As a Polish born and raised, I felt incredibly proud seeing how modern the restaurant is while still keeping that authentic folk character. I loved all the thoughtful Polish touches, from the beautiful panoramic illustration of the transatlantic ship to the PRL style plates and cups, and even small details like the Pierogi Boys font. It really felt like home. Now the food… I would honestly say these are the best pierogi I have had in America. I would even argue they could compete with my babcia’s pierogi, which is saying a lot. The meat and sauerkraut were absolutely delicious. I was also so happy to see soups like white barszcz and Ukrainian barszcz done properly, full of flavor and real ingredients. You can truly tell everything is made with love, and that is why it tastes so good. We came for lunch, but we will definitely be back for dinner next time. Of course, we could not leave without stopping by the market for some pączki, and they tasted just like they came straight from a bakery in Poland. Keep it up, Boys, and congratulations on creating such an amazing place. PS Dear waiters and waitresses, please do not forget about the guests sitting in the corner. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our bill. Do zobaczenia 😊

very cute and cozy spot serving up great pierogis and borscht. it was my first time trying white borscht and i think i prefer it now over the red. the pierogis were filling and delicious and also definitely give the reuben a try. the rueben was probably one of my favorite bites from this whole meal. the best part is after you finish eating, you can head to the market that it is connected to.

I can’t get over what a lovely spot this is. The ambiance is just as cozy and detailed as the food. As someone who doesn’t love mushrooms, eggs or gin I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom pierogi, the Ukrainian borscht and a divine gin cocktail (the Happy Sad) only to be pleasantly surprised by the beet ice cream. The service was phenomenal and I left feeling warmed despite it being the coldest night so far this winter. I can’t wait to come back! The little market through the stained glass window is a must too.

Pierogi Boys Market & Restaurant is such a fantastically designed and aesthetically perfect place! Everything looks phenomenal and tastes even better. One morning I tried the almond raspberry croissant—and it was truly divine! The next afternoon I went to eat pierogi, and they didn’t disappoint either. The soft dough, aromatic and delicious filling (I had the Potato & Cheese) was served with caramelized onions, sour cream, and fresh chives. Last night we went for a drink. I tried "Bałtyk," a cocktail based on gin. At first the taste was a bit surprising, but with every sip I started to like it. The place has a great ambiance! As a Pole, I'm genuinely delighted that New York has welcomed a cutting-edge establishment which manages to showcase Polish cuisine in such a fresh, cool way. Highly recommended!

Finally, a neighborhood Polish restaurant!!! No more traveling to Greenpoint. I was genuinely surprised it popped up out of nowhere. We started with the pickles appetizer, which included dill pickles, pickled tomatoes, and mushrooms. Great start. Our waitress recommended the sauerkraut with mushrooms pierogis with cubed Polish bacon and WOW! I’m usually not a sauerkraut person, but paired with the mushrooms it was incredible! I ordered the duck leg. It was slightly dry, but still flavorful. What really stood out was the sauce and the Silesian dumplings it came with. Those potato dumplings were the highlight for me. They’re unique, lightly sweet, and absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying them and I loved them. The white kielbasa was perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. Another win. This is a MUST order: the homemade beet ice cream. You can’t find this anywhere else! It’s incredibly fresh, balanced, and not overpowering at all. So good!!! The waitress was fantastic and made great recommendations. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Growing up with a Polish grandma, I have fond memories of this food. But this restaurant’s take was if grandma went to the Culinary Institute. The beet salad had crispy Jerusalem artichoke chips and sunflower seeds, a crunchy contrast to the silky beet texture. The sauerkraut and mushroom pierogies were tangy ragout tucked into generous pillows of dough made from imported Polish flour. All the dishes were Top notch. The Pierogi Boys chef has managed to take this humble cuisine and elevate it to new heights. The trout, kielbasa, creamy deviled eggs with tiny trout roe (eggs on eggs!). The ambience is welcoming, the staff super helpful and efficient. And the cocktails are bangin’. After dinner, we went next-door to their store, which has a wide range of Polish food, fresh organic vegetables, and every unusual bottled, canned or tinned food you can think of.

Amazing place! We’ve been waiting a long time for a Polish spot that’s not only delicious but also beautifully designed. It has that classic old-school charm with a modern twist. We tried everything on the menu and can’t wait to see what else comes soon! Both the restaurant and the market are absolutely worth a visit!

Great date spot and perfect for family/visitors! Lovely atmosphere and the staff is always so considerate. There are no reservations so I recommend going in a warmer month so you can comfortably wait outside. Once when my party and I were waiting, we were able to enjoy a drink on the terrace outside, which was really nice. I’ve heard they’ll be expanding their menu soon. I’ll definitely be a regular here!

Love this spot. Cafe serves an excellent breakfast sandwich with sauerkraut, coffee is smooth & strong. Dinner plates are familiar classics lovingly prepared. Market is a foodie dream & great resource to the neighborhood for farm fresh produce and unique gifts.

I came here by accident just looking for a coffee and ended up having lunch and drinks because the menu was looking professional, creative but also true to the original recipes. I would never order a grilled cheese out at a restaurant because they usually are trash and I make a mean sourdough gc with dill and soup typically, so when I saw this option I had to try it and I was impressed! Also the environment is chilled out and casual so it’s easy to enjoy the food and drinks at your own pace

This place just makes you feel warm inside. The coffee is amazing, pastries are delicious and the energy makes me want to stay here all day. I can’t wait to come back for dinner service. It’s exactly the kind of place that Ridgewood needed. And the market is amazing for fresh produce and unique groceries!

Came on a Sunday afternoon, it was busy but only had to wait 10 minutes for a table for 2. The food was incredible, best potato and cheese pierogis I’ve ever had. The white borsht was also amazing. The attached store also had a really good selection of items. Looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been going to Pierogi Boys in Dekalb market for years now. Finally got to check out the new restaurant. Lovely place with delicious food options. I went closer to breakfast so I had a coffee, raspberry croissant, and the new menu item, the Reuben with mushrooms. These are wild mushrooms so I recommend if you’re a true mushroom lover. I imagine the kielbasa one would be just as delicious though. It was a tough decision for me. Heads up, Google states they don’t take cash. That is NOT true. They take both cash and card in the restaurant and market.

Oh boy....where do I start? My dinner at Pierogi Boys was an absolute joy. From the moment I walked in to the second I left. I sat at the bar as I usually always do and was met with a warm hello and a beautiful view. We started with beyond delicious pickle martinis and finished with a crisp chilled red on tap. It’s hard to put into words just how delicious everything was. You can tell that each pierogi is made with care and tradition. The entire meal felt comforting and utterly satisfying. We shared everything (which was a problem because there was a fork war once or twice over the last bites) and started with the chilled borscht, then made our way to the sauerkraut & mushroom pierogi, and fought over the who was getting the last bite of kielbasa. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, we stepped into the grocery section. It’s packed with so many incredible products — things you just can't find elsewhere. I wasn't expecting to leave with with two bags of groceries but the heart wants what the heart wants. Pierogi Boys is more than just a place to eat for me, it’s an experience, filled with thoughtful design, and a comfortable place with really good vibes. I’m so grateful they are in the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be back (probably more often than I should). Highly, highly recommend!

What a gem that we’ve gained in Ridgewood! The food was so, so good. They scored the kielbasa in a way that made the skin so crisp. Every part of the meal, including the drinks, was so thoughtful and delicious. The space is beautiful and the design is extremely well done. We can’t wait to return :)

I have been waiting long years for a restaurant serving quality Polish cuisine in an updated version where I could bring my close ones and clients and introduce them to my culture. Now the wait is over, Pierogi Boys finally have a restaurant with table service. The space is a cozy mix of wooden tables and booths set in a space with big beautiful windows with traditional and modern Polish elements. There’s Polish art on the walls, the plates are unique, featuring traditional motifs and there are special coffee cups designed by a Polish artist Michal Loba. Feels like a heartwarming visit at your aunt’s with restaurant quality dishes. We visited twice and had pierogi and kielbasa which have been a staple for years - great classic. We have also tried the Schnitzel (Schabowy) which was absolutely top notch - the crust was puffy and the schnitzel was very delicate. We finished with the dessert pierogi with sweet white cheese filling and chased with the black currant liqueur (and other great cocktails). Throughout the evening the owners came up to check in on us and had a very nice conversation. Beautiful evening - I highly recommend to anyone, not only Polish food aficionados.

Pierogi Boys is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly delicious – the traditional Polish pierogi taste just like homemade, and the borscht is aromatic and perfectly seasoned. The pork schnitzel is also amazing: juicy, flavorful, and truly impressive. The interior, designed in a 70s style, adds a wonderful atmosphere – warm, nostalgic, and full of character. It’s a great spot for a quick meal or a relaxed gathering with friends. Highly recommended!

My partner and I were excited to try this new addition to the neighborhood. We felt the food was good, and we really liked the atmosphere. The white borcht was delicious, the pierogis were large and delicious too but both my partner and I felt it lacked something. Our main dishes, the schnitzel was a pleasant surprise, the components of this dish were definitely meant to be eaten together (the anchovies brought the saltiness that the schnitzel lacked, if eaten alone there was really not much flavor to it). Overall, would return for their borcht and other menu items.

Pierogi Boy's brings a new hope for the space of an old funeral home. The restaurant is finely decorated with intricate touches. The food is tasty and will warm the soul. And last but not least, there is also a market nextdoor as well, to take home a memory of the experience. However, there is still some fine tuning that needs to happen to really make this place shine brighter than their DeKalb Market location. When it comes to decor, the folky mushroom salt shakers clash with the modern atmosphere of the restaurant. However, the modern Polish music was a nice touch and set a nice ambiance for the place. I also found there to be too many servers squeezed into the small space and the service too attentive. Moving the hosts podium towards the window might help open up the space. I also did not expect the soup and pierogi to come out at the same time, which limited the availabile table space. And the food, it all tasted good. But, it could be better. I found the Ukrainian borscht too chunky, it was more of a beet salad au jus. Also, the short rib pierogi tasted sweet and could benefit from some stewed carrots or potatoes to balance the meatyness. The potato and cheese pierogi were stellar, but the caramelized onion garnish was a tad too sweet. Regardless of these shortcomings, I still recommend Pierogi Boys, but I'll stick to the DeKalb Market location.

Went to Pierogi Boys Ridgewood on Monday (MLK Day.) the food and server were excellent. I only had two issues; which I feel can be easily corrected because I would love to see this place really thrive. 1.) the food & drinks took forever (I’m giving them grace as Monday isn’t usually a holiday.) I ordered borscht and was delivered “white borscht” which I did not order and it took about 15 minutes for them to correct the mishap. Drinks (a Coke Zero, and dill lemonade) also took forever. We need to speed things up within the bar & kitchen to promote more successful service. 2.) After clearing the first course, the pierogis were delivered and utensils (spoons for borscht) were not changed for forks and knives leaving myself and my guest to eat with spoons. Again, not the end of the world but attention to small details like resetting a table should be taken seriously especially in a small cafe. Our server was super friendly and the staff seemed very helpful… but I think a better focus on attention to detail would be great for this establishment. Upon the bill, I noticed they did not change the white borscht I did not order to the regular borscht (there is a price difference of a few dollars.) I paid for it without mentioning it because I could see it was busy. The food and the people working there is a 10/10 for me. I loved every dish. I just believe a little more speediness in service and a better attention to detail (resetting tables with proper utensils) would do this establishment a lot of good. Will be surely coming back!
