This is my choice for best Chinese food establishment in Brooklyn. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well presented. I find the menu and flavors at this place are of a more sophisticated palate when it comes to Chinese food. Their dishes are more on the "authentic" side, and their seasoning and preparation of dishes makes them stand out amidst many options for this cuisine in the area. The interior deco and ambiance if this place is also more elegant, which awards them the best rating. Don't be afraid to request items or dishes not on the menu (we requested baby bok choy), when they are able to accommodate, they do it well. Came today for New Year's celebration and was not disappointed!
Five stars because it’s hard to find truly authentic regional Chinese cuisine in this part of brooklyn. Order: soup dumplings, double cooked pork and salt and pepper shrimp. No, soup dumplings aren’t Szechuan, but these were reasonably well executed. The order was delivered quickly via car (the restaurant does its own seamless deliveries and that seems to be a really good thing) and these didn’t suffer from the delay that many soup dumplings will. To be fair, the dough wasn’t the impossibly thin variety of an iconic xiao long bao, but the slightly thicker dumpling may be the reason why it traveled reasonably well. Double cooked pork was classically prepared (thankfully no fake corn and dried shitake mushrooms in this version) with sliced pork belly, leeks and the appropriate Szechuan seasonings and sauce. The pork had a nice smoky flavor - nicely done. I wasn’t as much a fan of the salt and pepper shrimp - it seemed like they got confused and made it more like a doughy tempura than the classic preparation. But still a fair amount of large shrimp (10 in my box) and we’ll-prepared if not truly authentic. The menu does give away the fact that they are trying to satisfy two audiences, authentic Szechuan aficionados as well as Chinese American tastes. In this part of brooklyn, you can do a lot worse.
This is a great place to satisfy some deep fried spicy cravings. It’s quieter than the usual. Great quantity and sense of space.
Solid mapo tofu and scallion pancake. There is a bathtub for customers and it's relatively clean. The servers and owners were doing their own thing, no problem still very nice folks.

Real solid mapo Chongqing chicken. Good spicy, can ask for less or the authentic
As someone who doesn't write reviews often, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing, particularly the soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and meat dishes. Everything was served quickly, and the restaurant had a clean, modern vibe. It’s definitely the best Chinese place around!
Came in looking for a new lunch place less than a 20 minute walk from Atlantic Terminal and was completely blown away. The food was delicious, whether you’re in the mood for chicken, beef, pork or even vegetarian options the food is amazing and you can tell it’s fresh and great quality. Truly one of those small family run restaurants that are a hidden gem. Hope more people discover it!
Fantastic food! We order dumpling in chilli oil, ginger fish, string beans and everything was 10/10. Also fairly affordable by New York standards.
Remarkably impressive! The employees' professionalism was the key highlight. Get different plates and find what you like. You get satisfying amounts for what you spend. I'm coming back to this restaurant soon!
My husband and I have been ordering from here (and occasionally dining in) probably once a week since we moved to the neighborhood. Extremely consistent quality, great bang for your buck, and a huge menu with all the hits (not just Szechuan dishes). The food comes out crazy fast and it hits every time. Our favorites are the Chongqing spicy chicken, the twice-cooked pork lunch special, the pickled veg + fish soup, and salt & pepper chicken wings but really everything we’ve tried has been great. I love you Authentic Szechuan 🫶🫶🫶
Came here for lunch and absolutely enjoyed everything I ate. My favorites were the soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and all of the chicken dishes I ordered. We ordered family style and everything I tried was fantastic. The ambiance was amazing and the service was impeccable. Everyone working there was really nice and friendly. Would 100% go back again and recommend it to anyone I know. Definitely try this place out.
Excellent crispy spicy chicken, tofu seafood soup, and pork/leek.

One of my favorite restaurants. Chongqing spicy chicken is incredible! The service is also blazing fast, and the portion sizes are large.

Good selection of food on the menu. Good first time experience, have to come back and try some more.
I always order take out & pick it up, it's always prepared pretty quickly. The Cumin Lamb is the best in this neighborhood. Also the Singapore noodles are great (I add additional proteins, which it's great that you can do that). Can't speak on the basic/typical American Chinese dishes, but the specialty dishes are really good.

Noodles were a bit bland and the chicken needed to be cooked better. Excellent service though.

Absolutely horrible. We just sat to eat our dinner and are completely shocked and disappointed! Not sure who’s writing these high reviews, but you’ve been warned. The quality of the food is horrible. Ginger Chicken Pineapple super oily/greasy. The fried rice was mush and clumps! Even the bag of free crispy noodles were stale. My husband is so upset he’s ordering a pizza. Worse Chinese food we’ve ever had. Happy New Year ughhhh!

The Sesame Chicken via delivery was bad. Soggy, chicken chewy, sauce meh… we threw away half the portion, it was a disappointment. Now, the Szechuan style Chong Qing chicken I have ordered and liked.
food here was very very mid. a few things were **bad**, most was just meh. the only redeeming quality was the food came very speedily and was hot. but as for the food, we got the general tso’s and sesame chicken, both were okay but a little weird?? they had lots and lots of garlic and despite getting spicy level, the general tso’s had almost none. texture was okay tho. broccoli was almost raw. however the worst thing by far was the wonton soup. the wontons were 5 layers thick and the filling had a strange offputting aftertaste, tasted like meat flour. overall, it was edible, no one went hungry, but we won’t be ordering from here again.

Thank you for the soup, ask specifically to put light sauce on chicken garlic sauce and this is what you get half container of sauce how can someone eat this had to eat it on the lid,
Why would this place pretend to be “authentic?” The Kung Pao chicken was fried dough and sugar and NO CHICKEN. The worst fast food places don’t use breaded chicken for Kung Pao and use at least some chicken. The same for Chongqing spicy chicken - fried dough and no chicken. The vegetable dish was ordinary.
