I absolutely love this place! The drinks are great , and the food is delicious. ((Try the Cantina Burger with Yuca Fries and Sangarita it’s my fav))The prices are reasonable, they have happy hour from Monday to Friday until 7 p.m. I believe. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, the ambiance is cozy and inviting. It’s never overly crowded at the bar nor the dining area, just the right amount of people to create a pleasant atmosphere.
Cantina 33 is a hidden gem serving up flavorful Latin eats. I came for happy hour Mon- Thurs 4pm-7pm. Fri 4pm-6pmThe vibes are colorful and cozy, and the drinks? Only $8-$9. I had the Sangrita and Pisco Punch. I got the Cantina Platter, 3 tacos, wings, and chorizo wontons for just $20! I definitely had leftovers. Everything was so good, especially those chipotle wings and the sweet & savory wontons topped with caramelized onions and honey. The carnitas tacos were perfectly satisfying. 10/27/25 Camila the bartender was very knowledgeable of the food and drink menu. She was always smiling and very friendly throughout my whole experience. Definitely coming back for a solo happy hour or with friends. Music was Latin mix and Afrobeats they have four TVs perfect for entertainment.
Excellent service, delicious food and cozy environment. Was at bit cold at first but temperature was adjusted eventually. The shrimp tacos were my favorite. The carnitas/chicken tacos could use some more flavor/condiments but enjoyed my experience and had a lovely time. The staff is attentive, kind and quick to bring food/drinks! 100% recommended 👌🏼
My friend and I were looking for a spot to have a late night bite along with some cocktails. We came across Cantina 33 on Seated and figured we’d give it a try and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere and music was incredible (shout out to DeeJay Siz), the food was delish and the drinks were authentic and out of this world. Will definitely be returning.
I came here last year during the pandemic when only outdoor seating was available. The food was good, but it definitely was even better when I returned. The first time I went we ordered ceviche, corn off the cob, wings and tostones, tallarines verde, and lomo saltado. Everything was really good. This time we ate indoors. They had really fun decor with an Instagrammable sign and Halloween decorations everywhere. The best part of course was the meal though. We started off with a pisco sour Sassy Senorita Margarita which is a cucumber jalapeno margarita. It was actually really good. The flavors meshed well together. We ordered the arepita sliders and the chef recommended the specialty ceviche and chorizo wontons which were both delicious. We also got the lomo saltado and chaufa with shrimp. We ended with the dulce dessert tres leches cake. Great meal, great service. Check it out! Follow me on IG @ms_new_foodie and @msnewfoodie on Tik Tok for more restaurant details!
This was my second time here and I was really excited because the first time I came the food was delicious. And guess what, it was just as good the second time!! I got the chicken skewers which were so tasty. Sometimes chicken can be dry but this chicken was SO TENDER. We also got drinks which the menu has a nice assortment those were good as well. Usually I'm too full for dessert but I didn't want to miss out so I got churros and flan and they were A+. The interior of the restaurant is super cool and artsy with art on the walls. The tables are a good distance from each other so I had no worries about COVID. The waitresses are super friendly and give great recommendations if you aren't sure what you want to get. I will definitely be back to support Chef Kev!
You know I'm feeling a spot when I go 2x in one week. The staff is super friendly. Those drinks be hittin, I had the sangrita on a Saturday 2 had me lit. On Friday for HH I had the Pisco punch not the same bang as the weekend but still good. So far everything I've tried for food was delicious, loved the Area pita. As a bonus it was kid friendly the weekend was was quieter but even for HH on Friday I was comfortable with my toddler. Definitely a new fav; decor, vibe, music love it all.
I wanted to visit this place because I recently moved to the neighborhood and their Instagram page really caught my attention. I went on a Sunday night. The place is nice and cozy, although it felt more like a bar than a traditional restaurant. The music was quite loud, which is great for drinks and a lively vibe, but it made dining and conversation a bit difficult. We ordered nachos and arepitas as appetizers. The nachos were slightly dry for my taste, but they were nicely presented. For the main courses, we had the lomo saltado, which was ok, and a burrata salad. I didn’t feel the lemon-and-salt dressing worked well with the burrata when eaten together. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming.
ch did not come after waiting 20 mins and the waitress and bartender were just talking so i ended up calling the waitress over and asking for our drinks. The drinks came about 5 mins later. I ordered nachos with beef i did not like them at all. They were store bought chips, they might of been Tostitos chips. They were really salty. There was not enough toppings, my meal was all chips. The tops consisted of tomatoes, onions, melted cheese, sliced beef, and jalapeños. They present it nicely in a coffee can they pull off to have it fall on your plate. But that doesn’t make up for the flavor. My friend liked her salmon she got, it came with potatoes on the side and spinach with cheese. She did not like my chips either. The guy from the kitchen who brought out my food noticed i didn’t really eat my food and i just told him i don’t feel like there was enough toppings. I didn’t mention the chips, but i should of. The drinks are STRONG. We left buzzed. One drink was enough. The tip is automatic which i didn’t like. The total of our bill was $88 i don’t think it was worth it. I would come here for drinks and that’s it. I will never come back for food.
Two weeks ago, on a Wednesday, I went with my wife to have dinner at your restaurant. I ordered the tacu tacu , which I had enjoyed on previous visits. As I always do, I made it very clear to the waitress that I cannot have anything spicy. Even a small amount of pepper can severely irritate my intestines and potentially put my life at risk. When the food arrived, I began eating the skirt steak, which tasted fine. However, after just one spoonful of rice, I noticed tingling on my lips. Immediately, I felt something was wrong. I asked my wife to try the rice, but she didn’t detect any spiciness, so I initially thought it might be in my head. I continued eating the rice and onions until I began feeling burning pain in my stomach, with the tingling spreading to my throat and lips. Concerned, I asked the waitress if there was anything spicy in the rice. She assured me there wasn’t. But as my symptoms worsened, I became nauseous and had to rush to the bathroom to vomit. Shortly after, the waitress came back and admitted she had investigated further. She discovered that the onions on my plate had been marinated with jalapeños, and those onions had been placed on my rice. This was the direct cause of my reaction. I became ill again and had to run to the bathroom once more. When I received the check, I noticed I had still been charged for the meal. The plate was only comped after I specifically requested it — despite the fact that I had clearly communicated my dietary restriction and had become seriously sick because of the kitchen’s negligence. I found the waitress to be kind but inexperienced in handling a situation this severe. What upset me most was that the cook, whose mistake could have endangered my life, never came out to apologize or take responsibility. I received only an apology from the waitress, which I appreciated but felt was inadequate under the circumstances. Now, two weeks later, I have only just finished my antibiotics and am starting to recover. Sadly, I can no longer trust your establishment. I will not be returning, as I cannot risk my health or my life in a place where such a mistake could happen silently.
Unfortunately I can’t give 0 Stars. Yesterday I had a the worst experience with customer service. The waitress was very rude. I have never been made to feel so bad. Since we arrived the waitress was very apathetic and indifferent, however we ordered 1 lomo Saltado, 2 Tacu Tacu, 1 order of Papas a la Huncaina also 1 order of fries and 3 Frozen Margaritas. We spent almost $200, She brought us the check after 45 minutes, telling us that this was the time limit to be in the restaurant. She practically ran us off saying that they needed the table, the saddest thing is that the restaurant was empty, there were only 2 occupied tables counting mine. We hadn't even finished eating, and we thought we'd order something extra btw the tip was already included in the check (18%) for a terrible service. This is the last time I'm coming and I don't recommend anyone to come, it's just not worth it because they include the tip on your check and not satisfied with that, they suggest you give more tips. It's a theft! The worst thing is that the waiters do not even deserve what they ask for since they give Horrible customer service I NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!
