplant dish with it. Cashew Nut is also good. It feels special inside even though it’s a small venue, because it’s usually adorned with pretty decorations. I’m continuing to try new things on the menu—like the Spicy tamarind margarita, who knew?!—but also, it’s just a good joint to get some satisfying takeout if I need to put my feet up instead of cooking after work. My appreciation goes to the entire staff at Amy’s.
We went to this restaurant as a group of 4 friends, my experience was great! I ordered the See Ew chicken udon and it was really good. Their lavender lemonade was also great, not too sweet like some other places make it. Everything tastes nice and fresh. Would recommend!
Amy Thai Bistro is such a hidden gem! The food tastes just like home-cooked Thai — full of authentic flavors. We tried Tom Kha Soup, Zab Wings (just like the original KFC in Thailand!), Thai Curry Puff, Whole Fried Fish with Ginger Sauce, Crab Fried Rice, and Spicy Bamboo Chicken — every dish was amazing. The Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee were perfectly sweet. The staff and owner were very friendly, not just to us but to all the customers while we were there. You can really feel the warmth and care in both the food and the service. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood Thai spots!
Amazing experience at Amy Thai Bistro! The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a nice dinner. Drinks were also great. Definitely coming back and highly recommend!
I’ve been coming to Amy’s for years and the service is exceptional! Very welcoming, pleasant staff providing great service to myself and all guest in the location. I love their lychee martini and veggie pad Thai! Glad we have this location in the neighborhood Thanks Amy Thai Bistro!✨
LOVED LOVED LOVED this spot in the heart of Flatbush. Amy’s Thai nailed every dish my friend and ordered to celebrate a Galentines day 💝 We had the crab Rangoon, basil fish, wings, and panang duck and each dish was so flavorful and honestly we wanted to finish everything right off the plate but got full haha. We also got Thai iced tea and virgin pina colada which were refreshing. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone who loves Thai!
Words cannot begin to describe how much i loved my experience at this here restaurant!!! my home girls and i happened to stumble upon them on valentine’s day and we felt the LOVE. the service was 10/10 and the food was 11/10. everything we ordered was amazing all the drinks were strong, the lemonade was delicious and each cup is made by hand. the appetizers were so tasty and most notable was the masamam curry. the panang fish was so so good and the portions are perfect. i love this place and i will be back when i come to visit the city. thank you to these wonderful people!! 🩷🩷🩷
I had a fantastic time @ Amy Thai. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. I will definitely be coming back!
The food here is delicious! We ordered a large meal for several of us which included spring rolls, the steamed dumplings, calamari, cashew nut with shrimp sauté dish, the basil with shrimp sauté dish and the basil fish dish. Everything was tasty. The delivery was fast. The price was reasonable. If you’re into Thai in Brooklyn, I would definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely perfect dining experience during my visit from California. Very friendly customer service and delish pad see ew. Thai iced tea was pretty good too. So glad that this place is just right down the block from my friends house :)
Service was great, very friendly and the food came fast, it a cute little spot for a quiet date night , we came around 5:30 and finished eating by 6:30 I ordered the Thai wings and Thai pork chops both delicious would highly recommend other couples to come here for a cute evening date :)
Phenomenal food, off the first bite alone I knew the plate would be really good and I’m a tough critic in regards to Thai food. The basil, rice and chicken was very flavorful and cooked well. The gyoza was good aswell. I will be back 10/10.
The waiter Taira was very friendly and we enjoyed delicious, authentic Thai food and very pleasant atmosphere. I lived in Thailand for a year, so it was a good was to remember my time there, here.
Beautiful spot, low key and intimate. The food was exceptional! I had the shrimp clay pot and it was the best Thai dish I’ve had in a while. Hot and full of fresh flavor - and they don’t skimp on shrimp! The drinks were delicious as well. Priced super reasonably for a nice lunch or dinner. This is my go-to spot for Thai now!
Really love their food. And the lemonade is delicious. Very nice and cozy place to have a peaceful meal. I met Amy today. She is so generous…. And the stuffs are gentle and sweet. I recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Thai cuisine and excellent service.
I had an incredible experience at this establishment! The food was absolutely phenomenal, bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The customer service struck the perfect balance, being attentive without being intrusive, which really enhanced the overall dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking genuine Thai cuisine. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Mini—she’s a gem!
In love with this restaurant! Amazing food and great customer service! We had been here for dinner, started off with veg spring rolls and mint lemonade. The service was quick. The spring rolls were nice and crispy. The mint lemonade was so refreshing and it was purple in color which made it even more attractive. We got spicy basil fried rice and panang chicken curry with white rice for main course. It was hands down delicious!! Absolutely loved every bite of it and more. Very flavorful and super yummy. Our server was very sweet and although she was super busy with other customers, she made sure we got our stuff on time. Will surely be back!! Great food!
Always a solid option for Thai in the neighborhood. I usually take it to go but eating in was a great experience with a group of friends. The roti massamam is delicious as is the crab Rangoon and papaya salad. My go to is panang curry and pad kee mao to share plus there's plenty of options for vegetarians including mock duck. The flavors are balanced, service is friendly and fast, and super well priced!
Came here to celebrate our anniversary! It’s a hit every time! The food is so delicious and staff is so friendly and welcoming! Making this our new anniversary tradition 💖
I first enjoyed the experience of this cuisine through pickup and found that the food was made fresh and delicious. Typically, i order the red snapper fish whenever i come here and it is worth the price. To dine in the atmosphere is lightly dimmed with a more small intimate space. They have a bar section to the side as well
Food and drinks are all really good, perfect for a date night or brunch with friends. I definitely recommend the Zab wings here and I can honestly say they have the best frozen mango drink in NYC facts. Also don’t know of any other place with a fried ice cream dessert this good. Shout out Amy! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love Amy Thai! Such a staple in the community. Nancha was so sweet and was a great server. I ordered the Duck Tamarind and Pumpkin Curry Puffs 10/10 recommend. It was so good I forgot to take pictures!
Delicious, as always! Frequently order takeout from and visit Amy Thai Bistro, truly some of the best Thai in the city. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming - can’t recommend strongly enough.
For my 1st time here, service & customer service was literally a 10/10. My friend & I ordered nearly every Appetizer on the menu: shrimp rolls, Zab & Thai wings, Pumpkin Curry puffs which were allll amazing. For the entrée I ordered the chicken basil sauce which was a 10/10 as well. The drinks were a little sweet, but hit you down the line. I ordered the dragon fruit colada which was too thick for my liking. On the other hand the Amy Blue & Mango Margarita were amazingg. Overall I would definitely come back to this Thai spot that I discovered while on break at work. Taira was such an amazing host & I will definitely be coming back.
I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with my friend for drinks and a dessert. First off, the interior here is so gorgeous and the servers are excellent! Taira and Amy make sure all of the customers feel happy and are having a good time. The Mango Punch and Thai Iced Tea are only $5 each which is so worth it! The drinks are both very refreshing and come in a big glass. We shared a Fried Ice Cream which was a tasty and sweet dessert, perfect for the hot Summer day.
I had such a great experience at Amy Thai Bistro! They have the most delicious Tom Yum and Pad Thai in New York – full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I also loved their refreshing strawberry lemonade. A special shoutout to our server Taira – it was a real pleasure meeting her, she made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!
This place is very cozy and the prices for the meals are amazing for the portion! We came here as a group of four and we loved every moment being here! Definitely a place I would come back to!!
Amy’s is one of the best places I have ever eaten at, and I travel often. Their crab rangoons are the best I have had in my entire life, and I think about them often. Their creamy Tom Yum is also the best tom yum I have ever had with such a good variety of seafood. Every drink, incredible. Every meal, incredible. If I ever become a millionaire, I want to hire everyone to cook for me personally. Please bless yourself with this golden gem
I've been wanting to try Amy for the longest, and it definitely didn't disappoint the Guava Collins is amazing. I had the basil fried rice with beef and added pineapples - 10/10. We had the Tamarind flavored salmon and that was also a hit just let them know your preferred temperature. Definitely coming back!
My waitress caught an attitude because I asked her for a shorter glass after being served a classic margarita in a wine glass, then I tipped her and to date I received no thank you she just grabbed the bill and walked away. Never had this experience there, usually staff is awesome. But food is consistently great!
Went here with my friend for the first time. The atmosphere is amazing and the servers are so welcoming and nice as soon as you walk in. The food is delicious. Now I love me some wings so I had to try the Thai chicken wings and that was so good. And they got drunken noodle too! OMG I was in Heaven. Best place for some Thai food. Check them out
I just Tried Thai food today and i really enjoyed the experience and the service it was a very good service i will be back for more food i will also bring some friends i had the pork chop it taste really good and the sticky rice went well with it.the spot is small but enjoyable but all in all it is a great resturant to visit is you lookijg for a small cozy vibe with some of your friends preferably a small group of friends. Might even come for my birthday here.
This place is SO good! The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with love. I had the basil fried rice, chicken wonton, Mango Sticky Rice and the cream cheese with crab appetizer and every bite was amazing. You can tell they cook with love. The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. The vibe is cozy but still lively, and the portions are generous. Definitely my new go-to spot for Thai food — can’t wait to come back! We came with my little one and they even give her a very nice plate with toys utensils. Love it and the lychee martini is a must have.
I come here with my best friend all the time and every time the food, service and atmosphere is always so amazing. Very welcoming staff to a point that they know my best friend and I order. I highly recommend the drunken noodles, shrimp roll, calamari and their thai ice tea. Highly recommend for some quick and affordable food. Never have a wait time so you are usually guaranteed a table at the spot.
Literally the perfect Thai spot right off the Prospect Park Q train. The food here is yummy and the staff is SO kind! You must get a drink - they can make any of them a mocktail and they were super refreshing! The Thai Iced Tea was also the right amount of sweetness. - Pad Woon Sen: A yummy rice noodle dish that has a bit of everything. - Zab Wings: Really tasty coating on the wings! Not spicy at all. - Mango Sticky Rice: Classic Thai dessert AND super affordable here ($8)!! - Tom Kha Soup: Surprisingly really delish and a nice change from Tom Yum. It's a homey coconut milk-based soup! - Roti Massaman: Another classic Thai dish that's perfect for sharing. You can't go wrong. Overall, everything we got was very good and affordable priced. The hospitality is the BEST as well! The owner, Amy, also stopped to chat with us and she was so sweet. I'd definitely come back!
Love the roti massaman! The curry sauce was extremely flavorful, creamy, and perfect level of spice. I finished every last sip! The roti could’ve been flakier, and wasn’t as good as it looks. The pad see ew had good flavor as well, but appearance was very disappointing, so opposite problem of the roti. Hence I took off one star from food. Thai ice tea was extremely tasty as well, so definitely recommend! Bonus points: service was awesome!! Love the waiters/waitresses because they’re full of great vibes. Left 4 stars because the food could’ve been slightly better, but the service was top tier! Changed the review from 4 to 5 because of service, but back to 4 because my friend group’s picture got turned into an AI video on their Instagram😭 PS bathroom smelled NICE, a little weird to leave in my review, but shoutout to the bathroom LOL
I've gone back here at least twice a month in the last two months for their pumpkin curry puff and the drunken noodle. The pineapple fried rice felt very undercooked, but I'll go back and try another time since all their other dishes have been so good. I really like their staff and the ambience. Always feels warm walking in :)
I ordered the lavender lemonade with lychee and the drunken noodles with shrimp. The lemonade was a little sweet but after adding some water and letting the ice melt a little it was perfect. The drunken noodles had the perfect amount of spice. The broccoli and veggies were cooked to perfection and the shrimp was juicy. I easily made a reservation and was greeted and seated quickly. Finding parking is rough but that’s not their fault. The place got packed so I’m glad we had our reservation already set. A good vibe with delicious food. No complaints.
This trendy Thai spot in Brooklyn nails everything. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool—stylish, relaxed, and the kind of place you want to linger in, whether it’s a casual weeknight or a fun night out. The food? Truly outstanding. Every dish is bursting with flavor, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with care and serious skill. You can taste the freshness and creativity in every bite. It’s the kind of restaurant that instantly earns a spot in your regular rotation. I’ll be coming back again and again (and again), because when the vibe is this good and the food hits this hard, why go anywhere else? 🔥🍜
Amy Thai was a pretty good experience. Food: The food was great! Ton Yum soup was fine, massaman curry great, See Ew Udon was sweet and tasty! Mango punch was refreshing and had a refreshing bite to it. Service was standard. Had to ask for water. One of the orders was messed up, but it tasted okay so chose to eat it anyway. Atmosphere: cute little place. Good lighting with windows. Modern look with mirrors and seating. Pleasant background noise.
Food is really good. Have dined in, delivery and take out! The crab rangoon is a must try. The pineapple curry oh yummmm. The service could be better. They give you your bill without asking if you want something else and then have to change it if you have dessert. It's a bistro so it's small but the food keeps calling me back. Love it!
I had previously placed an online order from this establishment and was somewhat disappointed. Therefore, I decided to give it a chance by visiting in person, hoping for a change of opinion. Unfortunately, my experience did not improve. Upon entering the restaurant, I realized that it was much smaller than I had anticipated, creating a cramped atmosphere. I would not recommend this place for large parties, as it is not suitable for more than two people. Although we were seated promptly, we had to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes before a server came to take our order. Throughout the evening, we encountered four different servers. As someone who works in operations, I found this lack of efficiency concerning, despite not being in the food industry myself. To make matters worse, the party seated next to us, who arrived 20 minutes after us, was served before us and received all of their orders first. This was quite frustrating, considering the amount of time we had already spent waiting. Nevertheless, we decided to stay and make the best of our time. Once we placed our orders, it became evident that this restaurant does not offer authentic Thai cuisine. I have never been to a Thai establishment that does not provide the option of "Thai spice." However, I digress. The only highlight of the night was the appetizers we ordered. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were bland and lacked the desired level of spice. I would not recommend dining in at this restaurant. If you happen to be in the area and need a quick snack, I suggest only grabbing some appetizers and drinks to go. When we requested the check, it took an additional 15 minutes to arrive at our table. Overall, this experience has left a lasting impression on me, and I have no intention of returning in the future.
