Anything in Brooklyn is a neighborhood spot with a vibrant atmosphere, good drinks, and a dance floor. Customers rave about the Painkiller cocktail and pizza. Some find the service and ordering process confusing, and a few mention issues with tipping and management.

Anytime I come to Brooklyn I have to visit Anything! This time we introduced our family and friends for pizza and they said it was the best they've had in NYC! The music playlist was vibing! I love the unique menu, especially the Chick Peas/Broccolini on Toast!!! And the Painkiller drink is my favorite! Definitely recommend!
Narraganset on tap? Fire. Shoddy burger? Goes crazy. Atmosphere/Interior design? I heart Elevated but cozy spaces. I love a hospitality approach that is somehow both accommodating but hands off, so this is my go to place for ahem anything Kinda The only neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to that gives a shit
We came here looking for the sushi place that used to be here but this place was a pleasant surprise. It seems to have expanded to 455 and 453 Rogers and the place has a nice vibe. I had the chipped cheese calzone and it was delicious, especially the sauce that came with it. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back for drinks sometime.
Love this place 💯 Chicken sando & fries = yummy 😋 drinks are great, nice bartenders, music is a vibe w/ DJ Fela every first Friday! 🪩
Cool place, Friendly bartender , I really like this place , drinks are good . I really like dance floor the Dj was playing some old cool house and R&B music 😁👍
Cool hidden bar with delicious cocktails, snacks and pizza. They also have movie nights, trivia nights and dj on weekends.

Food and drinks were great. Would definitely come back to try more
Absolutely love this little gem. It was highly recommended by some friends and so decided to check it out for myself. I found it to be a delight--relaxed, creative vibe with really great food and service. Love the bar, which has some unique cocktails. The pizza (could this be some of the best in NY?) and the recently added bakery really put it over the top. Highly recommend.
We love coming to Anything! They have great happy hour deals, their brunch was delicious, and I like that they have one side more for drinking and sometimes dancing while the other side is more sit down / restaurant vibe, but you can order food on either side. They also make their own sourdough and we’ve bought some loaves a couple times. The oysters and clams are delicious and the ramen special was so good. I also love their cocktails. I’m glad we found such a cool neighborhood spot!!
I loved Mo’s Original, loved it when it became Names, and still love Anything. It’s a great neighborhood spot. Their painkiller is delicious, such a great burger, and Tuesday’s all day happy hour is 10/10. It is counter service only to place your order and pay (they bring food and drink out to you) and I would say don’t come in a hurry because staffing is always pretty low, but everyone is really nice, ambiance is great, and food/drinks are delish.
Sexy little bar in PLG. Great date spot. Really nice interior design, has a lot of character. Not too loud, very easy to have a conversation. They also had a restaurant side but it feels pretty separate when you’re in the bar.
Anytime I visit Anything I have an incredible experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out. The fun dancing always adds excitement to the evening. The food is always fantastic—definitely don’t skip out on the pizza. The cocktails are absolutely amazing! Each drink was delicious, thoughtfully crafted and enhanced the overall experience. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend Anything enough for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

love their happy hour offerings, especially the shoddy burger. wish they added fries and a few more cocktails to the selection. pizza lacks flavor and has chewy crust, not crispy. spicy chicken sandwich has good flavor but is too thin and hard, batter is too gritty. would enjoy some shade for outdoor seating. new staff is friendlier. happy to see this establishment stay with some positive changes.

very overpriced, pizza was good but i have a tough time calling this place a “bar” they don’t even sell a single bottled or canned beer. a bit yuppie, but i guess that’s what’s happening to the neighborhood. would prefer to see a place with a bit more range not just catering to the late millennial Ad Agency newcomers in PLG happy to spend 10+ per beer.
I guess $5 is not enough of a tip for two drinks and sitting for a total of 20 mins according to the bartender who decided to crash out at my partner and I tonight as we were leaving. “Anything under 20%” is unacceptable. The funny thing is after I saw him come out of the bathroom without washing his hands I shouldn’t haven’t given him anything 😂. Anyways so inappropriate to treat anyone this way, but especially someone who has been supporting the bar since literally day one through all its changes.

The establishment didn't look too busy, and the reviews weren't bad, So, on our way to Dorsey’s Fine Art Gallery, we decided to stop by for a quick brunch. It took almost 10 minutes for the person behind the counter to take our order. Although the food came out fairly quickly, the waiter didn't bring out utensils and dropped the food on the dirty table. We had to ask him to clean it, and asked several times for him to bring out utensils and napkins. We were not offered water, my partner had to go inside to get glasses and water for us. Moreover, the fish sandwich was hard and tasteless. The fries were half burnt. The outside tables and surrounds were nasty. Again I went to the bar to ask for a check.. Minimal service was offered at any point of my encounter.
Came here for dinner Saturday evening, opened a tab, and when I went to close it, the bartender informed me he had given my card to another person with a similar name. Of course, mistakes happen, but the response from the bar/restaurant was underwhelming and disappointing. While they didn’t force me to pay for the 3 drinks on my tab (and really, how could they), they had still charged me for the other person’s bill. The manager apologized for the lost card, took down my number, and promised they would try to reach the other customer and follow up with me in the next 24-48 hours. This never happened - not even a “Hey, we’re sorry, we couldn’t reach him”. Ultimately, this felt like less than the bare minimum response for giving away my primary credit card to someone else. I ended up having to completely cancel the card, mark several fraudulent charges, and am still waiting for a replacement. I was SO excited for this place, and was the one who convinced my friends to go out of their way to come here. So it’s truly frustrating and disappointing to have had such an experience. That aside, the food was pretty good. Maybe not *quite* worth of the hype it’s getting, but certainly enjoyable. If you do come here, just keep your card and don’t open a tab.

The pizza is underwhelming. Finding out how to order is annoying. This place has never not been weird. The ramen used to be good, I've always liked the burger. Everytime I try to interact with this restaurant I wind up so irritated, I keep trying again bc it seems like other people like it so much.

first time at this place i walked in with my girlfriend. as we came in we stood at the entrance and were blankly started at the waiter; who gives guidance on where to sit. So we go through the semi packed space and find a seat. after a few minutes we realized we had to order from the bar itself. EVEN after about 15 minutes and trying to get the waiters attention we were still ignored. VERY frustrating to the point where the general VIBE of the place was enough for me to leave. the food definitely looks good but the service is where it starts at!
Echoing other reviews...management is very rude, please see our experience with the bar owner from an event we hosted this past weekend at Anything in Flatbush. We recently hosted a private event at this venue and strongly advise against doing business with this establishment or its owner. The experience was highly unsatisfactory. We agreed on a bar minimum via email and paid the deposit, but now the owner is unjustly attempting to keep it. The terms of our agreement were clear: we would cover any shortfall beyond the bar minimum, yet he refuses to provide a detailed statement of the transactions and claims we will never see the deposit again. Additionally, although we decorated the space with his permission, he is now suggesting that he did us a favor by allowing it, and he never mentioned any "decorating fee" beforehand. This is a blatant attempt to extract more money from us. The owner’s tone in emails has been condescending and disrespectful. We believe that no one should engage with this establishment given our experience. We try to work with businesses that move into our neighborhoods, and its troubling to see how they can exploit the communities they are supposed to be serving. __________________________________________________ I see that the owner has responded, but it’s clear he doesn't manage his business properly. We are not harassing him; we’re simply asking for a refund of our deposit and a detailed ledger of the bar's earnings for that night. A deposit is meant to be refundable. Everything he mentioned in his response was agreed to in advance. If he didn’t want to lower the bar minimum, he should have refused when we asked, but he agreed. If he didn’t want to reschedule the DJ, he should have said no when we requested it, but he agreed. If decorating the space wasn’t allowed, he should have informed us, but instead, he confirmed we could do so. Our decorations were flowers, picture frames, and balloons, which even his bartender and bouncer admired, expressing a wish that the place looked like that more often. If we hadn’t met the agreed-upon bar tab, that would be a different issue, but he hasn’t provided any evidence that we didn’t meet it. He’s currently keeping our deposit, which he never stated was non-refundable, and taking the money our guests spent at the bar that night. Additionally, we were never informed that we needed to have a single tab. He knew we’d have 80-100 guests who would be paying individually towards the bar minimum we had agreed upon. His claim that "the customer is not always right" clearly demonstrates that customer satisfaction and honesty are not priorities at Anything at 455 Rogers Ave.
Very Cute place with a nice ambiance. My food came very fast however, I do think I was racially profiled. After briefly sitting inside I asked if I could sit outside and order calamari and the server said sure however he told me I had to pay upfront which I did with no problem. If that’s this establishment policies for outside dining I definitely respect it! Unfortunately I noticed the two other tables were able to wrap up their bill inside. Im a bit disappointed because I live so close and I’ve been looking for a new spot to come to on the regular for calamari!
