Fast service. Delicious traditional banh mi. Really good bread. I am excited to try the tacos next.
I keep coming back here for the classic sandwich. It's the perfect place when you need to grab something tasty to go, or you're just feeling lazy and want a tasty something to bring home.
Phenomenal banh mis at a great price. Nothing more needs to be said. Okay, just kidding. Get the beef shortrib banh mi. It's amazing.
Always fresh, fast and cheap. They aren't super friendly but I'm not usually in there to make friends when I pop in, but in a hurry and hungry.
Sandwiches were absolutely on point. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go there again.
Stellar banh mi sandwiches. Get the short rib. So tender and flavorful.
Delicious bánh mi, soft and fresh bread, quick service, good prices; what’s not to like?
The sandwiches are unbelievable. The crunc of the bread, savory and variety of flavors will win you over
I adore this place!!! The food is always fresh, tasty & hot!!! The staff are very friendly & their business is very clean! They never make you wait long but if they did it would be worth the wait because the sandwiches are so bomb!!!
One of my favorite things to do in the spring and summer is to come here, get a Thai iced tea and classic banh mi sandwich and then picnic in the park or grab a table in the sunshine out front. Good prices, great food and friendly service!
Bahnmigos is a tiny hole in the wall serving up delicious Bahn Mi, Pho and bubble tea. This place is perfect for picking up a few sandwiches for lunch in Prospect Park. The veggie meats are good too for vegetarians.
I order here almost everyday as I work right across the street and the staff here are all amazing. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive to detail. Jimmy in especially is great. And the food is fantastic!
I ordered the chicken sandwich and it tasted wonderful - the bread was both crispy and soft, the salad inside was refreshing and the whole meal was really YUM!
The best Banh mi sandwich I've tasted. However there was some pieces of fat inside that I didn't enjoy.
Best banhmi in Brooklyn.
Great banh mi especially the traditional. Portion is big and decent for the price. It’s a small place but there are a few seats outside.
The classic sandwich was perfectly spicy and delicious. Chicken spring rolls were pretty good too.
Vermicelli salad with pork is fire. Sauce quantity is perfect. Pork is crispy and soooo flavorful. Yum.
Exactly what I want when I’m craving a banh mi. Great, crusty bread and the traditional has ground pork in addition to the typical cold cuts. So good!!!!
Banhmigos is one of my favorite local spots in Park Slope. The food is consistent, always fresh and full of flavor. Last time we decided to try the tacos and they were a delicious surprise. Highly recommend picking up or ordering; their entire menu is delicious!
I’ve only ordered takeout and can’t speak to whether or not this is authentic/traditional bahn mi but the grilled pork sandwich is 🙌. Medium spicy definitely has a kick to it, so be sure to order mild if you’re not into the heat.
In my continued quest to try all the best banh mi places, I walked over to pick up a Vietnamese sandwich. I ended up getting a bit gluttonous and also got the duck rolls and an almond tea bubble tea. Overall it was pretty delicious! The sandwich had a hearty serving of pickled radishes/carrots as well as meat (but I did order the extra meat on the sandwich). I had also ordered it online and it was ready in 15 minutes. This is definitely my new regular ordering spot.
If you want authentic vietnamese food you need to go here. One of my favourite meals of all time is a Vietnamese Bahn Mí and this place hands down does the best I've had. I've travelled all over Vietnam specifically looking for the best Bahn Mí's but nowhere matches this place. I ordered the traditional Bahn Mí but just as for grilled marinated pork to be added. It is honestly a taste sensation. Im not sure any first bite has been so good as it was from this sandwich. The sweetness from the carrot slaw with the herbyness from the cilantro then the perfectly seasoned pork and the richness from the paté makes an unbelievable mouthful of goodness. If you're into Bahn Mís you have to go here. You won't regret it.
Best local Banh Mi sandwich store, this is a Vietnamese family run business and I've been going here for over five years. You can't go wrong with the traditional sandwich. Pair it with the Goi Cuon (Shrimp Roll). They're bubble teas are also great!
The banh mi tacos were the best thing ever. Good fusion food. No place to sit inside and on a cold day take out is probably the answer. Great food. I would go back when I'm in the area.
This place is quick and convenient, and always has delicious food! The quality is great and the people are friendly. The prices are pretty good too. I love the tofu bahn mi or the pho. The tacos are great too. Well... everything is great actually.
I love this place. The best bahnmi sandwiches I've ever had. The bread is always consistently toasted and the perfect level of softness and crispy toastiness!
I couldn’t stop eating the short rib pho. It’s huge and delicious. I liked the traditional banh mi as well but the pho is what I’ll be coming back for soon.
Love the food here! The duck breast summer roll and salad are both really good. Tofu bahnmi isbalso delicious. Price is very reasonable too, and delivery of usually pretty quick (under 30 min).
The shrimp tacos and shrimp bahn mi - perfection! Always has me coming back. The beef short rib bahn mi is also very delicious.
Definitely best banhmi in the area! The traditional and grill pork were delicious. Will return to try their pho next time!
Our server's personality added to our enjoyment of the meal. Nice employees served our table. The visual appeal here is strong. Banhmigos serves food worth coming back for. This place being accessible is fantastic.
This place is a hidden gem. The bread is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, just the way a good Banh Mi should be. The fillings are fresh, flavorful, and really well-balanced — every bite has the right mix of savory, sweet, and a little bit of heat. You can tell they really care about quality here.
Best banh mi around. Great bread, properly stuffed with pickled carrots n the fillings. Plus the mayo… yum. Pretty orange colored shop too. Rare no frills place in these parts with a straight forward meal promised anytime I’m round this side of the park
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Banhmigos is a Flavor Explosion You Don't Want to Miss!** I stopped by **Banhmigos** in Brooklyn and was absolutely blown away — this place is a *hidden gem*! I ordered the **peach green tea with boba** and a **chicken bánh mì**, and both were *phenomenal*. The peach green tea was refreshingly light, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the boba had that perfect chewy texture. But the real star of the show? The chicken bánh mì. The bread was **baked to perfection** — warm, crispy, and *toasted just right*, which took the sandwich to another level. Every bite had that satisfying crunch followed by juicy, flavorful chicken, crisp veggies, and a delicious balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. While the space is small and seating is limited, Banhmigos *more than makes up for it* with the **exceptional quality of their food** and **friendly, fast service**. The staff were kind, efficient, and clearly take pride in what they do. If you're anywhere near the area, **make it a point to stop here**. Whether you're craving something refreshing or a sandwich that seriously hits the spot, Banhmigos delivers big flavor in a small space. I can’t wait to go back!
I went there yesterday after a very bad day and Banhmigos food gave me a boost I really needed. Grilled pork banh mi was the best I had in NYC yet. Moist, veggies were plenty of sour, salty and sweet, crunchy bread and just the right amount of cilantro. The staff was friendly, pretty quick and very calm overall. I loved the atmosphere. As soon as all the orders were done they went ahead to chill and played card games! Highly recommend. I’ll be back to try some other things they have on the menu. The only minus is that there is no bathroom. I’m 5months pregnant, so it was quite tricky to find a toilet nearby.
I loved this place - they have very good bread which is soft yet flaky and makes the appropriate sound of good French bread. Tons of pickle which I adore, especially the shredded carrot but especially the big chunks of cucumber. Grilled pork was perfect with tons of flavor, recommend medium spicy. Also nice was the bubble tea, I got Thai
The original Banh mi was really good, the baguette was incredible. Wish the ground meat filling was not as salty though
Decent bubble tea with good and satisfying sandwiches. Haven't tried the other items except the spring roll which wasn't that great.
I had the traditional sandwich (medium spice) and a Thai iced tea, and both were good.
It's fast, good, and reliable. Sometimes packed with kids when school lets out. Anything on the menu is good!
Sandwich was tasty but the bread to filling ratio was a little high
Had the traditional sandwich and the duck spring roll. The pickled veggies on the sandwich are dynamite! Peanut butter dipping sauce for the roll was delicious. Really yummy meal.
Closest bubble tea location to Prospect Heights... Pretty respectable quality bubble tea, not bad Vietnamese sandwiches! I definitely recommend if you are into either, especially in this part of the neighborhood.
First time having a bahn mi sandwich...I chose the grilled chicken bahn mi and trust me it did not disappoint..bread was nice and crispy and soft on the inside..smoked duck spring roll had just 1 piece of duck and an overflow of noodles, would have been better with maybe a thicker slice of duck...overall enjoyed my meal..will definitely be back!
Probably one of the best banh mis I’ve had in NYC. The bread had a nice crispness to it and overly full with vegetables. Had a nice ratio of meat to veggies. Also, wasn’t heavy on the cilantro. It’s a just a tad bit pricey, but the quality alone is worth it. I would recommend coming here, if you’re looking for a good neighborhood banh mi spot.
Awesome bread, crispy outside and soft inside, for the sandwiches is worth a 5-star. My 3 year old one put her effort to eat the crunchy bread. However, their new menu, a noodle soup, discount their reputations.
I have to admit I was a bit iffy on ordering here after reading some of the reviews. What a HUGE mistake that would have been. I throw side eye at the claim that the bread was freshly baked. SMH, Another Big Mistake. I order the beef short rib banhmi sandwich with mango bubble tea. The baguette was perfect, crunchy crust and soft inside the short ribs were Super tender, mine had a bit too much carrot and daikon for my taste but that's just me. Zero Regrets!!!! Even my delivery guys was super pleasant. I mean come on!!!
This is my favorite banh mi place in Brooklyn, and possibly in all of NY. The fillings are always packed with a load of seasoning, and are well proportioned. The pork could be a little less salty at times; I've found that it's ok on some days. The beef short ribs is a nice change of filling- the meat is very tender and juicy. The prices are standard for this area at $6.50 a pop and you get a stamp card. I'm on my third stamp card now. That's how often I buy from here.
Had two different experiences at Banhmigos - Both times I ordered the traditional banh mi with vietnamese ham, pate, and ground pork. 1st time I walked in and ordered it to go to eat in the park. I thought it was one of the best banh mis I've had yet in ny. Bread was toasted VERY well, the meats were flavorful and plentiful. 2nd time I ordered delivery - the bread this time was over toasted and slightly burnt. A bit inconsistent in the experience, but I'd still give it another shot.
Banhmigos is a great casual Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Park Slope. We had the traditional sandwich and a shrimp salad to go, and both were quite good. It’s hard to pick between Banhmigos and nearby Lotus when it comes to Vietnamese - both are worth trying though Lotus may have a slight edge.
Delicious food but don’t eat there in person. There is no bathroom!!! Great takeout.
Reasonable prices, but food was okay to below average. Bread a bit soggy, "shredded" chicken appeared to be just boiled and can confirm super flavorless, ya hate to see it. Note to self: keep looking.
It seems to have decent following w lots of reviews. We went on a lark. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t remarkable either. Our standard is Pho Bang in Queens and this fell way short of that. The traditional sandwich was ok: the star being the meat which was well seasoned and tasty however on whole the sandwich was just ok. The kitchen was a bit sketchy and that’s saying a lot coming from someone that eats in flushing a lot. I wouldn’t NOT try again but I wouldn’t go out of my way either
Bubble tea had too many bubbles and no ice. Also, barely any flavor. I got the vegetarian chicken flavor infused tofu sandwich. Pretty good! It really tasted like chicken. The bread was not as soft and crunchy as other bahn mi places I have had around NYC, though.
Bánh mì was just OK. It is definitely not a traditional banh mi. They seemingly forgot my order when person after me got their order first. Then when I got my order it was the wrong sandwich. Person taking orders should really be paying attention.
It's a take out joint, don't expect a restroom. I was upset by the food, I found a bathroom at the Paris baguette across the street. The summer rolls were filled with noodles, where are the other things (carrots or cucumber/veg, apart from the 2 pieces of leaf)? The pho was also mostly noodles. I would have preferred slightly less noodles. The soup base was tasty.
My friends really liked their food. BUT VEG PEEPS beware, their broth isn’t vegetarian it’s beef broth only. Had to cancel my part of the order:( **thank you for response I hope you do. But you really should remove it saying vegetarian, that's not vegetarian and can make people sick..
I love Banh Mi. While what I had here tasted decent, there were 2 issues I had. 1) meat and veggies were placed in the bread side to side. This meant that you could never taste them together. You'd have to take two bites to taste everything together. The juices from the meat weren't coating the veggies and the side with no meat was an extremely dry bite. 2) Mayo. It was standard American mayo instead of the Vietnamese style butter/mayo mixture.
Disappointing. I’m Vietnamese so I was really excited when I moved to the neighborhood, but was really unsatisfied. The tofu spring rolls is 90% mushy noodles with only lettuce, no carrot or cucumber like it traditionally should. The chicken tofu banh mi was okay, but my partner liked it.
Overhyped VIetnamese restaurant. Prices are expensive and the portions are small. Located in Park slope where parking is no where to be found. Cashiers were also rude.
Both the grilled chicken and shredded chicken were hard and dry. The shredded chicken was inedible.
I ordered 5 sandwiches today and none of them had cilantro in it
Extremely subpar pho and sandwiches, also they charge a 5% fee for credit card transactions which isn't posted anywhere in their store. Not all the workers were wearing masks and considering how small the store front is, this felt COVID unsafe Check out 5ive Spice for good Vietnamese food in the neighborhood
Could not finish the banh mi I ordered... something tasted completely off :( Also oddly expensive
This place is pho go go on Uber Eats and is incredibly bland. The broth has no flavor whatsoever and there were huge chunks of raw onion in the pho.
The cashier lady was very unpleasant and borderline rude. The food was just ok. Go somewhere else if you can.
We used to get takeout here all the time and liked the food (mostly sandwiches and pho). I walked in this week and saw the person making my order not wearing gloves and masks, she was grabbing the ingredients with bare hands then went to wash her hands halfway into making my food, likely won’t visit again after seeing the hygiene situation.
This place is ok. I prob won't go back. I got the pork bahn mi sandwich. The pork was precooked and then warmed up in the microwave which I think made it a little tough. They left all the stalks on the cilantro which was annoying and not pleasant to eat. The pork was a little fatty and chewy. The people were nice but if I'm comparing this place to some of the bahn mi sandwiches I've had in the past, it was edible but not as fresh and flavorful.
Not sure what happened to this place. Quality and portions have gone down immensely. Today I got a short rib rice box that was actually nearly inedible. Not usually a picky guy and a fan of short rib, but this slop I wouldnt even feed to my dog. disgusting. the sandwiches remain decent but there are FAR better options for better prices, any yuppies who regard this place as a great spot have never had an actually god Bahn Mi, hate to see it. Mark my words short rib, never. Again.
Ordered a Taro bubble tea, tasted like soap, it’s horrible. Not like how Jasmin has a certain earthy flavor, but literally like dawn dish soap.
Just…no. This is not a good representation of good banh mi. No pate or mayo, pickled daikon and carrots are weird and too much. Braised short ribs were filled with fat that should’ve been cut off. Spring roll peanut dipping sauce slightly bitter.
Ordered the rice rolls (one shrimp and one tofu) and a vermicelli salad. All were very disappointing. The rolls were advertised to have cucumbers and fresh herbs / veggies— they came with just vermicelli and one sad piece of lettuce. The salad was not much better.
Super expensive for an awful, offensively bland bahn mi and the service was lousy.
I really wanted to like this place, which is why I went there more than once but every time I've been there they forget my order and I end up having to wait 40-45 minutes. The customer service is also terrible.
Avoid at all costs! They are inefficient and unable to accommodate customers! They forgot something in my order and didn't believe me. The nerve! They wanted a receipt and rummaged through my bag on a $40 order! Terrible, the quality has also gone way down! Way overhyped and the prices keep going up.
I Been a loyal customer with this place for the last year but today everything change I got a very bad experience I try to order one of my favors for lunch Vermicelli salad and I was told I can't over the phone any more I had to use their App I was so disappointed I had so much trouble with all the questions and at the end It took over 1 1/2 for the food to arrive it was very cold and also is a delivery fee plus ht charge fee so I guess I wont be ordering from there any more it is Covid 19 now I thought they want increase sales not make it difficult what happent ot hte elderly that can't use computers or can navigate through their cells
Just ordered some bubble tea which the menu says is dairy free but now I'm having an allergic reaction so I don't think it's dairy free
If i could give it a 0 i would. Ordered a shrimp rice bowl and it was HORRIBLE. Everything was cold …even the hard boiled egg. The sriracha saved the unseasoned bland cold shrimp. Even the lettuce wasn’t good.
My husband and I are vegan, we ordered a tofu and a vegetarian chicken banh mi. Both were very bland, no fresh herbs, just a lot of shredded carrot, the tofu and chicken was undercooked and somewhat slimy. We also had the vegetarian rolls which were again disappointing: just noodles and lettuce, again no fresh cilantro or mint and the sauce tasted like watered down peanut butter.
The service at this place is the worst. Waited twenty minutes for a sandwich that is only made of cold ingredients, and a Thai tea that could’ve been made in the beginning but waited until I ASKED FOR IT. They are full of delivery orders that they can’t handle, and have in-person customers standing around forever.
Food was mediocre, nothing to rave about. They told us there was a 5% charge for CC, and with cash I wouldn't be charged. However after handing them cash and paying I ask for a receipt. Which they put in the bag instead of handing it to me. Of course they charged me 5% even with cash payment.
I go to the greenpoint location every week and they have the best Vietnamese iced coffee, but this location couldn’t be anymore different. It was the most watered down, bad tasting Vietnamese iced coffee I’ve ever had. Both me and my partner had two sips and threw out the coffee.
Long story short, I ordered from seamless. When I entered my location and ordered pick up there was a mix up and I ordered from this location. Which is nowhere close to me. Honest mistake, not the stores fault. When I called the rectify this, they told me since I ordered two hours ago they couldn’t refund me (I ordered 10/15mins before I called). Then I was told they don’t do refunds for location mix ups and offered no solution. Luckily it was only $12 I lost but it was really frustrating dealing with poor customer service. Order from the Court street location if you can. Really friendly, nice people, they offered me a discount even though they didn’t have to.
Accidentally ordered pho from this location as I prefer the one on Vanderbilt. Asked if they could cancel the order for me. They offered to deliver it which was a nice gesture. The pho comes and the broth has leaked out of the entire deli container. There was no plastic wrap or tape covering the broth. I called to ask if they can send more broth and the soup is now inedible. The woman was beyond rude and told me “no you can order from a different delivery app”. What horrible service. I will never be ordering here again. There are way better pho places in the area who are not rude to their customers.
I ordered them on Uber Eats and I was hoping for something decent. I was served lettuce that obviously went bad. Translucent, wilting, and the sliced cucumbers were all floppy which isn’t normal for fresh cucumbers. I’m expecting to have food poisoning now. Also, this isn’t close to Vietnamese food. It’s honestly a pale imitation to what Vietnamese food actually tastes like. Save your money and go elsewhere.
