Best spot in the area for quick breakfast bites. I don't drink coffee but I hear it's good.

The coffee is really good here. They have bagels and a few choices in various types of cream cheese. There are pastries and a few choices in other food. I will definitely be going back. If you drive, I suggest parking on the side streets close to the shop. There's no parking on the main road near the shop. There is indoor seating.

Love this spot! Love these people! I'm about the lox combo and my boyfriend orders the pastrami (tip- get it with the chipotle mayo). While you're here, get some fleshly ground coffee to go, it comes with a complimentary cup of drip! No seating available inside although there are table tops for munching while standing. Benches, tables, and chairs available outside for warmer months or if you're ok with a lil winter chill.

I’m so happy this coffee shop exists. The coffee is always delicious and the food is as well. The nicest woman works here and she brightens my day every time I come in. I recommend the Lox bagel, Chipotle Chicken sandwich, or the raspberry coffee cake (not sure exactly what it’s called).

Popped in with my roommate after several bong rips. The menu was super simple and service was so fast and kind! I was pretty blazed at that point and no one judged me. As I was paying, my iced latte was already ready and my breakfast sandwich came out in two min. Great food, highly recommend!

They absolutely nailed it. I ordered the pastrami, egg, and cheddar on an everything bagel with chipotle mayo, and it was A-1—perfectly toasted bagel, generous pastrami, fluffy eggs, melty cheddar, and just the right kick from the chipotle mayo. Super satisfying and clearly made with care. The coffee was also perfectly made, which really completed the breakfast. What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail and the friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend Brooklyn Barista to anyone looking for a great breakfast and excellent service.

I love 😍😍😍 this place. The owner is caring ❤ professional and has the best insights on coffee. She had me try the vanilla latte and it's the perfect taste and consistency everytime. Breakfast sandwich can't go wrong with the bacon, egg and cheese and their french toast muffin delicious yum yum yum. Definitely stopping here more often.

I'm visiting my daughter (3 years since last time) and am surprised by the new construction, restaurants, and, of course, breweries. I assume many locals don't like this, but change is inevitable and often advantageous (e.g., new jobs). I lived in Oakland 20 years and witnessed blight become bright. Wishing Brooklyn Barista continued success!

UPDATE: I would happily have changed my review to reflect the level of customer service the owner left in response to what I wrote. Which actually, was a larger inconvenience then I let on because I was being kind in my original review. My partner in fact kindly offered to step out of the house to purchase the missing ingredient to remedy the mistake. So we were further out of pocket for a mediocre breakfast when all was said and done. We have ordered from you quite often in the past, but apparently being petty and losing customers for the future is how you prefer to run your business. Perhaps next time you’ll choose to leave an apology that isn’t dripping with disdain for an inconvenience that you caused. 1 star it is, then. Original review: Ordered a bacon egg and CREAM CHEESE on a bagel (it’s actually capitalized on the menu) and I even clicked the option to specify ‘plain cream cheese’ the order arrived with white American cheese. It’s fine, we have cream cheese at home I can fix it but it’s a bit disheartening to call and let them know about the mistake and no one answers. We’ve tried intermittently for 10 minutes now and nothing.
